I Survived 200 Days in Hardcore Minecraft... Here's What Happened

[Music] this was an adventure that i honestly didn't know if i was ever going to return to a story that i was not sure if the ending would ever actually be written but after some time a lot of you and i mean a lot of you have found my 100 days video and it's time for the next chapter so continuing on in the challenge set forth originally by luke the notable it's time to survive 200 days in hardcore minecraft i'm going to be playing in the same world with the same characters minus a horse that everybody left oh so many kind words for but it's time to load up the world and get started day 101 so it's important to know that after i finished that video i didn't play on this map for about a month and a half so i spent the entire first day reorganizing myself and reorganizing the city in my brain so i could remember where everything is i checked in on a few of my villager buddies popped over to shelby's grave to pay my respects and then started this video just like the last video gathering wood and resources for a project that i wanted to get started on right away day 102 was time to go back to that spawner that i had said i was going to do something with in the original 100 days but then never actually got to it i have many different goals when it comes to what i'd like to accomplish during this 100 days least of which is beating the game and that means going and killing the ended right but to do that i need gear that's going to last me through the next 32 hours worth of gameplay and into what i want so days 102 103 104 all put together we're building a very basic rudimentary mob spawner which would allow me to grind out kills on the zombies in this area to be able to level up xp and refresh my gear once i can get high tier enchantments such as mending day 105 i had pretty much wrapped this up with all of the water columns in place and ice on the floor so zombies would slide their way around one of them you know almost killed me while i was sitting there but looking at this it looks like it's going to work not perfect but it's going to work i wired up the redstone to be able to turn this spawner on and off with differing light levels and then set up a nice little kill area with hoppers to store all of the goodies i know it took over a full hour of real world time but at this point i'm a little rusty in getting back into minecraft so i hope you'll bear with me trust me i do start going a little bit faster very very soon day 106 it was time to refresh all of the agriculture in the village i uprooted and replanted most of the different crops that existed in the four quadrants of the agricultural district i don't know what we're actually going to call it and you know what i've done some religions so why don't i go to hell to finish the day and do some more trading this time some gold with some piglens don't worry i'm actually going to call them by the right name in this video day 107 it was off to the bastion oh man i've learned a lot when it comes to the naming of things in hardcore minecraft i'm still not going to promise anything when it comes to some verbal flubs but i'm gonna do a little bit better i traded gold with these piglens for quite some time while scooping up blackstone for different builds that i wanted to do around the area and in a secondary base here in the nether once i had filled my inventory it was time to move my portal to somewhere which was a little bit more accessible i want to be able to get at these guys from inside my base from there i also did some quick exploring up a little bit higher and peep my way into an entire new dimension well not really but i did make my way onto the roof of the nether using a little bit of rudimentary maths i linked up a new nether portal directly into the one that i just built into my base day 108 you're gonna see why i wanted to be up on the roof of the nether because while i treat my villagers like real people the enemy mobs i'm gonna start farming again i want high tier abilities to be able to collect on resources and experience so a zombie piglet gold farm is going to be something that i'm really going to want in 1.16 to do that i'm collecting magma blocks because they are the only mob that can spawn on magma blocks and it makes for a really efficient farm in doing so i did drop into lava at one point in time and had my first near-death experience of the video gonna have to be a little bit more careful about that but from there i popped down to a level where i would not only be able to get magma blocks but also netherride because i want to be able to upgrade my gear using the tried and true explosive bed method of mining i was able to find a couple pieces of ancient debris but nothing too substantial as things ticked over to day 109 i found yet another piece of inch and debris which was just enough to get me my first upgraded piece of gear but the fire and the damage from all of this i'm gonna have to go with something more efficient if i want to do this at scale after a little bit of strip mining i called it a day and then went back to visit my farmers to re-up on emeralds i cooked up the netherrite scrap as well as some additional food for myself and then did my first netherite ingrid plopped down the smithing table and of course centurion was going to be the first thing to be upgraded to the new material i also started doing a little bit of enchanting because what i have is good but it can be oh so much better day 110 and we're really flying now and it's time for yet another base expansion two more modules heading off the back of the base drilling my hobbit hole even further into the subterranean areas of this mountain i also popped up to the top of the mountain to start on the snowy mountaintop base when the phantoms attacked for the first time in this video and i was reminded what true fear feels like but then again not so much because i've survived my way through i built through the entire night and this is when i remembered what true fear feels like because mobs are nothing but gravity that'll get ya day 111 back in the sunlight and it's time to head back up to the top of the mountain i'm making good on my word that a lot of the builds in the early part of this hundred day video are things that i left off from the first hundred days i want this world to be even oh so much better than it was the first time you downloaded it from there i popped it down to do a little bit of enchanting maintenance i only have two chests for this and i want to make sure that i'm only preserving the high tier books upgrading my gear and prepping magma blocks for an upcoming project day 112 grunts gets his food the guy gets fed every couple days even though i totally doesn't need it i headed out on the water to do yet another ranging out into the wild around my base popping through and feeling ever more confident i returned to the forest village that rejected me back in day 99 grabbed its bell and a few resources from around there and then continued off in the ocean heading straight away from where i went before i finally found my way to a frozen ice spikes biome but without silk touch i'm not gonna be able to get any of these resources just yet unfortunate continuing my way along i found this nice turtle island and torched it up to stay the night fought off just a few mobs and was able to regain my archery skills after some time away from this game i set up the shortest of waypoints and on the morning of day 113 i was back in the boat and going forward further i made my way into a mesa biome which