closet back there is full of way too many flannels and i need to have an excuse to wear them so we have to bring back flannel fridays on fridays during the cold seasons you know it'll be great it'll be good it'll be awesome i'm doing great today how's the morning going so far morning is going great so far finished up tomorrow's x-life video is all done and that's amazing and then i've actually already finished up tuesday's hardcore video for next week which i'm super pumped about and then i'm excited to get in here for the stream today we got some cool stuff going on today um today the plan is the plan is to find a mesa biome because obviously next week's halloween spooky times and everything like that and so we need to do some sort of a pumpkin patch and a video for next week and i wanted red sand and smooth red sandstone so we're going to spend a while on today's stream why i'm doing this i don't know but we're going to try we are going to try and find a mesa i want to finish enchanting our gear today we've got a few more things that we got to enchant here uh we need to get our axe enchanted we need to get a shovel enchanted and then we're going to be going about there the foreign will be returned soon i hope it's going to be good we're going to be doing some adventuring stream streams gonna get spoilers again yeah streams are exclusive previews they're not spoilers fishing cavern well if we make a giant fishing cavern somewhere underground and turn it into our own type of a not a lush cave but we could maybe go lush cave or it's a big coral reef underwater like underwater coral reef where we make it look like this underwater cavern had been like it's like heated up like geothermal vents that are making this fishbowl magical and life inside of it and then i don't maybe the geothermal vents would not be a good idea because i would probably kill all of our tropical fish that we put in there but but we could do the rest of it and just make a big old coral reef in a big old custom cave that could be something we could do later on i think that'd be fun um how was your day day's going great so far it's only 10 30 in the morning here so it's awesome and and uh and i just got a spoiler for um somebody is working on a new building for the um the island project on x-life and it looks amazing all i'm saying is the buildings that are going to be starting to come here on the x-life stuff and the island beach town project is looking pretty great how's coda he's doing great today it's a little rainy here today he loves he's loving the cold weather he's just chilling he's last i saw him he was on the floor in our in our living room just like full on on his back just like i love this and just very very comfortable so he's good uh minion leopard thanks stuff i went into the nether a little bit more got some more courts for a future project that we've got going on here so that's awesome i'm back up to level 31 right now we got to make a new diamond axe for ourselves because i've already went through two of these i want to save them so we can chant them for everything later but right now those are both pretty dead but i want to save them talking about mending on them later and actually be able to use them so we're going to make a new one we're going to go enchant it hopefully we can get still to touch we don't get a fortune because i don't words are hard uh we'll start bringing back some of the uh building earth web streams like probably one a week or something like that or one every other week but right now i just i needed that break from it for a bit and then we'll come back later words flip words words are words are hard okay everybody's words are hard love flip streams because we respond so many comments i try i really do try i try i know i didn't do a great job of it yesterday uh but i really do try often to respond to comments i like words where is where doors are doors or jewelry or doing georgia doors they're very hard oh oh oh look at this look at this i started clearing out the area back here a future project that we're gonna do is uh in this point i'm gonna get a sugarcane farm setup over here so so we're going to get a whole we're we might work on this today if we can find the mesa and come back here but we're going to get a whole sugarcane plantation automatic farm thing set up though over there with a flying machine i also need to get a slime chunk so that's another thing that i think we need to start doing on stream is we have to try and clear out some areas to get slime chunks um but because currently my whole sugarcane operation is this and it uh it doesn't keep very well it doesn't it's not holding me over um i will say i'm working on getting villager trading things set up and ready to go and well it's um yeah it's not going that great so what we need to do first and foremost is i need to go get back to level 30 because i want to at least be able to enchant the shovel here too so i'm sorry we're zombie spawnering it up again today and then we're going over there your builds have inspired me to build a medieval world awesome dude gigabyte that's really cool flashy flashy flashy gap in the wall right there that little stare and slab opening thing that we have unfortunately unfortunately baby zombies can slide through there steal the awful pickles to us payback i've got a better plan i already gave him a fern once we're taking back the other fern we do so you might remember um two streams go three streams ago i uh we did get soaked i got soaked touch right here we got the silky smooth flip we're ready to go but you might remember a few streams back we did some exploring we found a desert nearby me and i went back last night and explored the entire thing i could not find a mesa but i was talking to joel and he has a desert biome to the west of him so we have to go to his base and then go further and so what we're going to do today is we're going to go try and explore that desert biome and hopefully find a mesa in there because i've explored at all of the warmer biomes to the east of me and i went about eight nine thousand blocks out from my base so i think we're gonna try going the other way this time and hopefully we can find something out there i'm not extremely hopeful today but if we can find it i would love that that would be amazing um because i desperately desperately need to get my hands on um red sand i i'm working on i'm working on a new build for like a halloween thing i want to do a big old pumpkin patch and i need some red sand for it uh coordinates on as far as hitting f3 we're playing on java edition so it's a little bit easier to do are you more introverted or extroverted 100 introverted 100 percent make maps to explore for mesa can you get carto can cartographers can't lead you to a biome right that's a modded thing that i have in x-life right because there's a cartography trade in x-life where you can i can't word today this is rough everybody i cannot wear today at all uh but there's a cartographer trade in x-life that can give you exploration maps will take you to a biome that's that's a modded thing right the only thing they can give us here is like woodland mansion maps and things like that right i've got a plan to get the foreign back don't you worry folks we'll get it back okay so that is modded got it words are hard okay everybody words are hard you know what if you think you're a trash can at least be the shiniest trash can you can all right you know sometimes sometimes you just gotta be a trash can but these rocky spiky pyre things to add like i don't want to just have big trees being taller like skinny structures in here if we can't no sorry flip i don't like them well hufflepuff hedgehog that's fine i like them myself crystals are cool sweet sweet i think i want to keep going to those i think what we need to do is we need to change these trees those trees need to be fixed i've got an idea that i want to kind of go with for the trees from one of my buddies drathmorg he's another streamer here on twitch he has he does a lot of world building stuff he's got these really cool like skinny super tall redwood trees i kind of want to take a little inspiration off of and make my own version of them but i think that could make it pretty good riverfox is thriving riverfox is going to be very important for us later on i just want to i want you all to know that you should add several colors to them when you add more yeah i'm thinking we do like a light blue in there and we maybe do like a those enchanted i want to put everything back that we possibly can i'ma bring a crafting table with us we're going to bring our bed with us we're going to bring some torches with us and then outside of that we'll get wood if we need it on the way that's fine we'll find wood we'll find coal if we need it on the way if we need more torches we got 42 stakes that should keep us through but folks it is time it is time to go on an adventure we ready ow stupid berries no no also the horse the horse now has a name would you all like to see the horse's name look at him look at him this is a this is a a quick quick silver we have quick silver over here we don't need a furnace yet because we're going to make a bunch of uh we're going to make a bunch of just sand stone and bring it back and we'll smelt it with us when we get back here but we need if we can find a mesa that's the goal find a mesa is goal number one but we gotta find a way back over to joel's place so if you all want to see the behind the scenes of playing in a hardcore world where we all decided to base two thousand blocks away from each other this is it everybody this is how we play this game this is the journey i went on out in the nether well gathering a little bit more courts and folks i'm