this is the first ever land crossing immediate to a country to a straight street food tour first ever for me [Music] [Music] oh here we go we're starting this adventure insane Mexican Street food tour we literally just parked in this lot here this is still San Diego yeah that's that if you wanna those hills and there is the wall walking our suitcases across the border into Mexico all right mud morning Jeffrey we meet again this time we're here on the border of California we're walking across the border and we are gonna take you on we're gonna go on what would it be called an insane taco tour for starters ultimate invasion in Saco tour of Tijuana Mexico or with Jeffrey were with the whole LA crew very hungry right now and we're gonna show you all of the tacos and everything that we do in Tijuana in this video [Music] success we have made it welcome to Tijuana Mexico I've been waiting so long to vit I love Mexico it's so happy to be here so happy to start eating Jeffery was just explaining to me that one of the best things about Tijuana is that it brings together people from all over Mexico so you'll find Mexican Street food from all over Mexico in Tijuana congregated in Tijuana and that's why the food scene is so incredibly good yes yes Tijuana Jeffrey the wall may be packed into the fan we are on our way immediately to the first taco place we just pulled into the first place and unfortunately they're closed they're sold out already but that's okay because we have a lot of other places to go and then tomorrow early morning when they're open again we're gonna include it so that will actually be the final above this video you take the chili these stuff is pull important to children and sauce and then chop it up into a taco reminds me of the one you were talking about from Sonora oddly if you want a version of that right now brother right now thank you so first place we are stopping as tacos Mike oh man one of the classic indicators of a good taco stand is it's right next to an auto mechanic so normally you've come here yes and they have different kind of practice and you choose the flavor you want okay and then you also this is like we saw Luis yeah you're City Sheila muchas gracias oh man works literally like what's the rice and beans on through yeah then you get to choose if the choice in from maybe a dozen or at least ten different types of saddle which is like the different varieties of food and meats but the main thing that we can take is the top of the chili and that you know which is stuffed children this baby you wanna do we're just all standing around just just carrying into math your tacos look at the size of that oh it's just so much goodness in the tortilla a double tortilla just that it's just a crowd of people just standing around just scarfing down like the juiciest looking topless each other on let's shoot John and Huck it's like socks are soaked pigskin frankly Chinon the the chili for burner just like bursts with cheese it's been way too long without a taco that good can you I'm not finding words right now to express myself another thing is that the best tacos are just standing like you never want to be sitting when you're eating a taco the best way of standing on the street and back there's no other way and I love how the entire the chili the stem is still on so you've got a little handle that tells you that you've made it to the end of the talk [Music] which is also very sad knowing the only happy thing well the happy thing is that we have a lot more tacos to eat to think and to believe that we just walked across the border for something so beautiful tacos Mike what a stall what a taco to begin with that was incredibly delicious alright let's walk through the next road look I just got my mouth juices flowing okay we're walking on to the next stall it's gonna be most I mean we're gonna eat a mix of different foods but I know it's gonna be mostly tacos today and zero complaints from me tacos Reuben legendary the owner here is in the house you can see the most taco sauce you've ever seen in your whole life it's actually a taco truck of the fan but step into this awning step into the tent section here sizes of every single time you can imagine just lined up it takes up that's actually all not an entire truck away an entire chuckling of celsus Dillon that's like mica we need you guys help can you count the number of bottles while these a taco imagine if you had one sauce / taco you'd have to come here for a week which chuckles every order you might okay toughest at marlott and then so outside the food van they're lighting up the charcoal now to grill up the Marlin for us that is the Marlin right wrap yeah feel like little little like this is a Marlin whoo look at this I smelled shrimp guys there's a mixer they they use for the further shrimp taco they're almost the same okay the same size those are margin and those are shrimp they her apron-pocket oh yeah Christine okay so I said yes it's on video the cheese is melting and making bub bubbling out now they're up okay and they are starting to smell incredible now the smoke coming off of them the cheese is starting to melt inside and just like coat everything and melted busey liquid bubbling cheese and just like char into grilled perfection ready I pick it up goofy my anticipation is just getting stronger and growing by the second bubbles of cheese and that's not even the full process she's going