unlocked terra cotta and so many different additional cosmetic elements for my bases i also grabbed cactuses which will allow me to have green dye as well as a natural defense system and found yet another cave spider spawner from yet another abandoned mine shaft but this time on the surface i tortured it up just to be safe but i'm probably not coming back to this one through the night i boated my way away and found an underwater glow which caught my attention it was yet another ruined nether portal and for some reason i felt like this one just needed to be maintained i plopped down some doors to make a breathable bubble and between day 113 and leading into day 114 i started working on a glass and terracotta area underneath the seas i'd originally gone searching for glass back for the main base so i was kind of burning resources here but with another portal i'm gonna actually be able to get back here quicker because another highway is just oh so much more efficient i almost drowned several times throughout this entire process and while i wanted to make a dome around all sides of the nether portal i decided just cutting it off at one wall and making this a little bit easier was gonna make it go quicker after unfilling the remainder of the area and lighting it up with torches i popped my way over let's see where i ended up for once i didn't portal immediately back to my home nether portal instead actually being off somewhere which was kind of exciting i quickly popped back to the overworld to re-up on the terracotta and sand to make additional glass that i had originally ranged out for so that way if i did make my way back to the main base i'd be able to have those resources ready for me but as soon as i started jumping around i found yet another bastion and don't worry i'm wearing gold this time i have learned my lesson but it actually intersected with a nether fortress and this is something that i didn't find in my first hundred days the next hundred were already looking very promising avoiding the hoglands because i know what they're actually called again i sought around the nether fortress picking up some another wart to eventually be able to do potion brewing and then finding my way to a very nicely placed blaze spawner in the middle of a soulsand valley area i wanted a little bit more fire protection before i was actually coming back here to farm for blaze rods so the main idea was just trying to get home i used coordinates and ran around generally before i found this a single torch popped on a wall that i hadn't just put here i popped my way up with blocks and found the original nether highway that i started digging all the way back in my first 100 days so i was back to something that was at least familiar following the torches i found my original base and you know what being home i felt invigorated this was going really well i dropped off all of the resources that i originally collected re-upped on diamond picks and made my first brewing stand so i'd be able to brew fire resist potions i then went and re-upped on the farm and stimulated the local economy so i would have what i need then stimulated all of the cows so i would have more of those ditto with the chickens i repaired my looting pick and made my way through via another highway to reconnect the portal back into my main another set of transportation with a lot less danger this took forever so day one one seven as i was dugging my way through everything i was going to reconnect the nether fortress it was right next to a crimson forest which was another biome that i had seen in quite a few places making me think just how close was this place to where i actually needed to go but now i was ready to be farming blazes what i wasn't ready for was two wither skeletons that pop up on me and absolutely jump me the wither effect can take you to death even if nothing goes wrong and two of them meant i had to carefully time my attacks to avoid them meleeing me to the point where it would kill me i was nervous down to just three hearts time to eat one of those god apples that everybody commented how i was more excited for the redstone than those but they saved my life here remembering to keep my eye out for withers i farmed enough blaze rods to set me up that i won't have to come back here for a while that status effect is no joke and i do not want to end this early in this video in today 118 i was collecting the last few of the blaze rods that i wanted to gather like i said i don't want to return here for quite some time until i'm much more prepared i broke the portal on the lower level so that way i wouldn't have to worry about portals conflicting with each other towered up and then weeping vine downwards so i'd be able to access the another fortress from my portal and be able to maintain travel times inside the nether highway itself this is a long walk back though so into day 119 before i was actually able to make it back to my base i banked most of the materials re-upped on some of my enchantments onto books to try to get the exact ones that i wanted and there it was silk touch but i'm gonna have to get to level 19 to earn that but that is definitely the next enchant on my to-do list but also for potions it's going to be important to have an area where i'm going to be farming at netherwart and since most of the bills that we've been going is for a more aesthetic vibe i thought why not bring hell on earth it's 20 20 after all so i started building an area that was nether themed directly behind the portal that i had built inside of my base this seemed to be a natural place to be able to spawn netherwort and it just kind of really made me happy after going out to see the villages at night i was once again accosted by phantoms and once again reminded don't fire my bow in the village one of the ireland golems got hit in the crossfire and was coming for me after a little while though he did eventually forgive me but yeah i just can't make that mistake friendly fire is no joke called it a night day 120 clearing up the last of the phantoms proved that i learned nothing and i once again bowed them out of the sky thankfully though the iron golem that i had hit forgave me so all is well i started construction on the next major improvement for the village a library for them to all read and learn and get educated and to also give me better enchanting books you know like the ones that i actually want this guy had respiration 3 which is gonna prevent me basically from drowning i'll have to get a few more emeralds and then come back and say hi day 121 i'm continuing on my efforts to get everybody learned thorns three sounds like something that i'm really gonna want eventually but these two when i went to talk them were kind of fused inside of each other they got spliced that was weird i checked in with all my farmers to get xp and emeralds which i then turned into other foods to level them all up to master tear re-upping on all of the farms i'm definitely an agriculture based society right now but all of those emeralds went into my first tier three and it was respiration water is no threat anymore i ended the day with some casual chicken murder and then enchanted my helmet so i could breathe like aquaman day 122 was the first time to harvest my warts and that gets weird as soon as i said it i also then started working on a new redstone project i wanted to automate the melon and pumpkin farms so that they could passively be garnering resources while i'm just walking around the village using observers and pistons i'm able to collect them all to a chest and then just