glad in it come on saints let's praise the lord let's thank him father god for waking us up this morning allowing us to see another day lord god you didn't have to do it but you did for i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord one more time father god we magnify your holy name we lift you up lord god for you are worthy holy spirit have your way in this place for you are the king of king and the lord of lords can't nobody do us like you jesus can't nobody do us like the lord this is not a handclap of praise for me it's for our father which art in heaven hollywood be thy name hallelujah to your blessed name jesus thank you lord for healing our pastor blessing him for 30 more years lord god we believe in your report like god whose report we believe we believe in you lord god almighty have your way lord god this is your call to worship amen good morning everyone thank you lord god for this opportunity to be for your beautiful people this morning we just want to praise you and honor you this morning no lord o lord how excellent is your name and all the earth i was glad when they say come let us go into the house and give the lord the praise that he deservedly do today father right now we thank you for you to edify us to bless us to keep us to do everything that need to be done for your holy word and your blessed people this is your servant's prayer in jesus name i pray amen praise the lord everybody praise the lord praise the lord everybody i was glad when they said unto me come let us go into the house of the lord do i have any worshipers in the house this morning i don't know about you but god is worthy to be praised from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same he's worthy he's worthy he's worthy come on i is taken from romans 12 19 through 18. and i am reading from the contemporary english version it focuses on the victories the victorious life rules for christian living be sincere in your love for others hate everything that is evil and hold tight to everything that is good love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself never give up never give up eagerly follow the holy spirit and serve the lord let your hope make you glad be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying take care of god needy people and welcome stranger into your home ask god to bless everything who ask god to bless everyone who mistreats you ask them to bless them and not to curse them when others are happy be happy with them and when they are sad be sad be friendly with everyone don't be proud and feel that you are smarter than others make friends with ordinary people don't mistreat someone who has mistreated you but try to earn the respect of others and do your best to love at peace with everyone and this is the word of [Music] god thank you well praise the lord everybody come on praise the lord everybody that's not just a greeting that's the command praise the we came to let the world know that we're so excited that god has given us our bishop for 30 long years you ever you ever talk to somebody for 30 seconds and realize you didn't want to have that conversation you ever talked to somebody i've been in the space for 30 minutes and realized immediately this is a bad decision but can you imagine pastoring folk for 30 years the ups and the downs the heartaches the happy times can you imagine all the funerals and weddings at the same time for 30 years can you imagine why everybody else is out doing what they want to do you got to study because you got two bible studies and three worship services to do can you imagine that for 30 years i think we ought to celebrate the bishop a little better than that [Music] some of y'all can't hold a job for 30 days let alone 30 years i wish we would celebrate the bishop of this house better than that and so i thought about this i thought about the fact that since 1991 every time there came a challenge the lord turned it around in his favor and blessed him 1991 they tried to kill him off they said after he left his first ministry that he was done but the lord gave him a great house and new birth can we celebrate that [Music] then then they said we knew it wasn't the lord's will because we were wandering in the wilderness for a little while but then the lord gave us the apartment on 132nd street and so i wish you would celebrate that and then they were just like well then you know this thing got too crowded for themselves and so i don't know where they're going to find a house at and then the lord gave us a visionary who had vision to see this place long before it was built and god turned around and blessed them anyway and i don't know if you ever heard the story on how we were back in the high school how while he was trying to prepare and get ready for worship there were those of us who had to use the washroom and so while he's preparing to preach we're like excuse me bishop i gotta get in here cause his office was the bathroom but now he has offices everywhere so i wish we would celebrate that and so because we're connected to him i simply came to tell you that seems like every time we turn around god keeps on blessing us and so i wish we could celebrate that in this house for the next few minutes it's a throwback song but i want to do it this morning tell somebody every time i turn around he keeps blessing me can we go crazy for a few minutes come on in here come on in here i see your new birthday come on in [Music] pop your here [Music] this is your testimony bishop come on say [Music] i know i don't deserve it [Music] the bishop turns around the lord i know i don't deserve with the price the bible says he will bless you out of zion this morning one more time last week i was very much uh intimidated by that and next year i want to go first amen i've already made up in my mind i'm going first next year and they gave me a choice too when to come and i picked this i picked this sunday but i'm glad to be i'm glad to be here i love your pastor to life i do as though he were one of my own blood brothers i do i love this i love this guy and so we're here to give god praise while you're getting the book of jude jude only one chapter in verse 24 and 25 [Music] are commonplace all kinds of diseases people are slipping away economies down people can't get enough paid but as for me all i can say is thank you lord for