here because he made a way for you to stand here my God my God boy that was good to me man go turn around greet 2 or 3 of your neighbors and bless them tonight amen we have been dealing with this issue on emotions and I guarantee you boy I guarantee you Satan been trying to mess with folks emotions some I sell all you showing up telling the truth my rep but but listen to what I'm saying here now it is it is it's almost like Mammon where you know people wore masks where Mammon was concerned and then we started remember those weeks we started unmasking the spirit of Mammon and you begin to understand that it's the same thing here where your emotions it is Satan who will ride your emotions like a wave to try to move you in a direction away from the will of God the Latin meaning for the word well it's not a word but that word e in front of emotions that word a means up out and away in the Latin means up out and away and E and then motion so what the enemy tries to do is to get on your negative emotions to move you up out and away from the will of God for your life now circumstances will happen things happen in life in you'll have tribulation they that live godly shall suffer persecution it happens but what we're trying to teach you over the last several weeks is to learn how to harness those emotions and a bad emotion happen now instead of that negative emotion moving you up out and away you now have learned how to harness those emotions to move you towards the will of God and to keep you choice the will of God and I remember what I said to you a few weeks ago worse I made this statement that self-control was a gift from God designed to move you in a direction towards the plans that he has already made for your life so there are godly emotions and there are ungodly emotions godly and most seething the objective is not to try to teach you to become emotionless that's not what we're trying to say you have emotions so we're not trying to we're not saying be emotionless when things happen have no emotions that's not going to happen that's gonna happen anyway you're a human you're going to have emotions and depending on what happens it's gonna depend on whether it's going to be a you know of a painful emotion or not so painful emotion remember an emotion emotions are feelings on the inside caused by pain or pleasure to move you in a direction so let's just say a painful situation happen and it calls and triggered painful emotions all right what I'm trying to teach you is how do you deal with those painful emotions how do you harness those painful emotions how do you master those painful emotions so that they won't master you since you have authority over emotions you get to decide ultimately where you gonna go negative emotions are designed to move you away from the will of God for your life godly emotions are designed to move you closer to the will of God for your life so now all of a sudden this this is vital you have to accept responsibility for your emotions say out loud I am accountable for my emotions turn your Nate and say you are accountable for how you feel you haul off and slap somebody and say I couldn't help it yes you can you are accountable for how you feel there are more tragedies that happen because of emotions people end up in ditches because of emotions relationships are all torn apart because of emotions people lose great jobs because of emotions family members because of emotions and you've got to learn how to harness your emotions now this past Sunday we talked about mastering your emotions with with joy I mean y'all got a hold of that Matt and then laughing last Wednesday we talked about that now tonight I want to talk about mastering your emotions watch this with peace peace peace peace peace say it peace alright now let's look at this let's begin here tonight in Saint John chapter 16 verse 33 I I was I don't I don't know I was you know I am I'm doing something last night and and this just came on me he said peace peace you can you can harness your emotions with peace and I grabbed the first thing I get which was an envelope and I went at it and I thought oh my goodness this is gonna be awesome let's begin here in st. John 16 and verse 33 peace peace in the middle of all kinds of stuff now it's crazy out there in the world I don't know if you've noticed it it's crazy what am i when I say it's crazy out there what am I saying the mindset is crazy the way people think crazy how people draw conclusions crazy how it used to be true all of a sudden not true create how they do things how to make decisions it's crazy there's what I'm saying it's just not lining up with the word and we're kind of in a word drought Christian people who come to church don't you wanna hear no word no mom give me an inspiring speech give me some life coaching stuff and send me a home and don't go past 30 minutes ain't wide like that y'all might need to go find you another shirt ain't even first of all I got to show you some scripture and secondly I got to let the Holy Ghost lead and guide me amen now listen to this tonight we're gonna learn how to how to use peace we're gonna learn how to use peace to master negative emotions and and I'm telling you now this is a dangerous message why do you say that because as soon as I finish preaching his message I don't know where y'all got to go tonight but Satan is plotting and planning to contradict every word that I share with you to try to rob you of your peace immediately and I'm going to show you how to deal with the circumstances because there's there's a power and