trade with my villager friends as much as i want repeating the same process for the melon side even though this one will take some crafting to get what i want and day 122 was a success day 123 i used those brand new automated farms to start trading these square-shaped melons and pumpkins to all of my brand new friends upgrading to expertise for their farming skills i then grabbed all of my sugar cane and decided it was time to make a similar farm for the sugarcane this one was honestly not the best design in hindsight but it was something that i was gonna have to learn for once again i was attacked by the phantom menace but this time i made sure to not use my bow where anyone would attack me and then run straight to sleep day 124 i was refining my sugar cane farm and after triggering it i realized this thing would be kind of lossy with a lot of sugarcane sitting on the blocks where the reeds originally grow and popping up over the side the time i'm thinking well it i don't need industrial levels of sugarcane it might work so i still set it up anyway here's hoping the thing can really perform for the first time in recording both of these videos i forgot to start recording on day 125 when i popped in for a quick little evening mining wood session at the end of a very long day of work apologies but just know that i basically farmed wood for an entire minecraft day i don't want to be running out of logs for a while day 126 i was back down into the mines while i have a lot of the surface level resources that i need i'm gonna be needing some new heavy metals pretty soon within two blocks i had gotten my first emerald this was a good sign also i have fortune on my pick which means everything i break i'm getting a lot more resources for i grabbed some diamonds about halfway through the mining expedition which was pretty good always check in every direction when you find those and into day 127 i spent the next 40 minutes or so just strip mining my way through a lot of the area underneath the base right around the time when it rolled into 128 i was crafting all of the resources i collected into blocks and i had quite a few ready to go i grabbed everything that required smelting and threw it into my super smelter and then re-upped on pickaxes and then went to collect all of the experience that i had in the smelters that were part of the smelter as well as trading with some of my villager buddies and breeding animals and murdering animals so i had enough experience to grab that efficiency for for my pickaxe and then eventually get silk touch on it as well day 129 it was back through the nether tunnel but i'm not going to the fortress instead i returned to the surface and it was time to range out from this point to see how much further i could go there was still some overland resources that i wanted and i'm gonna have to go searching for them using my new underwater breathing helmet though i was able to dive into a mostly underground instead of underwater sunken ship and grab my first sunken treasure from there a quick pop over to where it was and there was some god tear loot in this box including my first heart of the sea from there i fed turtles some seagrass collected some sea pickles and also collected some turtle eggs day 130 i was back on the ocean finding my first coral biome and my second sunken ship there was a clock in here maybe i'd remember what time it is for once but the treasure map is what i was actually after and after a little bit of digging i was able to find yet another high tier chest these maps are paying off while wandering in the desert i found a new village to be able to potentially trade with and quickly slept in here to take it over to day 131 i stayed loyal to my home village though no trading while i'm out here jumped back in a boat and continued my way through i'm looking for oh wait cool another village this one's kind of nope nope nope have to stay focused have to stay focused popped into an abandoned nether portal but i'm not going through i have to stay focused i'm looking for something specific i jumped underwater and fought the drowned in this set of ruined underwater areas looking for yet another treasure map which led me to the tiniest of sand islands and that creeper got me a head start to yet another chest of god to your loot there stand the boat keeping going need to find a jungle need to get through wow that is a huge abandoned nether portal underwater i'm not gonna try to unsync that one that would be awful day 132 i came across a cool set of just little islands with a lot of flowers and birch trees just spiked out of the ground i just love the way this looks that might be a new base location one day but i continued through the night and through the forest and through the swamp and just walking my way through until eventually i ended up back at my base my journey to find a new resource on the land had failed day 133 it was time to finally put item frames on all of the chests so i remembered where everything is and then i spent the better part of this day just reorganizing the chests to be on both sides and have the resources in a way that really made sense logically and had everything that i needed i just got rid of a lot of the stuff that i didn't need anymore from there i popped it back over to the raid village to see what was going on around the raid village i started doing a little bit of arranging out around here jumping into a boat at one point as well and made my way over to another village but this one was long abandoned cobwebs grown in the walls and a zombie villager locked in one of the houses don't worry i gave him the easy way out from here it was time to find a new horse i had mourned shelby for a while but it was time for somebody new but night was approaching so i called it a night here and returned to the horse selection process on day 135 i found this new guy and he is fast which just makes me feel like i'm zooming around and now with the silk touch pick i'm able to grab some of that ice that we found in the river from here i found yet another village and yet another ice spikes biome maybe somebody was screaming let it go from the mountains but as i ascended them i didn't find anyone i did continue and accidentally fall down a ravine oh no this is already starting badly i started digging my way up with the horse following me the whole way he really wanted to make his way back to the surface and while we didn't make it all the way back home i was able to make my way to the ruined village and called it a night here day 136 i wanted to get this horse home i wanted to see everything was going well and an uneventful ride later i was there i dropped off all of the ice and named a new tag this one fast as heck his name is tesla i plopped down all of the working blocks from the abandoned village that i had grabbed as well as that forest village that i rated that i kind of don't want to talk about and then use the terracotta that i had collected to upgrade the visuals of the new library for libraries though you need books sorry cows day 137 i was reminded to you know tend to the beehives as well as doing my first foray into potion brewing the one stand kind of works for now but the nether wart that i'm having is more than enough for my little potion needs and on day 138 it was time to hop back on tesla and head back out this guy can cover distance insanely fast it's ludicrous mode i tell you and you know just made me feel really happy inside from here i sped past yet another village and thanked them for their donation of the nice terracotta that i'll be using for