really really cool to do that so we'll hopefully be able to figure out a way to do it paula's a good ghost i don't know i this morning i i had a ghost that kept throwing bottles around in a bathroom and i got very terrified i had to turn the lights off and talk to it and he said he was going to murder me so that was fun would you join the coven or joel's colt i don't know i haven't been invited either who will get full nether at first flip or joel uh i depends on which one of us is uh not gonna die but that being said though it's night time in the in the world right now so how about we jump myself a diamond pickaxe i've got myself a diamond sword full iron everything else i have no more diamonds to my name and today i want to go diamond hunting we're going to be going out there and finding some good old diamonds diamonds uh so what i would like to do is bring a stack of oak log ah spruce logs because we have so many more and then i want to make a few more torches to get ourselves started and then we'll find some torches as we go that should be okay to keep us moving and we gotta get some we gotta get some food here i'm running very low i'm sorry cows i got it i got to start doing the murdering i got i'm sorry actually let's just use the iron axe that'll that'll insta-kill that'll insta-kill some that we don't have to worry about it sweeping we don't have fire aspect or looting or anything yet because what's enchanting it'll be all good though oh i think i just killed a baby just thinning the herd so we can actually move around in this area there are so many cows in here already i've all right we got 20 more robbie for ourselves we got 10 leather let's kill uh let's go four more there we go that should that should hopefully do it for us for today uh there's a lot of babies in there that i brought up this morning that'll grow up and then we'll be good kill a baby cow zoop why you that's evil why would you ever kill a baby cow uh let's do you and it's it's a great i like you screenshotted it is food really important uh in hardcore when you can starve to death yes and also we're gonna bring the bread because why not uh i'm gonna bring a stack of dirt with me so we can just place some things down if we need to uh three golden apples should keep us out of any trouble if any trouble arises we should be okay with three golden apples and i gotta say folks i'm very very happy is episode two for the series out no not yet i'll be out it'll be on the next few days i gotta finish up the last tiny little bit of it and then we'll be going i would suggest getting another right pick and sword as soon as possible i mean we got a diamond sword and pickaxe i think netherride i'm gonna put on armor first to be honest i think armor uh excuse me don't try and escape your home i think netherride armor for me is more important than getting netherite tools now the right tools don't mind much faster than anything else so i think if we can use the um we can use the netherra blah blah blah now the right stuff ingots that we get on making some really really op armor because that armor toughness is huge in hardcore because it means you can survive a creeper explosion even with enchanted stuff you can still survive a creeper explosion um like full diamond armor cannot survive a creeper and hardcore so we really got to be careful careful about creepers while we're doing all this stuff today but yeah it should be good are you going to combine the axes nah not really i don't really care too they don't they don't gain much durability it's just iron i have i have a bunch the cow head in the door tools are replaceable you're not exactly and i i'm not going to build a netherright anything until we have mending uh so hopefully we can find a village nearby us which will be good and then we can start bringing some villagers back here but as you can see i've already been doing a little bit of strip mining the first diamonds i found i started the strip mine here and i got to here this was the first diamonds everybody i'm so happy about that uh big wooly thanks so much for the prime sub dude i appreciate that how many diamonds so far five two for a sword three for a pickaxe i got nothing else uh so i'm thinking we can start just doing some little pokey pokey holes little pokey pokey hole right there pokey pokey pole hole right figuring out himself like go look up the mechanics of how things work and then figure out yourself from there i kind of want to do that i kind of want to see if we can do that sort of stuff i had a lot of fun designing the wither or the nether fortress farm that we did in building with whip and i was thinking it'd be kind of fun to do all that uh in like here and do everything like that as going but part of me is just like if we find a bunch of diamond veins like would it be worthwhile i this is what i got a question for y'all would it be worthwhile to get just enough so that we can make an enchanting uh we can say we can make like an enchanting setup and get that going and then we come back later and mine them all after we maybe get fortune would that be um would that be worth very important to get set up early so we can get like hoppers and things if we want to make any sort of auto smelting sorting anything system i feel like iron is a very important thing to have glad i three and a half years that's five years i don't think i can survive that in a hardcore world i will slip up before then for sure okay there's all that i got my bet on me still so we're good let's i'm not like terribly afraid of them like i i'm like what and then i'll be like oh it was kind of i get jump scared very easily which sucks because we're playing a jump scare game in uh 45 minutes so to the nether um fully enchanted diamond armor i want fully enchanted diamond armor before we even start to touch the nether best spider impression it's true though trudeau that's that's what the pickaxe and i haven't found a single diamond since and i have to go back to iron tools i'm gonna be very very upset i'm gonna be very sad if i have to go back to iron tools again would not be fun you had me so worried i thought your there was a spider behind me dude the impression's spot on right a flipper snapper is just a fan dude it's just just being a fan can you snap sometimes not on command takes a try or two apparently apparently i'm still terrified of this i feel like this is just gonna like trigger something and fall down normally if i play just regular survival i'd just be like yeah it's whatever and now in this one i'm just like anything that is bad check the big lava area you can use your water yeah that's where i'm headed back by the zombie spawner i'm so glad we mined this coal out though can you believe that just randomly mining a vein of coal and hearing zombies leads into zombie spawner like uh sweet i don't know if i feel mentally ready to convert this into an actual spawner and we need to go to the nether to do that because we need soul sand um but it could be worthwhile eventually to get like an early experience farm because since zombies don't float anymore