an authority associated with peace if you know how to use it correctly a man John 16:33 let's get on it he said let's read it out loud together ready to read these things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace in the world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer I've overcome the world now notice what he said in the first part here this is so vital these things I have spoken unto you so who's doing the speaking here so Jesus says I have said some things unto you and he said I said some things unto you that she the reason why I said what I said now Jesus spoke words right so the reason why I said what I said is so you can have what so you can have what so peace is a result of what Jesus said jesus said I spoke these words so you can have peace so peace comes from hearing the word just like join us Jesus is saying I'm not wasting words my words are filled with power to benefit you so he says I have spoken unto you that you might have peace so that lets me know I now and where I can go to get some peace and it's a it's in God's Word where do you go to get some peace it's in God's Word where do you go to get some peace isn't God's work but when when stuff happens in your life the question you have to ask yourself is how often do you go to God's Word when you lack peace how often you heard something you saw something something happened right with your money it inner peace wasn't there did you go get you some word to get you some peace if you want some peace you got to get some work you can't depend on the people around you to give you peace and you can't depend on changing circumstances to give you peace there is a guaranteed place I can tell you about to get some peace anytime you need some some peace you know where that place is the Word of God so when you lack peace the advice is to go get some word turn your neighbors say it's time to get some word when you get your words you get you what when you get your peace you have some what yeah that's good that is correct but now I'm not talking about Jordan I what am I talking about I'm talking about peace at night joy comes from the Word of God but when you get some word he said I said what I said that's good let's put it together I said what I said so you can have peace now what is the world the word will give you peace what does the world give you tribulation so the word gives you peace the world gives you trouble the word gives you get you get peace from the word you get trouble from the world all right now one of the things he said to do is in the world you will have tribulation he says but be of good cheer have joy why because he's overcome the world how did it overcome the world peace peace peace and I'm gonna show you this cuz you I'll show you what Jesus came in and the Angels made an announcement and they said peace is now on earth now goodwill towards men so the thing I want you to see in this scripture from the word you get peace from the world you get trouble so if your and yeah we're not we're not of the world but we're in the world and you're gonna get you're gonna have some trouble because you in the world but here's what he said I've given you my word so anytime you get some trouble go get some word so you can get some peace if you understand that say Amen now go to second Corinthians chapter 13 and 11 second Corinthians chapter 13 and 11 now notice what he says here and we want to start off slow so you can get each of these scriptures he says finally brethren farewell sin Corinthians 13:11 and finally brother-in farewell be perfect be of good comfort be of one mind live in what peace live in peace all right so you know you're gonna have some trouble but Jesus says I gave you some words so you can get some peace and he's saying live in peace alright so what happens if I make the decision to live in peace I'm also making decision to live in that word and live in that word and live in that word and let that word live in me abide in that word and that and that word abides in you you have what you will because that word will now shape your will or shape your desires it says live in peace and what will happen and the God of love and peace shall be with you how many won't got with you he said live in peace and the God of peace will be with you live in peace and the God of peace live now that's not having a lot of people you let the troubles of the world cause your mind and your thinking and your emotions to get all cloudy and while you are all cloudy and all freaked out and your emotions are going all over the place you're opening your what's your God says I can be with you when you're in peace fight to be in peace fight to be in peace when you're in peace then the God of peace is with you when you're in fact God uses peace as something to really give evidence of when it's God or not the Bible says let the peace of God rule in your heart somebody says how you know that was God because the peace of God was the umpire that in my heart that the peace of God rule in your heart there's something about there's an association and an attachment between God and peace and sometimes you need God when you're in trouble but you need to be at peace that's why I said be still and know that God is God there are lots of things trying to move you and notice when your emotions are being impacted they're trying to move you away from the things of God and I guarantee you when your emotions our negative emotions are not being harnessed and you're not experiencing emotional stability it's trying to move you away from peace fight to