is memorial day and we want to acknowledge the fact that we are celebrating memorial day in honor of our military service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice so let's keep that in mind tomorrow i know that we're off work the office is going to be closed tomorrow but we just want to keep that in mind in the midst of celebrating and spending time with family because i know it's been a long time for some of us for uh being with our families yeah and a long time for some good barbecue too that's what i am waiting for what what's your favorite barbecue tone i think uh some rib tips oh that sounds good are you getting on the grill song um i'm still learning okay okay but we're still working on it okay what else is going on we've got 12 hour prayer coming up on june the 11th this is really excited for the teams to have that experience but just once again this is a reminder that because tomorrow is memorial day and it is a national holiday our corporate office will be closed and they will reopen on tuesday june i hear some people in the crowd that are some employees of the church that are celebrating so you all enjoy that day off okay yes and also we want to remind you that we had an amazing time this past thursday giving away 1 000 boxes of food if you're in the building can you just clap it up for that we gave away so many boxes of food to those that are in need to those that just were driving by hey i took a box home it was amazing it was milk hot dogs it was all kind of stuff in that box it was amazing we're going to be showing a video of that after our nlc inside commercial in just a few minutes but we just want to shout out our outreach team for doing such an amazing job week by week with all of the things we're doing into the community awesome and we're just blessed to be a blessing right that's what you all are point pouring into is to be for us to be a blessing so we are getting ready to start service so we want you all to uh sit back that's why i'm still in the land of the living come on [Applause] come on we're about to move and i need you to open you lost some things during the pandemic but you're sitting in the land of the living i need you to open your mouth and speak that thing all of my needs are about to be met my questions are about to be answered my mystery is about to be solved yeah my questions are about to be answered and my mystery is about to be soft [Applause] come on we're gonna move you can be seated foreign [Music] come on the enemy has some traps but you escape them and you've made it to the whale that never run dry come on open your mouth and say all my knees are about to be met all my questions are about to be answered and some mysteries are about to be solved we honor the lord today and we're grateful um the earth is opening some of y'all got restraints on every you release everybody but the house of god i need you to be okay we gonna be all right come on everybody say we're gonna be all right amen if you pray right um we're gonna do some invest some inspections on our new building coming up in the next two weeks and if everything goes as expected we will have occupancy of our new facility which means that more than likely not more than likely in june we will be having services at our new building can y'all release the praise that he finished what he started he finished what he started [Music] hallelujah and i don't know about you but i've learned some things in this season i've learned some things i'm who i was before the pandemic is not who i am after how many all know that you have evolved during this season and one of the things that we felt led to teach on this month was where am i and if anything you need to be alert and aware of your own present um location you can't rely on people to tell you where you are it is important that you know where you are not just physically where am i spiritually because i don't want to go through all it is and miss the mark in this we talk from the parable of the soul we told you that a parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning we taught you that christ taught a total of 36 parables um theologians say that he literally taught between a third and a fifth grade level because he wanted to make sure that everybody got it can i please beg every teacher preacher apostle prophet break this thing down that the simple person can understand what you are saying do not impress yourself and cause me to lose my soul come on here in the parable of the soul we taught you this month that he said that the soul went out the soul was good the seed was good but the dirt was different and everyone under the sound of my voice you need i don't care how dressed up you are you came from dirt it's a dirty situation up in here we taught you that watch me the first one that he the seed fell on the path thus those that can sit under the word but you never get it there's some people that can sit in the house of god and they're the pathway people they'll never get it they'll never be convicted they'll always do whatever they want to do they'll never change let them stay in the path you just stay out the path then there are those that fall among the rocky that's those that look deep from the waist up they sound good they look good but they have no route and i don't know about you but i don't want to look like i got it together but then beneath the surface i'm all jacked up i don't want to be a fake i don't want to be a phony i want to be real is there anybody that just want to be real i don't want to come out acting