we can't use the traditional way i guess we could just have them all funnel and then like move into a corner and drop down but we're at y level 11 so we can't drop them very far like it'd be a really really crappy experience for them they would just destroy tools so that's a big bummer oh kaomi that's so rough i don't think i would even attempt that i literally would you you are more brave than me i wouldn't even consider trying that i would just be like get that thing the heck away from me i don't want it i just want to light it on fire and that's about it okay um there's a lot of gold in the ceiling look at that it's a good thing we're not on x life with lava monsters that's that's a big that's a big reward oh lava monsters they were fun to deal with weren't they where'd you it's first time i've ever played it outside of that stream we did last week and it was rough yeah we're on a server uh it's just joel and i on right now this isn't like a hardcore smp or anything like that we literally after we recorded the building with whip tour um that came out on tuesday that one after we recorded that i was telling joel that was like hey i'm actually going to be starting a hardcore series and taking a break from this one and then he messaged me later and he was like random but i'm also starting a hardcore series would you like to do it together and i was like yeah that'd be really cool i was just like i kind of still want to run it solo and also i've already started uh and he was like well let's just take your world boot it up on a server and he's like i'll just settle like 4 000 blocks away so we're kind of in this place together uh boss man thanks so much for the 200 biddies dude don't die i'm trying my best over here okay i'm trying my best to start making multiple farms require a lot of bone meal my world i went looking for diamonds the next day and found two skeleton spawners within 100 blocks of each other hey awesome dude congrats uh you can not join sorry i'd love to see you guys build something together we probably will in the end that little area where we met up um to blah blah blah like the little meetup clip that we did that's basically like right in the middle between our bases so if we were to meet up it'll probably and build something together it'll probably be like a little market area around that is my guess but both of us want to go very building focus like i'm kind of treating it as if this is like building with flip but like just hardcore version what's up lc how you doing man good to see you hope you're enjoying the we're just doing some mining today because i needed diamonds and then i've been distracted by everything but diamonds uh obsidian i already have enough to make an enchanting table and actually get a the i've i found a old one of those ruined um nether portal frames that only needed two obsidian to fill it so we're gonna use that and that'll be all good there which is fantastic that doesn't need to be here it's all good it's not too bad i guess my girlfriend uh for a couple days after assuming her university city doesn't go into lockdown hey nice dude sounds like a good break from it all hopefully if you can make it over there [Music] strip mine or caves uh if you can find a good cave system down below like low low low underground then that's probably better for diamonds to be honest but it's hard to find cave systems that's like are down below all the time so after we get this coal we're going to jump back in and do some strip mining do some minecraft stripping it'll be great get everything hopefully i think i uh i i got my first diamond vein of five diamonds literally within um about 12 blocks of my first starting to uh stripping on screen scott that's for uh that's for the next stream that's that's in a half hour okay that'll just be me i'm just gonna hide in the corner and maybe the ghost won't kill me if i just i'm like sitting there just like he'll he'll feel bad for little while to play that it's gonna be fun sounds interesting yeah it's a you have to go like figure out what type of ghost it is and hopefully not be killed by the ghost and then yeah it's it's resource inside of minecraft don't let anybody tell you otherwise and maybe it can reveal some diamonds that would be great reveal maybe maybe anything maybe anything maybe please please something please just literally just anything i just instead of more dirt maybe maybe just some iron maybe uh coal a single piece of redstone a lapis anything no that's that's fine okay okay game that's that's haven't found more diamonds i swear we don't get diamonds i have to go back to iron i'll be you don't consistently strip mine well dude i'm i'm not i'm not i'm not a good i'm not a good miner my method of mining is usually get diamonds get enchanted and then just blow up everything but obviously i haven't been able to do that quite yet i'm debating on whether i should save this pickaxe with like one durability left or not because then we could maybe enchant it and get mending on it like later on and everything that would be kind of nice to have it's fine though oh yeah i do that yeah because i mean that'll save us three diamonds anything to save us some diamond count for later will be very nice and nothing and more nothingness are you excited for the new stone like blocks yeah so there's a common misconception going out there right now of that white block that's shown around the geodes like the the crystal areas that everybody's like so hyped up for that only spawns around the crystals like it only spawns literally around the geodes which one is awesome because it's really cool and unique but two it's gonna be super rare and hard to find so i'm super excited for it i'm so so very excited but everybody's like oh my gosh new stone type and it's just like yes new stone type but it's also gonna be a pain in the butt to get it's gonna take absolutely forever to get like it's not gonna be something you can build a castle out of wait what nothing behind this gravel what do you reveal besides great blocks to take home with me and i don't want anti any flint no flint no no no flint you your cat are watching the stream very nice early game gravel mining techniques everybody that's the only way to not get flint i've been using gravel to build with a lot it's kind of my pathway block cough creative mode yeah well true true true wish flint had another purpose i mean flint and steel arrows arrows are pretty useful the problem is is that after you get a skeleton farm you have more eras than you could ever need so i like flint does need more uses because how many flint and steel are you ever going to need inside of a game uh if you ever do need that you should just make it on breaking three flint and steel has a daytime it's daytime run away run away run away run away run away run away i can't can't believe we didn't get anything huh frustrating uh here oh we got a whole stack of it nice look how much iron i have all right maybe we can actually afford to make a few more iron pickaxes and go back down there we're gonna have cobble and anderset and