remain at peace so the first thing you do is you become a Christian who now values the importance of the Word of God something happens when you take two or three scriptures concerning your situation and just stare at them and milk them and say it out loud and read it and look at it what's happening something's going on on the inside now let me give you this definition the Lord showed me today here's what peace is security in the mists of tour moil security in the midst of trouble okay let's break it down security is freedom from care and worry and stress it's freedom security is freedom from care from worry from stress it's unfounded confidence think about that now freedom here's what peace is peace is freedom from worry and anxiety and care and stress Wow in the midst of trouble that's trying to give you care worry and stress but you know what happens when you have this unfounded confidence or excuse me well-founded confidence it's found it not unfounded but well-founded confidence in him you get into word you read the word you meditate on the word it builds your confidence up and all of a sudden the word is producing peace in you or you now have freedom because you're in the word you have freedom from the care freedom from the stress freedom from the worry because of this well-founded confidence in that scripture that you're meditating in now a lot of people in the world don't know how to do that but she was a Christian need to know how to do that people ask me it's not had I've had several people around my life asked me how in the world could you take so much persecution well I don't I don't want to stay in the world I have to step out and I have to get in the word and I've got to meditated in that word because about to pay attention and what everybody is saying it'll rob me of my peace my emotions that you follow what I'm saying peace is the only place I got to go I got to go where the word is where the word is the words gonna give me that well-founded confidence and the word is gonna give me freedom freedom from care freedom from stress freedom from anxiety and worry now if you don't do it you'll never know what I'm talking about some of you have done this before and you uqu or you can bear witness tonight yes I did it it was the only place I could go that's the only that's the that's the only way I knew to get some relief it's to get in the word it was going crazy in your life and you did something that most people won't understand you went and picked your Bible up and you looked up all of these scriptures and you stayed there and when you left you were not you were free from the worry you were free from the stress you were free from the anxiety I'm telling you Jesus says I spoke these words so you can have my peace and we won't even go get them and I'm telling you in the name of Jesus when you live in peace the God of peace is with you there are things that that can happen in your life when you're at peace that you're trying to figure out why they're not happening when you're worried and stressed out and and full of care and that's why I tells you a cashier care on him before he cares for you what he wants you to live a life of peace live in peace live in peace and the God of love and peace will be with you but you know what happens the circumstance happens and now it triggers an emotion a negative emotion that's trying to move you away from the will and the blessings of God in your life what you have to do I recognize that this negative emotion has been triggered by this circumstance I recognize that I'm full of fear and I'm full of anxiety and worry and stress so I've got to now go to the medicine cabinet the Bible and I got to get me to three scriptures now and I got to take two or three a day my god listen I'm telling you what I know I don't know how long it was ago but I suffered with a great bout of depression to the point it was it was bad it was bad and I went to my wife and I said help me and she she looked at me she says all I know to tell you is to do what you know to do and and I knew it was demonic she arranged the trip so we could just kind of get away from everything and and we went to Nassau and we were walking down the street and I kid you not this apparent demon-possessed woman you could see it all on her she runs and she gets right in front of me and she says and you didn't he's just crazy stop man of God counts of me help me she was doing all the stuff that was the pressure and the stuff on me man my wife's turning from she says you devil in the name of Jesus you get out of here I don't want to took off running down the street I got away enough and and what I did I did this I took all of the Scriptures on worry stress care and everything that was going on and I put them in categories and I set it out loud three times a day or any time I felt like I needed it and and and that's all I know to do the word from Bert was do what you know to do and I said it out loud three times a day or sometimes it will be eight times a day well finally in the middle of that week praying in the spirit and saying those scriptures I began to notice that all of the depression was being replaced with peace and I started getting a freedom from the care and and freedom I mean I've never you know I thought pastoring was gonna be like a bunch of delightful people coming together and we're all gonna love each other and love God and I never met such mean people for my life I thought I got to get out of here this is I want to die this is not what I ever expected for it to be and I heard the word of the