it sounds simple but um i wanted to ask you about the um lamb slain before the foundation of the earth and they he also talks about in peter um i had sorry i had the it was basically describing the the lamb blameless um had to say sacrifice before the uh foundation of the world with before the creation that he had to slain and i was meditating on um why uh i mean not why how he was slain because it was before the creation so there will be you know father son and holy spirit right so who would be actually slaining and why why um why he was in the form of lamb because it was anything was created before right so um him um manifested in the form of lamb as an animal or sacrifice um i was just meditating on why that will be okay well it's figurative in that when when you read that in revelation and in peter or other places you sort of get a picture of it it's helping us to connect to it it doesn't mean that he was an actual lamb right okay what would the lamb represent the lamb represented sacrifice um or an offering more is rather than a sacrifice it was an offering so if you look at it from jesus offering himself before creation to ensure that creation would be restored to ensure that on the foundation stone of creation there was blood essentially his blood which was something of literal blood but think of it representing him right but it wouldn't it be also congeal light because there was no fall and no sin so it wouldn't say yeah if the bible said congealed light you wouldn't understand it in context of what that means because we know jesus came in time and space and went to the cross and shed his blood so you you're looking at it from uh we wouldn't understand anything until we got a grid of reference for it and then it's using language to help us connect to the grid of reference that we now have at that moment you're talking about before time so everything was the eternal now so in a sense from god's perspective everything was now um but before actually the physical creation took place it already was formed within the heart of ma of god and within the now so don't think of it as a literal lamb in a sense that well how could there be a lamb because there was nothing created well it was still all created in the mind of god and in the heart of god so but it helps us to understand what was a lamb or it could have said a goat it could have said a red heifer it could have said it any anything but we know jesus being the lamb of god you know it's something we understand it's a term that we connect to now who did the slaying well obviously again we're not talking about the cross as in a physical death of a physical being so we're talking about a an offering that was given of life to ensure that life was going to be redeemed everything was going to be restored so there are those that would say this was who was the who who made sacrifices or who received the offerings priests hi priests so the day of atonement the high priest took the blood of uh an offered lamb and received it and then put it on to the mercy seat and then it was received by god so think of it in those terms and you'll think well what who was a high priest who jesus was a high priest well he didn't sacrifice himself or he didn't he didn't slay himself right so who was there before now you're thinking before the foundation of the world that doesn't mean before anything was created so i would suggest that jesus is a high priest after the order of melchizedek who had no genealogy no beginning in the end i believe was was the one who gave made received the offering and did the slaying on behalf of mankind and of the order of melchizedek of that high priesthood a king and a priest so i think that's that's really what took place but we're not really talking about a physical reality as we know it as we see in the cross you know in the same way right but it doesn't mean that nothing existed before the world it was existed because we all existed before the world we all observe creation right from our spiritual identity as being a pre-existing spirit within god um so in one sense we were all observing um but from this perspective of that order of melchizedek i believe it was melchizedek who was one of the covering cherubs of the existing two covering cherubs [Music] who who did that but i would suggest that was probably before he was a covering cherub because it appears that lucifer had no knowledge of it oh well right so i think that's really we're referring to something which is why i believe all creation will be restored because he did that right creation which is really you're talking about the mercy seat from our knowledge now we know the blood was put on a mercy seat which is on the ark within the holy holies within the center of of the heavenly realms um but from that perspective happened there ensured that all of creation would eventually be restored that's what i believe that's why you know people talk about you know that there are there are those who talk about the the foundation stone of creation the very essence of creation effectively um you know and and i think whatever took place within that eternal perspective was outworked in time through the cross um it just it just that brought it into experience for us but if even before the cross people had relationship with god so it it it was representative of something which was always being you know there for people yeah we tend to put it in terms of acceptance through something we've done through a religious system of sorts um but in actual fact it's it's it's right within the very fabric of creation well i what i was asking about the the blood um actually wouldn't it be the light that he was pouring out even though it they didn't express blood as that yeah but well yeah because he hadn't even got real blood as a spiritual being it wasn't until he took on the form of a man