hi everybody my name is Bree and welcome back to my channel breezarts [Music] all right you guys so I am sitting outside enjoying some of this absolutely beautiful summer weather but that doesn't mean that I am not thinking about fall and with fall just around the corner I thought that I would do a compilation video of my top 10 fall DIYs from last year now not only are these my favorite fall DIYs but a lot of these are my absolute favorite DIYs that I have ever done you guys know how much I love fall and I can't wait for you to see these projects so with all of that being said you guys sit back relax grab a cup of tea or a glass of wine and let's get into the first DIY and here we go with DIY number 10. okay this hexagon Decor I got at the Dollar Tree it's so cute and you know you know that I saw pumpkins when I saw this so I'm just taping off the frame it's kind of raised on this decor here because we're gonna paint the middle so going around and uh taping off all of the sides and I'm just going to use my white chalk paint and with the magic of YouTube uh there we go all painted up and ready to go now I did have to do three even maybe I even did four coats just to get rid of all of that lettering and then using uh the fall paper pack that I got at Michael's I'm just going to cut out these hexagons so I'm just going to trace out uh the hexagon on each one of these pieces of paper and now of course when I trace them out they're going to be too big so I do have to trim them down in order to fit into the frames but that was really simple it was just trial and error so just tracing each one here we're just going to cut out a hexagon out of each one of these and then I will trim them down to fit and using some Mod Podge yes Mod Podge it is not Mod Podge you guys Mod Podge the healthy coat there and putting my scrapbook paper into the center pushing it down really really hard and then going over top with another layer of mod podge just to make sure that the scrapbook paper is nice and adhered into the center of each one of these hexagons here so Mod Podge put in my scrapbook paper and if you guys don't have this particular scrapbook paper you can use whatever scrapbook paper you want to um you know different fall things you can put stencils inside you can use rub on transfers if you want to like anything you want always just for inspiration and again using some of those Twigs from that package that I got at the Dollar Tree and my big noggin is of course in the way here I'm just hot gluing the peduncles on the top of each one of my little pumpkins here that I've created look at how cute I love this it's so freaking cute and then I tied a little finger bow here and I just glued that onto the top as well now I didn't show it I took one of these uh plaques that I got off of Amazon I will try to link it down below um and I painted it with my white chalk paint and here I'm just using my sanding block just to rough it up just a little bit on the edges there and now I cut this decal off on my Cricut and it says Welcome to our patch the welcome is right out of Cricut design space to our patch is Courier ones just so you know and taking some twine I am just going to wrap that around one side of this little plaque here hot glue on the back and stick it down there we go oh and use my lighter just to get rid of all those little fuzzies that are all over that twine and good to go so now I wanted to uh adhere this to the pumpkins but I wanted to raise them up just a little bit so I am grabbing a couple of the tumbling tower blocks and I'm just going to hot glue those on an angle um on each one of those side pumpkins there and then hot glue our sign on top there we go oh my goodness it this is so cute this is so freaking cute it would look wonderful with any colors any scrapbook paper anything and Final Touch just using one of these laser cut out leaves from Dollar Tree hot gluing that right behind the sign and this DIY is all done how cute would that be in a tiered tray you guys or just like on your mantel or whatever like that is adorable I absolutely love it [Music] thank you [Music] and moving into DIY number nine and look at this isn't this so cute I love this love love love this pumpkin so what we're gonna do is we are using a Dollar Tree sign I'm sorry I did not film the front of it but that's the one that I'm using the Christmas one and I took the wonderful off of the the front there took out the Staples in the hanger sanded it down rock and roll good to go and so here I am just going to paint up the back the blam with my white chalk paint and I only did one coat it's a very very rough coat you can kind of see the streakies because we're making like a rustic looking kind of fence right on the back here so I'm using my sanding block and just you know roughing it up a little bit and then I'm using my square that I got at the Dollar Tree and a pencil and I'm just creating the lines in like the wood right and uh going all the way across there with my pencil I've seen this technique use like multiple times on a whole bunch of different channels and watch this so now I'm just gonna smudge that pencil look at how those lines come out it's insane look at that it looks like it's actually wood like come on now come on Love It and so here is a grapevine wreath that I got at the Dollar Tree and this absolutely stunning gorgeous ribbon I got at Michael's last year it's so beautiful but of course you can use any ribbon you want to you guys and we're just gonna make a very simple two looped bow so I went around I believe it was four times like with four folds cut it off and then I am going to grab some lace ribbon that I got at the Dollar Tree and I'm just going to unravel this sure why I left all of this in the video there we go and just find the end clip off the end [Laughter] oh goodness Brie what are you doing and so just scrunching up the middle of that bow and using that lace