like my marriage is good but it's on i don't want to act like i have money when i'm really broke and you call that walking by faith stop then it's those that fell among the thorns two things choke it the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth two things can choke the word up out of you the worries of this life i need everyone under the sound of my voice and i need you to say if you believe that god is able to do anything by faith i need you to say i have no worries come on here come on i need you to say that again i have no worries i'm not worried about my children i'm not worried about my marriage i'm not worried about my job i'm not even worried about how my rent gonna be paid because i've never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed beg for bread all my needs are gonna be met even my job situation come on here your business is gonna be well taken care of open your mouth and let the devil in hell know i'm not losing another night's sleep i'm not gonna grow another gray hair worrying about something that i can't change i need you to open your mouth and speak this thing because when you speak it it's going to become your reality open your mouth again and say i have no worries and there's a seekfulness of wealth and if you're not careful you'll chase money more than you chase god and as much money as you've had you have nothing to show for it so you have to make sure that money doesn't become your everything you just can't move because they offered you money you just can't up and do what you want to do because you when you do that you take on the spirit of the harlot all they do is take money to make you change come on let's go and then he said those that fill up on good soil please pay attention good soil means this listen to this that everybody's not gonna produce the same thing but we gonna produce something so i'm going to produce 30 so i'm going to produce 60 so i'm going to produce 100 fold watch me and you can't wait on somebody to tell you if you're producing a knife you have to be able to look at your life and say listen i might not be a hundred and i ain't at zero either i might not even be 60 i might be 10 but if i don't know nothing else i know i am not who i used to be is there anybody that can see progress in your life come on i don't care if it's just one inch of progress at least you're not in the same spot that you used to be in so now let's talk about seasons let's talk seasons i don't want to miss my season i don't want to be walking around with summer clothes on in the winter and i want to be walking around pushing me in the wintertime with some shorts on and some flip-flops i want to make sure that i am in my season and i'm not going to let nobody stop me look at me from enjoying my season you better hear what i'm trying to say to you i went through too much hell to get to this season and there's some people that wish they could be alive i'm i made it through a pandemic are you kidding me oh i'm going to give god glory i might not have everything i want but if i can't do nothing else i can thank god that i have made it to a safe space i need you to open your mouth say it's my season come on say that again it's my season and i'ma enjoy every minute of it don't rush my season either come on here let's talk come on please hear me today please tell me today you have to know where you are and what season you're in and he cleans the assets the bible says something amazing look at the screen you can see it there is a time for everything not just a time and a season if it's a season it's not just a day it's some months it might be some years oh my god in the book of judges he said and he gave them a season of peace which means that they had no battles can you imagine waking up and having nothing to fight against a season of silence well you ain't got to hear nobody talk crazy a season of silence where the enemy not even talking to your spirit no more come on anybody ready for a season of silence but there's a time for everything and a season and a season for every activity under the heavens what season are you in right now and what are you doing in this season you've got to hear me seasons must come to bring shifts question what are you doing in this season stop are you enjoying it are you in it or are you too busy focusing on your past season i need i'm gonna make y'all talk today why are you making us talk so much because god has heard your complaints for a year in your house that i got to get your positive words to outrun your negative words and if one statement can flip your whole life i need you to open your mouth and say it's my season and it's about to be productive so let's go to another parable in matthew 13 starting at 24 and jesus told them another parable the kingdom the kingdom of heaven is like a man a man who sold who sowed in his season good seed in his field but while everyone was sleeping and everyone was sleeping they're always gonna be an enemy that's gonna try to do something in your season his enemy came and sold weeds among the wheat and went away the owner the owners servants the servants came to him and said sir didn't you so good seed in your field if you notice this is the first question and if you pay attention he never answers him please attention some things you have to know that you don't have time to answer i thought she was a prayer warrior i thought she was a worshiper i thought you were healed i thought she was at peace i'm not gonna even entertain you or give you any of my energy or my conversation