right but he had literally the blood of adam you know he took he took on the man um and represented fallen adam not unfallen adam so he didn't take on well i took it on mankind in an unfallen state he took on the identity of man in all forms such as we are in um as a man and therefore had blood but previously to that was a spiritual being and therefore yeah you could say spirit light love we're all part of that whether we look at it i mean you could say you know the shedding of blood was an extreme form of love obviously um and light is the revelation or the truth that reveals the nature of it and so yeah thinking of it as light um wouldn't affect um in any way negatively um it's just another way of expressing it but you've got to understand that when people wrote that or were inspired to write here they were trying to use their knowledge to express something which is very difficult to express it's got to be relevant to people in that grid of reference that their readers hurt ready and so when it used blood and shed and lamb they understood that that was an offering and that what what it was saying was jesus was the offering you know i mean if you read um ephesians 1 4 where it talks about us being predestined in love to restored relationship you know that restored relationship was predestined that's another the what you're describing is what caused it to be predestined what caused it effectively to be inevitable um because god didn't create everything uh for it to be lost he created everything for a relationship that actually kind of enforced a bit about that predestination more so than how we kind of say because i i was discussing this with another friend and she she believes more of predestined than free will well yeah i'm not talking about pre-destined and therefore no free will yeah that that's that's the problem people separate everything you say predestined they think of predestination as a concept as a theological doctrine which is of course yes in opposition to armenianism or free will they're they're both consistent right it's man who has free will and god respects our free will but god is not going to change his nature and character and ever give up on us so his love will effectively mean that our free will eventually will come into agreement with his love and we will all by choice except to be restored and there's no there's no need to to think of it in the calvinistic view which is more well god is going to make it happen and he'll force us to do whatever he wants us to do it doesn't have to work like that god is quite capable of engaging with us to bring us to a realization of his love it may be in the fire of his presence it may be through the fiery circumstances of life it may be through a moment of illumination whatever it might be but he's at work in us to reveal himself you know and there's no no need to have this sort of conflict between free will and you know predestination but uh but when i'm saying predestined i'm not talking about a doctrine ephesians 1 4 says just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world so that was the moment when he gave his life figuratively for ours he chose us in him we were included in him at that moment we were included in the death of that moment and therefore the life of that moment so he chose us before the founder that we would be holy and blameless before him in love now in our own sense we're anything other than holy and blameless in our in our natural state but he chose us to be and so in one sense it's not that we did anything but when we come to a realization of that we accept it and then it says he predestined us to adoption our sons and daughters through jesus christ himself according to the good pleasure of his will so he predestined us to be holy and blameless before him in love and the mirror bible says there i think it talks about um face-to-face restored to face-to-face innocence he has chosen us to be restored to face-to-face innocence um and did everything necessary for that face-to-face innocence when before the foundation of the world that choice was made for all of us he included everybody um but everyone has to come to a realization acceptance of that and he's at work continually to enable people to do that you know to fully enable people to do that but he's never going to say to people or force people by removing their choice i don't think anyone's got free will in one sense because we're all influenced by something so we make choices based on what we're influenced by right if we're making choices based on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which is our knowledge without god then we will choose some religious dead work if we're making choices based on the tree of life then we will choose to accept the wonderful grace and mercy and love that he has for us you know so yeah i think we've just got to move away from doctrinal understanding of things you know because it frames something up into a into man's doctrine right rather than what god is really what god really means and what god really did you know and that that's part of that's part of the problem you know we we frame it because those words mean something in a doctrinal sense depending on whatever tradition you've been brought up in i mean if you're brought up in a reformed tradition methodist tradition anglican tradition charismatic tradition pentacle you you'll all have a different perspective on what those words mean you know and if you were brought up you know because there are calvinist charismatics there are calvinist reform there are you know there's all sorts of different perspectives to it um and i i believe that um what we will begin to come to realize is that we can't define god through theology or through doctrine it must be through experience right you know and those experiences will frame who god is because he