Mobbed by Raccoons (25) Tuesday Night 03 Nov 2020

okay it's ten to seven and i got a bucket of grapes i'm gonna throw that whole bucket out because i can't get out the door to do the hot dogs so this is to be fun now right here here here here here come on come on watch your toes watch your turn so holy smoke get out of there connor all right i'm just gonna put the uh that's the only way i can get out all right just look clockwise wall-to-wall raccoons i'm gonna try to count them okay i'm gonna i'm gonna go over there and sit on the uh the bench all stopping oh they're really going at it see it's snowing out right now and the temperature's low look those grapes are gone that whole bucket just two seconds all right guys come on let's go you ready i'm gonna sit in the snow-covered bench holy smokes oh my god yes yes yes i'm wall-to-wall raccoons you ready let's go oh my god this is crazy this is crazy you know there's got to be 30 raccoons at least i don't know where they all come from oh my god yeah they all love me because i got the food yeah and i get buddy hanging off me yup there you go ready here you go you go are things settling down i get eight pounds of hot dogs here in this bucket things have settled down finally holy smokes i gotta get two hands growing here yeah they're all yeah i'll tell you see they're really really super hungry because of the cold and it's minus six higher right now celsius so it's below freezing there we go so they and it's it's we're gonna be you have a big snow again tonight halifax got uh the traffic is uh the two bridges are closed in halifax because of accidents and uh there you go holy smoke here yes i get everybody here i get the whole i get the whole woods here holy smokes i bought 20 pounds of hot dogs today at the walmart look at this holy smokes everybody's starving seeing it it's nature telling them they've got to get this food into them because uh they're not going to be able to lead after uh you know once the temperature starts dropping right now it gets below -5 for a while they won't be out that's uh about 25 24 fahrenheit ready man oh man this is crazy here oh my god buddy take it easy grabs a hold of me and hauls me back here there look at this this is crazy there was eight pounds of hot dog gone look and uh two bags of uh grapes gone i got what five hot dogs left one two three four that's it that's all there is i'll have to cut some more okay just look on them okay i'll just turn this down a bit there we go uh um uh um okay we're gonna put some more grapes out ready yeah see how long they lost get him grinder so oh okay oh my gentle god want your feet i'm gonna there we go okay just a minute i got three more pounds of hot dogs here you eat that all right you ready wait let's sit down wait okay wait oh my god here here take them you like my new hat i just got that in the mail today it's crocheted raccoon hat here oh my god they're ripping my coat and everything here we're talking about overwhelming raccoons here and they're getting whole hot dogs there's no half there's no hats we're getting whole hot dogs i gotta put the dry food up now what are you doing up here huh what are you doing up here sammy look at that look at that big tail look that big tail yep here you go we got a cameraman up there see it's snowing all day it's my hands are froze here here you go there you go look at that get you about okay i think what i'll do i'll put there's only two left here now that's that's uh seven three just ten pounds of tonight well that's enough for that we're gonna put the dry food out maybe i'll put some cookies out conor cat uh so uh hello so all right i'm coming i'm not coming all right we got uh cookies how many is here one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen oh my god am i either twenty five again all right back up hey everybody back here you get one under there you got it well take your cookie there you go okay i'm just gonna dump these there's a mixture of oreo man oh man there okay i can sit down now in peace i got uh this was waiting on the doorstep when i got home oh my and from amazon no you can't have that get your own cookies yeah it's from mark h ratcliff it's amazon and it's a uh okay remote control outdoor outlet switch okay okay we're going to hook that up then for the lights here what you want to see what it is look you see you see it look it's it's a thing to keep you guys in lights no you can't eat it all right i think it's time for the dry food now yes i know you're such a good boy all right jack come here don't you bite my finger there you go i grabbed your eep in the box i grabbed you reaped the bomb look yeah it's all he is anyway they're used to me now all right we'll flip this down here oh my god they're hungry tonight i got a 50 pound bag i'm surprised they're out you know i got a 50 pound bag of dog food today but i'm surprised throughout in the cold but okay you ready guys okay i gotta spread it right spread some here you know what i noticed last night uh i noticed last night that uh they were underneath the deck eating the stuff that fell through the cracks all right connor get in there oh i gotta chase him all the time all right all right so we're gonna give you a quick look at my hat here let's come in the mail today anyway it's got the ears on it it's a warm hat too i like it all right so we're gonna i'll take this in take this out of the way mr connor you know what tell them what you took my new chair yeah my 950 dollar chair and you take it and sleep in it all night yeah and i gotta go sit in the other one you know that connor you do don't check you take my chair you did so i'm mad at you connor cat he don't care what i think all right we'll go with the the boys again yeah how's everybody doing you oh you're eating that are you is that good it tastes good you get away get look at that fella sitting up right and this is my buddy that tries to get in the house yes you are scooter four five six seven eight oh it's hard to count them one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve yeah 25 we got 25 up here yeah that's the most i ever had all like 20 years i've been doing this and most ever had between eight and ten raccoons now people were wondering now what's going to happen next year well they're going to bring all their babies back actually a lot of these will be gone they'll uh they'll move off into another territory and then we start with a whole new group again sammy be gone and buddy would be gone would he be gone yeah so we start with a whole new group but see we had a lot of mothers here that dropped the kids off and left them so but look at them i mean they're all well fed so anyway this is uh third in november so i would say if the weather keeps going the way it is they're going to be gone yeah i must grab that bird feeder in because oh stop there i'll grab that bird feeder they didn't empty that the bloody birds did i fill this thing up three times yeah there's two of them connor cat what you doing what is it are you looking for daddy are you are you a connor cat yeah all right fellas there's steven spielberg right there there you guys uh finish up that and i'm going to turn your one light off here and i reach it there we go and i just leave this one on and it goes off at 12 30. all right connor cat i'm gonna get you i'm gonna get you yes i am i'm gonna get that going you better run where's charlotte there she is charlotte are you hungry sure are you hungry poor little girl huh poor little girl yes charlotte what is it do you want to go back to tracy's you want to go live with tracy again charlotte back to tracy's all right we're going to say good night and i'm done with being out there in the cold so uh plus i keep an eye on them and if they run out of food i make sure they get lots all right people see you later

Acres and acres of deforested farmland growing monoculture corn to supply a factory farm to raise pigs to feed a tiny fraction of the wildlife that the cornfield had supported before we did this to it.