just gonna say i'm not gonna spoil what's in the nether but we have a not safe netherspawn at all it's not not safe at all we will most likely die pretty quickly if we don't go in there prepared i did a little bit more scouting out i went like a little circle like 150 blocks seriously quicksilver come on quicksilver i went like 150 blocks out um in and then did like a little loop-de-loop to try and find some more quartz it's not good it's really not good i we're gonna i'm gonna try and get like a strider here soon so we can explore a little more because there's a lot of lava about me but it's yeah it's fine hoglands are the bane of my existence in the regular survival world so i'm very terrified for them here so we'll see how it goes how do you get your custom paintings it's a texture pack uh i don't have a texture pack built for bedrock edition i think somebody out there has ported it over but it's not something i control at all um i don't know if bedrock has the same issues with transparency that java does so java we had to i have oh my gosh hello quicksilver come on buddy uh i had to install an extra mod that one of my that's a i've never seen a black bunny before in minecraft what wait excuse me hello hello mr bunny did you do what look at this dude there can be full black bunnies in which means it's a warmer climate so the chance of finding a mesa is a little bit higher so we're gonna go over there i've already scouted all the deserts behind me like behind my base um and i couldn't find anything over there so i'm really hoping we can find a mesa on this side it's called an hmp no no we decided that's no hmb sounds weird well we're back at spawn right now so that's cool what's the definition of a smp survival multiplayer is what smp stands for basically it's survival multiplayer server but we are it's kind of what you call like the big ones like hermitcraft is an smp because it's a bunch of people playing multiplayer minecraft together um and like x-life is an smp it's a modded smp but it's an smp and then like legacy that's an smp all those any form of multiplayer minecraft is basically an smp now we can just venture on over all this stuff it's all good when my friends and i play hardcore smp if one dies we reset the world we play as a team though and with mods that's kind of fun that's like keep your team alive or everybody's out like then it's just like you yell at your friend timmy uh in this case or you yell you just yell at your friend jimmy who's just i don't know why i picked the name jimmy here but you're just like jimmy stop stop swimming in that pond without respiration okay but please just chill be smart about this don't die short names that don't really mean much and then they define the name for themselves type thing i was like so let's go with whip and then whip wasn't whip was taken already and i was like no somebody took my super cool name this is a fail and then i named myself fail whip because i was like somebody took my name so it's a fail and then then i just um shortened it to whip when i started a youtube channel because i figured fail whip was weird and flip is also weird i don't know why it's how it happens folks it's just it's the way it goes i'll say um so those of you that are hanging out on wednesday's stream when i was talking about the new tablet that i got one still super excited about it two i went on deviantart this morning which is a great website if you're looking for inspiration for anything and i found a bunch of custom brushes for photoshop so you can like change how the stylist draws and everything and oh my god i love them i was messing around with them a little bit earlier today and i finally found some cool brushes to use for drawing that i'm like so excited for so i'm gonna i i'm excited i've decided i'm gonna go back to the building with whip world here's the big plays also i don't my sweatshirt's like green screening out over here uh i'm going back to the building with whip world and i'm gonna take some screenshots of the world of like cool frames and things like that i'm gonna try and redraw those i'm gonna try and like basically sketch over the top of them and recreate them as my own thing because then i don't need to worry about color sampling because i hate color theory like i'm so terrible with that um i'm absolutely awful about picking colors to do anything with so joel's base is right over that way um and i think we just need to keep going past it and then we gotta go down a bit so i'm gonna do that and try and come up with some really cool drawings and things like that most of it i'm kind of prepping and getting screenshots ready for when i go to hawaii here in a few weeks i'm because we're just chilling at a house for a week down there i figured i needed some stuff to do like girlfriend's bringing a bunch of books to read and everything like that and i was like you know what i'm just gonna like i'm gonna take the week and learn how to draw better that's my goal for the week i'm gonna sit my butt in the sand hopefully not get any sand in my new surface that i bought and i'm gonna try and learn how to draw better will we see your drawings yeah faith when i get something i when i get something i feel like i'm ready to share i will definitely be posting it like instagram facebook and all that stuff um oh not facebook i never use facebook why did i say that word uh instagram and twitter i literally have never logged into facebook since high school um but yeah so i'm really excited for i'm really excited to kind of start learning how to do more artwork i think it'll help with my minecraft building too because i'm like really thinking about like shapes and everything like that and i'm really trying to use that to learn more about color and drawing and everything like that and then i'm actually you all are gonna be happy about this one i think uh if i don't kill myself by walking through a dark oak forest i'm going to jeez all right if we please don't suffocate to death but i'm going to a glasses store here later today uh no tomorrow sorry it's raining here so we're not going out today um but we're going tomorrow i'm going to look at some new glasses so i might get a new pair and i need to schedule an eye doctor appointment so i'm going to do that i'm going to do like the color blind test everything like that and see if i can't get a pair of color blind glasses for myself um that i could get to have on stream so i can actually see colors that would be great uh because everybody who doesn't know i'm pretty much like rhett i found out recently i'm very like red green colorblind and it sucks there's the desert though we've made it so joel's base is um right there so we got to figure our way around this let's go around the mountains up here so yeah we might i might do that and then after i get that after i get that figured out then i'm just like after i do that i want to spend time working with colors in minecraft i want to spend more time working with different minecraft colors because there's a few of them that i have a hard time like telling the difference of but yeah so i'm making it my goal of through i'm going to teach myself how to do digital art and drawing and everything like that a little bit better and then i want to learn more about color theory which is basically the idea of how to blend different colors together to make them look good and make a painting look good with like colors and things and i think i can bring that back into the minecraft building side of everything and make some really cool minecraft builds out of it and it'll be awesome i think i really want to learn how to draw landscapes landscapes and like cityscapes and things like that that's what i want to learn how to draw um so yeah i'm excited for it i think it'd be good how do you figure out your color blind uh i was playing i was playing a game with scott um and or we were playing wow or something we're just talking and i was like scott i can't tell the difference like can you i was like i'm stuck on this quest can you like tell me the difference between this and this and he was just like what do you mean it's so obvious and i was just like no like i legit can't tell the difference here and he was just like wait you know one of those he's like you're like this is that color that's that color it's like no like they look the same like this has always been hard to tell the difference of and he's like no he's like and then he sent me a link and he's like take this test right now and he's like share your screen on discord and take this test and i want to watch and then i took the test and i was just like i can't tell the difference between these at all he's like flip this is really bad um and then yeah so the test was like one of those online ones so we'll see i'm gonna go do like an actual eye doctor test but i'm like i i straight up could not tell the difference between it and they were playing phasmaphobia and i straight up could not tell you the difference between like the security cameras which were turned on and off and in among us you know how you know how in among us you have to do the wiring stuff so you have to connect like the the purple wire the blue wire and the red wire the purple and the blue or the purple and the pink blue and the pink whatever they are if you all watch me play among us and do that i will almost always get the wiring shapes the wiring wrong yeah now they added the shape so i do it correctly faith that's right but before i was almost always getting the wiring wrong i was almost always having to like redo it and check it out again hey look this is a pretty cool desert village though there's so many towers out here but yeah so i was like maybe maybe there is a uh yeah apparently i'm like