because i know who i am and i know what i have coming come on let's talk for a minute second question where then did these weeds come from we're gonna deal with that i can't stand people they're so busy monitoring your field that they're not paying attention to their own feel let's talk he was very smart i know what i saw and whatever you looking at i didn't sow that an enemy did this i know what i sowed and so whatever you're looking at if you're looking at the bad that don't belong to me and there's some things that the enemy's trying to present to you i need you to return to cinda come on here depression don't belong to me sadness tried to get me but it don't belong to me come on anybody know who you are and know what you've been releasing and know what you're supposed to i need you to open your mouth again and say this is my season the servant next time third question do you want us to go and pull them up very sharp answer no for those of y'all that have problems saying no you're gonna mess up your season no has to be a part of your vocabulary you must say no in order to you must say no in order to secure your future come on let's just practice can i borrow some money because you know they're not going to pay you back can i live with you oh you said that real loud can i drive your car i'm gonna give you another chance cause you know they don't have enough to carry your present how can they handle your future will you marry me some of y'all like i'm not saying though i'ma help them become who they're supposed to become i'ma move on and he answered because while you're pulling up the weeds you may uproot the wheat with them let both grow together until the harvest at that time i will tell the harvesters you stay in your place and i will tell the harvesters first collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned then gather the wheat and bring them into the barn where basically i can get what i planted three questions i want to ask you a few questions here who are you who are you question what have you released what have you sowed what has come out of your mouth what have you sowed in the spirit realm what have you sowed in the natural realm what have you sowed in your flesh question what are you expecting because if you sold something you should be in the seat of expectation and what are you doing while you wait because you can't just sit and wait you must be busy because if you're not busy there's some weeds that would do their best to stop you so every night and then you just have to shift a little bit change your positions so that the weed can't tie you down ready now let's identify seasons and i need everybody to be on ants are you in the sowing season sowing season what does that mean what does that mean in jesus name a parable kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in other words here's someone who's walking around and he's literally releasing he's releasing seeds and he's sowing good seed on good soil he's not wasting his seed on path people rocky people foreign people but he sowing seeds in what he know can produce i don't have time even now that i come back to church to sit in the path section to sit in the rocky section or sit among the thorns i need to be around people that have really to release some seeds of praise because when we think of the goodness of jesus and all he's done for us i need you to make sure you in the good section up in here you ain't got to beg nobody online don't play with me zoom don't play with me i need some of y'all that know that you've been releasing prayer you've been releasing worship in your house when you didn't have any praise team you were still giving god glory you were doing your best to hold on and you've been sowing seeds telling yourself it ain't gonna be like this always my best days are ahead of me what the devil meant for evil god don't get the glory out of it i need those of you right now come on here i need you to sow some seeds right there go go show us see the praise [Music] so just start sewing just stop sewing come on here i sow season prayer i prayed for myself i prayed for other people i spoke life i began to believe that god was gonna do something come on i'm sold i gave my ties i gave my offering come on come on here [Music] come on i'm sewing i helped somebody i was a blessing of somebody that needed a blessing i paid somebody bill i encourage somebody [Music] [Music] while you're sewing while you're sewing the bible says an enemy came pay attention an enemy came a good sword doesn't have time to just be sitting up looking for the enemy i'm too focused working on my field so i can get what i have i know the enemy gonna try it watch me but i was he give a seed to the soul while i'm sowing the thief cometh the thief cometh the thief cometh the thief coming to do it to steal to kill and to destroy so the thief want to come and open up another bag of seeds but these seeds don't produce what i release these seeds are really out to destroy what i release please pay attention the bible said while everyone was sleeping what did he do he sold his seeds and then he left stop i need you to stay focused on your sowing don't worry about the enemy let the devil be the devil you just monitor your seas and keep expecting something great to come out of your situation come on i don't have time to hear any negativity i'm too busy monitoring my seas and i sit in the seat of expectation i believe that eyes have not seen and he is have not heard what god has in store for me and i live in a life that i have to keep