My Last Day Of School... Ever??... (March 2020)

[Music] I'm just kidding all right it's March 13th Friday that it's far to the 13 2020 and today is my last day of school as of now for at least the next three weeks because of the current virus known as Coby 19 the district released or published some note last night basically said that they're moving our Spring Break to now so we have two weeks of school off starting Monday and then we have one week of online classes I'm probably gonna film that too so stay tuned for future videos so you kind of show what that's like but yeah today's our last day of school I'm basically gonna go around to all my classes film people's reactions thoughts maybe interview some of my teachers random kids in the hallway who knows it could be madness I have no idea what to expect everyone's kind of nervous or unsure how to act or feel so it's just me you're interesting to watch what unfolds over the course of the day so stay tuned our video [Music] now you sucked it up a little bit of power energy [Music] morning all right so mom thank you for giving me a ride to school happy blame your situation situation is I am a professor and I will be learning to teach online using an online program called zoom that I've been using for a long time so it should be just fine but yeah we'll be having class online soon enough in our living room I was thinking of doing maybe a house tour for my students waiting yeah vijnana chromosome bottom is our farm vicinity Appa yeah so this whole situation is crazy affecting everyone in their own kind of different ways all I know is we're going to be having a lot of week for any updated assignments into feedback you should participate in engaging in completing business classes today they take about 30 to 40 minutes before class to complete your assignments each day that week of March the 30th with teacher reporting in barriers or obstacles every class seems to slide show it's mandatory you're great that means no patience as we have gone through certainly an wash your hands for at least at least 20 seconds pro tip when you dry off your hands you have the paper towel we have to open the door use it to open the door and then you don't touch that's how we say safe in times like these at class [Music] sorry film about all this great that's true I think it's great that we're about to have school because I need to sleep yeah I'm not scared but things get canceled and then not scared for my grandma myself I'm not scared yeah except famous okay okay so question are you scared my scare name is Campbell French class it's gonna be a blast in the past we're seeing what is happening in Italy and what's happening in Massachusetts that is two weeks in the past because that's how long it takes for things to incubate and spread Cal 10 which is 40 days which is how long that they would they would ask people to stay separated anyways they're good if that's your dinner like you're driving right taking a break to wash our hands do it every day 20 seconds 20 seconds 90 seconds 40 seconds 20 seconds what was that 20 seconds yeah that was that well that's 20 seconds of course okay good [Music] [Music] it's I'm really worried about being out of school because without like the structure of school then I don't get up in the morning and then it can be like a few days and I won't have gotten up which is really bad and also I'm really worried about the kids who get like school lunches because a lot of them don't have resources at home to have food so I'm really thankful for organizations like porch and table that are gonna be helping out those students during their break but anyway it's really uncertain and there's a lot of fear in the air but we're gonna be alright enjoy anything that's cool Jack what are your current thoughts feelings on this whole virus okay so basically I mean for our senior year kind of sucks cuz I know there's a bunch of people playing sports you know I'm playing golf my friends playing baseball across a lot of stuff they all have their seasons pretty much all I know is that it's canceled they're suspended for now many people been playing those sports for four years and they don't have that like kind of recognition like night that they have really you know it's your fun game like it's a big deal and then they could possibly not have that yeah like I didn't have that chance so I mean I got I appreciate everything I appreciated all the moments that I had with people but you know I assumed you know during that like last couple months of school you always like I appreciate it a little bit more yeah but like now it's like dang I probably should have started at sooner so like I was almost nude we run out of food or like toilet paper no economy is already taking it stock markets already taking it so it's a lot like a business out of it you know restaurants you know what my friends were good restaurants today absolutely like no one's in there and like people are not coming not going out yeah it's affecting a lot are you going to the couch elbow DevOps all this is now on it's I think it's it's like it's not that big of a deal but at the same time it's just affecting everything we'd use of cost you know like it's not gonna affect us individually but it is structurally important like a simulation and that the world is ending I don't know what good night when I go to sleep I feel like I can't because like I feel like it's inevitable I'm gonna get it like just with my work and stuff and if I do get it I don't want people to know Griffin Bing said he'd rather have a zombie apocalypse yeah I would definitely would you not rather have a zombie apocalypse when I like if if the world were to end wouldn't let us know in the comments we'd rather a zombie apocalypse for this like it's never gonna get better you don't I mean like I do we have to get the flu shot because of the influence I mean oh yeah like when we grow up our kids will have to get the krona shot we'll be hmm thoughts from a teacher's perspective on that it's pretty weird what we're going through right now confused very confused not too nervous I think these measures were taken right now Josh how are you feeling how are you feeling about the coronavirus I'm kind of set about it actually what I think we can persevere do a better job at hiding it are you scared I'm scared you're scared I'm scared current virus got some work there's time together but for all this you remember this this is going to be a big event in everyone's life so I'm excited I'll miss you too [Music] yes how are you feeling - last period of the day are you feeling about curta virus I'm a little bit unsettled by the whole thing I just don't know how it's all gonna go down but um I guess kind of looking forward to now I'm in school but also I'm gonna miss it I'm gonna miss like the schedule was on today a weird day to be at school say was weird David do you think do you think the general feeling is scared or nervous or excited yes I think that people are generally nervous for not having such structure but I think that people should change their view and view it as an opportunity to figure out something that they enjoy outside of school thank you that once the general shock wears off then you're able to realize that it's just gonna be a moment in time and hopefully we'll be able to build off what we learned during this time period and make society better you think society's gonna collapse hope not I don't think so alright thank you for doing it pretty no way are you filming a video yeah how are you feeling about this whole crime outbreak he's actually really excited about it because I've been eating they catch up on some schoolwork and this is this is gonna be perfect yeah I can get good at running too I was I was sitting in school was it was it scary it was pretty chill because there was like there was a lot of like presentations that they had to give the same presentation over and over again so I could give that personal record and flappy bird oh wow yeah it was great I got 421 you can beat that I don't think you can I don't think that yeah we could try I don't think that we'll even was it weird it was weird because we do nothing but I wasn't that scared I don't think it's people are overreacting about it it's like I'm not scared for myself but I'm scared for like my family yeah my family that's like older yeah and like for all the people who like can't who don't have good immune system yes or like people who are losing their jobs because the stock market like that's kind of the scary part like the economic yeah stuff is like worse than the actual Italy is over you think society is gonna collapse no I don't think so like I think you'll be okay and like a few months a few months you think we were gonna be back in school in April six and I hope not because thank you that concludes the last dance school [Music]