to make the center give it a nice tug and tie it into a knot and having those Tails fall down in the center there and then I do fluff this multiple times during this during this DIY you guys but you know floof the bow that is some pretty amazing bow fluffage and so Finn all right and what I'm going to do here is we are going to first I do use a little bit of hot glue there just to keep the bow um on the wreath there and then I am going to take some of my uh twine that I got at the Dollar Tree and we are just going to go around the center and actually around the wreath as well just to secure that bow on there really really good so I you know just attach it it's been I think I go around three times four times four times there we go and of course you know stop to do some flu fishing I tie that in a knot on the back and now your bow is nice and secure if you don't want to use that hot glue don't like I just you know put it there so that it wouldn't like flopsy around while I was doing the twine but if you don't want to use it don't use it oh and here's fluffage number 650. there you go that bow is floofed so I am going to out [Music] I'm floofing again girl wait till the end and so now I am just going to take some of my Lambs Ear now one of my lovely subscribers did send me some of the slams there is from Walmart I have also gotten it off of Amazon I will try to link that down in the description box if you guys are interested especially we in Canada I've never seen it in a Canadian Walmart um I don't know why it's so different than the states but man like oh I wish we had the same things it's crazy and so I just attached those uh Lambs here to the wreath and now I'm just using a paint stick that I got at Dollarama and my miter shears and my miter shares would not cut this but it did give me like a good indent so I could snap it right off and this is going to be our PUD Uncle because this is a cute little pumpkin obviously and if you want to you know you can paint this peduncle I just wanted to leave it the natural wood color I thought it was really really pretty and so I'm just kind of positioning it on there seeing exactly where I want it to go and I am going to hot glue that directly to the board and there we go look at that oh it's so cute and then just a little bit of hot glue at the bottom and we'll put a little bit of hot glue at the top to secure that wreath down and that's it for this you guys I think it's so freaking cute let me know what you think [Music] okay [Music] [Music] all right you guys I really hope that you're enjoying today's video and I just wanted to pop in here really quick just to remind you that if you like Home Decor on a budget stuff that looks super high-end like you bought it in a high-end store but you made it yourself and you got most of the things from the dollar store then you have come to the right place so make sure that you tap that like button make sure you subscribe and make sure that your notification Bell is set to all so that you don't miss any of my videos and of course I want to give a shout out to all of my Breezers out there all of my old subscribers my new subscribers and everybody in between I love you guys so much if it wasn't for you I would definitely not be here so with all of that being said let's get back into that countdown here we go guys DIY number eight so we are going to start with some of this uh nautical rope from the Dollar Tree and I'm just gonna snip off the stuff and I'm going to start by wrapping the Rope around itself and hot gluing it now the The Strand or the length that I started with was four inches because I wanted to make sure that this is a oval shape and not too circular so I'm just going to take my hot glue go all the way around and just hot glue it to itself here multiple times so round and round and around and you know you can do this whatever size you want whatever shape you want um but I just wanted this to be you know oval oval shaped so there we go last little strand there and then I am going to take my scissors and I'm going to cut the excess off at an angle so that it kind of follows the shape of the curve of the oval so that you can't really see where the end is so you can see there cut nicely perfect and I made three of those all the same size and I'm going to take my lighter here and just burn off all of those those fuzzies just to make sure that the Rope is nice and clean and this also gives it a really nice color too when you burn off all of those you know strands and fuzzies and all that jazz and I will do that to all three so I got these tag shaped signs they were from Summer but you can find them all the time at the Dollar Tree in different like at Christmas time at you know in Easter and whatnot um so I'm just taking off the tags and then what I'm going to do is I am going to eventually paint these up with my watch open just like that and now I'm taking some mod podge and I'm gonna put a fairly thin coat like not too too thin but thin enough because we are going to um decoupage some tissue paper onto this piece here now if you've been watching me for a while you guys know that this tissue paper is my absolute favorite it is gorgeous and it's perfect for this project so when I'm putting the the tissue paper down I'm just lightly tapping it down so that it does not tear if you rub it really hard you will definitely tear your tissue paper now I've also seen some creators like Kathy Joe she uses the Saran Wrap method when she puts down her tissue paper onto mod podge and that reduces wrinkling of the the tissue paper but honestly I don't mind the wrinkling I think it gives it you know some texture and makes it look not so perfect so but you guys do you whatever works for you and here I'm just sanding all of the excess off on the edges there make sure you're using downward motions with your sounding block and then I just poked out the hole there at the top now check out this