wants to reveal himself you know you don't want to hide it from us he wants to reveal it to us so then we come to a realization and acceptance of the reality of it not just get caught up in words and semantics over words you know predestined oh predestination you believe in the doctrine of predestination no i don't from what a theological concept do i believe in predestination yeah he predestined us in other words he had a destiny for us which existed before right we came into this realm you know and we were already in it before we came into this realm you know it just means that we we don't get caught up in words and therefore concepts which are always going to be less than the fullness of experience that we get when we engage god face to face and that's why it says he chose us in him that we would be before him so in other words before him face to face blameless in other words made righteous you know essentially all of creation was made righteous at the moment of that i am being slain well that's really from god's perspective obviously from our perspective we we definitely don't feel righteous um until we come to a realization that he made us the righteousness of god in christ but it's in christ it's not excluded it's never going to be in the independence of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that we actually come to any realization of the truth when we have a realization it will be a realization what has already been done for us you know and that that just in a sense makes us more aware of how wonderful god is and how he's chosen us not because we were doing anything or earned anything he he did the choice and obviously calvinist would say well he chose some whereas i would say he chose all yeah just some realize it now um but it's our responsibility to help other people realize it by presenting the reality of who god is as love so much easier to accept the nature of a loving god rather than an angry god who's gonna punish everybody thank you all right hey i am all right anybody any questions anything you want to ask well how can i find i'd just like to know how we can increase our opportunities to to experience god i mean i'm you're you're probably going to find this hard to believe but um i train people at our church in the prophetic but when it comes to hearing a god for myself i do hear but i i feel really clumsy and i'm wondering what is wrong um because i should be able to do that um it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong it just it's just a sense of practicing training our senses to be able to do it more naturally rather than do it as a program or an activity just being rather than doing you know you're teaching people in the prophetic to do prophetic stuff you know and actually what we what we want to be trying to do is to help people to be to realize that who they are inherently gives them access to the father through jesus and that will be differently expressed for everybody that's why we can't formulate we can't make it a formula if you do this this will happen this will happen because you may be a censor a feeler you may have a different way of and that's you you know now you can practice to learn to engage in other ways but it's better to focus on developing the way you do it to the greatest level and sometimes he will take us out of that comfort zone of how we do it and take us into a trance or into an experience and we have you know an encounter or a visionary experience and that's great and that might then stimulate us to pursue oh i'd like more of those and then pursuing that but i would say in engaging god the best way is without agenda generally what we're taught to do is go to god for something right we go for a word we go for something but we want we go for with a petition we go for you know an answer to prayer or whatever it is rather than why don't we just enjoy god for god and that frees him to set the agenda so when we sort of remove the agendas of what we're expecting from encountering god to just allow him to set that then it's so much easier you know i don't have to try and uh what do i want today how do i want to do this and we can get tense trying to do it and miss the simplicity of it of just being just relaxing because when you relax and you don't strive it's so much easier to be still and know god it just that's how it is the more we try to know god actually it's counterproductive and the harder it actually becomes because we're trying how do i do it trying i'm trying i'm striving to and just relax in his love you know and you can ask him to reveal himself to you um which but that is there's not an agenda oh can you do this for me can you it's more i just want to know you more i just want to enjoy your prayer i want to enter into your love so i'm just going to come and allow you to do that with me you know and it is hard when we're used to programs you know well we've got the prophetic program and we've got the prophet and i've done that myself taught people how to hear god speak how to get words of knowledge you know how to prophesy out of how to do that you know and you know i've done that many times but now i just would rather just hey just relax and engage with god well how do i engage with god well use a simple exercise which opens a door to it you know i i like the door opening thing because i think jesus you know quoting the whole thing in john in revelation quoting behold i stand at the door and knock is a good picture so he's knocking i'm going to open the door and then whatever i experience is what he wants me to experience i don't open the door and then try and figure out what am i going to experience how do i then experience it what is it that i want to experience i just started simply in that place of inner connection and then let him take it beyond that because it makes it easier we don't have to