MICE, Calves, and El Camino

hi everyone welcome to acres of clay it's another gorgeous day here in michigan and it's like 60 degrees quit stepping on your tippy toes trying to be taller than me i'm not i was trying to get my feelings how's everybody doing and what is the temperature and weather like where you're located we're gonna move some um seed bags that are in the garage because i think there's a mouse in the garage this is the pile of bags that fell and now we have to reorganize them so yeah that's what we're gonna do oh chloe do you smell a rat don't scare him you gotta kind of just let them do their own thing so what we did was we took all of the bags of uh what is this stuff peas and oats i believe and we put them all in here for now because if there's any mice hopefully oh look at this hopefully we got all the mice but i don't want any more in the garage ethan is waxing his alcamino how's it going is it your fun job can we look at your el camino or isn't it detailed inside yet then it's not detailed still a little dusty from all the work he's done he hasn't cleaned on the inside yet he's got this side here waxed get my boots on this is all my plants that i took out of the garage gave them all a drink hopefully they start to perk up now that it's nice out we're gonna clean the calf barn also my chicken coop i really wanted to clean that today don't know if i'll get that far it's already four o'clock worked at cleaning the garage because there was a mouse and not only one mouse but there were several mice so yeah several mice and that was not cool not cool at all okay so looks like nobody's having a baby but they're all eating the one looking at her baby this is her baby and then there's one two three four five that are really close to calving within the next day or so we're gonna be cleaning in here today because well it's just really soiled so i'm gonna move these calves around over on the other side and uh so that way kevin doesn't have to worry about watching out for caps and by the way today i'm wearing my gopro i ordered a gopro hero 9 black i'm also recording on my brand new canon camera which i absolutely love i've only done one video on it but i love it so far all right kevin's waiting so i gotta get [Music] going okay i'm sure you like sucking on that oh yeah that's disgusting really that was fun am i going to be a string [Music] all clean uh kevin's getting the sawdust we'll put some sawdust down before we put the straw down just like we always do even though uh it's very nice out and it's not real wet but the sun helps keep things dry i think we're talking some rain next week though so we'll see so [Music] uh wow come on [Music] so this here was just chaff that was on the barn floor that he scooped up oh no use having that go to waste i think the girls think you guys are all set so kevin is working out this area because he needs to put a ditch here [Music] [Applause] what you doing landscaping just making it so the water up here runs down there oh because if it doesn't if you didn't do that then what well just sit here i thought you said that the water was actually running over the driveway well technically it could but i want to eliminate this little pond so down to that level slope a little bit [Music] [Music] i'm in the calf barn at the moment doing calf chores when it dawned on me that i wanted to address a couple of comments that i've had the past several weeks already some of you have said that you weren't subscribed to my channel anymore or you weren't getting the notifications some of you couldn't leave comments on my uh videos and all different kinds of things and i don't have any control over that i don't even understand it all but my um my suggestion for you all if you're having any issues is go back make sure that you are subscribed hit the little bell and that should notify you every time i put up a new video let me know if you've had any issues in the comments below just leave a comment i'm finishing up calf chores about done here and then kevin's going gonna be moving some more dirt so i'll show you what that is so this is how far he's gotten today um him and sanders kind of worked at moving dirt um and he's just making it so it all kind of runs downhill you know you probably can't tell that in the video but um the driveway is sloped at an angle so it all runs to a ditch just lowering the area and making it so that water runs down this might be a better view for you to see how our driveway goes [Music] uphill so i don't know if you can tell or not but the sunsets right at the end of our road or pretty close anyways maybe just a little off maybe another day or two and it will and today's the first day of spring so we often try to look to see how close it is to lining up with our road and it's it's pretty close all right thank you all for watching hope you have a very blessed day take care