absolutely gorgeous scrap paper that I got from Michael's it is stunning like gorgeous now I did get it last year and this is the the one that we're going to use this beautiful green but hopefully you can find it again this year if not you can use any scrapbook paper that you want I just really really liked this green to go with that tissue paper so I cut it down to size and now again I'm just putting a layer of mod podge onto the sign here this is a little bit of a thicker layer than what I used with the tissue paper um because it's scrapbook paper right so it's really really thick and so I just put that down make sure you smooth it down nice and secure and then I'm just going to take my sanding block here and I just wanted to distress it down just a little bit I wanted it to look a little bit more rough so I'm just going around the edges you know with my sanding block taking off some of the top layer of the um of the scrapbook paper and just you know scratching it up and giving it a little bit more detail just like that scratch and this is going to be the bottom of our two tags so I only do like that um bottom corner and then I also do a little bit on the top corner and of course just you know take my my paper towel and just wipe off any of the Dust and then put another coat of mod podge over top just to make sure that it's nice and sealed in and so here you can see look at with my ropes I'm making a pumpkin how cute is that how cute is that how cute is that so I just marked off where the top tag is going to lay and then put some hot glue on and then just secure those into place and now I'm just going to um hot glue my rope ovals onto the sign here I'm having some trouble with my hot glue gun I was having trouble with my glue gun this whole entire time crafting you guys I don't maybe I need a new one I'm not sure I really like this one though because it's cordless and it's it gets really hot and it's really great but I might have to replace it and then this is just a piece of driftwood from a package that I got at the Dollar Tree to make the stem or as we know is called a peduncle that is the stem of a pumpkin you guys a peduncle and here I just cut out um a decal on my Cricut and it says hey there pumpkin the font is called American typewriter and just put that into place there look at how cute oh look at how cute this is I freaking love it and then I got this ribbon from Dollarama it's very very pretty but you know you can use any burlap ribbon you want you can use whatever you want to make a hanger for your little sign here so I'm just creating this hanger and then this project is done you guys it's so cute it's so pretty I love that pumpkin let me know down in the comments what you think oh I think it is so freaking cute [Music] thank you [Music] and jumping right into DIY number seven all right so I got this Canada Day Decor from the Dollar Tree I'm sure you're down in the States you would have something very very similar to this um but I'm just using my heat gun and I took the tag off of there and we're just gonna use our white chalk paint and oh [Music] paint it up all white everything the whole entire thing but I am going to change my mind so just stay tuned and I got this beautiful placemat this is from Dollarama it's gorgeous it has all of these beautiful leaves on it um I love it so much and it's made of felt so it's very very it's very cool and so I'm just cutting it down to size so that it will fit inside my frame here and I just basically you know eyeballed it it does not have to be perfect um and you can see here like then I have to trim it down just a little bit more and then just a little bit more until it fits perfectly and so I just use my measuring mat to measure off the rest of the of the leaves there where I needed to cut so that the line was really straight I love my measuring mat you guys know this you need to get one to you know to be able to craft it's like it's amazing and so now that it fits just use some hot glue and we're just going to glue this placemat into the center of our frame here just like that isn't it so pretty ugh ugh gorgeous gorgeous now if you can't find this placemat you guys just use some scrapbook paper like just use whatever you can get your hands on again this is all just for inspiration and so I got this little pumpkin this is also from Dollarama I got it last year um but you know the Dollar Tree has a ton of different kinds of pumpkins that you can use for this DIY and of course just taking off all of that horrendous horrible glitter I wish I wish Dollarama Dollar Tree stop putting glitter on stuff glitter is awful and it's a pain so anyways took off all the glitter cleaned it all up and then I'm using that same scrapbook paper that I used in the first DIY there and I'm just going to turn this over and then create the shape of my pumpkin here just kind of trace it out now of course this is not going to it's going to be too big right so then I just really eyeballed it I lost some footage of course and so you can see there that I painted the pumpkin white and then I used my antique wax to paint up the stem and you know it's nice to have those brush Strokes when you're using the antique wax because it makes it look like wood so it worked out really really well and just using some mod podge and we are going to adhere the scrapbook paper to this pumpkin just like that that it looks fantastic and then we are going to go over with another layer of mod podge just to make sure it's nice and secure isn't that so pretty oh my goodness so pretty and dry that up with my heat gun and then I'm going to do the same thing that I did with the other DIY just use my sanding block and just to stress that uh paper down just a little bit now I should have done it the way I did it in the last DIY is do that before I put the layer of mod podge on but I forgot so it still worked it's just it was a little bit more difficult to