do anything and he was like oh well nothing happened i guarantee something is always going to happen you may not be able to discern it or tune into it necessary immediately but it something's always happening and even if you're not aware consciously your spirit will be engaging because god is always there you know and if we make a choice to open to him then he's gonna engage us we just have to learn to tune into those things you know and that might be easier from some than others it wasn't easy for me too many years to have to learn how to tune in because i've never been taught to hear god or see him or experience him in any way it was like we'll read the bible and that's as much as you're going to get of experiencing god but i tend to be analytical like you uh you've mentioned that in the past so um so i'm just wondering if you know is my mind interfering because i can get in the way it can get mine used to get in the way you know and it's like when i was like oh we'll meditate how do i meditate what do i do you know it's like well what do i do okay so i just i looked i read the looked at the word meditation in a dictionary and it was like you know and i looked up the bible verse you know the bible meaning of meditation and it was like oh okay think ruminate you know just ponder really ponder keep pondering oh so i'll just focus my thinking on god you know it was as simple as that but it took me years to master it because i was expecting something different i was expecting you know it's almost like i was had my expectations that were mine you know and i didn't have any experience so my expectations were pretty limited i didn't really believe that i could ever see god face to face i mean that was just beyond my ability to think that that could be possible because i was taught that it wasn't possible you know if you see god face to face you die yes so so from that perspective it was like okay i've just got to go back to basics and initially for me that was okay where do i start well i start where i'm comfortable i'll start in the bible so i will just meditate on this verse i'll just think about this first i will mull this verse over i will create a space for this verse to speak to me i didn't study it i didn't get a concordance i didn't do any things i would have normally done i just spoke the verse to myself so i spoke it out loud to myself quietly slowly word by word and paused on each word and gave space for the spirit of god to speak to me about what i was reading and the words i was speaking and literally well eventually i began to discern thoughts which were not my own and that's how it began thoughts in my mind which weren't my thoughts they were the spirit communicating with me in thought and those thoughts were of course words concepts ideas you know which became more and more clear the more i relaxed i got about it and eventually i could do that in any verse in the bible and it would be living and alive to me because i learned to meditate and slow down my analytical study focus to i'm just going to ponder this until some truth gets revealed from it and eventually that led on to okay perhaps maybe i can just talk to god then rather than talk to god through the bible so that became the next step and i didn't know how to do that you know it was another step which was like i'd never heard god speak to me like you know in my me talking to him you know and actually even responding in some way so again i just started simply i'm gonna imagine jesus has actually sat opposite me in a chair and i'm gonna talk to him now i never thought about seeing him i just chose that well he's there he's everywhere he's going to be here so i'll speak to him and ask him something and see if if i can hear what he says and to start with i felt really awkward and that was quite a sort of almost embarrassing thing as i'm talking to an empty chair type of thing but in raj i got over myself and i began to the same thing happened his thoughts filled my mind he conversed he communicated he spoke to me as thought just as he promised to my sheep will hear my voice i just gave him the opportunity to speak him whereas before i was doing all the speaking and i wasn't listening because i was praying can you do this can you do that can you bless that person can you bless this person can you bless this can you do that can you deal you know i never gave him a chance to speak to me because i didn't believe he would so i just spoke fill up the space with me speaking you know so as meditation is really when you begin to come pull back from driving the conversation and begin to just listen by thinking about something about god you know and then maybe having a thought just to ask him something you know it was very simple my initial conversations were very simple is there anything you want to speak to me about is there anything you want to show me is there anything that you can reveal to me you know and i learned to tune into those conversations and i still do you know that's primarily the way i i engage and have those um encounters and experiences you know is listening to him encounter me eventually that developed into a more visual thing of having a visual expectation of seeing him because i never really thought about seeing him you know but once i heard him and that became something which was very you know normal for me then he took me into a visual perspective by opening that realm up i never thought about visual visualization you don't do visualization when you come from a brethren background you don't need meditation either because it's all weird stuff so i had to learn and eventually saw well lots of people in the bible had visions or saw saw god you know so well why not me and i then he took me into being able to engage jesus in a visual way but that's not primarily how i engage normally although you could say