hey man it's about yg aka yangala and when you talk about the best score in nba history there are so many ways you can look at it because kevin durant is the best offensive weapon we have ever seen and that's mainly because of his height and he can do everything on the offensive side of the ball but when you look at michael jordan he has 10 scoring titles and i'm not sure if anyone will break that record and just like kd he can do everything to get you a bucket he also has 31 50 point games that is the most since wilt chamberlain with 118 50 point games yeah will was a monster and i'm not even sure if i should call him that at this point the easiest answer is wilt since he averaged 50 points in a season and scored 100 points in the game but then you can't forget about kobe and kareem because kobe's whole mindset was to destroy you by scoring and he has the second most points in the game with 81 and kareem has the most points in nba history but the biggest question i want to ask you is where you put lebron because there's no doubt he'll be the all-time leading scorer and he did average 25 plus points for 17 straight seasons you can't just overlook that and not even get to mention allen iverson curry james harden and carmalone so anyways man let's listen to nba legends and play and share who they think is the greatest score of all time but before we get you into that make sure you like share subscribe and hit that notification bell for the culture so you won't be missing any of my videos and let's get to the vet man you had to chill for a few years like you remember you remember the scene and loving basketball bro went when it's not late and she defended and it's like it's crazy like yeah that's my description every time guard and coke like every like bruh the man like you everybody knows at one point where he literally is the one player in the league he might shoot a left hand he'll do anything yeah you can't put nothing past him he'll do anything yeah that's what i'm saying he was out there like i tried on you boy like you got i tried something to not even care like i try something on you and then like how you out there like bro this dude here you want some what like please the fourth and they disrespect them constantly he was just nobody had the mentality that he had like man that man would like it's kill everybody all the time okay nobody fight me you say something to me i'm putting 50 on you and i'm not saying it i'm talking about literally i'm about to try and put 50 yeah yes like and i'm a talk bad i'm a man please oh 506 seasonality man that man was a killer i was standing up late seeing you in high school watching him going to work i watched that 81 point game live and when he got to cooking and that night i was like this is the greatest this is the greatest player i've ever seen huh bruh i really thought that that night i'm like man he's shooting face he coming into the lane stopping on the down get you two pump fakes right before three seconds i'm pulling up hard physically but trying to get man okay screaming all you got he dunked like oh okay okay that's what you oh okay i'm about to he was screaming like all the best defenders that i heard of in the league coming up like before i got into the league the shane battiers the the the raja bells like he was really going right at them every night and he was really trying to punk him like he really tried short like they was good defenders they got paid for playing defense and cole he's like not going crazy now you want to get in the kobe stopper name reuben patterson they tried stop game winners on that he was cooking the people's man i'm like he too good in this league because like he was like the rest of the two guys in the league was catching shoot threes or they was great defenders or they couldn't really shoot and these pick-and-roll guys it was like not a complete two guard around at that time this man has meant so much to the league after michael jordan we didn't know who was going to take the choice and run with it what kobe took it him and tim duncan and vote for them 1-5 championship but there will never be another kobe bryant i put him up there right below michael jordan has the two greatest scores i've ever seen uh probably in the history of this game and uh he's gonna be sorely missed shaq and kenan you're gonna answer arnie also mike d'antoni said something a couple weeks ago and i'm going to ask michael jordan kobe bryant george iceman girvin kevin durant and james harden who is the best individual scorer out of those guys that's a serious question that's a serious question i mean i'mma be biased and you take michael out of it and you want to just say who's kobe but no kobe bryant is a better scorer than james harden yeah yeah all that really yeah i don't know man this guy kobe bryant is a better scorer listen i think those guys are better players but i'm talking about individually because those guys are great defenders that's the question we gave your answer i understand it but kobe bryant had 81 points in the game james harden james harden unguardable kobe bryant had 81 points i understand that there's nobody else's game close but and he and will chamberlain and kobe i'm actually we could just don't