partially colorblind never knew that i always had problems as a kid like telling the difference between like blues and purples so we'll see how it goes it's fine all right so we're in the desert now which is great there's a savannah over there which is awesome we already got some occasional saplings back at home um goal number one that we're out here folks uh first and foremost uh jay sini i think i for the team there but i would be fine what is your experience it's we're on a horse your experience bar disappears when you're on a horse because it turns into your jump bar kill the horse first dude which then the only thing that can spawn on those is zombie piglens and magma cubes and you can build it in a biome that would be um you build in the nether waist bomb and then magma cubes don't spawn there so the only thing that spawns a zombie piglens and then zombie piglens or zombies in general anything zombified in this game does not like turtle legs and so you can put a bunch of turtle eggs down and basically make them fall down a hole and then they die and then they drop gold and it's great all right there's some more desert over there let's keep scouting out that way because that'll keep taking us west what texture back may use it my own they get mad at the eggs they're like you know what this little thing's gonna be a baby one day and i just need to murder it that's that's what anything in this world that very is like super seasonal so i figured we could do a uh we could do a pumpkin patch i thought a pumpkin patch would be a good way to mix it up a little bit enough to be like this is halloween themed and we can just have fun with that you know you also get so much gold if you go into mine chef yeah i don't really i need iron more so than gold right now gold i'm pretty set on we've got a few blocks of gold from finding portals and things i don't have much use for it yet i'm also planning on building a gold farm in the near future i think we're gonna try and get to the nether roof and hardcore which um yeah that sounds great that's that's gonna be a fun challenge how do we get to the nether roof and hardcore without dying um yeah joel has an iron farm yeah i know i know i figured joel did the iron farm i'll do the gold farm and then i'll get piglin trading set up and i'll have automatic piglen trading from the gold farm that we will be setting up as well and then i'll be like i will trade you iron for all of these gold things and we can start our first trade route between our great nations of the hardcore landia world because i know he's gonna have way too much iron that he's not even gonna know what to do with here soon so i figured i could uh sneak on some of that okay so there's two stacks there's three there's two stacks of red sand stone right there for ourselves we're gonna have to smelt that down to smooth red sandstone but i think i'm just gonna go until we deplete this whole shovel unfortunately i'm gonna leave it at like a one really looking forward to go and do that meeting some creator friends as well as meeting some viewers and whatnot out there i thought that would be really cool we had a graduating class of 250. yeah my graduating class of high school was 124 students now there's 124 people in total i think only 118 ended up graduating from high school something like that yeah over double my graduating class private school yeah the private school life small classes i think that's full inventory unless why why am i holding one cactus and two stacks of sticks i don't need any of that that can be three three more stacks of terra cotta so we don't have to make this trip for a very long time or i take sticks home with me hmm i'm not gonna say what school i want to that's a little too private you know grad class was 18 people oh wow okay we're just gonna keep getting the rest of this stuff here you realize you never see flip in public because you live on the other side of the world that's how it goes it's how it's how it goes i think the thing i'm not looking forward to right now folks is uh you know how we made it all the way out here it took us an hour to get all the way out here we have to get back home i think getting back home would be a little bit easier because we know which way we're going uh ricky you can do whatever you would like man can i ask a question you just did that joke am i funny please tell me i'm funny the grad class will end up being 90 people probably or less because it's such a small school yeah it happens you have a server i have a patreon server i don't have a public server but for people who support me on patreon i do have a server available for them to hang out in okay that is enough terra cotta i think to keep me for a good while because we can dye that any color that we want so we can die like green i can also make some orange concrete some green concrete and all those things and mix it up from there but i think you know what i'm gonna get another stack of orange terracotta and i'm gonna drop this emerald because there's orange terracotta over in the side of these things so i think we can find a strip like right down in here do i have a way to get crawling i don't think i do on me bummer i don't think i'm ever going to use this gray terracotta great terracotta has a weird bit of a color to it so i'm not going to use it but let's just take it back in here we will pick up i don't want i want you i want the orange orange please we'll fill up this stack of orange and then we will head back home everything else on me i think i want to keep at this point in time uh superman congrats on congrats on the graduation coming up that's cool okay button drops a stack uh shift q on java edition there we go sorry whoever is out here next will be another block all right everybody don't don't do that don't please don't leave my chat see oh it's oh they changed the name to eroded badlands oh no it's not named after me anymore it used to be the bryce mesa no oh man i thought i had a biome named after me they changed it it used to be the bryce mesa that was it was that was my biome there everybody it was my bio they ruined everything what's a bryce mesa it used to be the name for that type of a biome in minecraft it was based off of i think it's bryce canyon which is down in california um that's just kind of very spiky spiky spiky oh is it in utah okay yeah i i've always want to make it out there and go check it out i never have i still have not had the chance to okay we are uh uh did you see me dodge that hole oh professional why not the grand canyon i've been to the grand canyon already grand canyon's awesome i went to um my story of going to the grand canyon was my buddy and i we were seniors in high school we decided back when like in washington seattle area we get like a mid-winter break i know not everywhere does it but you basically you get a week off in like february back in high school um it was like january february time you get a week off and so we had the week off and we're like what do we do and he was just like well what if we go on a road trip like let's go on a road trip like he he just got a brand new car and he was like i'm so excited to go do it he got like a he his parents he was very fortunate his parents bought him a mercedes um so he was like i want to go drive it all over the place um and so he was like what if we go on a road trip and i was like okay i don't have anything else to do like i don't have i'll just skip water polo practice for the week it'll be fine um and so we got we were just like let's go on a road trip we don't know where we're going and he was like let's drive down the coast of california so we did that we ended up in san diego uh where my brother was going to college and so we crashed on my brother's couch in san diego for a night and then after that we're like what if we um well if we go to the like go to the grand canyon like what if we just go to the grand canyon for like two days we brought camping stuff with us let's just go camp at the grand canyon and so we did that we drove all the way out to arizona not really thinking how far it was after we just did a 24 hour like straight car ride i think it was 22 hours and like 40 minutes was our trip from seattle down to san diego straight we stopped in san francisco and grabbed dinner there and just kind of toured around san francisco for a little while which was awesome it was so fun seeing it that was first time i'd ever been down there um and then we just kept driving we drove all the way down to san diego did all that stuff and then we got down there and decided to go out to grand canyon because we're like oh it's arizona it'll be warm it'll be super cool we can go check it out if anybody's been there in january february time you'll probably know that uh it was new to me back then it can snow in the grand canyon never knew that i always thought it's in arizona arizona doesn't have snow that's not possible so we get out to the grand canyon and everybody out there in the campgrounds and everything that we're staying at has their rvs their uh camper vans all that type of stuff and their little generators plug in to heat everything up and all that stuff and we get out there with like nice like summer quality sleeping bags and everything like oh oh horsey goodbye and not super warm sleeping bags we get a tent and we get there we arrive at like 10 p.m at night and we're like oh my gosh there's snow on horse horse i would prefer if you come back down to the ground horse quicksilver i did not know you had the bill okay there we go he has ascended back to the story time as we travel back home we got there at about 10 p.m at night it was great had a fantastic time jordan driving all the way out there in the middle of the dark it was great