it's just as visual it's just i know what's going on i know what i'm hearing i know what i'm experiencing um and because information is the same whether it's visual or auditory or in any sense of feelings or introduction it's just impulses electrical impulses the brain interprets spiritual impulses same as physical ones i have had experiences um but they're not um consistent so uh that's why i asked this question yeah i mean i guess i give myself the space every day okay yeah every day i prioritize that space with god yeah so it's more likely to happen the more time you prioritize to it yeah um one uh other question is how would you advise someone who's trying to overcome fear aside from you know deliverance uh to overcome fear it depends really on what type of theory talking about this irrational fear fear or just fear of fear of you know this whole pandemic thing and you know losing a job not having enough money or your kids going you know off the wire yeah sure again i think it's down to me perfect love casts that fear if i know god has perfect love i trust god has perfect love then i'm going to seek him first and therefore i don't need to fear yeah because seek first the kingdom and don't worry you don't need to worry because fear really is is an expression it's the emotion you get when you worry you know you're meditating on negative things that's really what fear is it's negative meditation so i substitute negative meditation with positive meditation i don't let fear fill my mind i fill it with positive good thoughts of god's god provision god's blessing god's protection i trust him and i tell him i trust him every day and so for me that means that i give him the seat of rest and the government of my life by choice every day so i abdicate from having to sort out all the problems of whether my children will or won't or whether i'll get a job or whether i work i abdicate from my the responsibility of trying to do that myself and i choose to trust him to be my provider to be my protector to be the one who's going to guide me and direct me without me having to do it myself in my own strength and obviously the more closely you're intimate with god the easier it is to trust him well that's what i had to get to a point where i had to abandon my own understanding and my own way of doing things you know and that was a point where you know going through a process where well do i trust god yeah of course i do to ah i trust him when i understand and when i know when i don't understand what i don't know then i'm gonna lean back to my understanding because i'm now not trusting him so sometimes things happen that are beyond my capability to understand but i still trust him so you know i'm you go through things in life that are not the way you want it to go and in those things there you question god how can this be happening to me what have i done wrong is usually the thought is there anything i need to do to to make a lens is there anything i need to do to put this right because you all automatically we descend into the negative yeah and sometimes there are things that happen which are beyond our ability to control them it's like if someone chooses to do something horrible to you you can't stop them you know what i mean you can't take away their free will if they choose to reject you or if they choose to betray you or abandon you or whatever they might choose to do you're only responsible for your reaction to what they've done you can't make them not do it and you can't manipulate and control them into not doing it and neither can god but even within terrible things that happen to us god is faithful and god will never leave us or forsake us and he will always try to bring good out of every situation if we let him and it's our letting him which is the issue because if we start to try and again do this stuff ourselves and figure it out and work it out and come to a solution and try and come up with some strategy of way of doing dealing with the situations we'll end up really weary um and struggle and sometimes you know i've learned to accept that which i can't change even though i want to change it and i might go to the courts at heaven and try and find out if there's something i can change yeah like you know i'm but sometimes i just got to accept that person has chose to do that what's my response well i'm going to choose to forgive them and release them and bless them because that's my responsibility now can god restore or redeem a situation yes but it's when a person comes into alignment with what god's desire is for that situation that then that can take place it's not going to take place just because i want it to take place i can't make someone do what i want that's manipulation god doesn't do that so i can't and you know in situations in life particularly when it comes to relationship situations when people are doing stuff that you'd rather they didn't or and it's affecting you in a negative way you gotta accept that sometimes you just have to trust god and it might not work out the way you want it to work out but you can still trust god that you're going to bring good out of it you know and there are a lot of people going around who have found god's goodness in the midst of terrible situations disasters catastrophes you know situations of grief and sorrow that he carries our grease in our sorrows you know and we'd all rather they wouldn't didn't have any grease or sorrows to carry you know it's like but life isn't like that because people are involved so sometimes you just have to accept this is happening what what do i do now that doesn't mean that you don't you shut down and you don't have emotions and you deny what's going on because that doesn't help anyone you just suppress don't suppress the emotions but engage god with them if you're sad engage god in the sadness and you can still