comments y'all put on there is just how much you hate the show but also can't stop watching it for whatever reason so of course i just had to check it out and see what the heck this is all about but kids show i mean it took three countries to make this three countries entire gdp all went to making this show how could it not be a masterpiece with a budget of like 700 trillion dollars so we start off with our main character marinette a half chinese half french 15ish year old girl living in paris but of course not just any paris you see this is everyone's like fantasy dream version of paris where there aren't like five million people lined up to see the eiffel tower every day and the city doesn't smell like someone just ate a bunch of asparagus and just like urinated everywhere anyway so marinette wakes up in the morning for her first day of high school got him mom i bet you anything chloe will be in my class again four years in a row is that possible definitely lucky me don't say that it's the start of a new year i'm sure everything will be just fine okay hold on a second you know i don't see any cereal or anything right here so like is she literally just making a bowl of chocolate milk for breakfast wait wait wait wait she's some kind of psychopath so now marinette's family runs a bakery and her roaded up monstrosity of a dad gives her a box of macaroons to take to school awesome i'm glad you like them thank you dad my class will love them you're the best we're the best thanks to your amazing designs [Music] see you tonight which is hilariously french in its own right but also can we just like i don't mean to be weird here but like i can't be the only one who's wondering how any of this even works right it's like when you see a picture of shaquille o'neal and his girlfriend you know you're just like i have so many questions anyway so marinette goes off to school but right outside her family's bakery she sees an old man walking across the street just about to get hit by a car but of course she's the only one who sees him because everyone else is too busy on the gosh john phones you know what i'm saying give me that what are we even looking at you need jesus thank you miss oh what a disaster don't worry i'm no stranger to disasters anyway so marinette goes off to school and barely makes it before the bell rings but then we get to meet another main character of our show chloe listen adrian's arriving today and since that's going to be his seat this is going to be my seat go on move hey who elected you queen of seats oh look sabrina we've got a little do-gooder in our classes here what are you gonna do super newbie shoot beans at me with your glasses wouldn't you like to know ah come on boy you know i sure am glad she trips and falls literally every five seconds in this show cause i was worried that she wasn't gonna be quirky relatable enough for me okay nowhere was there marinette oh yeah for those of you who don't yet know me i'm miss bustier miss bustier hey there kids i'm mr jockstrap welcome to gym class we then cut over to the aforementioned adrian who's also late to school because he's french what do you expect adrian please reconsider you know what your father wants but this is what i want to do [Music] thank you young man hey wait a second isn't that the same old man as before i'm starting to think this might not just be a regular old dude or maybe he's also just so quirky and relatable who knows he falls down all the time just like me anyway back at school the story finally gets going when ivan this chunkin hecker over here gets in trouble can head over to the library damn ivan what is going on it's kim i'm so gonna go to the principal's office emotions this is perfect just what i need oh you need negative emotions do you okay i mean i already did my daily morning three hour cry session but trust me i'm just getting started now this guy here is hawkmoth who's a bad guy in case you couldn't put that together yourselves and he does the totally not queen barrel from sailor moon thing of using people's negative emotions and turning them into like monsters or whatever [Music] fly away my little akuma and evilize him evil eyes you don't think that might be just a little on the nose there but yeah so ivan over here because he's all like gets turned into stoneheart whose superpower is being upset about life yeah okay i mean so was i but all i got out of it was a pile of simple plain mixtapes and notebooks full of poetry so bad you can make it into one of those youtuber books but hey sure whatever good for you ivan so now paris is under attack by this giant stone monster thing and no one can stop it i hate first days back at school huh what's this doing here now these little things here are called kwami and they are the artemis and luna of the show cause like how else you're supposed to sell a bunch of toys to kids or you know maladjusted adults apparently i still don't know what you're doing here look i'm a kwame i grant powers yours is the power of destruction got it now got anything to eat i'm starving sorry what oh yeah uh so your superpowers like the power to store the universe or whatever but anyway moving on from this topic now after calming down a bit marinette also starts taking in all this new information i'm your friend marinette you must trust me you're the only one who can stop stone heart this has to be some mistake the only superpower i could possibly have is super awkwardness you know there's just no subtext whatsoever in this show just write in your face dom text anyway so marinette gets these magic earrings that let her do a full-on not sailor moon transformation into this like ladybug spider-man suit thing and adrian transforms into no wait i haven't finished explaining [Music] okay i'm sorry but this dude's a dominatrix this show