the library and then rode on top of the tree canopy and then over additional mountains to yet another village to call it a night there now while the village hopping has been fun this one had a creeper on top of a canyon and just seemed to be really poorly placed i did make my way into a set of deserts that was connected by land and grabbed as much glass as i could well soon to be glass and then from here began a tour of several different temples the first one re-upped me on the enchanted golden apple that i had to eat to survive my first foray with weather skeletons and there's a lot of just general good but not great stuff temple number two had a few diamonds in it that always was great from there i ran into desert village number one and it was kind of quiet in here nothing really cool to speak about on day 140 after crashing one of their houses i stayed on tesla ran him into a cactus sorry about that and temple number three had enough tnt which is what i was kind of really going for as well as some general goodness desert village number two which intersected with temple number four had diamonds and emeralds inside which was nice for me and then popping my way around to desert village number three these guys had a cool marketplace design that i might seal i found a buried portal which had yet another golden apple this really is the seed for it if you want to grab that and on the morning of day 141 desert temple number six yielded yet another one from here i did a quick flyby of the canyon village and then over the mountain tops along the river and then back out to the raid village where i hopped over the wall and called it a night there in the real world i popped back the next morning to visit my raid village and drop off a lot of the resources that i couldn't stack and then jumped back on tesla and headed back out like i said mission time i am focused i need something specific i stopped off in one of the forest villages to call it a knife there and then the next morning it was back on a horse who actually has a name to ride my way through the desert i'll tell you where i'm going and ah finally i found a jungle there was also yet another desert temple which had some okay resources gold is nice but this this is what i wanted i have bamboo it is way more than 12 and it is oh so valuable to me i collected all of the jungle wood that i could to make sure i could get some saplings as well as some cocoa beans this is the last of the surface level trees that i really needed and just a few plants that give me both an infinite fuel source for an auto smelter down the road as well as scaffolding which is so great i found another abandoned portal and decided to pop into the chest and then a village right over the hill from it and this little guy watched me steal his bed for night 142. day 143 it was time for the long trek back through the desert through the woods and oh cool a witch's hut i planted all of the bamboo don't worry it might not look like much but it's going to be a lot soon and then popped back over to the raid village to collect all of the high valuable resources that i had stashed there in the middle of my run out with tesla from here i was finally comfortable enough with my resources to start crafting diamond blocks for storage that just feels like a flex and then pops down the jungle trees for a cocoa bean farm in the middle of my base also about this time was when the video started to really blow up and somebody immediately commented that i needed to name my bow nornfang so you're welcome day 144 i'm harvesting bamboo and preparing for scaffolding i'm so excited about this i also started crafting a few resources for my next big thing i'm doing the impossible in minecraft i'm gonna be breaking bedrock i popped back through the nether ceiling and then marking the block in which i had done it it was only one block wide and with a cool little machine and some spamming of my right click button i was able to break through and have an infinite area to build what i wanted scaffolding was the first step this is legitimately terrifying i am so high off the ground right now there is no way i'm surviving this but i started building my zombie piglen farm being this high off the ground means that the rates will be extremely favorable and i'll be able to get a ton of gold and a ton of experience now holding shift on top of a magma block to prevent myself from taking damage feels like a cheat but it isn't but i'll tell you what going down that scaffolding and hearing a gas screech that that made me panic just a moment day 147 i portaled through and had a bit of a panic attack with some zombie piglen in my base but thankfully they're still peaceful you know until i hit one and then they were behind me and then i really panicked i headed outside and let my iron golem buddies take them out it felt like they hadn't had enough of an attack and then forgot about the cooldowns and went back through the portal that was bad i'm gonna be breaking this portal i can't have them inside of my base that's too dangerous time to repair silky though because it had done a lot of work day 148 and we're approaching the midpoint of this video and a big part of it that you're going to see a lot is this zombie piglen farm i use slabs so that mobs can't spawn in the central area but it maintains the safe distance for spawning and then i started building a little bit of a resource collection platform right underneath right around then and after a deep deep breath it was time to put it to a test i fired my bow and waited for everything to swarm in it was going well all of the piglens were held back and weren't able to attack me except the oh god no the babies nope nope nope nope nope just nope i'm staying on the overworld for a few days day 150 and we're at the midpoint while i'm not doing piglet trading trading gold with my cleric is one of the main ways that i'm gaining both emeralds and experience right now and those emeralds are being turned into ender pearls to prepare myself for searching for the stronghold but i don't only want to give my cleric some love i only do this occasionally but leveling up my tool smith will eventually get me diamond gear i crafted the hoppers that i needed to have the automatic collection for my nether fortress and that ghast really freaked me out it was time for some slow fall potions with that on hand i plopped down some honey blocks to make the mobs stick in and set up the hopper so i could collect all the resources that gas blew it out from under me and you know what the potion didn't do anything but featherfall that book that i had gotten right at the beginning i was at half a heart half a heart this video was about one block of height away from being over and this world deleted i walked away from minecraft's irl that day because i was so tense so the next day irl and also in minecraft on day 151 it was time to test my piglen farm again from here i could see a lot of the resources getting automatically collected and i went from level 24 to level 30 in about four minutes worth of swinging my sword which i can make more efficient with the smite sword if i'm careful i also collected a ton of gold once this thing is fully constructed it's going to be amazing using that new experience i was able to get looting 2 to be able to upgrade centurion and immediately apply that so i'd get even more gold and further attacks then it was time to hop on tesla and go on another adventure it was time it was time to find the end portal i threw my first eye of ender which floated through the air pointing me towards the