my parents went on vacation.. So I Made Their DREAM LIVING ROOM

this is the living room tv and this is a brand new ps5 but this tv is so old that this hdmi cable doesn't it doesn't uh doesn't fit so yeah i think there's only one thing we can really do i just got to redo the whole entire list so we've been trying to renovate my parents house over the last year and one of the main things i've been wanting to do for a while now is their living room because currently well it's it's just old and outdated classic classic stereo dad you like that stereo don't you that's uh 40 15 20 years ago rocking those tunes yeah i know if my parents could they would definitely change these floors there's a bunch of books right here that literally no one uses we got a bunch of dvd players and look at that yeah blockbuster that is literally extinct and then we have a plethora of dvds which honestly we could probably find every movie on netflix now i'm gonna do the whole living room either way but i really wanted to be surprised for my parents and i've sort of been giving this golden opportunity to finally make it happen and this opportunity presented itself on the last video where jonathan my dad's boss invited him and my mom to go to florida for a vacation which means kind of be home alone for a whole week now that's a lot of time and that might just be enough time to you know make their dream room but because i've been redoing so many rooms i'm just too predictable my mom is afraid that she's not gonna like it and whatnot and well mom you know me i'm impulsive nothing's gonna stop me from doing this and since you're worried i'm gonna do big transformation and you might not like it i think there's only one solution to this less than 48 hours before their flight to florida i brought my parents to the store and let them buy whatever they wanted for their living room okay mom and dad so we're at the store right now are there any floors that you guys would like inside your dream house this one no i don't like it no she's not like i'm afraid she doesn't like nothing we spent hours going around the store trying to find the perfect floor for my parents and because my mom's so undecisive this ended up happening okay mom the store's closing the next five minutes and you gotta choose the floor you want for the house so uh make it quick which one which one which one this one is amazing this one is nice this might be it this one is the one yes do you think that's not dark enough if you like it go for it okay so okay sold boom the grand total is gonna come out to four thousand one hundred and forty three dollars and ninety nine cents oof okay that's only for flooring minus the labor okay if it helps for labor they're charging about five bucks a square foot right now i'm quickly learning that renovations are extremely expensive to do but we gotta make this happen so let's spend some more money we then dip to the next door to find a couch and guess what my mom didn't even like won them mom you need to make up your mind but after hours of searching we found this i think we found it is it going to be this one i think that's the one oh my god my mom guess how much how much the couch cost almost four thousand dollars oh wow but there was still one big problem problem is most in stocks are not really widely available and if you're looking for a customization it's 10 to 12 weeks right 10 to 12 weeks what do you mean i'm trying to get this done in the next seven days then that got me thinking to myself what am i supposed to do now okay mom and dad bye okay bye be sure the house is clean when we come back across some of my favorite movies avatar iron man we got who's this like tom cruise or something and even found a book on probably how to like make dream rooms 1000 easy step-by-step instructions ooh i might keep this for myself actually this this book is literally going to teach me how to make dream rooms but yeah i pretty much just took the day to get rid of everything throw it on craigslist and by the end of it i was just left with this look how empty this is bro i could literally do whatever i want now but we literally got so much work to do and we only have like another six days until my parents come back that being said i wonder what my parents are doing all the way in florida right now look at that i mean [Applause] ah papa frenchy i love you dad but you really need to post more on airbnb to go to you know snowboarding for the weekend and i kind of want to go with them and yo if anything this might just make the video more exciting because if i have less time then i'll just be more stressed and i'll have to get more done in a shorter amount of period of time bro i don't know if this is the smartest thing to do my parents are coming back at the end of the week and like by doing this i'm just gonna have less time to work on this bro i mean this is how i see it right now we're in march right if my calculations are correct next month is may meaning there's no more snow it's nowhere never this is just not a smart decision bro you gotta hurry up because may is approaching it's today or never so we sent it to the state of utah where we spent the next couple days absolutely shredding the mountains i should not be holding the camera right now so i can only do one thing right now i can only order the stuff that i need to do this this dream living room so indeed 50s 60s my favorite number is six nine so 69 inches 85 inches i don't think that fits through your door though i can make it work it's a living room so like we need tv speakers we need to make it like rid of all the floors bought new ones and hired a bunch of people to help get this done in time [Music] and i even got the help out too [Applause] you have to put on against the floor and it's gonna all the floors downstairs and the painting is done it's now time to turn this into an actual living room and put everything my parents always dreamed of right here and i know this is already crazy but to surprise my mom and since my mom wasn't uh expecting that we're gonna try to make it up for her so we're gonna try this again but hopefully with something my mom will like my parents are coming back in the next 24 hours i still got all that figured out susie has to paint the the mural this is starting to become really stressful but we'll make it work as soon as he worked on the mural my pets were coming back in the next 24 hours and we still had to figure out a way to transport that 85 inch tv we bought earlier okay boys i'm at best buy to pick up that 85 inch tv and i had to part of this van just to fit inside because it's just so big oh my god that is huge dude this tv is so huge dude i can't believe this bro what am i doing this is the craziest thing i've ever done but the matter of the fact is my parents are landing tomorrow and we have to surprise them with their dream living room so that evening i worked my magic i installed the tv with my friend george put in a home stereo system this is beyond crazy you guys like as a kid me and my family would always watch a movie every single night and now since i'm really doing their living room you know it really means something to me so i got rid of their old 20 year old tv now i'm giving them the biggest tv they ever had as well as these like thousand dollar speakers i hope they sound good i have no idea how they sound i didn't even realize it but i just stayed up all night just to build this thing and after a hectic week it was now time to pick up my parents yo you guys ready to see the living room oh yeah let me in