take to distress it obviously so here you can see okay this is where I changed my mind I didn't like the frame to be all white it just didn't look right to me so I am just going along the top and the outside of the frame with my antique wax to make it look like wood and then I'm just very very lightly going along the edges with my sanding block just to bring out a little bit more Dimension um and just to distress it down just a titch so that it looks like it's a little bit you know more worn and it matches the stem on the pumpkin that's going to go into the center so yeah yeah look at that it looks so much better I like that tell me what you think would you have done that would you have left it white would you have done a different color let me know let me know down in the comments and so I cut this decal out on my Cricut it says hello fall the hello is right out of qriket design space the fall is using the font Yours Truly from Cricut design space as well so I just placed that in the center and then using a laser cut out leaf and a little bow made out of twine and one of these paper flowers from Dollarama I'm just going to glue those to the top of my pumpkin just to give it some detail look how cute look how cute it's so cute I love fall oh my goodness oh pumpkins pumpkins freaking love pumpkins and final step you guys just hot glue that beautiful pumpkin to the center of our piece and we are done that is it and how gorgeous is that oh my goodness it's so so pretty so pretty let me know what you think [Music] [Music] and let's go with DIY number six and so this isn't this so pretty this project is pretty much an exact dupe so I'm so excited to show you how I did it so I am taking this um paper package it's called Farmhouse I got it at Michael's and this pattern of these scrapbook paper is absolutely perfect for this project but of course you guys like when I'm making these things you can use whatever you want and snap you can see here that I printed off on my Cricut using the pen this design that I designed myself in qriket design space and I'm using this eight by eight artist palette from Dollarama and I'm just lining it up here so that I can um cut it out so just tracing around the sides and taking it off my cutting mat there and now I'm just going to use my paper trimmer and cut that out so that it fits on top of my artist palette just like that snipping it off and this design was super easy for me to create but for your convenience you will see here that I will um I'm attaching uh the design that I came up with you can take a screenshot right now if you want to I will also have it on my Instagram and I will post it on my community tab so that you can screenshot it or try to download it whatever you need to do and then you can just use your printer and any kind of paper and you can print it off and so here I am just going to take my antique wax and I'm going to put that all over this artist palette just like so and make sure that you hit the edges with that antique wax as well and so here oh my gosh you guys like did you see the amount of Mod Podge that I just put on that that art is about like what was I thinking I have no idea you do not do not need to use that much Mod Podge so you can see there like I'm taking a whole bunch of it off um just a nice you know even layer and then I'm just taking my hands and really rubbing this down onto the artist palette and then I actually do end up grabbing my little ruler tool here so that it's nice and adhered to my the wood on there there we go isn't it so nice oh my goodness now word to the wise do not put Mod Podge over top you will smudge your ink I tested it before I actually did it and yes you will smudge it it does not need Mod Podge over top and so here I'm taking the jumbo craft sticks from Walmart just cutting those down to size just like that two different sizes just kind of eyeballed it and then whoa did you see that painted them up with white chalk paint [Laughter] and there we go oh so awesome and so here I cut these decals out on my Cricut as well um off the top of my head I do not remember the fonts but I did write them down I will have them down in my description box so it says Autumn Vibes and what I ended up doing like I've I wanted these to pop off but I did not want to use the tumbling tower blocks because they're too thick so I just took some pieces of those um those craft sticks and I cut little pieces and then I am gluing them together so that I can have something to adhere the words to the frame so that they pop off but they're not like too high I just thought that the tumbling tower blocks were just gonna be a little bit too high popping off of this project and this worked perfectly so I'm just using some hot glue and gluing those on just like that make sure they're nice and straight and that is it for this project you guys like it's identical to the inspiration piece theirs is eight dollars I did mine for half price doesn't it look awesome [Music] [Music] and let's go with DIY number five and so we are going to use one of these styrofoam pumpkins from the Dollar Tree and I took off the tag and the peduncle and now I am using a steak knife [Laughter] cutting it in half you know what we use what we can right in our craft rooms clean up our mess blow the rest away and I am going to paint this half of the pumpkin up with my celery chalk paint by Waverly you guys know that I have been loving the greens and the Browns and the neutrals for fall this year but of course you can use whatever color you want and I did have to do three coats of this celery color Now using this plaque from the Dollar Tree I am going to shoveling paint that up using my white chalk paint I'm also going to just take my chippy brush here I wanted to give that little pumpkin just a bit more Dimension so I'm just doing a very dry brush over the entire pumpkin and you can see here that I cut out this stencil on my Cricut