stronghold and my ultimate goal defeating the ender dragon from here it was traveling about two to three hundred blocks and then throwing another eye tesla leading me along mountains and i fully skyrim horst my way up this one and then through fields with zombies attacking in every way at one point though i threw an eye and it flew behind me and looks like i was getting close i hopped the river and headed over into that spruce forest when skeletons started attacking heading off with the skeleton behind me i turned around quickly and drew my bow loose and arrow [Music] and killed tesla with friendly fire day 153 trying to put off the trauma of just killing yet another horse i started digging downward as the eyes were indicating that i was oh so close eventually the rock fell away and looking down there was the stronghold beneath my feet i dropped down to it and unlocked my next advancement i see you it's time for a new adventure i immediately ran around and started torching everything and this was a pretty cool stronghold a large cave system bisected it in two so big areas of it were open and inside was you guessed it yet another abandoned mine shaft but the actual portal room was actually extremely close to the cave system and i was able to break the silverfish spawner and secure the portal room with a little effort from there i wanted to secure an actual base underground so that way i didn't have to worry about channeling all the way through the stronghold and risking death or injury while trying to get in and out of this area i enclosed in the room directly in front of the portal room and then took stock of the eyes i had and those that i needed four to go i towed my way all the way back up to the surface and found myself pretty close to where i was building a nice little semi-strong hold themed area right into it and finding the way through the night of day 154 day 155 i was gathering wood to be able to fully complete my base and build a ladder to make my way all the way up back to the surface and a water pool going down to catch me on my way i figured it was best to keep with the aesthetic of the stronghold for the windows in here so iron bars for the win with a nice lattice of smooth stone for the roof just trying something different on the morning of day 156 i had the hoa of this area telling me that my building was not regulation and they wanted to have a word with me after quickly dispatching them i grabbed all the resources and fought oh too many silverfish making my way through the cave system around this area to grab what i needed crafting up a portal from the obsidian that i had grabbed from underground it was time to head back to base and i ended up at the crimson wood cottage that i had set up by the first bastion remnant that i had encountered however the portal here did not link back to the portal where i was originally which makes me think i was this close to the stronghold almost a full time to inter tesla right next to shelby he was a good horse even though i didn't have him for very long he will be missed day 158 i had tripled my potion brewing effort and then i realized this is not really a good place for them instead what would be cool would be having all of the potion related stuff in a singular area so i expanded my above hell hell just a little bit to accommodate a full set of five brewing stands and all the resources i'd need at the back with this i have a dedicated redstone stand a dedicated glowstone stand and potions to be able to make whatever i want in mass day 159 i started walking along the bedrock roof of the nether dropping down torches every so often and placed down a fortress portal exactly linking up to my fortress base i doubled up on the torches on my way back to make sure nothing would spawn inappropriately and then return to the underground area around my actual base so that i could do another round of strip mining you know how i said time doesn't matter it also doesn't matter when you're underground and day 159 160 and 161 were all spent gathering additional resources i was mainly looking for diamonds which i didn't get the most of but i had enough that i was going to be able to fully repair most of my gear i crafted all the redstone into blocks i definitely have the most of that and using the levels started enchanting some books for combinable enchants for higher tier loot a little bit later on the trees got another round of harvesting outside of my base and i collected all of the tnt if i'm going to be going to endgame i better be looking the part i gathered up all the magma blocks that i could use for the piglen spawner and had a strider come visit me a little bit and found just one piece of nether debris while i was oh wait two pieces of nether debris while i was digging my way through to make a tunnel to fill with tnt one shot of a bow later and i have a brand new excavation method that doesn't set me on fire and uncovers far more ancient debris far more efficiently i continued this primarily using tnt that i had found from the desert temples and found more than enough ancient debris to upgrade almost everything that i currently had on me i popped all of this into the chests in the gold farm and then continued expanding it using the magma blocks that i had just gathered at this point it's at about half capacity with all of the builds but even that is more than enough to get me from no levels to 40 in about 10 minutes worth of farming i am getting stuck on swords though but i could grindstone those down to get even more experience i fully repaired silky so i have both of my pickaxes at max strength and then crafted up more diamond blocks to store them far more efficiently i'm starting to make a little bit of a bang here day 164 it was time to find yet another horse and this process is always kind of heartbreaking this one feels like they're pretty quick so i'm going to be going with them and i headed back over to that ice spikes biome with silky to be able to collect a few of the blocks of ice i ended up fighting drowned underwater and i really forget how much a bow doesn't really help here i actually got a trident from this fight which is extremely rare and then got into a situation where i was pretty sure i was just about to kill my horse again but with enough flashbacks and with enough panic i was able to eventually bow everything down and my horse survived this one feels lucky like the third time's the charm i'm not gonna kill this one he was able to skyrim horses way ups run on the treetops and then run over back towards my base i named the trident after my daughter's current favorite toy story character and put loyalty on it so it would always fly back to me mjolnir style and then i named the horse i don't want to get too attached this time so horse number three i ended the day of 165 starting to expand my village even further and building an underground bunker so that if anything does go wrong i'm going to have a few villagers in an underground area to keep them safe but the houses must continue we're not locking everybody in the morning of day 166 i was expanding and integrating the new houses into the roadway system and then farming for more dark oak i used so much of it in these builds i also sheared all of these sheep to gather up more wool to expand and double up on all of the beds in the area finishing the roofs on the two new houses that i constructed right around the end of the day day 167 replacing the quartz with dark oak around to integrate the build of the library a little bit better into the overall aesthetics of the city and then