fantastic and we get there and we're like okay let's set up the tent and just deal with the snow we'll just brush off a little area it'll be fine we'll clear that out and we'll put the tent down and everything and we set up the tent as best as we could and then we're like oh my gosh where are the tent poles to tie up the tent so it actually you know can be a tent and everything like that and um we forgot the tent poles back in back in seattle we didn't bring any tent poles for our tent we're very very um intelligent high schoolers over here okay everybody camping's going great at this point it's 10 p.m we've had over the last two days we've had like 30 hours in a car so good so good we forgot the tent poles but we brought rope we had a rope and so we did we had the top of the tent we tied it to a tree right above us and then we tied the sides to other trees so it kind of was like a little bit of like a teepee almost really inefficient really ineffective not the best and so we did that and just crawled in it and just slept for the night in like these really not warm sleeping bags and um a broken-down tent that did not have any tentpoles and anything like that and we woke up in the morning and it snowed even more overnight so when we got there there was like a nice little dusting of snow it was fine it was cool um and we're like there's no way it'll snow tonight the sky's so clear it'll be great and so we didn't put the rain cover on the top of the tent because we're dumb um why don't you sleep in the car you know marcia i don't know i we were dumb we wanted to sleep and look at the stars and we're like we have sleeping bags it'll be fine and so we wake up in the morning after not putting the rain cover on the tent which if you know what that does it leaves the top so you can like look outside and get some air and better airflow and everything like that and it snowed on top of us while we were sleeping see we got a nice little bit of insulation throughout the night we had about like half an inch of snow on top of us inside of the tent and not not my brightest moment that was the first and last time i ever did that and yeah so that was uh that's been part of my camping experience in the grand canyon and then it was amazing because actually after oh my god it's a donkey and a baby donkey oh look at that are you dunky jeremy are you guys are you a jeremy are you a jeremy no no cool okay we won't tell joe it was a learning experience exactly great learning experience but we did all that that was great fantastic had an awesome time awesome time but we woke up in the morning and then just started we ended up hiking down to the grand canyon and it was amazing it was so cool seeing it in the snow like in like all the pictures you see of the grand canyon they're usually the summer they're like those fantastic oranges and golds and everything like that awesome have you watched the update video for mcc oh scott thank you so very much for the five months dude i've not watched the video yet i will get to that one here soon um i'll def i'll do that before the end of the stream um but yeah so we're we got up we went and hiked down to the edge of the grand canyon to go check it out and everything like that but hi scott how you doing um and we were we got down there it was amazing because it was all of those like colors that you see in pictures of the grand canyon with like the golden rays of sunlight over it just looks so beautiful it was a great clear day but the entire thing was covered in snow the entire like grand canyon everything that wasn't like the steep steep cliff faces was just covered in snow and it was the most amazing thing i think i've ever seen so it's just such a weird experience trying to sleep there the night before in just a bad bad situation of sleeping outside in the snow with a broken tent and not good sleeping bags and then like waking up in the morning to see that was oh my god it was so good yeah it was like powdered sugar dusted across the entire thing it was glorious we ended up spending like two or three days there just because it was so awesome and then over the few days the snow melted and cleared up and everything like that so we got to see like the grand canyon covered in snow and then also just completely like clear and everything and because it was the winter the rivers still had water and were flowing through all of it it was awesome awesome awesome awesome uh we need to go farther north otherwise we're going to ditch the horse yeah that's that's my uh story of going to the grand canyon we would have loved to see that when when i was kid back in the middle of august in arizona yeah no it's rough man it's rough scott after i get back home uh i'll watch the mcc update video but for now i got to focus on finding my way back home i found a mesa though if you want a mesa in the hardcore world it's it's far away but we found one the grand canyon was so sweet though i would love to go back i would love to go back and visit it but i i think i want to get to um i want to get to bryce canyon because you know it's named after me and everything like that so i feel i feel like i gotta visit my canyon you know if they took the time to name one after me i probably should get out there uh hey desert well one of the most useless structures in minecraft look at this wow but what's that zion i want to get to zion zion national park seems amazing when did grand canyon over thanksgiving five years ago very cool very cool can you say happy birthday happy birthday panda a whole flip national park i know right i'm so spoiled i i mean i guess i am famous they named the park after me wow it's all good went to zion over the summer it was insane i feel like that one like the grand canyon was amazing because it's just massive it's just like oh my how could something like that insanely large exist but i feel like the pictures i've seen in zion and things like that are just like just the it's smaller but it's just like it's just so much more amazingness crammed into one little spot that's what i want to see i think that would be an awesome park to go check out i i had the chance to dodging the ravine i had the chance to go to um wow what i'm blank on the name uh well a month ago i went out to the rockies i was out in colorado for a bachelor party for some friends and i went and hiked into the rockies for the first time that was awesome um that was really really cool and then i also had what's that big park in california i really should remember this um there's that park in like nor no the yellowstone star in california um but i went out there it says that like big rock that people yosemite yeah thank you i went out there a few summers ago with my dad and we went and camped in it for a while and that was awesome i got a cra ooh i got a crazy story about yosemite watch the coordinates i know i'm watching them where joel's base is like probably right up this way but i've got a fun story about uh i saw half dome i did i didn't hike it but i saw it yeah half dome was amazing to see in person that was really cool um but my story about uh yosemite is my dad and i went out there i was staying in california for a summer to do some summer courses just to catch up because i changed my major halfway through college and so i needed to do some extra courses and everything like that and so we stayed in he came down for a bit so we could hang out and everything and we went out to the grand canyon no yosemite words stories hard words are hard um and we went out to the grain no wrong wrong name again we went out to yosemite to go explore because neither of us had ever been there we thought it would be amazing he brought all the camping stuff down that we had at home and everything so we're just going to do that get everything get some food go out in there and do all of our stuff and just hang out for a few days and so we hike in we get all the way up this ridge that's like it's like a it's like a 15 or 20 mile round trip so we're gonna go around it over the course of like three days and just kind of work our way around and do all that have a lot of fun with it and just camp out wherever we stop at the end of the day when we're like yeah we're tired of hiking let's just stop here we'd find a place to camp and call it good on the first night that we went up we kind of camped on the edge of this cliff there was a very sheer drop um so we're about 300 yards back from it we found this little grove by a creek bed that we could get like filtered water out of and everything like that so we don't have to worry about anything and we did that it was awesome it was great and we were just hanging out and looking at the stars and everything and then at like i think it was 2 a.m or 3 a.m something like that just pitch black dark outside all these spotlights started shining and we woke up to a helicopter like above us like a helicopter straight above us and just the helicopter blades whirling and making crazy sound and these guys were rappelling out of the helicopter down to like basically 100 yards away from us and so we woke up and we are freaked out we were like what the heck is going on uh like why are people in a helicopter landing next to us are we not supposed to be camping here is something going on is there a bear in the area that we need to be aware of they're trying to save us is somebody out here doing weird things and it turns out that some dude in the area and apparently it's a big thing that people do is they like to climb up the cliffs in the area late at night they like to do that and then they sleep on the cliffs and wake up early in the morning and then they finish hiking or climbing the rest way up the cliff so they spend like the night on a sleeping bed that like attaches