in this video we play on minecraft uhc but you can craft armor out of rubies now rubies are a secret item that actually do exist in minecraft so this one is gonna be pretty op if you do enjoy this enjoy the video and here we go ladies and gentlemen as you saw in the intro in this video we are going to be crafting ruby armor now there is a little bit of a story behind ruby armor i guess we'll get into that as the video progresses but first off i need to find an actual nice biome let's hop over here we're going to go ahead and get all of our tools ready and you know what we're gonna do we're gonna go straight down into a cave oh actually that is not the truth in this video we're actually gonna need to get ourselves the items for an enchant table so let's uh let's go over here and get this stone really quick and just like that we are fully told up let's go all right we're ready to go down into the caves but first things first we've got to grab that enchant stuff so is there any sugarcane no there's never any sugarcane but yeah i guess while we look for this i can get a little bit into the story of rubies in minecraft now a lot of you you know i know there's some minecraft professionals out there watching this i know they're out there and i know that you probably already know this but rubies have actually always been in minecraft now that's pretty cool in my opinion but you might tell me will no that that's simply not the truth i've never seen a ruby and i play a lot of minecraft they've always been in the game and they were originally meant to be what emeralds are today so rubies were supposed to be the currency for trading with villagers which is kind of cool but obviously i've never minded ruby myself so i wanted to make it so we could make ruby armor i wanted to see what it could do so if you guys watch to the end of this video you are definitely going to find out what it can do and i'm pretty sure that it's going to be really cool because you know i try and make all of my custom crafts really cool someday i'm just going to run out of ideas all right let's sprint down the river fortunately we got some ice to move fast and i'm still oh we are right at the border and there are mobs here in plain daylight so we'll be going the other way okay cool so there's no sugar cane to be had it's a typical uhc isn't it okay here we go this is looking interesting what okay obsidian right near the surface creepers yeah it's a typical minecraft cave it's looking like a good one so let's get down here as quick as we can we're gonna want to take some iron because we need to be able to mine the rubies and we're also gonna want some armor you know just to avoid mobs because no doubt there's gonna be like 50 000 mobs down nope there's absolutely nothing down here okay somebody's left some free apples on the floor right here a lot of free apples i'm not gonna complain i will not complain i was there so many apples somebody really just got like 90 apples and left them on the ground for me okay i'm not gonna complain and there's a cave right here i don't doubt oh yeah of course somebody in the cave either way we're gonna go see what's down here hopefully it's something good and no this is not something oh wait a second wait a second the dead end trick is working it's working right oh it's working right now it is working indeed sweet we have ourselves a mine shaft this is becoming a repeat thing now i keep finding a lot of mine shafts i guess we're getting pretty lucky that means we can take some string we'll get ourselves a bow and a rod i guess i never normally get arrows so i don't know why i take enough string for a bow but either way it's nice to have it i'm gonna go past this skeleton come on don't hit me don't hit me okay you hit me you're dead though oh the skeletons we don't want to be in here right now we do need armor let's get this iron make sure we got ourselves some armor make sure it's safe it's safe block this up in case something decides it wants to jump on us all right we're good let's get out of here go go go go go just crafted another crafting bench that i didn't actually need i'm gonna make a chest plate and leggings and we'll get ourselves an iron pickaxe just like that there we go chestplate leggings iron pickaxe sweet and another case why the spawner that is not what you like to see that is though actually that would have been cool if this was the emerald armor video but it is not we do need to go deeper into the caves though so let's get down here we need to get closer to lava level that's where i learned that rubies spawn they spawn really close to lava level sort of like diamonds let's craft ourselves a bucket just to make sure we can be safe in the caves that means we're going to want to grab some water just like that and we're going to go this way instead oh man do i really want to go near this cave spider spawner probably not right okay let's do it okay this was a stupid idea this was a stupid idea run oh oh i see him i of course i ran into the only dead end in sight all right we're going and we're free no we're not no oh no oh i'm glad that they only woke up because i would have been dead right there i did not have any blocks to survive with okay that was freaky enough we're leaving we are leaving right now we are going down and out we are going to hit lava oh no no what what you have no no who else is hitting me this is not