replacing the quartz underneath the window panes to give it like a little bit of a planter flower box vibe i dark oaked the roof of this giving it a very simple a-frame so that i was able to enclose it all without making it just look extremely pointy and out of place and yet again more dark oak farming day 168 proved one thing no matter what tier of minecraft you're in you will always be digging dirt and breaking trees i quickly popped over from that dropped my resources and then headed back over to the zombie piglet farm to get myself back up to 30 levels around day 169 because time is meaningless in the void i was able to get hit to the point where i ran out of food but thankfully the babies can't get me anymore i grindstoned down all of the enchanted swords to farm yet more experience and then traded with my villager buddies all of the rotten flesh to get yet more emeralds from here it's time to start on something new i need yet another automated form if i'm going to be getting to max tear on my villagers day 170 was yet another underground redstone project and this one is all about reeds that original reed farm the sugarcane farm that i built kinda bad and i wanted to make a new one and this one is not going to lose anything but the phantoms came out and i was heading to sleep day 171 i was reminded that i am not good at redstone even though you know i kind of try i'm not very good but i'm able to set up a simple item elevator to store all the results of this farm in this chest from here it was all observers to power all of the pistons and then from there we have it so that when one piece of sugarcane grows to its tier 3 all of them will be harvested which is kind of nice day 172 i had to set up a secondary collection system for these so that way any of the sugar cane that dropped on the grass on which all of them were growing it would all get automatically collected setting that up i have no shame here it took into day 173 where i had to set up an item elevator that was just a little bit taller than i originally expected so making sure that this thing wasn't lossless meant that i had to re-inject all of the sugarcane into a dropper that would drop it into the water stream for the original collection system which took me into day 174 and by now i was starting to go a little bit stir crazy but i'm pretty sure the entire system was done and ready to go and looking at the thing in all honesty as long as this runs that i can get the paper that i need i'm gonna be happy with that from here i went to trade with a few of my librarians to make sure that they would be leveled up to the point where they wanted the resources that i was going to be creating for them and went to upgrade both silky and looter to be netherright picks and with that i pet grunts and called day 174 and that day's recording session an end day 175 25 days to go and it was time to start preparing for endgame i started combining all of my enchant books and brewing up the final potions apologies on the recording being a little wonky in this clip it does get fixed by the next one i headed over to the nether and as soon as i was through the portal the piglens started attacking me which caused me a lot of panic but you know i i made them pay for it and i went upstairs and murdered all of their friends going from level 5 to level 32 in under a few minutes is pretty empowering from there i then immediately spent all of those levels on additional books and started combining them to upgrade my feather falling to level three just to be that much more safe and then went out to grab just a few more bookcases to make sure that my librarians were leveling up this one blast protection 4 not bad but the farmers are what really makes my economy tick so they got a little bit of love and some emeralds in their pockets day 176 i'm still trading gold for emeralds right now and eating cookies in the middle of the city those two seem to not like my dietary habits i popped off at the super smelter to pick up a few snacks and then jumped back on horse number three to go out and ranging around really i just wanted to go for a ride i knew that most of the area around my base was pretty secure but i wanted to do another check and see if there's anything that i missed in reality i think i had a podcast on at this point and i just missed going for a drive in the real world so i figured a minecraft drive was the next best option day 177 is back to the underwater portal to complete my ranging around i'm still looking for a pillager tower because having some of the gear from a raid would make the ender dragon fight a lot easier but instead i found yet another ruined nether portal and popping through this made a easier access portal on the other half of the nether fortress this one combined with the bastion remnant in a different angle and i was able to unlock a chest that had some crying obsidian in it and i finally got the warpix advancement as well and did a little bit of trading with my new piggy friends around day 178 because time is meaningless in the hellscape that is the nether i searched my way around to find my way back to that portal or to my nether highway portal so i'd be able to get where i needed to go i explored the entire nether fortress and secured it down and then eventually found my way back to the blaze spawner from here it was a pretty straightforward route and i knew where i needed to visit i popped off on a few gasps climbed up the vine and traveled my way over the nether fortress where after escaping the portal found out that it did ticked over to day 179 the end was approaching i reorganized my storage and then quickly went over to google in another tab cheeky look at my desktop while you're at it and realize that since i had a village at my base now i would no longer get those pillager patrols which are searching around which is how i got my first few instances of bad omen and my first banner so i headed over to the stronghold base to just gather some original resources and fight off a few mobs every day in minecraft there's a chance for that to spawn so i'm gonna hang out here for a couple days i died and then made dead a few sheep to make a pink bed for day 179 to be over day 180 and we're in the end game now i torched around this area so that i wouldn't be spawned on immediately outside of my door and then started collecting some dirt and terraforming over a few of the more dangerous spots in this general area i had some dale kingsmill on in the background while i was watching that she's awesome you should go check out her channel and really that's all i did for this day it was just a chill kind of secure the base area day 181 that continued harvesting more dirt and filling in more holes and pools around my base i built a scaffolding area up to make a little tower to get a general better idea on this area and see if there's anything interesting and i saw some horses so the next day when i was out and about i went and tamed yet another horse this one is gonna live over here by the stronghold i don't have a name for this one yet though and i did almost kill it on some berry bushes so something tells me i might not want to waste the name tag but after galloping around the base for a while i secured a pen for my new strong horse and then headed underground to fight off a few more mobs and search the area i found an efficiency 4 book which is extremely powerful while fighting mobs in the library and then grabbed all the bookcases for something that i want to do if i survive popping off diamond ore with silk touch just feels oh so rewarding so i