it says hello fall that image is directly out of Cricut design space and using my Debbie brush we are going to www dab Moss colored chalk paint for this stencil and then I do peel it off when it's still wet just so that it doesn't pull up any of the paint and then of course weeding that out to reveal the beautiful stencil underneath it came out perfectly this is 813 stencil vinyl from Aura mask so the best stencil vinyl that I have ever used for sure felt that it was just green so again taking my chibi brush with a very very light light hand just going over top just fading that green out just a titch that's all we needed there we go and now I got these little branches from the Dollar Tree of course you can just go out into your yard um and get branches as well to make the peduncle on this pumpkin here so just using some hot glue and we're just gonna hot glue that into place and then taking one of these uh burlap oak leaves also from the Dollar Tree I just snipped off a little piece there and hot gluing that to the back of this pumpkin here and now just taking a teeny little bit of twine making a very simple bow we are going to clip off the ends there at some point fluff of fluff cut off the ends and then we are also going to hot glue that onto our pumpkin look at how cute this looks already like that's a perfect DIY in and of itself and then just hot gluing that to the sign there so cute but no there's more and so I took this Frame it's from a canvas from Dollarama I believe it's an eight by ten I'm pretty sure and I'm just using some of this wired burlap ribbon from Dollar Tree and we're just going to cover the entire frame with this burlap ribbon so you can see here I'm going at the 45 um at the corner of the frame just folded that ribbon over and hot glued that to go along with the seam of the frame there and then just wrapping it around to the back we are going to do that to the entire length of this ribbon across the side so I'm just taking some hot glue pulling it nice and tight and then hot gluing all the way down so hot glue hot glue and make sure that you pull it nice and tight you guys just so that you don't have any wrinkles or anything like that in your burlap ribbon and we're going to go down the entire length and then on the other side same thing doing that 45 degree angle folded that ribbon over and then we're just going to go on the other side hot gluing along and covering this Frame this ends up being so cute and you can do this to pretty much any project where you're using a frame just wrap it with ribbon you can do you like use any ribbon that you want as well I just really loved this burlap ribbon for this particular project but you can do anything your heart desires if you have some cute fall ribbon like with the Buffalo check or like a plaid or something like that you can do the same thing so after the frame is completely covered with the ribbon I'm using these bamboo skewers that I got off of Amazon and I'm just going to cut them down and make kind of like a window so um using my measuring mat and finding the center hot gluing that that bamboo skewer down onto the frame there and then again using the measuring mat making sure everything is nice and straight and centered clipping that off oh get some miter shears too you guys those miter shears are just essential in your craft room for sure and now I just grabbed my staple gun because that plaque is going to go in the center of this and it is quite heavy so I wanted to make sure that those skewers weren't going nowhere so use my staple gun for that and now because one of the skewers is going like behind the other one I had to put a length on either side of that one that's behind just to make sure that everything was level so that there was more surface area for the plaque to sit in like look at that it's so cute oh my goodness I freaking love it and so now final touches I'm using one of these flowers from the Dollar Tree and some Lambs here that I got off of Amazon and I'm just gluing the Lambs here onto the frame in that lower corner there along with this I guess it's a daisy looks like a daisy to me and just filling it in making sure that my eyes are happy with all of those florals and the greenery look at how pretty this is oh my goodness I can't even and if you don't want to do this on the corner you don't have to you know I just felt like it just needed that extra touch but look at how gorgeous this is you guys and we are all done add a hanger and rock and roll [Music] foreign [Music] number four all right you guys so I got these wooden pieces from the Dollar Tree um I think I got them around maybe Easter time or something hopefully you can find them and I'm just going to paint them up with my white chalk paint look at that and so here these puffy stickers I also got from the Dollar Tree they're these beautiful roses and oh my goodness I love how this turned out you guys it's so pretty so I just grabbed two of those puffy stickers and I am taking off the backing now these are actually very sticky I was quite surprised I thought that I would have to use some other adhesive or some hot glue or something like that to get them into place but they're very very sticky so I didn't have to do that and I just placed them in the middle of one of the wood pieces there and just painting them up with my white chalk paint making sure to get into all of the grooves and I did have to do three coats over top of those Roses just to make sure that they were completely covered and now I'm using my antique Wax By Waverly and I'm going to grab a chippy brush here and then dab in there dab off the excess on a paper towel and we're just going to distress these down just a little bit now if you guys don't want to use to use white you color like if you wanted to blur or like off-white a cream color um you could make you could do blue you could any color you want for these would look absolutely gorgeous now