to then take it into them further opens up [Music] which one is the spicy one yes you're yeah we can choose from all 55 different salsas of their spiciest also they have is the habanero it's like a little just perfect roll of happiness in a tortilla the juiciest Marlin the gooey lousiest of the keys the smoke the smoke massive crunch on the crunch and char was the juiciness buzz all those different sauces from the creamy to that to the spicy to the cilantro to that crunch of the cabbage and that habanero sun-sized just it's bumping with flavor bumping with heat with fruitiness I love how my little I'm gonna add on a whole scoop can my next bite they're something truly extraordinary giorgia stuffing toppings sauce it's the four foundations of taco they're all here [Music] a beautiful beautiful veil and amazing amazing ladies in collectors yeah yeah I made them get that yeah which I thought yes thank you so much oh yes I Wow my mouth is just rejoicing rejoicing and the flavors are just lingering muta Rodriguez she's a star legend yeah legend she's a star on the way out I could not resist having one more can I take this one to go we are moving on to the next place I'm bringing this in the car mariscos Reuben pick why not [Music] [Applause] [Music] I will never forget the name Texcoco especially famous for buck buck oh all right yes exactly and they fill this place service barbacoa lamb barbecue lamb I've ever brought back was a master yes place is here this is the original yeah San Diego in Los Angeles this is the temple this is actually voice plays here awesome and immediately step in here you can smell the Lamb that meatiness all and I'm some things looking back at me right now is that the with my gay leave okay it's literally like melting meat like melting lamb and those bones they just literally just see scoot out like you can just hold the bone and it just falls right out of the meat without even hesitation without even any effort that's the ie waiting for you he's got his eye on you sliced it open like a coconut so make sure that the rig has the keys and then you can put salsa every this is hot okay and then the cells apparatchik so she's a notch up ya drunken side this is just to add flavor and then a little bit of onion like everywhere in Mexico and one last touch that's Paco please so Paco just made me the perfect part vodka texcoco taco just a whole rib in a tortilla gift-wrapped package here we go just a fatty gooeyness of that lamb it's like the perfect ratio of juicy gooey meat just falling apart in your mouth on your tongue with the crunch of the onions and the cilantro and that mix of salsas because literally just like you don't even didn't chew that me it's just like presses between your lips and falls apart Jeffrey's special move and he taught me years ago and I've never gone back at Hill veritos yep drench it rehydrate it just an explosion of lambing neste just like overwhelmed if you're just like fills your mouth with happiness I kept an ear out for this place and I always had an eye on this dish it's a no-brainer give this a try and I needed wanna sink your teeth into it take this lovely soft cheek look how that comes up it's like are you kidding that's insane oh then we're going to go in for tongue that's a cheeky there like a brain surgeon are you kidding the brain is that illegal can we call the police mark I would like to present you around the head in 80 days go on and Hammer that but this truly is a thought but they got bass at all the different textures all of the different wooziness --is [Music] all the bridge so rich creamy but at the same time mixed with the cheap which is cheap is like silky that's the hard work thank you I'm gonna scoot the entire eyeball to the front so I get all of the eyeball in one bite all right Cheers they're gonna cheers it's so gelatinous in like so many different ways incredibly soft it tastes like fat and gelatin and like melting LEM like it's also like kind of has a strong Lam patient yeah we train the flan records mama's lamb fries like a log SEP sweet taste to it that's really good it's so custard the chief arms are like whoa it's like solidified jello but this is like it's got the air pocket syrup it's not too sweet either yeah so custardy creamy not too sweet and juicy [Music] we got to move on it's being it's it's a world we're aiming for a very productive food day next up Jeffrey Oh are we walking right I'm gonna walk yeah a red oil of Chili's dry chilies and in California in chili guajillo yohio and meat juices right another stroke of genius is that she takes the bone marrow out which it looks like it's been boiling in juices and then she dips it into the obedia again three dips it rehydrates it then she assembles the entire taco that's just it's so big it's so bulging with both the birria the cow meat and the bone marrow that it doesn't even it doesn't even fold like a regular taco she has to make it cone shape it's like a it's like a snow cone there we go in and going in [Music] explosion that might be the richest taco on earth though explosion that makes melted butter feel hard to chew it literally slides down you cannot even believe the texture and richness of that [Music] [Applause] hit me brother oh and there's habaneros dude well you know I gotta eat that whole yeah no wait if things could not get better she she handed us roasted whole habaneros that we need to just put onto our next fight