Lord see the Bible says live in peace and the God of peace shall be with you see once I got in peace then I heard the word of the Lord and in the word the Lord came to me and it was a strange word he says you've committed treachery and treason against your spirit I said lord I don't know what that means and I just begin to study it out and he and then he spoke to me again he says you've been preaching out of an empty spirit these are the days where I would get like a hundred and some invitations and I would try to take all of them I mean I would go to one meeting in the morning fly and get to another one that night and then fly back to the other one to finish up the week and then fly over the country and that time I think we were having Wednesday night service what Wednesday night Friday night services Saturday morning prayer Sunday morning four times and then I leave after the sunday morning and fly somewhere to do something for three or four days and then come back on the Wednesday night to do that and and it and he said you have committed treachery against your spirit he says you keep preaching out of an empty spirit and and you can't appreciate it from this day forward never again preach out of an empty spirit you preach out of the overflow of within your spirit see this thing I'm talking about tonight I'm throwing over this thing so I couldn't wait to get here to talk to you about the bus burst and I heard this I remember the day when I was just overflowing just make no confession the care had gone the anxiety had gone distress had gone and the peace was there and I in us and I stood up off my knees and I said alright I'm ready and the room shook I'm promised you know no from this day forward don't you ever preach out of an empty spirit even if you have to preach the same message it'll come out differently but preach out of the overflow and I'm telling you that's the day I realize that vacations and rest that they are spiritual rest is a spiritual thing you understand what I'm saying why what happened when I got in peace the goddess got a peace met me there some of y'all need to step away some of y'all got too much clutter in your mind in your soul and you just need to step away just for a minute just I know everybody got issues they always have issues at all your kids are always there everybody always have issue something you just need to kind of step away and you need to quiet your soul you need to calm your emotions down you need to get in a word and watch that word get on the inside of you and free you from the care free from the worry free you from the stress give you well-founded confidence and what you've been meditating in that it actually comes to pass and I tell you what I am alive and healthy today because the word gave me peace while the world was giving me trouble amen and those days I thought well you know God gave me this revelation on prosperity and almost everybody I know is broke they're gonna love me when I teach this message I'm gonna preach this message to prosperity around the world and people are gonna finally get free didn't happen that way did not happen that way at all and I tell you what it shocked me I was blown away and I said man but I tell you what when when the flick shion's and trouble comes from the world you go to the word I'm talking to you like this because listen to me this just cannot be a sermon tonight you got to literally go pick your bottle up or your phone program to funk Syria I need as many scriptures you can find on peace I've meditated in that word and drive the devil away from your emotions if you understand that say Amen now look at Saint John 14:27 now let's travel a little bit and that the Scriptures talk to us that the Scriptures talk to us i declare your freedom from care and stress and worry amen in the name of Jesus I said I could have Claire you free your I call you free right now piece of security or freedom from care stress and worry in the midst of trauma I know I can't say I know because nobody in here really knows what everybody in here going through but whatever you going through do not pitch a tent in that place because God didn't mean for you to stay there he just meant for you to go through it so turning your neighbors they come out [Music] 27 peace I leave with you jesus said peace I leave with you my peace I give unto you oh boy oh boy not as the world giveth give on to you no no no no no no I'm not giving you the peace like the world good no I'm giving you my peace he says now watch this here's what you can now do now that you have the peace of Jesus let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid see when you go to the word to get some peace let not those we sent you now are responsible for making sure that your emotions don't drive all that junk in your heart don't let your heart be trouble you know what that means if you are troubled in your heart you let it don't let it be troubled oh but brother doll y'all know what I'm going through do not let your heart be troubled now here's the next thing how you supposed to do that I just told you how to do that you're gonna have to really not be a Christian instead of acting like one and wearing a t-shirt now you have to really be one let not your heart be troubled now the responsibility is on you I am NOT gonna and it that might be a good way to start off by making that confession I will not allow my heart to be trouble I would not and somebody says well how do you do that what the Bible says in proverbs 4 he said give attention to the word go to proverbs 4 around