My Family STOLE $300,000

hello I am Ethan this is the story of how my family stole more than three hundred thousand dollars and tried to ruin my life besides me there are five other people in my family I have two sisters a brother mom and dad this all started back when I was in college and my dad was facing a lot of losses in his business and became depressed I was raised with the idea that being the eldest you should help everyone and support each other it was this kindness that my family took advantage of and exploited when my dad was depressed I started a business to pay for my college my sisters did help somewhat by shipping any orders I received eventually my sisters started college and I paid for their tuition and other expenses between the three of us our tuition was approximately $40,000 a year as time went on I kept accumulating more and more debt I was taking loans and charging my credit cards to pay for everyone's expenses I was also having to pay for my parents expenses as well no one else in my family was trying to contribute so everything fell upon me I kept thinking that this is what older siblings do but in the next few years I would start to see the truth eventually I got a place for me and my siblings to live together while we were in college around this time my little brother also entered college and I was now having to pay for him as well the burden on me kept increasing and one day I found out that my dad had not paid taxes for five years he had not paid more than thirty nine thousand dollars of taxes I had to take a loan for thirty nine thousand dollars to pay for his taxes during college my sister spent the majority of their time partying with friends and would ask me for money constantly I would pay for their gas food car insurance and everything they needed I did all this because I was taught to take care of others being the eldest I kept telling myself that this was what good older brothers do but I regret it all by the time my sisters and I graduated I had accumulated over $200,000 in debt looking back I thought they would grow out of it and become responsible but I was very wrong after my sisters and I graduated had to sell my place because it was getting really hard to support paying for everyone I sold my place so we can move in with my parents this was the biggest mistake of my whole life we all moved in with my parents and I invested all the money slowly into my business I had assumed that after my sister's graduated they would try and start contributing take care of themselves and help with expenses instead all my sisters did was sleep everyday till 4 or 5 p.m. eat food watch YouTube and hang out with their friends I was so extremely frustrated because I was having to pay for every single bill in the house such as the rent Internet electricity my dad's car insurance my sister's car insurance and any other bill that came around around four years went by and my business started having some problems it was really hard to pay the debt everyone put on me and try and save money around this time I decided to open a social media marketing company because my other business was failing I found a business partner who is very reliable My partner and I worked 18 hours a day and we were starting to get some success at this point I hope that I can include my sisters to help so we could get out of debt and I could finally pursue going to medical school my partner tried to train my sisters for a month and they kept making mistakes and my clients started to leave initially I thought that these are they're just mistakes and that they can happen to anyone but as they kept repeating the same mistakes over and over I became a little suspicious I would eventually come to know why they were making these mistakes could you believe it was planned at this point I was too naive I still hold on to that idea that we are family we should help each other and be there for each other eventually after typing so much regularly I ended up having a lot of pain in my hand because I developed carpal tunnel I had to take a break from the company and during this time my little brother helped my little brother even asked my sisters for help but they refused they said when the company gets destroyed then maybe we will consider working to support ourselves even after my sister's lost so much money ask for $3,000 to buy clothes and sell them to their friends they tried to give me the excuse that the business was too complicated so they wanted to buy and sell clothes which was easier for them then a few days later they said $2,000 was stolen by the person who was supposed to send them the clothes they didn't show any guilt or sadness for the money being stolen they said so what if it did get stolen at this point I totally stopped talking to them I haven't talked to them and one and a half years during this time that I had stopped talking to my sisters the rest of my family had immigration fees to pay they had to pay approximately twenty six thousand dollars in immigration feasts to stay in the country all the money I had saved ended up going towards these fees and I was left with almost nothing my mom had always tried to help me in whatever way she could and she started cooking food and catering to save up money my sisters were so shameless that they even took money from her they kept telling my mom they wanted to get a job for almost a year but they never got a job and they kept taking her money I found out they weren't looking for a job but instead they were using the money to go hang out with their friends and eat out during this time I still did not know the full truth about my sisters but in the next few months I would find out as of now for the last three months my marketing company started going downhill I decided to try to sell products I had left over from my other business there was supposed to be about a hundred and sixty thousand dollars worth of products but when I counted only a hundred thousand was there I was a little confused where did the sixty thousand dollars of products go I was so shocked I found out that my sisters for the last two years had been selling my products and keeping all the money to themselves I eventually added it up and they had stolen approximately fifteen thousand dollars worth of products it all hit me that in the last two years they had been stealing but still asking me for money when they had to go to a dinner or hang out with friends at the same time I found out that the other forty five thousand dollars of products had been sold by my and he had sold the products and blown the money on things he bought for himself at this point it hit me that these people were so shameful and they did not care they did not care that I was accumulating interest on my cards that had taken loans and all they cared about was themselves I told my mom to warn them to stop stealing my products a month later I had discovered that they had hidden away thousands of dollars worth of products in their room and they were still stealing from me I then found out they had ten thousand dollars in their account from the products they sold when they discovered that I knew everything and they couldn't steal any more money from me they decided to leave the house everything clicked and I realized the reason they didn't help me with the business is because they were stealing money from me and they didn't really care to help they actually purposefully messed up my business and made all those mistakes they also made me pay for their immigration expenses when they had enough money in their account and they took money from my mom and made her borrow money from others during the last two months my mom wanted to go see my grandmother she hadn't seen her in the last 20 years and she wanted to see her because she had cancer I would have paid for the plane ticket but the business was doing really badly my sisters knew this for the last few months but they never offered to help they wouldn't even use the stolen money to try and help my mom realizing all these things together in the last few months has been a challenging time the family I wanted the closeness I wanted and the relationships I wanted didn't turn out the way I thought I wanted to be the person where we would work together support each other help each other and be there for each other in tough times my goal in life was to go to medical school make free clinics help those in need I feel like everyone stole a part of my life I tried to keep me from accomplishing my