if you were wanting to do a color though what I would do is I would then distress over with a white chalk paint to bring out all of the edges so if it was you know if you were using Nantucket blue which is my favorite then I would just distress over with white chalk paint and it would bring out all the of these details so I'm just going around the edges here and you saw that I went over the Roses you see how all of those details just pop after you go over it oh my goodness those girls aren't it's so beautiful and I did hot glue all of those pumpkins together I didn't show it I lost a little bit of footage um but I just hot glued them together and then I put the stem at the top using that same Driftwood that I got from the Dollar Tree so that was my stem and now I'm using this wired cord this is from Dollarama but you can get it at the Dollar Tree and this is what I'm going to use for like the little you know spindly bits that you um that you find on the pumpkins right so I just wrapped it around a pencil to make like the little curly cues and then I'm just going to cut that off and then I am going to wrap it around the stem here just to make sure my length was good it's a little bit short but it's okay and then I just used my pencil again to make another curlicue there and then this wired cord is just awesome because you can position it however you want it's really really easy to work with I love it it's so cute and then I just grabbed some pieces of a hula skirt from Summer with the ruffia and I just tied a very simple knot on there cut off the excess and look at how pretty so if you don't want to do it like as neutral as I've done you can use different colored ribbons at the top like do whatever you want you guys this is just giving you inspiration for this beautiful pumpkin I love it and all I did is just glued some tumbling tower blocks to the bottom to make it a stand and that is it isn't it gorgeous oh my goodness it's so stunning oh [Music] [Music] headed into the top three and look at these beautiful pumpkins aren't they absolutely gorgeous it does say hand-painted swirls we're gonna do things a little bit differently so I found these pieces of scrap wood in my garage they're about what four inches the one is about I don't know 12 inches the other one is like eight inches I'm using celery and Moss from Waverly and oh just wait a second my hands have changed those are Abby's hands actually my daughter she wanted to be part of it and actually she did paint the celery one so I will give her credit for that for sure and so I got these stencils from these ones I believe are from the Dollar Tree and then um these are awesome you can reuse them and they're really easy to peel and stick so I'm using this little swirly kind of flower looking one and this will go on the celery colored block here so I'm just you know trying to figure out where do I want it which way which way which way and there I have decided it will go in that quarter oh but you can see how easily it came off there so just a quick reposition and smooth it down and there we go and now grabbing my white chalk paint and my double brush I am just going to dub dub dub dub dub on this stencil and you can see like I'm using a big dabby brush because I could not find my little one it's obviously much easier and you have more control when you use a small one however I can find mine so the big one it is and it worked just fine just fine and I like using the dabby brushes only because it gives you like it's not full coverage so you know it's a little bit I don't want to say splotchy but it's yeah oh and there Abby is giving me direction as to where to put the next um the next pattern here so I put it up in the other corner you can see and I'm literally just pouncing up and down and uh doing the same thing the words Escape me for a second and look at this perfect it was perfect it's absolutely perfect and so this stencil I got at Dollarama I don't know if they have the same pattern at Dollar Tree or not I haven't seen it but um hopefully they do and if not you can just use the same pattern as you did before and so I'm doing the same thing laying down um dabbing with my dabby brush you can see there that I kind of went over the edges there um with my white chalk paint so I'm just using the Moss color went over top of it fixed it up no problem and then I am just using the stencil over and over again of course I'm letting the paint underneath dry before I use the stencil again over top like this and just pounce up and down pounce up and down and look at that isn't it so pretty I had oh I love how these pumpkins came out you guys and so I have a few of these little knobs that I got at my local thrift store look in those little bags you guys you know that they have a at mine they're all on a wall like hung up and you can find a whole bunch of hardware and stuff like that in those little bags that's where I found these and I think I got like 10 of them for three bucks or something um but I used an E6000 and my hot glue E6000 is for the permanent hold hot glue is for the immediate hold and I'm just attaching these knobs to the tops of my wooden blocks and those are going to be the peduncles for our pumpkins and so I'm using this laser cut Leaf just to embellish a little bit on my pumpkin here this is the tall one and I did a quick finger bow with some twine and some hot glue and place that at the top and then here you can see you know when you get rid of the fuzzies with the lighter that's what I just did there gluing that other bow to the top and that is it for these cute pumpkins aren't they absolutely gorgeous so high-end so beautiful I am seriously in love with these [Music] thank you [Music] foreign the runner-up DIY number two look at this these beautiful pumpkins they're so cute love love love and by the way I will be putting all of the um Pinterest inspired uh channels down in my description box so