good this is not good right now leave me alone please i i crafted armor for a reason and this was it this was it all right we're safe we are safe and we found rubies just like that we got oh my gosh okay let me just uh mine this really quickly and there's a mob spawner right here okay everything is happening right now i need the game to calm down it's a golden apple it is a golden apple okay we got a golden apple is there another chest in the spawner there is not we're just going to leave it at that then we got a golden apple we got a little bit more iron let's mine our first rubies we found how many one two rubies okay cool it looks kind of like redstone but it's a ruby check that out okay we got just two rubies now in this video we can only craft ruby armor if you guys want us to do ruby tools this video is gonna have to reach 50 000 likes you guys managed to do it on the emerald armor and i did not expect that so we're gonna set that as a goal for this one let's see if ruby armor is as cool as emerald armor i'm pretty sure it's cooler oh we got diamonds right here you know i'm gonna take the diamonds because we do need the enchants come on please be enough yes one two three or it's not enough got to be kidding me we needed five okay we're gonna take a risk and we're gonna go back into the danger zone remember there was a lot of mobs over here yep they're still here we are falling very much behind on time i'm gonna get a little bit more armor just to be safe we don't want to die to creepers or anything of the sort just craft up a helmet and boots just like so keep moving keep moving that creeper is gonna try and blow us up oh there's two of you no oh no oh man oh this is not good this is not good this is why i made armor where is he well where is he he's dead okay there we go we've got more rubies more rubies just like that let's go one two it's a good amount it's three it's four just gonna make sure we don't get jumped on by mobs there's a lot of gold in here as well we got one ruby oh and lava right there that was really close okay i'm gonna risk it i'm gonna eat this golden apple i don't want to die we gotta stay alive let's grab our last couple rubies and buy our last couple and we've still gotta find a lot we still have to find okay we got more right here okay sweet that's two more here we go there's another one how many are we out we need 24 we have 10 we need 14 more we have another one right here please be a lot please be a lot please be a lot two more we got more rubies right here as well that's a great amount of rubies that's 18 we are so close we are so close to getting that 24. another one this is the perfect ravine diamonds next to rubies yo this is crazy we can actually get enchants as well i can make some diamond armor if we need to someone's already been here more rubies this way okay that's two more three more how many do we have now 23 we need one more there's two minutes until pvp and we need one more this is crazy i am flying through this mineshaft right now just hunting the there it is there it is it was being guarded by spider the whole time there it is there's the final one gonna get this gold right here we have apples galore as well and more rubies okay we'll take them delete our armor and now we're gonna make a full set of ruby armor just like yo look how cool that looks i can't wait to wear this just like that we are fully decked out in a ruby armor and it is protection for thorns one fire protection four and unbreaking three on all of the pieces yo okay this this just got interesting oh no no no i completely forgot about that feature i completely forgot about this feature this is not good and you take damage in water oh this is dangerous this is really bad right now i gotta just get out of the water and look right here i forgot how dangerous ruby armor actually is i'm stuck here i'm stuck here right now but it's okay we're gonna get our final heal in a second we did not get the stuff to get in chance but we do have the ability to make ourselves a diamond sword so let's do that we'll make ourselves a diamond sword we just gotta wait i guess we can also make ourselves the golden apples let's do that we've got four golden apples wow i started panicking for a second right there i forgot all of the abilities of the ruby armor but you guys just got a little glimpse of what it can do pvp starts in 10 seconds so uh yeah let's put this thing to the use here comes the final heal as well there it is thankfully okay here we go there we go we have target number one they are in three pieces of iron one piece of diamond and a diamond sword oh and they're in a crafting bench they do not expect that here we come in the full ruby armor they're gonna get it they are gonna get it here we go so whenever somebody attacks you when you're wearing ruby armor they get set on fire it's too hot to touch oh wow oh wow it's opie it's uh yeah it's pretty op that is a hidden effect of the ruby armor it spawns next to lava for a reason because it is super hot so it just sets anything that touches it on fire that means mobs players everything and i see a player in the background so uh let's go show them what this thing can do oh and they see me as well if you keep running i'm gonna have to zap you with fire i'm gonna have to do it don't make me do it all right i'm gonna do it i'm gonna do it here we go the fire trail is activated this is