i'm just saying i'm just saying i think you are disagreeing i think james harden is unguardable one-on-one you know what about kevin minnesota kevin durant stop it nowhere i ask you a question kevin durant has led the league in scoring like four straight years at one point i'm just telling you james harden to me might be the most uh unguardable player i've ever seen he's definitely in the top five yeah he's he's in that scoring that's all i have conversation sensitive no but no you but i thought you were going to go with guys playing today i'm just talking about when you say kobe and michael those are that's another stratosphere and george gervin yeah he's about i think he's a just as good a scorer as george gervais i'm just saying i just i i believe he's but he's in the top five just leaving okay okay i have a question i have been the top five what about lebron you think lebron is lebron's not scored like these guys like lebron's a better all-around player but these guys are like i'm gonna get in the ball and they're gonna get me a shot every single time i understand where you're coming from he is in the conversation it's not so very far-fetched but you don't have to be the first guy to rush to the hot tape i mean i kind of like that he's not there just yet this is his 11th season okay and when you say dynamic i have to go to big numbers because we're talking about all-time greats k.d in his career he's he's won four scoring titles four that's a lot four scoring time michael jordan has won 10. there you go okay his career high is 32. wilt's career high is 50. that's insane kd's career high in a game is 54. okay okay my point is is he a terrific scorer we're not talking about the best three-point shooter we're not talking about who has the most championships right michael jordan is the most dynamic scorer to ever play in the nba must mention kareem must mention kobe must mention ai okay kd is in the conversation let me uh your turn chauncey and i'll give my i appreciate that paul thank you very much paul i like where you're going and katie is a guy that just we've never seen we've just never seen a guy like this six ten maybe even six eleven argue that they can score all over the place can't actually say who's the tallest scorer and he's very dynamic and he's in the conversation but i think that he has a little ways to go just let's just face it michael jordan averaged 30 for a career katie's done it twice in his career but i hate to be and i hate to admit this that but i am a prisoner of the moment a little bit because you got guys like iceman george girvin who i talk to a lot of legends and they say he's the best scorer that they've seen in their era that's why i call k.d iceberg swim mix of george you got guys you also got guys like elgin baylor um that are in these conversations so i am a prisoner at the moment because i've seen katie play i've played alongside him before in usa basketball and then guys like mj um that played with great scores like mellow who you know were good scorers but this guy is elite i just can't give him that title now when i say elite let's talk about the way he does it now you got the great scores you guys mentioned jordan will you know kobe these guys are great scorers they're probably going to have higher averages than kd they probably going to have more points in one game than k.d i mean katie will probably never score 81 but when i say elite and i go down the line of weaknesses and strengths look at this graphic right here oh my god let's say you put jordan in this category jordan isn't leading everything not free throws like k.d stop kobe free throw shooter stop it i mean the one thing you never showed up the one thing that separates him is his three-point shooting from all the rest well let me tell you what he's the greatest graphic in the history of let me tell you why that's the one thing that's separated he only plays in a three-point error right he michael jordan these guys they didn't shoot a lot of the game was different we have the opportunities that kobe you know kobe scored 60 in this last game you know he scored 80 in a game he's not going to have the opportunity to have his own team i'm not comparing him to kobe kobe is greater than durant i'm not comparing the two so don't you people were looking i'm not comparing tweet adam so the way he goes about see he had a team with westbrook he couldn't go out there and just go for 60 70 games but he met the year he won mvp westbrook missed 27 games he averaged 35 points now you're telling me if westbrook missed the whole season he probably would average close to 36 37 a night for an entire season we see we've seen guys like tracy mcgrady have his own team no other all-stars go for 60-point games very dynamic he's not going to have that opportunity because he's played with westbrook and curry so he can't just go out there so let me know he chose that no no you mean the most elite scorer doesn't have an opportunity because his teammates are getting in his way listen he has two 20-point scorers on his team and he scores 25 a game they were there when he did what other players what other players do you know in nba history has three 20-point scores now to average 25 for nuggets did it 25 