My Worst Load! STAY AWAY From Here! A Few Things to Know About Port Deliveries | Non-CDL Hotshot

yo what is good y'all man welcome back to this video uh if you're new my name is tim so today man is the day i go home bro and i've been kind of enjoying the road but i've been missing home missing my wife so today i go home man and i'm hoping i'm in bastrop louisiana right now i did a quick load yesterday didn't really vlog it man i can't vlog every load man but i'm hoping i'm in bastrop louisiana which is on the northern side of louisiana and it's about six hours away from houston so i'm hoping i can get a load to head into houston uh which i think i should be able to man so stay tuned for that man that's pretty much what this video is going to be about possibly getting another load and heading back home so welcome back and stay tuned y'all [Music] all right y'all so my dispatcher is not finding too much uh heading to you know where i'm going in houston not too much afraid at least coming out of you know the louisiana area that i'm at uh he did find a vehicle that's going from monroe to freeport texas monroe louisiana to freeport texas it's paying like 200. uh it'll cover gas it's end route going to houston so it's not too bad so i'm going to get that one and uh hopefully he finds another vehicle or something i can put on there to take it down and make the trip worth it i mean everything you know in route to home so why not you know even if it covers fuel so that's what i'm doing y'all stay tuned uh see y'all at that pickup location take this thing off all right child i just got to the dealership it's my first time doing a car man first time for everything right so went inside got the keys for the vehicle i'm just checking on my rate confirmation um there's no paperwork they said so i'm just wanting to make sure about the bill of lading uh how is all that handled yeah man i'm about to probably set the camera up for you guys and y'all watch me load it man for the first time i got eight foot ramps hopefully you know it doesn't bottom out if anything i'll probably lift up the uh the trailer a little bit and it's going to the port yeah man let's get it done [Music] [Music] me [Music] took longer than expected i'm loaded up i'm ready to go got about a five five to six hour drive i'm probably going to end up in houston tonight because they stop accepting deliveries around 3 30 4 o'clock at the port where this is going in freeport texas so i'm probably gonna stay at home tonight and early in the morning make a rundown it's about an hour away to drop it off and then i'll be back home and that'll be it for like a week so i'll see you guys on the road y'all i am home not the home y'all seen me in my first video though i've moved since then i actually moved right before hitting the road this is my home right here man until we get our house we're in the process of looking for a house and oh yeah you don't see me in the car like what's going on here yeah what's up man drop that and give me a hug i can't y'all meet my wife she don't seem too excited to see me i literally thought you were inside uh let me put this away all right well this has been my number one support y'all we always together and this three weeks has been it's the first time we're away from that one for that long yeah so all right man i'm about to just take my bags out and then go park all right y'all i gotta go off duty ah give us a good day get faster she excited you excited you excited hope yes yes yeah you see here in a minute get back i got my sucker keep pushing i've been calling for the room for a long time you missed it look like we still good and we still safe y'all hey good morning you guys i'm getting ready to hit the road man and go drop this car off down in freeport texas uh stayed uh stayed home last night man right about be on a fence is an rv park i know in the first video that i put out my welcome video i was at home i was in a house we were renting that house at least had just ended and um we were pretty much getting ready to move so we're in an rv right now in our rv until we purchase our home which is in the next few months so this is a car man i'm about to do my pre-trip and you know finish up this uh finish up this load and drop off and i'm gonna be taking a break for a week i've been on the road for about going on a month man the 12th with me would make a month so uh it's pretty close so i'm gonna see you guys on the road yeah i don't know man i know it was gonna be like this man it's my first time to a port and bro this line rap all the way around man they send you to the back you go uh get in line and then you get a ticket or something like that with a number all this one one uh only for one car man that's a nice ass truck but yeah this is crazy man i don't know i don't know if i'm gonna stay bro i may i may just come back trying to figure out what you doing man i think you're trying to turn around oh that's close [Music] [Music] that's dope bro this is fine [Music] icon 900 i said it's clean man i'm telling you trying to get in line [Music] okay we moving bro we're making some movements that's what's up all right so i'm sitting in line man and i didn't know what to do when i came because it's my first time at a port so i went in and made me turn around there's usually a person in a vehicle that kind of drives around and um they they're the ones that give you the ticket to get in and so i just stopped her man and and got some information says usually they send in about you know 10 cars at a time and i ask like what am i looking at what kind of day am i looking at to you know be out here because you know things like this you got to now calculate into your you know your your cost of and what you're getting paid for the load so she said i'm gonna be here for a couple hours man um don't fall asleep if you fall asleep uh you know they'll go around you and it's not like you can go back in line she's cool though she's got snacks come here with your paperwork already you know ready to go printed i didn't have anything printed unfortunately because i had to have self emailed to me while i was on the road she charges five dollars to print a page so i'm losing on that just a quick heads up if y'all are new and you are going to a port make sure to have all your paperwork on hand uh make sure you come with snacks come at the top of the morning man she even stated that you know she's come out here and she's seeing guys sleeping overnight to be here top of the morning man this is crazy i'll keep y'all updated man i'm hopefully this you know line moves fast i've already moved up like 10 cars so uh it's just a waiting game i got here around i don't even recall but whatever i'll be i say i've been here for probably like 40 minutes already 30 40 minutes oh my god bro like i'm still here i'm never coming back here again never the process man you get you wait at the gate well you wait outside to get they give you a number this is that freeport at least give you a number to pay i mean that number to uh get in you get in you pull in go to the customer service office wait in another line go inside give them paperwork do all that and then you wait again which i'm doing right here i guess this is the road to get unloaded the car is unloading right now and then i move up and unload so i'm gonna give them the paperwork and kind of verify that [Music] [Music] y'all i'm finally out of there man it's 3 45 i got here like around nine o'clock uh yeah i probably won't do another port drop again never again bro the waiting and the the way they got the system set up here is just really messed up man you got people cutting in front of people they're not doing nothing about it this is the port in freeport man i had one car to drop and it took me all day anyways man i'll see y'all on the field oh i said don't get hurt say hi babe she always got to do something extra i'm back y'all dropping off at the storage man i'm taking my week taking my week off to build my boo thing quality time important yep quality almost 20 years together and i don't think we've ever been apart for more than two weeks yeah it's a wrap man it's a wrap for this four weeks three three and a half whatever it was man but um trailers unhooked staying here for about a week and uh i'll get back on the road so i'm gonna end this video right here if you guys are new to the channel