showing because once i reap he gonna prune it and make it better and make sure that i keep releasing watch me keep releasing keep releasing keep releasing keep releasing keep releasing keep releasing keep releasing don't worry about the enemy just keep i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season lift your hands and sow some worship lift your hands is so some prayer lift your hands and open your mouth and release some positive words can you release some positive words can something positive come out of your mouth go go go go go go i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my i'm praying now but i'ma get it later i'm in my sewing season i'm giving now believing that he gonna give me increase later i'm in my sewing season can i get somebody to sow prayer can you do me a favor just look at your neighbor say i'm about to pray for you right now and i need you to intercede for them just for like 10 seconds right there i need you to sow i need you to sow come on we thinking about no devil we ain't looking at my enemy we in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season but the thief coming forget the thief ah forget the thief i'm paying attention to the seeds that i am sowing forget who don't like me i am too busy focusing on what i am sowing forget negativity i am too busy i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season and when you are sower you look for every every opportunity to release when you are a sower you look for every opportunity to release if you give me a praise break i'ma take full advantage of it if you call a prayer meeting i'm gonna take full advantage of it if i see that you need to break through it i answer and i got it to give it to you i'm in my sewing season i need those of you that know that god put a seed in your hand and gave you the ability to release it i need you give me 10 seconds of worship right there i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in my sewing season i'm in you can't pay me for what i do i'm in my sewing season ready let's shift let's shift less shift let's shift oh i see increase i see increase i see what you sold five years ago just starting to come forward i see i could look at you now and tell what you prayed for five years ago i i i'm in my growing season i'm in my growing season i'm in my growing season i'm in my growing season ah you can't tell me i haven't grown because i used to be under the dirt but now i've broke through some things that i never thought that i would be able to break through is there anybody you are not the same individual that you used to be something happened screen everybody say that loud monitor your growth what you doing i'm taking care of me it's called self-care i'm minding my own business what you doing taking some quiet time not answering my phone right now come over here what you're doing praying seeking the lord while he may be found what you doing doing the work that he i'm growing i'm hanging around people that's sharpening me and not being around nobody negative i'm making sure i'm doing everything that i got to do to grow i'm evolving i'm evolving and don't remind me of how i used to be i knew who i used to be i need you to see who i am right i want you to get this revelation please hear this ready everybody say i'm in my growing season now i'm gonna show you how i know you've grown look at me i'm gonna tell you how do you know you've grown how do you know that you have grown you got to get this revelation you ready the bible says something carefully it says the owner's servants the servants came to him and said sir didn't you sow good seed in your field where then did the weeds come from look at me how do you know you've grown people that have not grown only focus on the weeds it's some wheat down in here but you're not looking for the wheat you only looking for the weeds you looking for the negative when you have grown you learn how to minimize the negative and how to magnify i i need you to hear me i need you so i have been very open very honest and very transparent that this pandemic was beginning to mess me up i found myself not evolving not growing not embracing what god was doing so i went and got in counseling so i'll go to my my last session my therapist i was complaining about something he said john stop stop stop he says i need you i want i want to give you a challenge i want to give you a grateful challenge because if you're not careful you will focus on who left rather than who's still with you i'm in my growing season so i went and got the help i needed to do what i need to do to get well you should have just prayed that was part of my growth but talking to somebody was part of my come over here let's go so he said to me he said he says watch this he said i want to give you a challenge he says every day i want you to get up and i want you to name three things that you are grateful for and you can't repeat the next day because i have to teach you that more good is going on then you're bad now that's some growth and some of y'all you got to be careful because you came from a family and it's in your bloodline to find fault and complain you it is in your bloodline to be negative but oh you better you told me you got a blood transfusion you told me that you got washed by the blood of jesus this i recall to my mind therefore have i hope i'm gonna give you an opportunity right here to do your grateful challenge on the count of three i need you to list one thing that you're grateful for one two three on the count of three i'm gonna