26 points with two others on your team that's tough to do can we put that graphic back up i want to make sure you guys no don't ever put that down it was a great time you guys why are you arguing with paul look at the graphics where's the argument at right here post scorer we don't see him go to the poll we're going he goes to the midpoint opportunity to guard this he goes to the mid post listen he gets it done anywhere on the we're not saying who's the most complete scorer we're not saying who's the tallest scorer who's the best three-point shooter you said the most elite and kd score in 11 years he's had four 50-point games four of them will second youngest to 20 000. okay to lebron james who still plays in the league too by the way who can score the ball too wilt chamberlain has scored over 50 118 times michael jordan has done it 31 times kobe being bryant has done it 25 times how about just saying the way he goes about it the way he goes about school no weaknesses say that in his office is he just early is paul that is the lead that's illegal right you're getting in front of the hot tub just a little early maybe that's it i scored 50 11 times i was talking guys that new basketball what if a.i played he's a player that has a legitimate chance to pass kareem abdul-jabbar so he's in the family of all-time great scorers ain't no question however i got to get out the history books for everybody they're unique buckets that have walked the face of this earth that have played in the nba so a line of demarcation i'll go to 50-point games okay the guys that have laced up sneakers jacoby and have scored at least 50 points in nba games look at wilt chamberlain does that say 118 times 118 game high 100 okay so that's all of those other four combined right so that means he have to be in there look about michael jordan 31 times why people always leave out the black mamba in this conversation do you remember that time when black mama averaged like 40 for like a quarter of the season it's like a month and a half yeah and and another measurement of scoring title of great scores is scoring titles kevin durant has four scoring titles michael jordan has 10 scoring titles and so again i know kevin durant is the most efficient 611 seven foot scorer that we've seen and he's going to go down in this conversation but let's not dismiss the people that some of us have seen that have done it before kd mj kobe now i'm going to name it i'm going to tell you what he has over there the long ball that's what i'm saying that three the three that separates them what but what separates them is their overall packaging turns up they they have post game in between he has a post game no haiti doesn't have posters what katie wants to do katie wants to get outside and shoot the jumper he doesn't have that right there man so if kd puts you in the mid post and jabbed off how often do you how often does he go in there though you can't block his no you can't go in there no you can't block your shot but how often is he in there most of his points is coming out on a perimeter he's in an offense to where he can't really demonstrate it they don't want to slow it down get it to the post we don't even play that type of basketball no more you know they don't come down throw it in the post and wait for you to make a move you know he's doing it in so many different ways you know these guys kobe grey scores but what separates kd he can do all the things they did but his three ball is is okay that's gonna always be an argument because when you talk about the greatest scores of all time you know until kareem's record gets broken everyone's gonna say korean you know what the older generation is gonna say kareem if he's at the top and no one's beat his record he's the greatest scorer of all time right then everyone's gonna buy well jordan is the greatest scorer of all time because of how he scored and then you know in a few years lebron will be on top of the scoring list because you know he's gonna break that scoring record but as a basketball player as a basketball fan who understands the game the way kevin durant scores is really effortless he can't actually be stopped controlled or challenged because of his height his shooting so he is probably the easiest bucket getter in nba history jordan fans which i am one i'm a fanatic or gonna scream well he didn't do this he don't you know like when it comes to paper stats you look at what you want to look at right jordan scoring is amazing we see those right and you're going to say well kevin durant never did this well there's one fall that's going to always be with jordan compared to kevin durant and it's this jordan's second best player was scotty pittman right it was a hall of famer scottie pippen wasn't a natural scorer so scottie pippen's best three years under jordan while jordan was on the court he averaged 20 21 21 right that is the number two option 21 21 20. when jordan wasn't there yes 22. so jordan is the primary load of scoring well kevin durant average 22 23.6 23.2 21.8 when he when when kevin durant went down that second option didn't average 22 he has 28 right his score went up that much that's westbrook he's he he has westbrook with him during during the year he