[Music] I literally just made my parents their dream kitchen and this all started as a little joke my mom said three years okay Mom mom invaded every single room in my parents house except for one the kitchen the cabinets are about to fall off our dining tables now picnic table and our freaking Oven broke before the holidays last year which leaves me with only one option here goes nothing [Music] we need a kitchen for the holidays and we only have six weeks to do this and Google says it could take up to 12 weeks in fact every construction company I asked said this was too short notice except for one easy really so I'll show you the stuff that I have in stock if you want to go custom that's when we're going to be cutting it a little bit close custom I never do anything custom um so if you wanted this to be done on time we had to use what was in stock I showed a bunch of examples my mom texted me then we got a 3D render done to see how it looked like dude probably see that that looks the ultimate gaming kitchen this would be too cool not to do until I heard how much this costs a thousand dollars a piece oh thirteen fourteen thousand dollars okay I actually wanted to know if I could pull something like this off all we needed was a translucent Stone and some lights to put underneath or so I thought so the quote was how much like forty thousand dollars what's this this price 9 500 for fat fat fabrication of the countertops like we have a problem I bought the countertops uh I actually got two different ones a black granite and the cheapest translucent Stone they had like that I could still afford to do the light up effect I think my parents would love it like I just want to go all out for that I just didn't consider what my mom thought because she also wanted to go to the store to see what options there were how do you like that one uh not so much no I mean it's just the calories when we eat just too much ground is it the one you wanted [Music] I still have time to change out the countertops if I need to but come on the light up effect would just be so cool I think it's just one of those things my mom has finished I hope the first week of construction we did everything from the electrical to fixing the drywall we also hit a million subscribers and I even got to drill a hole that went outside there's a freaking hole like I could put my hand out do you see that no this is the one thing my mom did not want me to do and the other thing my mom didn't want me to do was to have any leaks why is it leaking like that I don't even know oh my God oh my God oh my God oh wow it's been seeped through something in my parents bathroom leak causing dirty water to penetrate into the kitchen I had no idea something like this could happen I don't want to scare you to say this but I mean worse comes to worse I mean all that drywall's gonna have to come out because it's it's been soaked through it would grow more [Music] in the next three days you have to sleep with these two fans on there is no way good night good night me and my dad are happy to sleep over together my mom my sister's sharing the other bed it's gonna be fun next couple days while the cabinets start to get installed I want to find some cool stuff for the kitchen and if I can place any online orders it's now we're next I ordered everything from this dining table which might not even come on put my family through I decided to renovate their bathroom at the very same time and we had several leaks causing us to share one toilet between us and the construction workers mom what are you doing I'm trying to wash some dishes which didn't make it any easier when we all got food poisoning except for Selena I'm lucky we have one more instrument we're both sick so he was in the restroom and I was in the gravel outside yeah this sucks they were supposed to deliver yesterday and then two days and we still haven't get it so we don't have the stone we don't have a stone yeah Lena is out of my control vendor's hands so waiting for them to deliver it to the shop we're gonna make it work though I don't believe that Jose are we gonna make it work [Music] s it's a big moment this is so trippy seeing countertops I'm like wow I hope my mom likes it she doesn't know about this oh no no this is not even the type of thing she she wanted she wanted like the white quartz that you know everyone does oh this was much students next we had to install all the LEDs on the subtop before the last countertop came in oh my God this is so many LEDs but in fact we installed exactly 19 550 LEDs and because my parents always tell me to turn off the lights I had to ask how much it costs so for 10 hours of running it's gonna cost you about 50 cents okay that's actually kind of a lot though that's like a dollar a day that's like oh that's a dollar that's more than a Netflix subscription what oh my God I'm sure my parents are gonna love this kitchen except we had a problem we ran out of time foreign mentally these projects got to us I know I'm gonna appreciate but before then we still have to put it at least we get to be together yeah this has been by far the coolest but most ambitious project I've ever tried to do I've grown up with my family always complain about how the house is always a mess and never would have thought that by making these YouTube videos it would give me the opportunity to literally build my parents their dreams okay today's finally the day we're installing the freaking countertop let's go I was so high this was the last big piece for the kitchen but since I couldn't make it for Thanksgiving I wanted to go bigger and just do a couple extra things this feels way too fancy I feel like I'm at the freaking bellage at like a five-star hotel this does