give you an opportunity to repeat another thing that you're grateful for one two three i'm gonna give you another opportunity i'm gonna give you a count of three i'm gonna give you another two to mention something that you're grateful for forget the weeds forget who don't like you forget who not in your corner forget who been dogging you out forget who's not with you forget about who quit you forget these trifling people that have never gonna change i need you to focus on how good god's been to you on the count of three i need you to release another thing that you're grateful one two three go let me stretch you a little bit cause i'm blessed i look in the building and i look on the zoom and i look online god's been too good to he's done so much for me i can't even tell at all those of you that know another thing that god's done for you can i give you an opportunity to be grateful one two three go i just want to thank god for my health and my strength i want to thank god that i'm in my right mind i want to thank god that i got the activities of my limbs i want to thank god that i didn't lose it in the midst of a pandemic i want to thank god that i'm not on any kind of mental medication i want to thank god that i didn't go deep into depression i want to thank god that when i did go down he snatched my behind back up i want to thank god that the devil desired to shift me as weed but god did not let the devil have his way is there anybody in the building that is grateful oh it don't sound like it in the building i thought your praise would be bigger than what i see [Music] let me feel y'all in the industry around those of you that are grateful let your praise reflect your growth let your praise reflect your gratitude let your praise reflect the fact that you know that god's been good to i'm good i've grown i am not the same and i am comfortable you too busy looking at the weeds but i'm looking at the wheat because i can see what you can't see because the weeds are blocking your view so for someone for someone you shifted from your sowing to your growing to your growing to your growing it take a lot to get on your nerve now it take a lot to make you mad certain things your spouse used to do you be all hot about now you look at your life you'll get it later i wish i could get somebody married to say i've evolved i've evolved i don't even let church people get on my nerve number i ain't got time to be sitting over stupid stuff what are we talking about we talk about nothing can everybody say i've grown i've grown let's shift i'm in my sorting season am i sorting my sorting is is the painful part my sorting because to be honest with you i like some of the weed people hear what i said i didn't say i like weed pay attention something i thought i was smoking no i didn't say i like weeds i like some of the weed people you want to have real conversation because sometimes some of the weed people are more honest than the wheat because the wheat people we don't realize had it not been for god we would be just like and so what the the sorting part is and i'll never forget this please listen to this i was at a certain season in my life and the lord said this is where i'm taking you this is where you're going he said i need you to check your surroundings because either some people that are around you they have to change or they cannot go with you here i go but i love them he said then give them the opportunity to change show them growth expose them to better but it's on them you have to hear me and this is the painful part because he has something great for you and he says in the swimming part he says he says let both grow together that both go together religious church people this is when you get on my nerve because you see people come in here that look like weed they even smell like it and you got your nose up judging them you judging how they look how they sound what they smell like he said leave them alone leave them right where they stop where they are because their chances of getting it together are better in the house than outside the house oh y'all they gonna say not to me now y'all ain't gonna say nothing to me now and somebody sit next to you and you got their daughter to scoot your behind over what if the lord had moved over when you tried to get close to him had it not been for the mercy and the grace of god oh my god let's talk let's talk he said let them both for those of you all that are the servants that want to pull up the weeds he said leave him alone how dare you put somebody out of a garden you didn't plant this ain't none of your church this is a church of the lord jesus christ he's saying let them grow together i need the poor to sit next to the rich y'all ain't got to say nothing to me i need the free to sit next to the bound some of y'all looking for the wealthy community you found it you sit next to somebody who's a future millionaire they just haven't grown into it yet but you have the ability to water them and watch them be who god created them to be oh my let god grow together let them grow together let them grow together ah you ain't gotta touch somebody look at somebody tell them i'm excited about your future because it does not even yet appear what you gonna be because what you do in these 10 years remember the prophecy at the beginning of 2012 oh my god 2020 what you do in these next 10 years is going to set you up for the rest of your life who am i talking to and i'm ready to grow with you baby i'm ready to see you be everything that god called you to be look at somebody