assistant coach and a rookie player spending a lot of time and then both careers growing and now the relationship changing the thing I'm most grateful for is I think of all the 13 years for whatever reason last year I think was the closest we ever worked in game is incredible because he's extremely athletic he's a point guard who has the ball in his hands a lot and you can dunk at the same time I think people would love to see that oh my god he come right out of knowing he's Superman they're out of their seats with Miami one of the great jumps in heat history he's real acrobatic you know he has a great first step you know and he's able to face with dunks and I think that's what puts him on another level [Applause] [Music] [Applause] to this guy is spectacular around the ground he's a type of kid that's very strong and he's very aggressive in order to get to the back you have to be aggressive you have to be relentless and that's what he has in this game [Applause] Wade is Team USA's leading scorer coming off the bench averaging 18 points and three steals per game it's the best basketball scene in play since the finals I mean he's unbelievable he's doing everything into the line making outside shots he's defending he's rebounding I think shutting it down for the rest of the season was the best decision that he's made because now you see the result of him being 100% bringing a gun at the average is 25 points a game from up in Germany I mean no one know I had that in big tournament is not a little strange guarding a few guys spent the last week summer together you know playing on side wooden goal together no not really nobody stranger yeah I think it so it's more fun because you know each other and you know he's a with a couple days and I got he's picked up for yes he is now if you'd ask me this question with about a month ago in the regular season I think I would have stood by your man Kobe Bryant at that point but at that point Kobe hit a physical wall he lost some lift he lost some quickness he lost that ability that energy to turn it up in the fourth quarter I'm not sure we'll ever see that Kobe again that superstar Kobe after 15 NBA seasons but right now I can make the case that Dwyane Wade is the closest thing we have to Michael Jordan in in his ability to impact to explode on a game I'm talking about just take it over take it up a whole nother level where when you're watching TV you say wait wait a second that guy's way better than anybody on the court right now he can score he can slim it through he can dunk it he can shoot threes he can block shots he can rip down rebounds you say that that's what Jordan is do you'd say wow that guy's just way better Wade in a time when it's time to take it over right I'm not saying he's Michael Jordan but he can dominate right now the way nobody else in the league can dominate Wayne Wade again became the player of the month in February and ranked second overall and first in the Eastern Conference in scoring in the NBA averaging 30 point 9 points per game oh right by the way he's playing up at all dang you know is amazing to watch this historical you know the nominees put another lane way a new career-high 50 points for way that was the wane that everybody naturally really said okay this guy of MVP worthy wage MVP statement was ever so loud in a double overtime and you got to go out there and show by example and you know ever since the bring us without me trying to do that mr.