verse 20 I started there give attention to the word and he says you can guard your heart by guarding your I gate your ear gate and your mouth gate look what he says my son attend to mine there it is give attention to my wife he didn't say give attention to the care he didn't say give attention to the problem or distress he said give attention to my word and do what would she ears incline your ears under my saying verse 21 he says let them words not depart from your eyes keep them words in the mist your heart keep it in the midst of your heart verse 22 forth babe those words are life unto those that find them and watch this there even health to all their flesh praise God verse 23 glory he says keep thy heart another word another word here's to guard your heart with all diligence for out of your heart are the issues of life comes through your I gate gets into your mind becomes a part of your emotions you now put it in your heart and now the issue was borne out of the attention you gave it the issue was born out of the attention you gave it and he says you don't have to do it let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid so you have authority over what gets in your heart you have authority of a trouble heart you even have authority over a broken heart I mean things happen and and you know I'm sure everybody has had their heart broken once or twice but you have authority over that you guys just start working yourself out here you got to get the glue and start piecing it back together again you just can't sit there jar broken all over the place you got to live you got to keep living my heart is broke I feel like I just want to die no you you you have authority now you can go that way if you choose to or you can take authority and say no I'm not gonna do that i'ma go to work give me some peace glory be to God and I'm gonna be free from care free from stress even free from grief grief is you know you're suffering the loss of someone you you see it as a loss and you've got to learn how peace can be used as a weapon you are you determine you determine ladies and gentlemen the condition of your heart you do by making the choice either Satan's gonna ride that negative emotion get you away from the word well of God are you gonna get into work immediately and say I'm here to get some peace I'm here to get some peace all right now let's look at this go to Romans 14 and 19 romans 14 and 19 and i'm spend some more time on how to get this piece verse 19 says let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace look at that so there's something something there's things we got to follow after and that's the word things we got to follow after things that make people peace and things wherewith one may edify one another so what are you following after not only getting the word but what are you hanging around are you hanging listen let's just be straight you hanging around people that stress you out then it's the wrong flop man some of ya'll call these people your friends they're not your friend at all they're they're leeches they're are so shits they're pitiful people who don't value themselves they're looking for somebody to be as miserable as they are you can you could you probably will feel better by yourself then with some of the people you hang with I said you'll probably feel better by yourself instead of hanging around with somebody that's making you feel some kind of way you don't even know what it is we just you know every time you hang up that person you just stop feeling some kind of way what stop hanging out with somebody who making you feel some kind of way that you can't even label they make you feel so bad you don't even know how you feel why'd it make you feel some kind of way what's that you know what TAF and I talked a program yesterday on the difference between being alone and lonely there's a difference you can be around a lot of people and still be lonely loneliness can occur because of past rejections betrayals things that you kind of hang on to and and sometimes you think well if I could just get whip people I won't be lonely anymore you're just putting a bandaid on that and you know it's it's just not gonna work out right until you can learn how to be okay with you by you by yourself you're really not gonna be okay around other people you got to be okay with everything about you seriously you got to be okay you quit comparing yourself amongst yourself wife says we must not do that don't compare yourself amongst yourself see every time you compare yourself amongst yourself you limit God because when you compare yourself amongst yourself you're saying this is as far as I can go and then you start looking for somebody else well such as Saudi and that see you just limit it God because you said to them this is as far as I can go I don't do it anymore I don't have any time to be comparing myself amongst myself I look at Jesus and when I don't see Jesus is like oh boy we can do this absolutely if they discover life on Mars I will begin to believe God for space shuttle because they need a gospel yeah some of which I'll talk about if they discover life on Mars or what am I saying I'm going to preach the gospel Omar's on have been everywhere else might as well go all Mars to preach the gospel well that's foolish well you better hope they don't discover life on Mars because God may call you to go with me amen all right let's work on getting this some more Romans eight and six how do you get peace let's just get it nailed down on a practical place how do I get peace my feelings are going