make sure you check it out so what we're doing here we're taking these plaques from Dollar Tree you could see there I we're gonna cut a line across then we're gonna go down the middle cross and then down the middle because we need two of these plaques to create these pumpkins so you can see there I cut it across and then down the middle and it lines up so I said I cut no my dad cut see there he is he's measuring stuff and cutting stuff and he's very precise down to you know 1 32nd of an inch he was on it thank you so much Dad I love you you're such a great help and so here I am using my antique wax and we're just gonna give all three of these pieces a nice coat using my baby wipe to wipe off the excess here and we're going to go all the way around I do end up doing the back of this as well and now I wanted it to kind of have you know what an ombre effect almost so I am going across the top there with just another coat after the first coat is dry just around the edges you know on the top with that antique wax to kind of you know like it's darker and it kind of Fades down and then I take my sanding block and I am just roughing up the edges bringing out the natural wood color I wanted this pumpkin to look super rustic and oh I just I can't even tell you I can't wait until you see the end result there's oh it's so beautiful and so here I am taking uh my pencil and I'm marking where I am going to drill some holes so I just eyeballed it you guys I didn't feel the need to measure if you want to measure make sure everything is all good you go for it and so I'm just going to grab my power drill drill some pilot holes because I wasn't 100 sure how well this was going to go because I do have to make fairly like big holes uh word to the wise you do not have to drill these pilot holes just use your big drill bit it's all good I kind of did three different sizes of drill bits just to be safe but then um you can absolutely just use a big drill bit and it drills perfectly so here you can see now this is the big drill bit that I'm using here and drill drill drill making all of these holes now the reason why we want to make bigger holes like that you see because we're going to thread some rope so we're going to do the same thing on both of these pieces just like that magical and so here is the uh nautical rope that we're going to use this is from the Dollar Tree there are two different thicknesses this is kind of like the thinner of those two and so we are just going to thread that rope through those holes there to bring all of our pieces together oh my goodness I freaking I freaking love these pumpkin love them they're my favorite thing okay and so you know just threading those through using some hot glue making sure we're attaching those pieces on an angle and then gluing those down so that they stay nice and secure and then I did just cut off a little bit of that excess it doesn't really matter you guys this is the back like if you're super concerned about it you know you could do this much more perfectly than I did I wasn't too worried about it but we are going to do that with all four of the the joiners that or the joints I guess that we're making here just like that and so because I loved the first one so much I did a second one look at how cute this is um my dad cut these for me as well and so um we're gonna do the exact same thing however this one is going to be painted up with my white chalk paint just like that my transitions are getting amazing and I'm just taking a hint um to give this a little bit of distressing and go around it like I use kind of like a curved motion when I was doing that because you know these are pumpkins so we want to kind of give that illusion and then a real ring I did the holes in that one as well and of course thread the Rope through just like I did with that first one now you guys to figure out what I was going to do for the peduncles on these pumpkins took me hours this was trial and error and finally finally I came up with this idea just to use some wired jute I'm just going to twist it off in a point and then I'm just going to kind of form the stem of a pumpkin using the jute so you can see there I kind of do kind of almost looks like a coat hanger you know what I mean like um at the bottom there just twisting this wired shoot around and around the wire jute is from Dollar Tree and just going around and around and around and around and around and forming this shape and so I guess I wanted that to be just a little bit wider oh maybe not no you just have to you like manipulate the wire that's all you need to do you can make it whatever shape you want um just keep on spinning that wired chew cord around and around until you have the shape that you want it's so easy and I oh I just I can't even get over how much I love how this project came out you guys I can't get over it and so you can see here I'm just manipulating the shape cutting off the excess and then I do believe I use a little bit of hot glue just to secure it down do I I don't remember I think I do oh maybe not I just kind of tucked it in I guess and so there's my peduncle look at the wired jute who Woulda thunk it and here I'm just using a little bit of hot glue and we are going to adhere our peduncles to the top of our pumpkins oh my goodness look at that so we're gonna do that for each one of these there's one and here's our second one with some hot glue smash that on the top and that is it look at those oh my goodness so cute [Music] foreign [Music] favorite DIY number one so I am taking some craft paper I got this craft paper off of um off of Amazon I will try to link it down below and all I'm doing here is I'm kind of folding um and rolling as I go here so roll folds kind of keeping you know everything all in place roll fold and what we're going to do is we're gonna quill we're gonna do some quilling um kind of it's not like super professional quilling by any stretch