insane this is crazy look at the reach i can reach so far with it oh no i feel so bad i feel so bad i've just given him a fire bath and this guy as well they're both getting a fire bath right now okay that's smart i can't go in water but i can walk through the flames because this is protecting me from the fire right now here we go he wants to fight where did you get a shield from we don't have shields he'd be really smart to turn around and put water on me right now because it would damage me it definitely would okay there are two people right here right now there's i don't know how this guy has a shield shields just don't work in this version oh wow you should not have hit me it was a big mistake to hit me it was a big mistake we can fight in the fire if you like we can this is crazy so everybody without emerald armor just can't touch us they just explode oh and there's gracie with this ruby armor i think i've been saying emerald armor a lot because of the last video easy mistake to make okay this guy's a little bit far ahead of me so you know what i'm gonna have to do we're gonna have to crouch we're gonna have to activate the fire gaze just give him a little treat really quickly we could do it to the cows as well and the pigs oh my word this is crazy let's burn down this village as well i forgot we can totally this is so good we just burned down anything we look at i killed him with the fire i gotta be sure not to burn his items find that guy to death really quickly really casually i'm just kind of just casually burning this village down as well oh okay we have another target we haven't they just turned around instantly they said nope they just noped out here oh they got a bow if you try and shoot me with the bow you're gonna catch the flames it's as simple as that you can't just hit ruby armor like that oh we have a full diamond right here pretty much we'll call that full diamond oh they're fighting all right i'll set you both on fire in that case there's no fighting in my uhcs guys no fighting allowed i'm gonna do it i've dived into the water this was a bad idea this was a very bad idea get me out of the water please please oh this is bad this is really difficult actually should we take on another ruby player let's do it let's do it there she goes we can burn her but we all have fire protection for maxed out so it's a it's not very beneficial to be setting each other on fire it doesn't really do much damage but it is kind of crazy i need it to stop i need it to stop please relax it's crazy because to put the fire out you have to damage yourself with water so it doesn't really work unless you put your friends in water as well he knows it damages him we need to heal up right now there's a few people left in the game still including em and grazer who were just chilling over there in there full ruby i wonder how many times i've called ruby emerald in this video we just had someone suffocate in a war and we were closest to it happening so we're gonna claim this is a kill that's four kills guys remember that okay the final guy is chilling outside of the border how is that even possible are you stuck out there are you actually is he stuck i think he might be stuck oh he's stuck all right we're gonna set him up okay this is not cool someone is shooting me with fire at the same time i'm gonna take this opportunity to heal up the entire way because grazer yeah they've both got a bit more help than i did oh she's got the fire just like that if you hit someone i forgot that you get set on fire it's impossible it is impossible okay we're gonna actually get shredded right here we're gonna get shredded this is not good the fire hurts so much and the water hurt so much it's it's just self-destruction this is m what have you jumped in a pool of waterfalls now while we're fighting grazer is just hiding somewhere up on the hill waiting for us to damage each other wait for his fire gaze to activate it's gonna happen here it comes in three two one and there it is he's set the fire off okay crazy this is not cool i've activated my fire gaze as well oh this is a mess this is a mess okay i'm just gonna leave i'm just gonna leave i'm just gonna leave just like this emma graves are fighting let's get in on the tussle it's gonna be bad it is gonna be bad no matter what happens as soon as we touch each other wait if i hit someone wearing ruby armor with a rod it sets me on fire not cool not cool not cool i'm running that's it i'm coming back in i regret my decision i regret my decision please put me off okay someone's right behind me emma's she wants this kill i don't want any of them to kill me i'm gonna go up that's it i'm up i'm officially up now the fire gaze has a range of 15 blocks so what i'm gonna do i'm gonna use this as my turret for the fire gaze here we go i can just paint the floor with fire around them check this out i'm gonna write sub right there see sub two dingtong you guys can read that right right there on the ground this is something kingdom i can't reach them anymore i've set myself a fire no no no not like this not like this no please i'm not like this oh i'm half a heart i am half a heart i didn't realize that i didn't have any water up there this is not good okay so it's pretty much over for me right now so i'm going to take this opportunity to uh i'll show my video while i'm still alive if you guys did enjoy this video and you