have joy and you can still be grateful even in the midst of loss even in the midst of sad sadness and hardship and different situations and we have a tendency to to fight for stuff and there are some things obviously we shouldn't give up on um but if we are dependent on other people for the outcome of a situation we can get frustrated and disappointed because they are controlling us by what they can do we can only be responsible for what we can do and of course god can give us strategies to do things and he can show us things that can maybe change a situation or help in a situation but ultimately it's still down to other people of how they respond to us and some people don't respond well you know i'd love for everyone to love me but they don't you know and but god does so in emotional situations i am not going to look to people to meet my emotional needs because they then will control me i know that i'm loved by god and that makes it easier to accept that others don't necessarily always love me and even those who i would love to love me may not and or may choose that they don't want to so i have to make sure that i'm i am loved and know i'm loved and accepted by god and my security and my identity comes from him not other people and then the power someone else has over me is limited it doesn't mean they don't can't affect me because of course if someone's horrible or betrays you or lets you down or disappoints you or does something really you know that's not very nice then of course you're going to feel something about that and you're going to feel her you know and of course her isn't is a reaction to being her when someone does something hurtful he is going to hurt but but jesus can help us the father can help us through the her can heal us from the hurt can restore us from what's happened in a way that if we trust him we can go through a situation and still feel loved and accepted and joyful in him even though situations around us may be anything but you know and i've you know i've had to go through situations like that and i'm sure there are other there are future situations that i will go through in which i have to trust in his loving kindness and he's trustworthy he's faithful and he's never going to let me down but that doesn't mean everything is necessarily going to work out the way i want it to because there's always a bigger picture and sometimes people are just people yeah and they do things which i would rather they didn't do to me or to others um you know when you know my son-in-law committed adultery and you know left my daughter i'd rather he hadn't had done that yeah you know he would it would be like i didn't want her to go through that suffering and that pain and the heartache and the children the grandchildren go for all of that and the family break up and divorce awesome all of the negative emotions that are associated with that of course i would have not wanted him to go through it but i can't control my son-in-law or what he does you know it's beyond my and god can't either and i think sometimes people well why did you allow them to do that to me god well god is not going to stop someone doing something he's probably working to try and help them not choose not to do that but he's not going to control them and manipulate them into doing that so we have to then figure out what am i going to do so i had to choose to forgive and release my son-in-law otherwise i would be bitter right and i would be affected by it how did you help her overcome the trauma did she find that experiencing god or did she need you the father to father her it was very difficult because she's not somebody who who receives that very well okay so i i was there for her we were there for her yeah he knew that we loved her that we accepted her that we were not judging her um but we were there for her and the children we helped out in various ways practically yeah as well as she knew our love was there yeah and you know she she also is quite self-analytical so she she sort of you know initially went through the emotions and all of the things and everything like that um and then i think decided to move on you know it was like okay i i can't change this situation and so i need to move on from it yeah yeah and you know found somebody else effectively now again you know sometimes that's done out of reaction and out of the need for somebody and you know i would not necessarily advise people to jump into another relationship immediately off the back of another one and all of that but you can't control your children and you can only be there for them and no matter what she does it's not going to affect how i love her right because it's unconditional do i agree with all my children's life choices no at all but i love them unconditionally in spite of and i would hope that they know that i'll be there no matter what yeah all them and and you know how can i do that well we do that in the way in which we're wired to do it you know am i going to be probably over emotional you know crying on their shoulder and probably not because that's not who i am yeah you know but i would know i would make sure that they knew that i'm there for them if i they need help if they need anything if they need that someone to talk to if they need someone practically to help them then i'm there you know and so depending on people's love languages you know and how people express love and how that works then you know we we try and find a way to communicate it to people in a way that they can receive or understand you know which is not easy you know i mean emotional situations are not easy and going through them is not easy and without god it's really difficult and i've been through them without god in the sense of not really knowing how to experience what god wanted me to experience yeah and i've been them with some of them through