do not dare sting me okay hey guys so today I met up with my friend and he gave me this yep that is one massive scorpion so this scorpion is a forest scorpion and it definitely does not look friendly at all I mean look at this I was told it's a male and he looks to be pretty old like what are those on him are those mine - no it's not mine those are just looks to be coconut fiber dried-up coconut fiber particles so yeah let's set up the enclosure for this guy and rehouse him so I'm gonna be rehousing him into this plastic top it is decently sized that's about four inches of substrate giving them the opportunity to dig it's a good thing damn coconut fiber and why damp yeah you may be thinking scorpions they live in a desert it's super dry well these scorpions these forest scorpions come from tropical climates tropical countries so they do appreciate their substrate and their environment human okay time to set up this enclosure so what I'm gonna use as a height is this pot over here yeah it is super heavy this enclosure is gonna be like a pain to carry around but you know who cares right it's just gonna be out in the corner for display or something so first thing we're gonna do is place this at the corner so I'm gonna have to dig the substrate a little bit so I can bury that thing in better stain that nope no you are staying in there gotta get this enclosure built quickly before he decides to come out so there is the so called hide you are not coming out okay now I'm gonna have to like get the substrate and push it in a little bit as well so he can chill inside when he wants I'm gonna have to like take the site and make this part into like a gradual Mountain upwards and this side will be the lowland with a place where I put the water there you can climb up this um let's say Mountain okay this little hill when he wants to and he can come all the way down to have a drink when he wants to and of course I'm gonna pack everything down because just like tarantulas I think these guys would prefer walking on solid surfaces instead of having their feet sink in all the time all right so far that looks pretty good if you'd ask me this guy is like super huge like larger than I expected and where do you think you're going huh where to oh my goodness okay this is not the time to stroll around this is the time to chill in there because I've got to rehouse you into your no no no don't run around the place man these guys so big like literally they are about seven inches no joke all right all right let's let's put you back in this container for now please come on no you got it come on go in please yo come on behave behave get it in my gosh what are you doing there you go this guy my gosh chill okay relax I'm gonna have to go get some dry leaves as well as forest moss you know what I think forget the dry at least because this enclosure doesn't have the best ventilation just these four points and not a lot of ventilation plus a human enclosure you guessed it mold so instead I've got some plastic leaves which should make the enclosure look pretty decent as well I quite like the looks of it what do you guys think good yeah I think it's good also if he wants he can go and hide under here so awesome looking good so now I'm gonna have to get Forrest moss which I have a little bit over here that's moist in it a little bit so it'll be easier to distribute and now we can sprinkle it all around I think we'll get some in there so the humidity in there will be perfect if he decides he wants to move although I think he is already at seven in star or 18 star so that is pretty much the biggest he's gonna get so no more molting for him but a lot of humidity for this species is always egg the and I'm gonna need more forest moss it also makes the enclosure look a lot nicer let's put some up here yeah I put a lot of water in because they were so dry to a point that when you crush them they're all crispy and they become dust sprinkled sprinkle all the moss all around for humidity drop some at the corner over here and well we're done that is pretty much it for this enclosure you guys know me I am a very very simple guy and whatever works and whatever looks decent to my eyes yep I call it that so this can go over there with my pet tiger was a little dude I know cringe but cringe is what makes the world fun anyways forget that let's just get this scorpion into its new enclosure and yep I'm gonna try to hold this guy for the first time because after I house him into his new enclosure I will not lay hands on him I will not disturb him I will not do anything with him just feed him and replace a water dish so this is my only chance you guys want to see me hold this big guy let's go come on little dude you got a chill please do not dare sting me okay don't you dare this guy so big alright guys so there's me holding the biggest scorpion of my life okay do not pinch me so these guys as you can see they have big claws and really not so thick tail ooh check out that stinger doh so how are you gonna tell if a scorpion is super venomous or not well I'm sure this is not the only way but this guy has big claws and a small tail well not so small but claw to tail ratio the tail is pretty small so these guys usually will pinch their prey to death instead of stinging it with the tail and I've gotten a pinch from these guys before not fun it is not a pleasant feeling oh no he's little looks like it's gonna pinch me okay please no please do not okay thank you you're a good boy I've made for you a nice enclosure so you respect me yeah I respect you too but anyways let's get this guy into his new enclosure I'm pretty sure he will love it wouldn't you come on oh he is pinching me he is pinching me not fun okay come on dude I made for you a nice enclosure it's time for you to go in not pinch me okay no that's my vein do not even dare no no don't you dare pinch me okay come on I've made for you a nice enclosure all you got to do is get off my hand yeah that's it okay let's go get off my hand please and there he goes explore your new enclosure come on go in yep that's right that's your new hide you're gonna love this enclosure it is definitely big enough for you but not too big that you will get stressed and it's definitely not too small for you either because it's pretty big I mean guys look it's big this enclosure compared to him like look at him down there look at the enclosure size it is pretty darn big so no worries this guy will enjoy his life here I'm not really sure how long born he has to live because he looks to be pretty old so let's let's wish him luck okay so you guys know that I usually keep those smaller species the more toxic scorpion species the Hottentot a Hottentot ax and then we also have the pair Boothe's trans velakis which is the south african spitting fat-tailed spitting scorpion yeah you see even I'm butchering their names and then I have the repellers June sees the Cuban orange I believe and then we have my all famous death stalker which is still with my friend for breeding I am I'm yet to contact him and ask him how's the breathing going have you guys seen such a big scorpion before let me know in the comments below and tell me if you would get this because these guys believe it or not despite their size they are considered to be one of the more better beginner species of scorpions you want to want to get those tiny ones because those guys is venom yeah they can pack a punch they can send you to the hospital they can send you to another place so these guys awesome scorpions but anyways that'll be it for this video if you liked it be sure to thumbs it up if you didn't feel for your thumbs it down if you're new to this channel be sure to subscribe notification bell all that good stuff social media links description below I hope you guys have a great week have a great one okay don't be like sad or stuff have a great weekend I think I just stop rambling now so take care and peace oh and if you were wondering yes of course this enclosure has a lid