all you've done for me folks without home [Music] living in the streets drug habits some say they just can't beat [Music] murders and robbers no place seemed to be safe but you've been my protection every step of the way i want to say thank you lord for all you've done for me are there any painful people in the house y'all know i don't sing it could have been me outdoors no food no clothes all left alone without a friend just another number with a tragic here but you wouldn't let it let none of these things be [Music] but you kept my power power [Music] keep on keeping me [Music] i want to say come on man [Music] come on man [Music] let me bring somebody that can do this thing [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you thank you [Music] thank you thank you come on and give god praise on today all the thankful people all the thankful people in the house today i know you've been through some things but we give god thanks today i know it may not be as well as you want it to be but but i thank you lord for all you've done for me god bless you sister caller always happy to see you my dear to god be all of the glory jude says in the final doxology in the bible now unto him that is able to keep you from yet fallen and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy to the only wise god our father our savior who is wise to be glory and majesty and dominion and power both now and forever church say amen amen take somebody say he won't let you fall just look at him and say he won't let you he won't let you fall you may be seated he won't i got a few witnesses with evidence that he won't let you fall i'm here today [Applause] as a witness he won't let you fall somebody came here with a bag full of problems ain't said nothing since you walked in the door got your problems on your mind and your mind on your problems but you need to just start thanking god right now because you could have fell into something right that would have prevented you from even coming to church today you know the devil being busy you you know he set traps for you and he's been trying to make you fall he wants to make you fall but he won't let you fall jude gives this benediction give this doxology in in our church we we use ephesians 3 20 now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that worketh within us today's church people don't usually get to hear the benediction the they call the doxology the benediction and we we are we uh we used to give doxologies a lot in the old church now we we pray and and somebody exhausts we pray and then we go into the praise and worship that there used to be a doxology there used to be a doxology wherein people would start off the service amen given a word of exhortation through the scripture and then at the end of the service uh they'll they call it the doxology as well dr curry we say benediction but they call it a doxology really coming in and going they said may the lord watch between me and thee while we are absent one from another now may the peace of god the sweet communion of his holy spirit rest rule and abide with thy people both now and forever somebody will say may god be with you they start singing may god be with you till we meet again may god be with you until we meet again when i got in coconut grove at my first assignment there was a bahamian community there and they sung another virgin of god be with you they sung god be with you till we meet again by his counsel guide uphold you with his sheep security fold you god be with you till we meet again then they say till we meet again till we meet again god be with you until we meet again jude the half-brother of jesus after giving us a 23 22 verses prior to our verse he had been he said i started off the letter talking about something that i was going to talk about something else but god directed me to this and he goes through different topics and he finally gets to the end of the one chapter letter and he says now now now now let me talk about how god will keep you uh he'll preserve you on earth he'll present you in heaven and he ought to be praised right now he says he says the god that we serve will keep you he said he is able i like back in the day when the pastor would preach that he would talk about the earsness of god i'd like to hear pastor c talk about how god is and i know that sometimes we talk about god in the present and the future but god is god always was is the easiness of god is powerful because he's right now god he he said god is able thank god for the ableness of god but then he said he's able to preserve you he's able to keep you lord help me to walk through this point here god was able to keep you now unto him that is able to keep me from falling i like it because god is a keeper you sing a song mother carter back in the day oh to be kept by jesus kept by the power of god kept through toils and trials i'm come i'm trending where jesus tried oh to be kept by jesus psalm 121 talks about how god will keep you he said he who keeps you neither slumbers nor sleep he said the lord is thy keeper the lord is thy shade upon thy right hand the son shall not smite you by day noah the moon by night somebody needs to know today it's not that little weapon that you got that's keeping you i know you got them you don't snuck them into the building but you that ain't what's keeping you it's not the alarm system that you have in your house that keeps you thieves and robbers walk up and down your street all night long it's not the dog in the yard that keeps you we have angels posted by our bedside that keep us night and day the angel of the lord encamps around those that fear him to show themselves strong in our behalf somebody shall he's a keeper he he will keep you even when you don't know how to keep yourself he'll keep you that's good because he'll say he keeps us from fallen in the original it says he keeps us from stumbling i like that because uh it's even greater than falling because you usually stumble before you fall you don't hear me today i said usually i said usually unless you just drop straight down usually there's an effort to catch yourself before you fall you usually before you hit the ground there's an effort to keep your balance and so he's he said he won't even let you stumble nah the bible says that god is a keeper we living in times now i know people are reluctant