god with god you know and and i know which i'd rather i prefer knowing that god is for me and god loves me and god god's there for me no matter what you know and knowing that actually my identity and my security comes from god and not what other people think you know other people make judgments on you depending on the way they view things and the way they might have perceived things to be so some people make a judgment on me because my daughter got divorced you know well why didn't you this that and the other or why didn't you get her to forgive him well yeah you can only forget you can only forgive people it's a choice but if people don't want to be reconciled you can't make someone be right i couldn't make my son-in-law be reconciled even though i talked to him i sat down with him i talked to him i showed him i told him look we're not judging you you know we don't want you to you know but but is to see and you know and there's always two sides to every situation isn't there so you know i'm not saying my daughter was purely innocent in the whole situation it's like there's things people are you know sometimes they don't they struggle relationally you know but people make judgments based on what they see on the external without knowing right and so people might look at me and make a judgment on things that happen in my life or things that will happen in my life and then they will oh well you know well he says he can do this why hasn't he changed that why haven't he made this happen why isn't he legislated in heaven and stopped this happening yeah there are things you just can't yeah you know if someone chooses to to do something you can't stop them you know but you can deal with how it affects you and you can make sure you do not allow it to bring hot bittershit bitterness or resentment or unforgiveness in your own life when someone does something that you have to then deal with you know and you know and i would never judge on someone you know there are people i know you know christian people ministers who have gone through difficult situations where partners have left them and you know all sorts of terrible things have happened and it's just like i'm not gonna judge you know i'm not gonna make a judgment on what's happened to someone else because i don't know what they're going through or what's happened but i'm gonna think the best of them you know that's how i would deal with it with somebody else you know i mean recently i mean john crowder who you know is a very well known guy within the mystic community whatever his son committed suicide and i heard him talking about it you know online the other day obviously heartbroken still grieving but honoring god and blessing god for being there for him with him in that situation i can only imagine what that must be for your son to commit suicide but how i mean the the horrible things people have written about him judging him and mocking him eve on online oh you talk about this and now look at you you know this must be your fault you brought up your son this way he couldn't have known god's love because i mean horrible horrible horrible things people do when people go through trauma some people are just horrible because they make judgments rather than loving you know it's like when i heard that happen my heart went out i don't know john crowder and i don't have a relationship with him to communicate with him yeah but my heart went out to him and it was just like god be with him help helping through this terrible situation because he must be heartbroken yeah i know what would happen you know what i would feel if one of my children did that yeah i mean it was horrible but but some of the abuse that peop you know the internet is so bad for that type of thing yeah you know and he's just like well hey you know i would never make a judgment on something that on the surface appears one way or another because hey i'm never going to do that because i would not want people to do that to me but on the flip side i know that god loves that person whether they seem to be in the right or seem to be in the wrong god loves them and therefore i cannot love them because they've done something i might disagree with or i don't understand what went on yeah what i do understand is that is a terrible situation for anyone to go through and any sense of loss of a child or a spouse or a parent or even a friend that happens is a is a grief and sorrow situation that god obviously wants to be there for and i'm not gonna you know i would never want to judge someone going through that in a negative way and like well well they must be this or they must be that or well they must have deserved it or they must have done something for that to happen in their lives and that's what people were saying you know john crowder must have some hidden sins a terrible disgusting thing to say you know only his son must have been in terror a terrible state to have made that decision that's right let's have grace and mercy for those that do things and those who i and there will be those who are saying oh you know he's gonna go to hell and this that and the other no he's not you know whatever state of mind he was in at that moment does not reflect god's love for him or any relationship with god that we might have had and we've just got to see that bad things happen sometimes and they're outside of our control but how we respond to it is not you know and that is where i think our relationship with god and knowing god's unconditional love can help us through difficult times and sad times and times that are where things happen which we wouldn't want them to happen you know and i think let's treat people the way we would like to be treated and the way god treats us you know if i'm in pain and sorrow god is not hiding from me he's right there with me in the midst of it and i can draw on