tell them i'm excited about your future [Music] something i'm trying to figure out why they won't call you someone trying to figure out why they left you he said let the two grow together he says the voices he says at that time i would tell the harvesters first pay attention now leave the wheat alone leave the wheat alone because it has not reached its full potential so keep it in the dirt but collect the weeds tap them watch me in bundles watch me now it would be good if the if the weeds would leave one at a time god said watch me because every weed got a collection every weed got a cousin every weed got a friend every weed got a posse and you got to get ready cause if you can't watch me they can't be your friend if they don't like you that's weird behavior you got to cut me but i've never done anything to you but because they told you they don't like me now you gonna cut me that shows that you don't have growth that shows that that is weed so god got away god got away of reaching in the midst of your growth and pulling up what needs to be removed y'all ain't gotta say nothing to me he gotta wait watch me this is painful because there was a part of you that became dependent upon them there was a part of you that felt like you needed them and there was a part of them that they had wrapped their roots around you but god got a way of going in and starting to separate before he even pulled it up he goes around it and starts separating and some of y'all have begin to feel distance from certain things in certain people and you are in your sorting season certain things that used to make you happy don't make you happy no more why because god's beginning to sort you and separate you and then he begins to pull it out watch me and begin to remorse me this is the sword he sees this is the part that hurts the verse because watch me it can't come back it can't come back it must be burned it must be set on fire never to come back into your life again because it did not take advantage of the time that it had with you oh y'all ain't got to say nothing to me and there's somebody oh my god oh y'all better keep up with me now cause why you in here let's go follow me camera let's go god has made them leave his house they not on your praise team no more they not a part of your team no more they are gone but what you gonna do while they gone what you gonna do while they lynn is hearing lynn and anna and i have been friends over 30 some years and when we were at st james nobody knew that lynn was homeless he was literally homeless and would go to hotels and walk the hallway waiting on people to put trays outside to eat and one time he was hungry he went and just took some lunch meat then if something ended up on his record he applied for a job and he kept bringing up some lunch me some lunch me some lunch he stopped washing here then he started twisting here and he was working with somebody just twisting people's hair working at that shop but he kept coming to church kept talking to the right people kept getting watered and he said i think i can own my own shop he opened his shop lockology and the next thing you know he's not homeless he lives downtown stop uh-uh you can hear all this he lives downtown with the view of the lake and the view of the city he drives one of the best cars he dresses in a way that i cannot stand him and now he's in his reaping season stop but there's always some wheat some weeds in his shop to the point that some of them begin to try to break him down and make them think that he was going to lose his garden and some of y'all you thought you were gonna lose you've just been sorted [Applause] how you handle your sorting determines what you got coming in your reaping y'all not saying that to me you're not saying how you handle your sorting you want my truth you want my truth this pastoring stuff i love it but i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy because you're so open to people to treat you any kind of way those that say i'm with you but then they go on those that handle you and then mishandle you those that honor you and then dishonor you those that that trample over you those that get what they want for you and then when you won't give them the mole then they leave you and he's like and there's a part of you this is what i ended up in counseling and it took a therapist to tell me be grateful because if you handle your season of being grateful then you begin to see how god's really been good to you my wife is in the back when i met anna she was living in a one-bedroom apartment with a cheer that she had found in the alley and threw a sheet over to make it look good she went through a divorce and told him keep everything i don't want nothing i just want my freedom but when i saw her i didn't see all of that the first time i got a number i ran out to the control my friend i just got my wife's telephone number i'm joking not knowing i'm prophesying they said what's her name i said her name is anna parish but it's going to be in a henna and we all fell out laughing in the car we all fell out laughing in the car and here she was went through a bad divorce lost everything irs coming after because of that but then here i come to fill the void to make sure that you never have to want for another thing in your life i live to make you happy girl and you ain't never got to worry about me cheating because i only want you y'all ain't got to say nothing to me what am i trying to say to you stop expect me stop looking for the weeds to come back and be open for the wheat so