nuts man I mean some of you had to just really push yourself here the Bible study and I am so glad I'm so glad but you'll notice after church tonight you're gonna you're gonna be a little more freer from the cares and the worries and the stress the situation will still be there but if you'll get on peace side then gotta be there and that situations start changing okay for B for to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life in peace alright now what is the carnal mind a carnal mind some people would just say it needs flesh well a carnal mind is to be it's a mind that's dominated by the five senses it's a mind that's dominated by what you see about what you hear about what you feel so God gave you those five senses the senses so you can enjoy life but it doesn't want you to be dominated by those senses so you see something and what you see just dominate your whole life that's not what he meant or you you you you you you hear something and all that just dominates and occupies your whole life no they're not to dominate your life that they don't bring about an awareness but not to dominate so what he says is if you allow your senses to dominate your life it's gonna lead to death meaning separation from God it's gonna lead to death and then ultimately once you involve yourself in spiritual death it'll bring in such a dis easement that eventually you'll die as well but he says but to be spiritually minded so John 6:63 says you know the word is spirit so again we know that when the Word of God is preached and then you receive the Word of God the word is spirit the only only place you can get it become spiritually minded is from the Word of God that's why I'm saying a Christian is trying to be a Christian without the Word of God limits his authority on the planet it's the Word of God that grants you access to certain authorities that you have over physical things and we've become so carnal minded that we just rule out the fact that we can have authority over this physical world because we don't know anything about how to obtain the spiritual equipment to take authority over the physical world and the Bible says to be spiritually minded the only way you can become spiritually minded is to renew your mind with the Word of God which is spirit okay and so you take the word which is spirit you renew your mind with it you become spiritually minded he says now that's you're spiritually minded you're gonna have life and peace remember what I said as go so goes your mind set also goes your emotion set whatever you're exposed to determines the way you think the way you think determines what you feel what you feel determines the decisions you make your decisions determine your actions your actions determines your habits your let's determine your character your character determines your destination if you do not like your destination just go and reverse if you don't like your destination change your character if you don't like your character change of habits if you don't like your habits change your actions if you don't like your actions change your decisions if you don't like your decisions change the way you feel if you don't like what you feel if you don't like the way you feel if you don't like the way you feel change the way you think if you don't like what you're thinking change what you're exposing yourself to what you hanging around what you're hearing what you're watching what you're doing what you're doing you know what you're doing whatever you're doing the most see what happens is we create habits first and then those habits we create it turn around and create us what I ain't none wrong what I'm doing oh yeah no no you're gonna create a habit and then that happens gonna turn around and create you which now becomes your character and then it's gonna lead you to your destination this is life this is life it's just the world's gotten so out there it's almost like very few people understand how life works anymore we think that you know que sera sera where you are right now is a result of a decision because the decision is the open door into reality it doesn't become a reality until you make a decision and once you make a decision then you're gonna act and then once you act then you're gonna create a habit coz what you do to most is what's gonna create a habit then it happens gonna create a character and that character is what people have come to know about you and what you come to know about yourself and then you end up in a destination because of what you do when you're not seeing real character is not what you do in public it's what you do what nobody can see you and you're being your your your subject to doing stuff that nobody is not seeing so coming to church and pretending and and coming to church and perfecting phone in this and putting the mask on that doesn't help I don't mind sharing with you the crap I've gone through in my life if it can help you but I'm not gonna get up here put a collar on stand up on the pulpit and act like I am a person because I'm a preacher and ain't never had no issue how I'm gonna take you somewhere I ain't been there myself I'm telling you I know where the finish line is I know where that line you gotta cross and I'm telling you if you get cross that line and you get just the taste of victory then you'll know the devil does not control your life and you'll know you are not stuck you got to become spiritually minded if you want peace in life spiritual mindset produces peace in life spiritual mindset you know you know your maturity is based on whether or not