started working on stack of that and then popped it into the secure stronghold area to mine all of that with fortune from there i know how much this makes you all nervous so i did it again day 183 i headed back over to the main base to upgrade centurion with fire aspect 2 popped all of the resources into the super smelter siphoned all of the experience out of that area bred my animals bred the other animals and then got to the point where i could add feather falling four onto my boots i want to be gravity proof for this end battle from there i crafted the final four under eyes i needed and then went back over to the raid base to sleep there day 184 i stored off my ender dragon fighting kit and then just did a little bit of exploring in the caves if i could get a pillager raid first i'm gonna do that if not i'm going for the ender dragon pretty soon i made my way down into a ravine which is probably not smart due to creepers and then just realizing fighting the three of these now compared to three creepers that attacked me very early on in this let's play oh so different as is tradition i found my way into yet another abandoned mine shaft and yet another cave spider spawner and as recording the voice over for this i'm just getting so excited for the caves and cliffs update because that means there's going to be a lot more variety underground another golden apple in the chest though so at least i'm consistent there day 185 i was pretty sure i was not getting a pillager raid no instead it was time to harvest all the resources with the fortune pick and digging down to the surface felt great i made an anvil so i could do a few little bits of repairing and combining over here at the forward base reinstated my kit stored off everything that i would need for the battle headed underground and you know what it was time the final boss of minecraft was about to fall i spawned on an isolated island from the main area of the end which made me extremely nervous luckily i had more than enough blocks to bridge my way over once i got up it was time to bow attack the end crystals each of which exploding with a single arrow hit i down my first feather falling potion on top of the feather falling on my boots because there was no way gravity was going to kill me and the battle really got into full gear with the protective crystals destroyed the ender dragon was finally vulnerable and around the turnover to day 186 she made her first pass at the ground hovering over the portal was able to attack at her underside on the second pass she skyrocketed me upwards but i was able to just softly land on top of one of the obsidian towers boeing as i descended my way back to the end stone on the next trip down she was far under half health and with a couple quick swings and getting heated back up into the sky once again i was just oh so thankful i had prepared ahead from here was to the point where the ai was starting to get confused and more arrows slung in as i kept swiping for each attack each one getting me closer to my ultimate victory i aimed my bow precisely but they bounced off as she stood there taunting me a couple sword swings and as she floated around i loosed one final arrow the explosion started and she vaporized in a cloud of light i had done it i had beaten the game of hardcore minecraft and you would think that that is where this story ends but there is so much more undiscovered and so much left to be written on day 187 i returned to the end reinforcing the bridge with light so i could easily secure it and then built my way up to this new end nexus on the edge throwing a pearl through it i was teleported to the far lands on a corner of a block this is twice where teleportation has nearly killed me holding shift as hard as i could i made my way across and grabbed some chorus fruit and started laying torches and using every block i had in my inventory even having to mine out blocks to head to that city you see in the distance around the morning of day 188 i made my way into this new city and faced a new enemy clad in a square protective armor these shulkers would levitate me into the sky but unfortunately for them that's exactly what i wanted the chests near the top of this held some decent resources and i was reminded that ender chests are a thing i had kind of completely forgotten that ender chests were a thing but thankfully i was able to grab this one and take it with me using the shells of the shulkers i had just battled though i crafted my very first shulker box these are a portable chest where if you break it everything stays inside and this is what i'm really looking for well one of two things i'm really looking for in this city i fought off all of the shulkers grabbing everything as i could towering my way over to the floating pirate ship and fighting just a few more heading over to a chest with some amazing loot in it and there it is my ultimate goal an elytra i also headed to the bow of the ship to grab the ender dragon head popped on my new wings and marveled at the fact that my cape colorizes them that is such a great addition and i love it but the morning of day 189 it was finally time i was going to take flight it was not the best first flight instead of risking further injury to myself i ran along all of the one wide bridges that i created for myself pearled back through and returned back through the end portal to my home dimension i plopped down the ender chest here and i'm gonna put another one over at my base and then started filling the choker boxes with all of the treasures that i had collected tomorrow i'll run that home day 190. 10 days left for this chapter of my story and we're about to do something that no one else has done in their 200 days run i jumped off of this for a proper first flight where i didn't immediately crash into a wall from there i ran all the way back over to my main base popped down another interdimensional atm and started taking all of the resources from my shulker boxes and sorting them into the chests i leveled up an unbreaking book to upgrade my elytra and put the loyalty book from the stronghold onto forkie so that it would always stay with me i then ground off some of the lower level enchantments i wasn't going to use to make more blank books and to recoup some of the experience so i could do some higher tier enchanting day 191 after crafting some firework rockets it was time to see what these wings could really do jumping off a mountain is one thing but accelerating yourself through the air with a simple right click is something else i turned around and overlooked at my village and just had to take in the sights it was really something to behold i got extremely excited by this but the work is never done i grabbed some additional flint so that i could create additional arrows because we have some work to do everybody popped back over to my anvil to re-up nordfang to full health and then headed out to the nether it's time to go ghast hunting while i was doing that just flying around the nether no longer felt like a dangerous place and i came to the spot where near the end of my last hundred days i assumed that there was a fortress on the other side of this lava river now i could prove it and yeah there it was the lava falling just reinforced that this wasn't the one i had been to before and immediately upon hitting i killed my first wither skeleton then got my first wither skull and then shortly after that my second but i'm not here for them i'm here for the ghasts and their tears because i have a very special ending for this video planned i also made my way into a warped