into the wall and sticks out and everything like that which is a big thing for uh climbers and everything like that so anyways my horse disappeared no it's right here look at all those runes down there those things look really cool um so they do that and we found out that it was a rescue crew that had come up and we need we gotta keep where am i going i feel like i have not i'm i'mma look up the no oh there's a coral reef okay we just gotta get around this way and then i'll loop back is that joel's base should be right up yeah okay joel's base is by that dark of course cool back on track here back to the story um we were up there and we were trying to figure out what the heck's going on and like 10 people got out of this helicopter and well i'm talking to helicopter i'm talking like a big one with the the two twin blades not just like a little one like this is like a big deal rescue helicopter going around doing its thing and just that's it's just doing everything up there doing all the stuff and whatnot and it was crazy to watch and like do this whole thing there is a full-on rescue mission happening uh our code i think so very much before the five month resub dude but there's a whole rescue mission happening because this guy tried to climb up at night and then decided that he wanted to instead of sleeping on the edge he decided to keep climbing and he got almost all the way to the top and unfortunately fell back down the cliff which was like a it was about a 300 it was probably like a 500 600 yard like feet tall cliff something like that big one pretty big like few hours of climbing so he got all the way to the top almost and then fell down and got stuck on a branch thankfully he didn't fall all the way he fell about 200 yards and got caught on a branch but he was really injured down there and couldn't climb back up i think he ended up breaking his back or something like that um because we ended up going back to the ranger station in the morning and like just being like hey we were up there and like this is what we saw happening blah blah blah just and they're like oh yeah he's in the hospital right now but he's safe he'll recover and be fine but he ended up breaking his back falling off and landing on this branch so they had this full-on rescue mission of the helicopters up there they're all landing there they've set up these spotlights everywhere and i'm like shining them into the woods and make sure nothing else is coming around so no because the lights obviously are attracting animals and things like that and everything up there and so it's like 2 a.m we're up there just hanging out doing our thing we've been fast asleep and all of a sudden like all these spotlights start shining around us and it was insane but we've got to watch a whole rescue mission of like this crew of the park the park rangers and like the extreme rescue people up there for the people climbing half dome and everything like that we got to watch all that live in action of like them rappelling down the cliff to save this guy then carrying him back up and everything it was so interesting to watch i like i felt so bad for the guy like he was not the most intelligent person to be climbing that alone at night anyways like the only reason we found out the only reason that the rescue people were called was somebody else's camping like a few hundred yards away from us that was closer to where the guy fell down and they heard him they woke up to hearing somebody scream as they felt as he fell backwards and so they woke up and they called the park rangers like they had a radio and got in contact with them and everything like that so they could even get up there i was like that's it was crazy it was like a very eye-opening experience like we are out here in the middle of nowhere the only way people can get up to us is by helicopter if anything happened but it was uh it was an interesting experience being up there that was uh that was night one of our little three-day camping journey through yosemite it was quite insane but then we got to do the rest of like walking through the park we went up and buy a few of the mountain lakes in there walked back down by half dome and everything like that it was it was a really cool trip it was a really really cool trip um but yeah that's that's the story and now we're back almost home to uh the main continent we're no longer in desert landia yeah it was uh it's been cool i've had a i've i've done a lot of like hiking and camping over the past um had a lot in like run-ins with like mountain goats like angry mountain goats i've been chased by a mountain goat a few times unfortunately um and then we probably want to avoid this dark oak foresting as we almost suffocated to death last time trying to run through it um like mountain lions and things like that i run it i've never had issues with bears i've seen a few like black bears from like distances away but never had any issues with them like coming towards us or i thankfully have never seen any large black bears and cubs around so that's either really good or really bad if you ever the one tip i will tell you if anybody ever wants to get into hiking or camping or anything like that if you ever see a bear always look for cubs and make sure you are nowhere near them or in between the bear and the cubs if you ever see that get out of there because that's a that's the worst place you can ever be in is it being in between a mom and bear and her cubs i will say that if anybody here is familiar with hiking or camping or anything like that that is the absolute worst place to be is in between a mama bear and her cubs but yeah now that we're making our way back home let's just skirt along the edge of this river that'd be good especially grizzlies oh totally i've never seen a grizzly in person i've only seen black bears in person hey inviticus no worries dude thanks for hanging saw a cub last year and got away quickly yeah if you see just bear cubs that's when it's like real scary because you're like oh god where's the where's the mom beat it a sandwich don't do that no that's that's what you don't want to do the mountain lions have cubs they'll attack you yeah any animal with cubs or babies around it you just don't want to go near just don't go near them uh blackberries will mess you up pretty good too if their cubs are yeah no just any anyone any animal when there's cubs around or anything like that they usually you don't want to go near them and no nope berries stupid berries all right we've got a long way to go to get back home um we got to keep going that way can we get across right here oh it's a little crossing yes they should add uh brown bears minecraft it would be cool that embarrassing minecraft i also understand why they don't we don't need i don't want minecraft to add animals to the game that are like hostile you know because like a bear like we have polar bears in the game and so i guess we already have bears in the game so brown bears won't be that different but i don't like real animals being added into minecraft if then they turn into hostile animals if that makes sense like the polar bears being in the game is cool um and they'll only do anything to you if you're actually in between them and their cubs that's the only time they get hostile unless you bug them first but it's all good what was the adventure for we got a bunch of red sand we got a bunch of terracotta we found a mesa today what's up gabby how you doing talked to a guy who had a crewmate got mulled by a bear yeah i mean they're vicious they're so vicious my brother um this summer he had the opportunity to go work on a small like private owned uh like cruise not cruise like yacht up in alaska so the whole summer he kept sending me pictures of bears that he saw like while they're like kayaking around and because of kovid all of the major cruise ships like the big like thousands of thousands of people cruise ships that go up to alaska typically they weren't allowed up there because alaska is like hard quarantining so very very small groups of people were allowed up and if you if you flew into alaska you have it was like a two weeks hard quarantine so basically the people would get on the boat with them and then they wouldn't be allowed off the boat anywhere unless it was like in nature with no people around um so they just kept going out to all these really cool locations like hot springs and stuff like that to go check out but then they do a lot of kayaking trips and the amount of bears and wildlife and things like that that they saw just out there because all the cruise liners weren't in the area so like the orca whales and everything were way more popular around the area all the bears were out in the area and just the pictures that he showed me were so cool but yeah it was uh like alaska this summer if anybody in chat lives up there i'm sure you can uh you can vouch that there's a lot more wild animals moving around once in minecraft i chased a polar bear club not realizing the mama bear would attack me then i died yeah um don't chase cubs real life or in minecraft my horse is amazing it can fly across trees those are those are my good stories for the day those are those are the ones i got for y'all i'm running out of stories all i do is sit in my office and play minecraft all day i'm running out of good stories i've shared them all i've shared too many i have no more there's that village this is a good village this is a good checkpoint i'm finding our way back home isn't alaska always in quarantine alaska is a vast marisa um i mean it's not always in quarantine no but the reason why they've they're doing a hard quarantine for covet and everything is because it's so big and because there's so many remote places that people