to come back to worship i understand their reluctancy uh to come back to organize and in person worship and some have gotten content in just watching the streaming services i saw a report on yesterday that millennials and generation z they they don't want to go back to work they don't want to go back to the workplace uh they have been working remote for over a year now and they have still been productive and and but yet the job now is trying to call them back to the workplace i know you've been working remotely you had your laptops your computers at home but now that we're trying to get back to some normalcy the employer is saying it's time for y'all to come and stop punching a clock again it's time to come back on the site and this generation is saying we don't want to go back to normalcy we've been effective we've been efficient we've been getting our work done so why do we have to go to a place and punch a clock and monopolize my whole day it takes an hour to get there and an hour to get back i got to be around people that i don't like and they don't like me why do i have to go back to the workplace and many of them are quitting the job and finding new jobs that are progressive enough to allow them to have a balance of working and handling other businesses you see that's a good argument i really ain't mad with him with that argument what the problem is it don't stop at the workplace the problem is they also transfer that logic to the lord's house and now they're saying the same thing why do i have to come to this place to worship when i've been worshiping effectively at home why do i have to dress up and come and sit around people that's going to judge me because i ain't living as holy as them why can't we just stay at the home well i understood the argument about the workplace but i can't give you that on the worship place because the choir song i was glad when they said unto me let's go to the house of the lord i thank god for the streaming and what it was a blessing to us when we were out i thank god that we were able to still worship with while the pandemic was going on but can i tell you it wasn't like church it felt good i enjoyed watching it but it was nothing like being in the number it was nothing like a coming and worshiping with one another ain't nothing like the place [Applause] oh yeah you can you can have church in your underwear you ain't got to dress up you can stay home but can i tell you it's a blessing in the pressing when you press your way out to the house of the lord we need your presence in the place this place is anointed can i be honest with you even as a pastor uh we pre-recorded the services and the first few months i sat there and was gazed into the service but by the third or fourth month i was multitasking i was watching the service and cooking dinner i was watching the service and cleaning the house when you watching the service you need to be somewhere sitting down letting god speak to you [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i ain't trying to mess with you but you can't tell me you're scared to come in here and you go everywhere else you can't tell me you're scared to come here but you go to publix you can't tell me you're scared to come here and work on a job for eight hours we cut down the service time to allow you to come and worship safely in this place [Music] ain't no place like this place and no place like this place where you sick and shut in you watch the television when you're out of town and can't get here you watch the stream but when you healthy and able to get yourself up you ought to get yourself up and get back to the lord's house it's something about bleeding on the ground and i'm talking about when you get even here uh today trying to get here the police have roped off a section and we couldn't come like we had been used to come and my one of my one of my brothers said you think folks going to go back home cause they can't get in that way i said listen brother when somebody wants to get in the house they'll find a way to get in they'll drive all the way around go all up to 27 turn around do a u-turn cut through the parking lot come in the gate that's open because i want to get here to this place [Music] you ain't got to be scared of this place because if god kept you in your place he'll keep you in his place [Applause] we have on the mass we take the temperatures we suck we sanitize the facilities to make it effort to make it safe in the place for at some point you just got to believe that god will keep you [Music] i said we try to social distance we we sanitize the place we still take temperatures ah we we still wear mass but at some place and sometimes you got to say god i know you're able to keep me even while i'm in the place and i'm just convinced that god won't let you fall he won't let you fall he's able to keep me from stumbling not only will god keep you from falling and only will god preserve you he'll also present you he'll present you blindness he'll present you thoughtless and that's important to me because i can't present myself if you're going to stand before the lord you need somebody to present you you need somebody that have paid the price for us the only way that you can be blameless is if somebody else took the blame the only way that we can be thoughtless is if somebody else was fought for and i thank god for jesus that's what my grandmother used to say she said baby thank god for jesus [Music] thank god for him taking our place thank god for calvary thank god he paid the price on calvary's cross it should have been me on the cross it should have been you on the cross but he loved us so much he died for our sins and so he says now unto him that's able to keep me from falling and to present me faultless before the presence of this glory not with sadness but with exceeding joy when you stand before the lord you ain't got to stand there scared to death because your name is already written in the book of life and if your name is in the book you can stand before god blameless it don't mean ain't made mistakes it don't mean i haven't messed up it don't mean i'm a perfect pastor it don't mean i haven't missed a mark what it does mean is uh i've been covered by his blood and we're seeing a pound much more abundance and so i thank god today that i have been presented on earth preserved