him when sometimes you know it's like the picture of the footprints in the sand well where were you god well i was carrying you and sometimes we've just got to trust and allow god to carry us because sometimes this situations are really really hard you know it's that it's that point where i find that i know i can trust god you know and i have trusted him and he's never let me down that doesn't mean that people haven't but he hasn't you know you know and he's such a wonderful loving father and he always wants the best for me and if something terrible happens he will still try and bring something good out of that terrible situation and redeem it for me even though at the time i might struggle with all of that you know he he is there for me you know for there for all of us you know are you familiar with um jeremiah johnson here in the united states yeah i was i i read sort of obviously i was following somewhat of all of the prophetic stuff that was going on because i know he was you know he repented for the trump yeah oh yeah he was treated horrendously oh my god he said these were spirit-filled people saying that they were going to kill him yeah oh yeah i know and the apostolate council of prophets got together they've released a statement um regarding what true profits are and basically in a ba back doorway you know they've they'll are um that you know validated him it's you know the the way we measure yeah and profits is not what they're doing oh absolutely not and you know it was horrendous it was yeah his whole family was yeah oh yeah death threat i know i read his response and it caused him basically to withdraw from it all that's right like this this is just if this is what it's like i don't want him you know and and i you know i honor him for what he did because a lot of people didn't do what he did that's right they didn't own up and said i got this wrong and they're still actually not admitting they got it wrong and they're still clinging on to oh august something's going to happen in august i mean just work for the next election yeah because they would not own that they could be fallible and get it wrong you know and so he did and look at what happened now i can imagine now a lot of other people looking and thinking oh i i think i'm just going to keep my head down right right because i'm even if i know i'm wrong maybe if this is what happens when you come out and you you admit that you got it wrong and you're treated that way you know how what does that show for us being brothers and sisters and love that's right it's horrendous isn't it revealed the church more than anything yeah i know and and the world looks on at that and thinks why would i want to get involved with those sort of people because honestly christians are so willing to backstab others i mean i've never found that in a in a working environment i mean i worked in a hospital for 18 years i never ever found anybody wanted to do anything bad i didn't say we didn't fall out at times or i have different opinions but bottom line is i i they never said anything bad about me or undermined my character or i mean they just didn't stab me in the back christians do it all the time it just things christians seem to think they're entitled to judge and criticize and do whatever it's bizarre yeah bizarre and that whole you know jeremiah johnson thing chris valetra had the same thing when he tried to you know then people tried to convince him to withdraw his statement and all this stuff and it's just like it's just like how can we treat people like that yeah who are actually part of supposedly one body one family yeah that we will do that to each other but then you get that so far too so yeah but but you know but it was a very inflamed situation people had invested so much into putting their trust into a political system that they were unwilling to back down from putting their trust in the system and therefore if anyone sort of undermined their position they felt justified into calling them traitors and making death threats i mean it's horrendous seemingly beyond but then that's what the religious and political spirit will do that was so much entrenched in political and religious stuff you know jesus warned of the 11 of herod and pharisees and it's horrible political and religious spirit it's just so horrible to be in it when it's happening and what's going on you know and i you know when i read you know what jeremiah johnson put out and his his statements you know it was oh wow this is so bad i felt so sorry you know for him having the courage to come out like that and then be vilified and oh yeah horrible horrible horrible you know but you know it is we all have to we all have to actually go through things in life and i think we just need to you know be generous and merciful amen gracious towards people who are going through things we don't understand we don't have all the information about and you can guarantee it's not as simple you know as what it appears on the surface and therefore let's let's be gracious and merciful as god is because god is so much more gracious and merciful than people yeah and you know we all need it we all need mercy and grace you know because we will always get things wrong we all things will always happen and we need mercy and grace from others but primarily we need it from god and if we receive it from god that helps us not to necessarily need it from others as much because if you're relying on others then others will let you down one way or another at times so best to know we're accepted and loved by god and then if we get judged and criticized and by others then we know god's love and it helps us through that if we keep our heart right you know amen okay right i'm gonna leave it there nice uh nice talking to you today nice seeing you and i'll catch up with you thank you so much all right okay