don't have easy access up there to get to a hospital so when you have a thing like a pandemic going on and they're already limited on hospitals and transportation to be able to get to them it's a million times more dangerous up there just because there's a lot of towns in the area that like their closest hospital is like a three four hour drive away so when you think about that and you think about like oh just willy-nilly go up there blah blah blah and then people get infected like it's hard to get them the health care that they need and the help that they need to recover from it so that's why they've been doing a hard really really hard quarantine and alaska is one of the better places right now to be in just because of it like they've been very very smart about it which is really cool to know in here joey i don't know anywhere where you've learned that i don't think that's true at all lived in alaska for seven years that was your real home hey awesome i've always wanted to make it up there always wanted to make it up there uh philip thanks for watching the 100 bitties i appreciate that yeah uh when i was uh my one of my grandparents they were a tugboat captain and so they did like long-haul tugboat stuff from seattle area up to alaska so they used to take like tugboats of like gravel barges and things from like seattle all the way up to alaska and back like constantly like that was their job so they do that all summer long uh and just so so many pictures like old old pictures of like alaska and everything that were so cool to see and hear about maybe one day i'll make it up there maybe one day there's a little it rains a lot more up there like alaska weather the one thing i have heard about a lot is you never know what's going to happen and it's not forgiving at all brent used to have to call into work for bears that roamed in his neighborhood you ever get bees will you name one after me faith you want to be named after a bee i need to get a greenhouse i want to get a greenhouse set up and get like a little automated like villager crop farm in there i thought i thought a little village or greenhouse could be a cool way to go uh and get something that would we can have a few bees flying across the top that can help things grow faster and we'll get some villagers that'll just auto produce like carrots and potatoes for us i think that'd be good somebody in seattle talking about it raining a lot somewhere else hey i'm just saying i didn't say it doesn't rain a lot here i'm just saying rain's a lot there also if you're here earlier in the stream you you'd know that i said oh we're not going out to doing anything today because it's raining here all right where are we here now can we get on home soon this quick it was never intended to be a quick journey but there's a journey to find a mesa it's uh it's taking a long time everybody nice weather we're having ain't it i feel like i should not have come here under the water you have the same mic as jim yeah she was asking for recommendations from people a while ago and i told her about this one it's a fantastic microphone i love this thing i've had this for about a year now when i went full time i i gave myself a congratulation present of you now do youtube full-time and i bought myself a whole new audio setup and it was a great idea i love this thing my old microphone was not great at all compared to this i really want to get a new audio interface something a little bit more technical than the one i have i just didn't know how to use them very well back then like so i didn't want to get something too complicated for myself but maybe i'll get i'll get one here probably next year or so we will see i have so many discord notifications holy cow i gotta check discord after we get back home what do you think about the upcoming minecraft update i'm so excited caves and cliffs is gonna be amazing i'm so very excited for that it's making me want to if you all can't tell we did an entire episode in the hardcore world of building a mine and a big old mine shaft entrance area which was really fun and now i want to build a whole underground cave system that i've talked about in minecraft so we can have like underground tunnels to get between all of our bases and everything which i think is going to be great and then on top of that that's a death cliff right there uh i've been talking about wanting to now do an underground tropical fish fishing cavern um i think we're back at world spawn i think this is world spawn right here so if you can't tell i'm a little excited about caves can you talk more about the update i don't have any more information than you all so anything that you all have seen is the same information i have at this point i'm super excited i think the lush caves are gonna be awesome what i want to do is i'm gonna take a lush cave and then i'm gonna take the stalactites and stock mites from the drip stone caves and combine them together i'm gonna do like a merger of the two and i think i can make something really cool so i think i think when we get around to having those snapshots and updates and things that come out i want to i think i'm gonna do some videos on like creating custom caves and like how to improve them a little bit further and exploring them and everything like that i'm really excited about caves and cave bases and stuff i've always liked doing those but they're kind of weird to make sometimes so i'm kind of excited about it when everybody's very hyped up about cave bases for me i'm just like yeah the axolotls will be cool axolotls will be really fun to go i mean as for 2021 would you rather have it release now and be very buggy and not work well or would you rather have them take the time on it and release it next summer and it's going to be a good release i think that's for me i would rather wait until next summer and have it be a very well done release of everything instead of them putting it out now and us being like this is no that's not good because i think i think it'll be worth the wait i think this is where minecraft shines and mojang shines as a development studio they've been really learning recently like their strengths of developers and i love that because if you look at like all the triple a titles and things like that the color duties that are coming out are like cyberpunk 2077 that's releasing soon a lot of them are doing like the crunch periods of like we have to get this thing out now like this is the date we have to stick to it and like blizzard did that for a long time too and like i'm loving that game studios are starting to realize that like that's not good fans don't like that they don't like a game just being released and then it being bad so i really i have a lot of respect for mojang being like yeah sorry this is the new update but like we want to make sure we do it right so we're going to release it when it's ready so like that to give us enough time it's going to be next summer if you think about it they've already been working on it basically since the nether update was finished i'm sure part of their team has been legitimately working on this since the nether update was finished or since um the like even probably before the nether update was finished their team was probably starting to work on this stuff and the fact that they're now like just being like yeah we still need another year because we want to make sure it's perfect i have a lot of respect for that i think that's really cool because there's so much changing in the game could you imagine if it gets released and the cave generation looks awful like that would suck then everybody's like we want old caves back that would be really really sad for the caves and cliffs update the caves update in minecraft i feel like has been the most anticipated thing in the game so if it if it isn't done well that's gonna be very bad so i'm very thankful that they're taking a lot of time to do it and the way it'll give it some more hype y'all will come up with some great project ideas for what you all want to build and i can come up with some great project ideas for what i want to build and it'll be cool be cool if your transform entire village fix houses make better farms out of town hall i don't i like i like taking villagers and doing my own thing i've done village transformations twice in the past i did one in 114 when the village village update released which was fun but i think i like to kind of take the villagers out of it and make my own village which is kind of what we're doing here in this world like i'm slowly making my own village as feather falling on the boots that's okay it'll be fine um and then yeah um i want to get feather falling on the boots i want to get a new shovel i want to get another axe so we can get on breaking on it or maybe silk touch on it that would be i would prefer on breaking right now but silk touch on an axe and silk touch on the shovels would be fantastic but we'll get there when we get there for now let's just focus on replanting the fields i want to keep building up our stores of seeds and everything so we can keep expanding these fields because i think that's going to be awesome to have a bunch of huge fields and everything like that i've been starting to clear out a bunch of space behind the windmill up here because i think it'd be really fun to expand the fields backwards on this side a little bit further and i want to put like the pumpkin patch is going to go back in this area it'll be super cool and then i also want to spend some time putting some more wheat fields in some more carrot fields more potato fields and just making it look really cool and then also i haven't decided yet i'm actually curious to know what you all got to say on this one so i've been started