for tweens has a full-on leather bodysuit dominatrix is the main character just so many kids right now having their spring awakenings watching this show anyway so marinette is miraculous ladybug adrian is cat noir i am cinnamon and they head off to fight stoneheart so what's your plan [Music] don't resist trust me i'm sorry what don't resist trust me so after a bunch of yelling at about 38 one-liners later they defeat stoneheart and we find out that ivan was mad at kim because ivan's in love with this girl but he's scared to ask her out and kim was making fun of him for it but then marinette decides to offer him some of those words of wisdom advice things that girls gave when they really couldn't care less about your problems you know you should tell me len how you feel i don't know what you're talking about come on i saw the way you look at her oh what i mean is be positive you could draw her a picture send her flowers i could write her a song that's a great idea what girl wouldn't want to love songwritten especially for her go for it ivan and uh stay positive wait hold on what was that just now me in elementary school when they had those cardboard rectangle pizzas on fridays anyway the next day at school chloe is putting some gum on marinette's seat because girl power and adrian tries to take it off before she comes in hey what are you doing oh uh i okay i get it good job you three very funny no no i was just trying to take this off oh really you're friends with chloe right why do people keep saying that [Music] and so naturally now marinette hates adrian but thanks to their collective prosopagnosia they have no idea who each other really is now while this is all going on let's check in with ivan and see how things are going over there oh no i'm gonna be late ivan you scared me i made this for you and so now ivan is upset once again which wouldn't you know turns him back into stone heart again yeah so apparently the message of the show is uh don't have emotions ever about anything just be happy all the time no matter what good luck kids but you know this girl was doing who knows what in there and just ran right out didn't even pretend to wash your hands so like i don't know ivan i think he might have dodged a bullet here now because stoneheart came back marinette's all like oh no i can't do it i'm just a loser who's clumsy and awkward and quirky i could never save the world but then three minutes later she changes her mind and then and then that's it so then ladybug is all like and then stoneheart's all like and then cat noir is over here like and once again the day is saved ivan turns back into himself and once again he tries to get the girl of his dreams i think you two have things to talk about hmm maybe it would help if you read the lyrics to ivan's song so which youtuber's book did you pull this garbage from but anyway somehow now they're together yeah so the real moral of the story is like if the weird guy in school asks you out you should say yes because otherwise he might just kill everybody heaven forbid he keeps his own emotions in check right like nah ladies it's up to you to keep the peace and after saving paris twice from a kid who was slightly upset about not having a girlfriend adrian's all like dude ladybug's so hot but of course remember that marionette hates adrian so golly gee what's gonna happen there i just wanted you to know that i was only trying to take the chewing gum off your seat i swear [Music] see you tomorrow wait wait that's it that's all it takes all i had to do to get a girlfriend at high school was be thin rich good looking and display the absolute lowest amount of common courtesy why didn't anybody tell me and so now adrian is in love with ladybug but marinette is in love with adrian both of whom have inadvertently friend-zoned each other along the way and the show kind of goes on like this until you get through season three when the show goes from this love square thing into just like so good luck with all that hey guess what i have a new spanish channel that the show you know i just want to make it clear here that if you like the show that's fine like i'm not saying like no one should watch it or like it i mean you know people like what they like and that's all i find i watch the origins one and two and then i've also watched like two or three other episodes just to see like am i missing something do i just not get it i don't know despite all the jokes and stuff i mean it's fine like it's it's fine i guess you know i mean i obviously i'm not the target demographic because i'm not a 12 year old girl i don't know like watching the show there's some like weird messaging in it i'm just kind of like wait a minute like i don't i don't know if this is i don't know if this is the best thing but again if you like it that's fine not saying you shouldn't like it it's just it's just really dumb it's i mean here's the thing if it was just like a random cartoon show for kids that was on netflix or like whatever like yeah sure okay fine it's dumb it's not for me whatever but the thing that baffles me here and the reason why i made this video is because like miraculous ladybug is so big it's huge i mean i showed the google trends graph at the beginning of the video but like you know comparing it to like riverdale which is you know a very popular long-running show and comparing it to like harry potter like reckless ladybug is way above all of those like it's like the biggest thing right now and i'm just watching the show like how like what what is it about the show and reading the comments the people you know putting like the poll that i put and they're just like i love this show but i also hate it it's total garbage but can't stop watching and that's like 80 of the comments about the show that i've read everyone seems to hate
