Ms. Lord Have Mercy is dead :( ~ [Tarantula molting GONE HORRIBLY WRONG]

guys miss lord of mercy is in critical condition she is currently in stock mo as you can see she's having troubles trying to get out of her mo which is not good I mean she's not eaten for about a month she refused food and I was wondering what's going on with her because that's usually not the OBT style they usually always eat but and today I came in and notice that she is molting which yeah that that's why she didn't want to eat but then looking closely at her after a few hours she's still in the same same position so that means she is stuck in this current mode because tarantulas when they're stuck in mo it's very very difficult to get them off to more because they can die and a lot of them do actually die when they're stuck in their mold because there won't start to get hard and they just can't come out yeah I'm gonna be trying to help her I don't know how I'm gonna do this she's a very big OBT I mean check her out compared to my hand super big I've had her for about four years now and this looks like a very very bad mold so I don't know well we'll try our best cuz if we don't do anything she's gonna die anyway so we might as well try something right so yeah let's let's see how this goes hmm I'm really worried because I don't want to lose her like seriously I don't want to lose her okay we'll use this container over here I'll get some paper towels just to make it a soft surface for her whoa whoa whoa oh my goodness yo what was that man alright let's go so I'm gonna be doing is I'm gonna be putting this down here like this and just give it a quick spritz oh it's not too dry there we go just a double spritz just like that I'm gonna have to do this super super carefully to put that over there whoa whoa whoa calm down box hmm how am I gonna do this not sure goodness I don't think we'll be able to save her guys cuz as you can see pretty much all the legs are stuck I think we're we're gonna have to euthanize this girl this is my first OBT and she's been with me for so many years and she is fully stuck in more she's been in this position for hours don't worry guys I didn't like to see her molting and just assume that she's talked more and just straight away took her out no unfortunately this girl she's been in the same position for hours and what am I gonna do I guess she will not be able to come out because her legs over here are all already hard enough so it's almost impossible to get her out or for her to slide out so yeah that's that's really sad as you can see over here you guys over here you see her legs they're not able to slide out of this shell they're like super hard already because usually it tarantula before they molt their exoskeletons are very very moist so they can slide out of the exoskeleton without any issues but this girl she it's all solid already in there's nothing that we can do I thought that she would maybe like already come out and then stuck in one leg but unfortunately this girl her body isn't even out often more it's it hasn't even come out not even a single bit I mean yeah a single a single bit right there that's pretty much it but that's I don't know I I guess there's there's no way to do this anymore this is so sad you guys I don't know why girl I mean oh btw is they are from dry climates and I mean even her and closer even if they're from dry climates I do spritzer enclosure every couple days and I just spritz her a little bit more just now but it looks like it didn't really work yeah they're really helpful because tarantulas it's not from the outside humidity it's from their insights so if their lack of like moisture they get stuck mode looks like I really I couldn't do anything for her right now she's gone guys she's she's pretty much gone I have no idea she's like super wet and oh man I can see her suffering this is so I guess let me just I'm currently editing a video right now but since this is happening on a search for like okay so I am looking for humane ways to euthanize a tarantula which is I don't know I I never thought I would actually search for something like this methods of euthanasia or right now boards spider how to put your tarantula down the humane time but when would not induce the level of pain that freezing would that has it is also possible some special experience pinging okay so refrigerating nope freezing the common method especially when we're talking about teas or arts and why it is preferred complex nervous extremely sensitive okay maybe not crushes everything else method relatively humane however disturbing most cases the first impact leaves too much of the nervous system causing possibly causing pain microwaving I've never loved anybody actually trying this but I've seen it brought up it's like blah blah suffocation Freeza it's a slow and painful death so we're not gonna be doing that dry eyes Co - I don't have co2 I don't have dry eyes maybe I should start to get co2 and dry eyes like on standby because I don't have dry eyes or co2 so I mean when I was watching this video over here I came across this comment from Edwards and uh he said that you could drop them in a cup of Dawn dish soap and water instant death works with most insects very effective on wasp and Hornet so maybe I could try it there I'll probably use like Dawn dish soap and then just like dip her in or something like an instant death I have no idea but yeah I think that's the best option for me right now because the guy who made this video about euthanizing tarantulas he did comment back saying that he preserved he even though I preserve most material doing it then blowback do not and the method yuusha is a valid option so I guess it's it's worth a shot because I mean it's better than letting this girl suffer for even longer right I mean we should just like put her down and I don't want to smash her to Stetz gross okay number one that's gross I don't want to put her in the freezer because people say that slow and painful death yeah I do agree with that to a certain extent because tarantulas have fluids in their body so if you put them in the freezer they'll freeze from the inside out so no okay no and then I read that some people say like put them in the microwave no I'm not exploding her in the microwave that's not gonna happen and I don't have carbon dioxide I have no I don't have smashing see especially lethal injection how are you gonna like stab I mean you're stabbing a trencher that's really gonna hurt it even more so no out of the question lethal injection no freezing you see smashing which I'm not doing injection which is not practical and freezing which no I don't want to do that because that's kind of not as fast as you may think it is so I guess the Dawn dish soap is the other option right let's see any other things if you must kill a spider the best way is to freeze it a lot of people are still talking about freezing their tarantulas and stage I don't have all these things because I never expected these to happen and she's been molting super well no issues whatsoever and now it's just so yeah I guess we'll do the dish soap thing because really there's not a lot of methods I mean I'm searching online right now and methods of other than the freezer okay other than that let's just search this one and we'll see okay I think your best cheaper bet will be the freezer I had a feeling I figured talk about this oh well there's some research co2 i dont have co2 i don't want to get co2 there's no co2 where I live I can't be like breathing into her no that's not gonna happen concentration of the detergent that you put in if you put it more concentrated then it's quicker I don't know but yeah mine was it's quite soapy so yeah mmm I guess now I'm going to be freezing her and we'll come back tonight to see when she is fully frozen so yeah my friends coming over now we're gonna go fishing so yeah let's just go put her in the freezer and oh I'll be back later so yeah