forest biome which checked off the final biome of my list i'd fully explored the nether oh and i got my third wither skull don't worry nothing bad can come from that right despite all of my godly powers however i almost killed myself in lava right here yeah i gotta remember this is still hardcore i am still potentially at risk and since i had most of what i wanted just flying through and kind of just skilling on everything right now just really makes me feel great the wither skeletons didn't scare me nearly as much as they did around 70 days ago and the gas i tried to stunt on this one but eventually just go with the bow from here flying back across the river and back to my home base i had some crafting to do to get everything ready day 192 i started by finding one of my iron golems inside of my sugarcane farm i'm not exactly what you're sure to do with them but they can chill there for now and i started smelting up some glass to be able to create my target these end crystals they're extremely dangerous here in the overworld but in the end they have a special purpose i emptied out my melon and pumpkin farms and traded those with villagers to up myself on emeralds and then just kept trading with my librarians hoping one of them would learn the magic of mending or infinity that continued into the next morning when i also started trading the gold with my priest again just to get more emeralds in fact i just traded all day i i leveled up almost every villager in my entire village day 193 was all about them not about me on day 194 i flew my way back over to the stronghold base there's no more walking i'm traveling in style jumped on strong horse and did another ranging out around this area i found quite a few new horses and an awesome cliff that i could potentially build into for a second hobbit hole but after making sure that they had been well exercised it was time to return to the end because so many people have killed the ender dragon in a 100 days or even a 200 days video how many people have done it twice once the dragon had respawned i once again started shooting the crystals to remove her ability to heal and then this time remember to bottle up some of that dragon's breath so i could use it for brewing this time when she passed by i didn't get launched instead i just really got damaged down to just a few hard i have gapples at the ready if i start taking a lot of damage but even that that takes a few moments being able to fly up here though to take out that last crystal that just feels so cool with the crystals eliminated it was back to the process of come back down to the middle and get stabbed a lot in the stomach which she did repeatedly on one of the cycles though she threw me up into the sky and my wings just didn't activate thankfully i was able to land on top of one of the pedestals to avoid a gravity-induced death the battle raged on for quite some time but in the end i was victorious once again from here i had yet another end nexus to go through and this time i was going in style it was about now that i noticed it had ticked over to day 195 and while i was initially walking and very quickly caught sight of an entity fireworks meant that i no longer had to bridge across in a one wide gap i could soar i fought off all of these shulkers to extend and increase the number of shulker boxes that i could support and grabbed a lot of high tier loot from very high up in these entities lots of diamonds and enchanted gear i combined these two and then ran out of arrows so i had to resolve to my loyalty trident to take out a lot of the shulkers from there i saw another city just over the horizon and this one had a ship where the first one did not i fought my way through a lot of the shulkers in this area and collected all of their shells as well but the big wins from the second one was yet another brewing stand another set of god tier loot and a second elytra and dragon head however i was out of rockets and on 196 i had to resort to the old-fashioned way of being able to catch some flight with an elytra i pillared up as high as i could and then gently glided across to the island that i eventually wanted to target towards i had to do that a couple times to make my way back towards the nexus to make my way back to the central island and thankfully one pearl later and i was safely home i ended the evening by breaking all of the lecterns inside of the library because i had done a little bit of research mending could be a level one enchant which means i just kind of really needed to re-educate a few of my authors several times over i repeated this process for quite a while until i got one of the enchants that i was very excited about this guy knew infinity no more worrying about arrows for me i quickly traded with him to make sure that everything was locked in and then repeated the process training a new librarian over and over again but i got a little late in the night so i decided to call it with my new buddy the morning of day 197 i just locked us both in a room and kept building that until we eventually got to the point where there it was the final enchant that i needed i realized that i don't name all of my villagers despite having them all be in this town and i wanted to be able to quickly identify these two amongst the crowd of other librarians so mr infinity your name's iggy now and then i traded with mr infinity to lock in his trades as well and manny was named on day 198 i was looking over everything and realized i needed to expand my hobbit hole had served me well but i wanted to do something grand for a final build and with only 40 minutes to do it in i was really against the clock i knocked out this first area and stared upwards to build a second layer to my hobbit hole before i broke ground and accidentally flooded my base fixing that all up and doubling back i was able to make my way towards creating a secondary terrace as the sun ticked over to day 199 i went back over to the front of the mountain and dug my way across to find out i started a little low from what i was originally hoping for but then from that tunnel dug through and was able to overlook my entire village from my new second floor i quickly mined out everything here to make a rudimentary room that i could turn into a hobbit hole potentially in a 300 days video if you all enjoyed this enough and then gathered wood on the final day of my playthrough the amazing symmetry of minecraft this is something that you will always and forever need i went and collected a third type of tree because i'm fancy like that and combined all of them into resources as the sun began to set building my stairs through and continuing the floor pattern building up the same modular construction so that i could maintain continuity of my entire base and as the sun rose on day 200 i did all that i could i was gonna call it at midday but i wanted to make sure i finished this area stripped the logs filled in the gaps and prepared this for you all to play on i finished up the floor in my outer terrace stood and looked over the valley that i had created jumped over to the sugar cane farm for just a little bit of paper so i can do this that drop made everyone nervous at the end of the last video and this time i wasn't just dropping i was flying through the mountains and soaring over a world that i had now survived 200 days in in a single life i looked out over the valley marveled at everything i had created popped my way into the base and called it a day [Music] and that my friends is my second chapter in my hardcore minecraft adventure if you've enjoyed this video