averaged 27 28 28 32 25 he had westbrook with him and westbrook was averaging 21 23 23 21 28 and then their last year together one average 28 one average 23 right right while westbrook is averaging seven and eight assists right so westbrook was a more dominant on the offensive end more than um and then his number two option his curry his number two option is curry curry averaged 25 that year the third option the third number three klay thompson averaged more than pippin did with jordan number three average more with he has more than pippin did with jordan pippen being the number two option the next year curry average 26 clay had had the worst year of his career in on paper average 20 when we look at it and then the following year curry averaged more than durant that year 27 so the rent averaged 26 curry average 27 in clay average 21.5 jordan never had the offensive players that kevin durant had to play with for him to dial down his points and sacrifice points so when it comes to looking at their stats they're not that far apart to say jordan is no you have to give it to kevin durant because he didn't have he didn't have for his career a guy who only averaged 23 times yeah you know so it's it's it is kevin durant who's the greatest scorer of this era is it steph is it james kd lebron james scorer lebron james it was a big favorite what's up i hear exactly what you're saying i hear exactly what you're saying and and people might disagree with me but understand this the greatest score is not only its consistency its longevity and its amount now it might not be these crazy bursts like for me i was never like a 40 point a game i was like every night you were gonna get between between on my best you were gonna get between like 17 and 30. every single night i was not a nine points 51 22 no i was just very consistent lebron james playoff scoring right playoff scoring he passed michael jordan three seasons ago and he's going to add to that right over before his career ends so to pass lebron james in all-time playoff scoring records somebody is going to have to do what average 30 points a game and go to like 13 nba finals that shit's not going to be broken the playoff one's not and then he's gonna pass kareem so as much as we don't view him as a scorer right like steph's greatest shooter kevin durant's greatest like weapon as a scorer because he's so big but like who's the greatest scorer he's number four all the time right now you know so funny i had an argument with someone about that and it was like uh it was like uh he's not even a a natural scorer and i say and that should be funny because the guy who's a fast per fast uh pass first thinker has beaten out two dominant scores guys that just scored they just scored first and and that's not a difference so how do you first like i said how do you say he's not 25 points a game for 15 straight years like well i know it's weird i know because it's weird when used to when you you don't think of him as that he doesn't approach the game as that but when you look at the records they are that so yeah and that's the and that's the that's so like if someone says who is the best natural scorer in the game today everyone's gonna say you know katie i would yeah but who's the best scorer of all time it's gonna be lebron because that's longevity and he could do anything he wants in the court no but as long you say longevity like how did kareem and michael jordan and kobe bryant and carl malone get to that level dream longevity yeah that's what i'm saying was all longevity so it's like when you're talking about the greatest scorers of all time would you put michael jordan and kobe and kareem and carl malone up there but you don't consider braun even though he's about to pass all of those guys but that's not much of a boxing yeah well it was apparent he wasn't much a boxer you don't think much of jabar uh i think a great deal of visibility on the basketball court the greatest office of force i had ever seen uh unfortunately uh well you know that that i've seen you know but not as much as as michael do you think uh well you know i think that uh maybe michael is a he's a he's unbelievable michael's in he's over here hey listen both of you played against kareem abdul-jabbar he's gone on forever on this tape we can see bob lanier coming out with that patented jump shot hitting here against him and then of course will you had some memorable duels against him bob let me let me ask you what was it like against kareem he was probably see i caught wild at the end of his career and wilt did kind of be kind well you didn't want to score at that point you just wanted to do what you had to do to win kareem was difficult because he could score all the time he was quick and he impacted the game both offensively and defensively tough tough for me to handle what about your dream skills now will where are they i think they've demanded a great deal i think maybe the man should be taught about five years ago but when i put it against him he was the greatest scorer i've ever seen so guys i hope you enjoyed the video and tell me who do you think is the greatest score of all time so make sure you like share subscribe and share love to the yg gang and i'm out [Music] ryan