messing with villagers right as we as we have to get super op in the hardcore world um should i put all of the villagers on this side of the river or should i bring some of them like the farmer villagers over to this side of the river what game is that sub sound from uh it's final fantasy originally it's the final fantasy victory sound i remember it from world of warcraft if you use um spread them out both sides it'll probably help with lag if we do both sides too but in world war crouch if you've done any raiding uh there's an add-on for world warcraft called deadly boss mods and that's the victory sound when you kill something when you kill a boss so for me it's always that's always been the the world of warcraft like raid victory sound because i've never really played final fantasy i know that's where it's from originally bring the farmers to the other side yeah it's probably a better idea to do that that'll also help reduce the pillage response in here too because i've been fighting a few too many pillagers sweet there's that field replay into i know i didn't harvest everything off to the side but that's fine tell me when you start to stream that lovely game i've never played it i've never really played final fantasy uh this is all of the hay and the seeds and there's our potatoes there's a beetroot there's our carrots okay let's come down here i think i might put the auto farm for the carrots and potatoes off to this side but i think for efficiency's sake i might have the items transported via like water underwater tubes over to this area and then we can get a second like the ultimate emerald trading module where we can just do mass emerald production i think that would be kind of fun i think that'd be kind of a cool thing i really want to get into the technical side of minecraft with this area i'm not saying i want to build like mumbo jumbo style things but i want to i want to enjoy the minecrafty side of this game instead of just the building side of it like the goal of this hardcore series here is enjoy pretty much everything we can in minecraft like every aspect of minecraft i want to start learning more about or just doing things with and i think it'd be really really cool so that's what this whole series is about for me we're doing it in hardcore for one so i'm a little bit more careful about not dying um and then two is i want to experience more about like the minecrafty side of things instead of just building really big pretty things i want to build really big pretty things that also have function of them i think it'd be great kind of like what we did with the mine entrance how we have the item elevator in the middle of it i think that would be cool i think before you go to the end make a gunpowder farm yeah that'd be great and all uh off i've been actually one thing that we're gonna start on a stream here soon is we're gonna start working on digging out of mob farm i am uh starting to be in need of more bone meal than i can produce and i figured it'd be kind of cool to do like a big old mob farm so we're gonna start one of those here in the nearest future i know where i'm gonna put it too you all are gonna love it i've talked i i think i've talked about building a mountain before have i mentioned the mountain project yet yes i know scott used the wall design totally fine with me i didn't come up with originally i but anyways we're gonna do a custom mountain if you all didn't know uh a single mountain not a mountain range just a mountain and that's one reason why i want feather falling because i want that before i even attempt it and it's gonna go you see those mountains right back there you see that those are gonna be custom mountains and inside of one of those is going to be a mob farm like a fully functional mob farm and i'm so excited for it i think it'll be awesome i think it's going to be great it's i want to go with a new style of mountains a little similar to the ones i've done so far but i want to go a little bit more like fantasy aspect to them but i think like we have our village down here and everything right and then up there we have like almost like an alps like alps and swiss alps inspired mountains like sticking up out of those and then we'll probably take down that village and do like three peaks or something it's gonna be great more mountain mondays they'll be coming back hardcore mountain mondays i think will be a thing i ca i can't i can't um i can't let philza be the only one over here who builds absurdly large things in hardcore i feel like that's part of gonna be part of my namesake and if we die by falling off of a mountain then that's that's an okay way to go with me that's that'll be an acceptable way to go and this one on the inside folks there will be no deep dark there will not be a deep dark inside of this one we're gonna light it up because it's gonna be for a mob farm so we have to make everywhere that's not mob spawning platforms needs it started being really dangerous for me driving around late at night because like my the night vision was really bad so i started using them while driving at night and then after that i was like you know what they wanted or they didn't know what to do with it and we were like well can we'll take it and my mom was like you can't give it to them for free so we had to do yard work for them in order to earn the playstation um so we mowed their yard and like mowed their lawn and like cleaned their yard got rid of all the leaves and everything and trimmed the bushes and everything like that in order to get a playstation one and then we bought diablo one for it and it was so fun we were so bad at it but it was so fun he's my brother is older than me he's about two years older yeah tony hawk could that's like my go-to drink if i'm ever at a bar like a fancy restaurant like if i'm ever at a restaurant i've never been to before my favorite thing to order from the bar or whatever it is it's always i always go with the gin and tonic first just to find like new ones and i love trying like different types of gins and things when you find something like that where you can just like i enjoy that for like the flavor like the flavor of them is really good i give like a very botanical like gin oh so good very very tasty for me but i know a lot of people don't like it like my girlfriend hates it but i'm always like for my um for my birthday over the summer uh my mom got me a bottle of it's called monkey 42 gin and i'd never tried it before and it was delicious it was so good unfortunately finished the whole bottle um over a few weeks but it was so good uh rhubarb gin with ginger ale oh i haven't had a rhubarb gym interesting i love a good gen g t infuse your own raspberry jam oh interesting i have to i know i'm so sorry about that minecart thing i want to find a way to fix it it's either the flashing of the white or it's a flashing of a black monkey40 it's like shovel again but i this is just like a quick tap it's a tippy tap but we need to um move it all the way down here and then just trying to do a pattern where we can fill this entire area with uh water sources and then fill it all with sugar cane and then we need to come back through so the end's going to be about here we'll bring it to this side that'll be fine fill the entire thing with sugarcane and then from there it's going to be fantastic so that's going to fill those and we want to do this we want to do this is that going to fill everything let's let's test this i want to make sure i'm doing this right here let's get all these filled out actually before i do that i'm gonna go get a bunch of slabs so we can fill them in i need to go get some spruce slabs for ourselves how good is thorns thorns is an interesting enchantment i like having thorns sometimes i think playing in hardcore i'm gonna have thorns on everything because basically when you take damage the thing that attacks you took damage also and unless i'm purposely trying to keep something on me uh i want the mob to be dead unless i'm purposely trying to lure something i don't wanna i don't want any chance of it being alive so yeah we're trying to make an auto sugarcane farm we're going to do the whole flying machine setup and everything like that all all the fancies and everything it'll be great [Music] every time i leave the house i hit that dangberry bush and i'm refusing to get rid of it because i'm going to train myself to stop hitting the berry bush yeah we'll do the ender dragon as like a server thing okay so what we're going to do in here is we want to water uh log some slabs so the water doesn't drip downwards reason being for that is um words reason being for that is words you know what i think i did this wrong i think i think i did this wrong i think i'm gonna place the sugar cane on these so far and i'm also going to replay i might use this who knows i might use it because that'll allow for these that'll allow for those and we just gotta waterlog the rest of these um you should use the shulker craft design i don't know what that is i'm i'm my goal of this series is if i can i'm going to use my own brain the redstone i know that's a scary thought for everybody including myself but the only way i'm gonna actually learn how to redstone and be able to do these things myself in the future is if i try and come up with my own design so like i know how to make a flying machine i know how to make one go back and forth because pixlrus kind of taught me a little while ago when we were making the nether fortress farm and so that was sweet um i learned a lot from that and so what i'm combining that with is the way that i already know how to make sure uh sugar cane fields and things that i auto harvest or the pretty ones that we made outside of papyrus um and then i want to