that's a one biter that's a one letter two years where next of kin you know what we one biter habanero yes in the back the storm a little bit Mike over here comes up up flavors and Carbone it's like wow it's so good that extra heat that roasted miss now she's like a perfect like he to combine with all the juices and all the beats I'm gonna try the next it's creeping up uh-huh go to school bills building in the back of my throat find out by it really that's one of the best I've ever had different definitely one of the richest oiliest greasiest most spectacularly flavorable tacos I've ever had wow that was insanely tasty et bone home it's for you mark we're only out like that just aboard let's go we're already like already you just like laughing at everything you get to that stage we've already and we've already reached that stage oh how deep that is here wants a spoon it's not gonna shovel that into your face Unitas when you do need to know how to swim maybe this you can eat that with a strong yeah yeah oh yeah mistake yeah like a state of another one company there's a cheese in there [Music] they'll be good I put the bunny and the nachos is just like it's just like everything on a pile of fried tortilla chips there's a whole stake in the middle of that nachos on the belt life thank you Wow but amazing about that is the cheese the meat everything Mick and I love those pickled onions [Music] I was gonna end it there but Jeffrey said I could not leave without just trying this is the classic this is the normal this is a classic Tijuana of red taco it's just it's so what it's so juicy she rehydrates it like three or four times throughout the process like oh did you like the tacos just her move I mean the the number one move I think is the car tipping the tortilla into the red sauce you can just feel like the oil just dripping out and the juice is just accumulating in your palm oh well it's just like it's straight magical it's not only a red dot oh but it's a wet taco and a crunchy taco just oozes with meat and oil a little bit of that salsa for this bite lime okay that might be the perfect bite muchas gracias bye-bye okay listo gyuto it's calling that the next the next place tacos a Volvo transcendent transcendent it was it was beyond words the juicy crispiness like how do you even get something how's it even possible to get something that crunchy and that juicy all at the same time in your mouth got out of the van in slow motion everyone's moving slower by now and we just the problem and also the best thing about Kawana is that like everything is in like a 2 or 3 kilometer radius so it just takes like minutes to get to the next place which is both a good and challenging things very nice to meet you nice to meet you I didn't waiting for this a lot of time thank you so cool to meet you here from Tijuana yeah but it's on the table okay which is the Z bit which is the shawarma style upright spit it is just like it's just like juicing meats vertical meat and goodness they say that the original taco in the beginning of time originated in Mexico in Puebla they said he came over from Lebanon with the spits and they there's a place for the originals tacos out of this is what they were called then it migrated to Mexico City and therefore became tacos our passport so the payments officer or from the prompt oh this Mexico City but you come here to DJ and you get the as we heard you come delgarito if you want the best in the world and this is it right here look at that baby it's a thing of beauty he said a hundred kilos of pork marinated crispy from the fat from the bad yeah so that's the move that you call when you dip the tortilla into the oil juice the fat to make it crispy yeah Californian Chile ancho chili salt pepper chicken stock and some other spices secret spices there's no better way to eat a taco than standing and standing number one standing and number two standing in the same place where there make your tacos I'm just gonna stand right here it's just blooming thank you for holding the blade that meat is almost fruity it's so flavorful the chili you actually do dish the clove flavor and then that smokiness the crunchy bits it's so juicy fatty and then you've just got that salsa the creamy guacamole the crunch of the onions [Music] unbelievable the crunchy smoky juicy fatty meat it's been way too long since I've been to Mexico [Music] double jab jack cheese after a jerk with a lotta meat on top it's a classic tackler right here it's actually the signature scene you're not gonna fight this cycle anywhere else in mixed cheese and then with all the sauces Madison it has got some what's going on it's a gourmet in a way I know it's all over my face and dripping down my shirt but this is a gourmet creation [Applause] pepper Undergear explain this in words crunchy adovada me just like the meat is the topping you got after 200 crunch oh there's gonna be insane look out it's actually shimmering it's shining all the drugs have always been a fan of president why little one final bite here is the suet arrow which is it is beef which is braised in pork fat yeah that's right pork back and it's been this video into two parts we eat the incredible shrimp and melted cheese and jeollado the original caesar salad late-night carne asada and we wake up the next morning to eat the tacos we had missed this morning which just might be one of the fastest foods you've ever seen [Music]