of the imagination however um it ends up being absolutely gorgeous I cannot get over it now I went around and around and around and then you can see here I'm kind of you know loosening it up a little bit and then kind of pushing it down pushing it down and you can see there that it's all rolled up um into kind of a scroll I guess you could say and this is a little bit out of sequence because I got smarter as I went when I was doing this DIY you guys so all I'm doing here is just cutting really thin strips of this rolled paper cut cut and we are going to be manipulating these and attaching them to a pumpkin so um this is really the best way to do it just make a whole bunch of these I think I did this six times this DIY took me forever I am not even kidding I watched the entirety of Lord of the Rings Return of the King while I was doing this that is a three hour movie you guys so you know plug in your favorite flick and off you go but you can see here those are the little spiral thingies that we are going to glue onto our pumpkin now the pumpkin that I used is from Dollar Tree it's one of those styrofoam ones I painted it with hazelnut I did not show that but that is the color I used because it's the closest to the color of the paper and you can see here that I kind of smushed that roll into kind of a heart shape and then it took some hot glue and attached it to the pumpkin so again what I do here and and again I will get smarter as I go this is just the first few so what I was doing I hot glued in the center of the of the um heart but it wasn't really working so trust me I get a lot better when you're when you do something for three hours you get good I don't trust me so you can see here I'm just kind of you know putting them every which way hot gluing them onto the pumpkin I oh I can't even get over how absolutely gorgeous this is it took me a really long time but you guys it's so worth it in the end it's so freaking gorgeous and the texture is unbelievably beautiful I just love it I can't wait for you to see I cannot wait for you to see the final product so here I am you know just doing the heart thing gluing them down you will be using a ton of hot glue and of course you don't have to use the same size pumpkin in hindsight because this took me so long I wish I would have used a smaller pumpkin but you know so be it this is what I did so here is where I'm getting smarter so I take the tab at the End of the Roll there and I just hot glue it down to itself and it's so much easier to manipulate this way so just going along kind of you know just smushing it making it into that kind of heart shape and then [Music] um putting some hot glue on there and then putting it on to the pumpkin we're just going to continue on and on and on and okay so I am putting the stem or the peduncle on the top here so I just hot glued it and then I am just going to use my little spirals just to fill in around that um that stem there so cutting off a piece and then hot gluing it to itself and then manipulating it so it will fit into that little space around the poduncle and this is actually a really cool technique because as you go you're just like filling it in and filling it in and filling it in and things just actually just work they just completely work it's oh I love this so much so here you can see I am finishing it off on the bottom look how fast I'm going now man I am a pro at quilling [Laughter] see how quickly so putting the hot glue and and you guys I ended up putting the hot glue directly on the pumpkin instead of on the paper because then I could like manipulate it a little bit better that way as well so throw that in there and with hot glue and stick it in and then I believe this one is the last one ugh after three hours of doing this you guys I was so happy to be done with this so just making sure that that one fits throwing some hot glue into my final little space there and then putting my little spiral right in look it fits like a freaking glove how beautiful is that texture I just I can't I can't even look at how pretty it is oh my goodness it's so gorgeous Love Of Love okay so I decided that my peduncle wasn't quite long enough so I grabbed some hot glue grabbed one of the branches that was the same size and I just extended it now it looks kind of goofy like that but we're going to embellish the top of this pumpkin so don't you worry it will look fabulous and so taking some twine and some beads that I got off of Amazon I'm just going to thread six beads onto this uh this twine here so thread thread thread and really you I was being a little bit lazy I'm not gonna lie um I should have put some tape on the end of this uh twine it would have made it a lot easier for me to thread these beads on but you know alas being just a titch lazy that's okay it all worked out in the end there we go and now we're just going to tie that on to the peduncle just like that and we'll have three beads on each end of this of this twine here and then of course put in uh like knots at the bottom so that the beads don't fall off of the of the twine so there we go one knot and another knot and ta-da look at that clip off the excess and oh it looks so good already so using another one of those daisies from the Dollar Tree I am going to hot glue that onto the top of the pumpkin and you can embellish this with whatever you want use this sunflower or use um you know those burlap leaves would be really nice as well from the Dollar Tree like do whatever you want but the major project was all of that quilling and oh it just looks so pretty so I took a couple of um Lamb's Ear leaves and I am hot gluing those to the stem as well and oh my goodness goodness so cute oh it's stunning it's so beautiful and in person I can't get over the texture look at how gorgeous that is you guys let me know what you think [Music] oh foreign [Music] everyone thank you so much for watching my top 10 favorite fall DIYs