on earth and present it in heaven but help me close the messenger by telling you what he said to the only wise god our savior i said to the only wise god our savior there's nobody like him i said there's nobody like him to the only wise god our savior listen what he said be glory and majesty dominion and power just those four things i wish you can get it in your spirit to god be all the glory to god beyond the majesty to god be our dominion and to god beyond the power all the glory all the majesty our dominion and all the power is there anybody here that's been killed by the lord that can show the lord a little appreciation can you open your mouth and say those words all the glory the majesty our dominion and all the power belongs to god i don't want no glory i don't want no majesty i don't want no dominion i won't take his power i give the lord i give him praise who am i talking to when i look at the bishop and i know it's been 30 years but the last four years has been kind of rough i want to tell y'all today through i know he still got a ways to go but is there anybody here and just thank the lord he kept him it is he's driving his own car living in his own house getting dressed by himself god has kept him won't he keep you i said won't he keep you i want you to take five seconds and give god praise for keeping you up won't he do it i said won't he don't have the people at home give god glory oh god won't god keep you i said won't god preserve you with the enemy resting like a flare raise a standard up against him and i've lived long enough to see a thousand fall on one side and ten thousand on the other side and god killed me somebody shot glory forever ever and ever and ever ever and ever and ever when you give god honor i'll do it excuse me if my worship seems excessive excuse me if my praise is undignified but you don't know what the have done for me you don't know how low you reach to pick me up i pray yes it belongs to him i'm here he's kept me [Music] i ain't got nothing to brag about [Music] god kept me [Music] dangerous seen and unsinking god killed me not because i've been so good just kept me killed my family kept my children kept my grandkids everybody don't recover from a stroke [Music] some people never look like normalcy again somebody complaining that you're not this he not that but you ought to give god praise god and if the lord begot a good work to fulfill it he had completed i'm just waiting for god to complete what he started i'm just waiting on god to finish the [Music] work don't touch nobody but just look at him and say he kept me he kept me he kept me i'm kept i live like a kept brother i'll be walking around here looking like i'm unkempt i won't be dressing like i'm unkempt he keeps me man [Music] it keeps me [Music] the devil been wanting to get to you a long time but god has kept you he wants to destroy your family he wants you to be divorced he wants you to end up in a bad situation but you're here right now because god has kept you i'm finished [Music] he kept me can anybody say so many times so many times so many times i got myself in what i couldn't get myself out but god kept me somebody say through bankruptcy god kept me when i ain't have enough money to get through the month god kept me they were sending me all kind of notices talking about they're going to turn off this and take back that and i ain't have it but some kind of way god made a way jose every time i turn around i saw another blessing god kept me everywhere i go i carry myself like a kept brother he kept me man i'm out of here that's all i came to say he won't he won't let you fall look at somebody say he won't let you fall you may he won't let you fall it's going to be all right [Music] ain't no need to worry what the night is going to bring it'll be all over in the morning and when the morning comes it's going to be all right and it's it's the morning is already coming come on now it's about to be a change it's a it's a shift getting ready to happen i'm gonna drop the mic when i told you if he kept me through that i know he'll keep me through this [Music] you ain't gotta know where my that was but i should not have survived that that should have killed me that should've took me out that should have made me lose my mind but when god got me through that i know he'll get me through that [Music] anybody came to church for a word today anybody can say i got my word today i got i got my way i'm gonna stop complaining about anything because god has kept me man should i open the door of the church or somebody else's somebody hallelujah somebody that may not have oh god somebody that may not have a church home huh and you know you're not justified in living in life like you're living with god to kept you through too much for you just to be wandering around drifting around you need to be in the church man you need you need to serve god give him the rest of your days [Music] people don't even know what you've been through god has brought you and if you don't have a church home today it's your day oh my gosh if he kept you through that he's going to get you through this i don't know what your this is but your this probably ain't worse than that in fact that got me ready for this i'm preaching i'm still preaching in fact if it wasn't for that i couldn't handle this [Music] that built up my faith that built up my spiritual muscles that let me know that that the trouble don't last always and now when this comes i shake my head and say uh you can't make me doubt it [Music] i know too much about it y'all gonna make me lose my reputation as being a short winded preacher i'm the preacher that has the reputation of not keeping you alone but when i start thinking about how god kept me [Music] oh god that may not mean much to you because you don't know my story you don't know some of the stuff i got myself into you think because i'm arthur jackson good son you you say well i understand if alex was up here shouting i understand if art was up here shouting but you say alfonso you ain't been through enough like that but you don't know if it had not been for the grace of god i wouldn't be here today god killed me [Music] oh those of you that are watching through streaming you need a church home as well you need to contact the numbers on your screen you need to get in contact with this ministry and