use that and then we're gonna use the flying machine design that i learned how to make to reinforce the knowledge of it to then uh come over here and make a new one it'd be great are we bffs now faith are we bffs okay so that's leading everything in here we are missing a few little spots every once in a while like this i could come over here and do like a water with a slab can we do a grass or we do a sugar hang so that'll be something that we can use to do that because the goal is the goal is that we're going to run hopper mine carts underneath this whole thing to collect everything and it should work should should um and hopefully be fine because then we're going to need some along this way here too but for now let's fill in all of the gaps that we can uh and then oh forgot to fill these in because like this is pretty dang full over here okay look at all of this look at the same as crops because they don't need yeah i i understand why though like i i kind of like that it's a different mechanic though like i really like that you don't just grow sugarcane on farmland i think this adds a more fun mechanic to it i think it adds more interesting way of working with it i know it can be a huge pain in the butt sometimes but i enjoy it i think it's worthwhile i think it's just it's minecraft would get very boring very easily if all crops function the exact same way you know so the fact that we have a little bit of variety to it and the way these things work is to me mixing up so hopefully we can get a team that gets nervous in there but it'll be fun if we don't win it's cool i got my oh it's not even invisible it's right there it's oh it's phasing out of existence don't take it away from me but we are i already got my mcc win so you know forever in the books i anna i am a winner of mcc and i'm cool with that so we're good we don't we don't need another win we've already proven proven we have the professional ability to compete at high level minecrafting and win so you know obviously i'm just a professional that's really what i was trying to competitive and like compete in the upper brackets but like i don't care too much about being the number one player if that makes sense like i don't care about my team winning i just want to be in a team that's like competitive so like i'm a when i get into the reason why i do minecraft um one first and foremost is it's very chill for me i have two modes and a lot of my friends can probably back this up as i have two modes i'm either extremely chill and not doing much or i want to win beyond anything else and get way too competitive and it's mcc for me is i'm like trying to keep it at that point of like we're just chilling we're just chilling we're just having a good time hanging out i'm trying to not move into that super competitive zone you know the game rec room i don't why do you need much more sugarcane uh i want to use it for villager trading i don't i got some librarian villagers ready to go here soon i'm working on them so i can get book trades and a really easy way to get emeralds with a bunch of librarians is actually getting um a a bunch of sugarcane because we can turn all this into paper and just use that this is free emeralds it's free real estate uh monkey thanks competitive into are like the like the world warcrafts or like the starcrafts or like those types of games those i like getting really competitive into i don't really want to do that with minecraft per se like i've never had that oh oops uh i've never really had that big urge of being like i need to get like really competitive and inside of the minecraft community so speedrunning to me is just never really stood out as something that i should try and do or look into i don't know maybe someday but right now no plans um then we're gonna go here and there and i'll be able to get all of these more water also i'm gonna try and make sure this area doesn't look just look like a big old box like that's a huge thing i'm worrying about is this area just looking like a disgusting box also over here nope that's wrong uh we need to do that and then we need to do u and you and that would be better okay the hard part about this area is after we get it all filled in it's gonna be very dangerous for creepers because mobs can still spawn in here it's not gonna be fun what are you using for experience we have a zombie mob spawner which i've been using uh we re today we went into the nether a little bit got a bit of nether quartz for ourselves and used that because that's a lot faster than the zombie spawner i have uh i want to hook up a gold farm here soon that will have multi-purpose of the ability to either be a mob spot like a auto mob farm or have the ability to be an experienced farm we'll see how it's gonna work though have some floating lanterns about the flying machine that could look kind of cool with the crystal aspect we're going for we can make some tiny versions of the crystals they could like float around here that'd be kind of fun i don't think we'd be able to light the entire thing but i forgot water i don't think we'd be able to make it perfect but it'd be kind of cool maybe maybe one day official update video for mcc is out yeah scott jumped in here stream okay what is this texture pack it's my own it's my own i made sugar cane look fancies actually somebody made the detection for me but we use it i like it i think i think the sugar cane looks nice when it grows it gets a connected texture so it's not just like these little green things so like when it's at stage two you can see the sugar cane below it and grows all the way up just looks much more like a natural sugar cane it's actually growing look at all that look at all this sugarcane we're doing it everybody in order to fix it we gotta start doing some stuff like this it'll be fine i just i kind of messed up in this upper section in the beginning and messed up the pattern but i've got it down now so we just need to take this line of having a tiny bit of inefficiency here of hello hello and welcome to the official update video for mc championship 11 looking spooky what is known as the end of times yeah it's one of my favorite times of the year spooky season and that means it's time to give mcc one massive spooky overhaul it's time for the halloween special there are a ton of exciting updates to get into let's start i love that little stuff we've given a massive spooky glow up full of intimidating tentacles creepy spiders and cobwebs ghosts gravestones candles sweets purple water soul flame and lots and lots of cute little pumpkins i i don't think the tentacles can actually eat you but i don't know so i wouldn't test it and just like we did in the easter update we're introducing a halloween special hub minigame trick or treating between games everyone will get two minutes to run around the hub and trick or treat as many mcc team members as they can for each member trick or treated contestants will gain a special suite that they will be able to carry into the next decision dome and use during the voting phase these sweets have many special powers so make sure to read them before you use them now of course in the spirit of competition you'll find the leaderboard outside the hall of fame presenting the players who have trick-or-treated the most tracker treated trick-or-treat i don't know anyway the current leader will be named the pumpkin king and they get to run around the hub with a pumpkin crown and flames coming out of their boots take someone over and trick or treat and the pumpkin king will be switched over to you instantly right i think it's probably about time to run through all the cool theming updates occurring across the games so buckle in because it's going to be a bumpy ride starting with the most surprising of all i hope that sounded sarcastic enough but battle box is again getting a new map and this time it's set in a haunted mansion there's quite a bit of other experiences of this one so it should be quite interesting wait ace race has gone through an insanely huge makeover this looks good kobe tentacles have seriously made their way into this map along with things like demons gravestones skeletal jump pads and pumpkin hot air balloons yikes build ma on the other hand has been struggling with the finances again so i i don't know i i think they could have just done more you know i i don't think the staff here must be that passionate these look really cool i love all the customers probably gonna be a big lineup of spooky builds so sky battle's getting in the mid too ah a totally welcoming map for an incredibly friendly game love that survival game's new map is now becoming a dark dark forest which honestly would be such a great opportunity for some proper scary hide-and-seek t-g-t-t-o-s-a-w-a-f is getting a loads of changes look at all these spectacularly frightening maps oh yeah what what the hell is that couldn't get away without touching up holding the whole spooky watch along with orange slime [Music] what could possibly be scarier than orange slime yep uh yeah that's the best we could come up with oh god i hate this one raucous flip is probably getting the most terrifying map i have ever seen i never know where those tentacles are coming from just like can we maybe just stay up in the lobby please oh uh thought it's probably a good time to mention that mcc has now been updated to 1.16.3 so bingo this time round will be never bingo better get all knowledged up with the recent updates for this one it's hard like like trust me okay okay the coolest of them all dodgeball is the witch ball instead of bows and arrows our contestants will be dressing up as wizards and witches casting powerful spells at each other with their green colored now i also overheard a top secret tactic