you are spiritually minded or carnal mind it you are not an immature Christian cuz you only been saved a week you are immature Christian because you still can't control your emotions you are immature Christian because you don't have emotional stability you're an immature Christian because you still going off on folks you can't you can it tells a lot about a person who can't control their emotions you come to church and you figure well I'm upset something to cuss you out you are immature baby Christian need to go over go back 209 and I new beginners class again and learn all over again because what what determines if you're a mature Christian not cuz you've been safe for thirty years all your life you are a mature Christian because you are spiritually minded and you know how to harness your emotions you know how to control your emotions the weakest man in the plant on the planet is what the guy who can't control his emotions you so weak you get upset and then you want to get back with somebody cuz you fear being disrespected and then you put your hands on them and then they smart now so they're gonna suit you for battery simple battery but it's enough to send you in jail because your probation at this time and now you in jail now you don't lost your job all this stuff happen cuz you could not control your emotions and somehow justified it I'm gonna let it and you hear people that the fear of disrespect that a lot of men have it's not even disrespect you hadn't even been disrespected you just scared they're gonna disrespect you so you you prop yourself up and the adrenaline on the table it's a genetically modified organism you're eating an organism you smoking an organism why do you talk about weed in church well you think I'm tell my weed in church are you serious you think I'm that stupid that I don't know that I have a lot of members who still getting high smoking weed you got to be out your mind I know I've been preaching some time I seen some of y'all coming here say I'm glad you clean the church I'm glad you came to church ah but I can smell it and this kind of we got a Scott likes me you ever smelt the Scot smell this weed there's a similarity I don't know they might have used something something something some stock stuff to mix it you might be smoking scum talk about it then you'll think you're you're fooling God nothing I'm God but you not fooling nobody is what I'm saying and so now that adds to whatever is going on in your mentality and you know it's very addictive and now and now you crazy you can't even you can't even you can't even do common sense decision-making I got five hundred dollars my rent is $400 a month so imma going by a car that cost $500 a month and then finish everything and say how I get here that's that week that's that GMO weed and you can't even do a common sense word problem and that's why you got no peace here's another stuff I never nothing another thing about it I might take this message out and at your sim you can see them coming in here they just been freaking out just laugh at all and they started getting munchies right in the middle of church start looking around how do you know I smell be kept in perfect peace how do you want to be kept in perfect peace survive since we can live in peace and then the God of love and peace will be with you alright that will keep him in perfect peace verse 15 and how shall they preach except they be sent as it is written how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the good news the good news of peace the gospel we know is the news about this unmerited favor but he says and here's there's a relationship the good news of peace and bring glad tidings of good things this is right along in Luke chapter 2 verse 14 when they said peace on earth goodwill towards men that was the gospel of peace the gospel of peace was everything that Jesus did to bring us peace from the law everything that Jesus did to separate us and to get us free from condemnation from self effort from performance based Christianity from the fear of death hell and the grave pieces on earth Jesus is that peace and while we're preaching this gospel of grace that's I meet people who say my life is I feel like I'm free I feel like I'm at peace because when you find out what Jesus has done and it doesn't require your behavior to determinate but what he has done and then he'll change your behavior then then things happen but that gospel of peace is being preached today Philippians chapter 4 6 through 9 and this is what we got to settle down and do you know I could I could preach like you know I used to preach in my baptist days and I can hoop and I can't do that now you got to learn something you got to learn something you falling asleep while I'm preaching is not enough motivation for me to start screaming in Holland and not teaching you because that's not my issue you've fallen asleep you got to learn how to get some rest on Sunday mornings got saved and healed everybody in the village and they weren't even born again I saw I know when were you gonna be back and I'm saved and got the Holy Ghost living on the inside of me what happened was I'm in peace the God of peace now starts imparting wisdom he starts showing me what to do when I didn't know what to do I all I'm saying what I'm saying yeah and a lot of things you need in your life is a wisdom issue sometimes if you just could hear the answer but what you're supposed to do what you're supposed to say that that's the breakthrough of how to get out of a whole lot of stuff a lot of times you just lack wisdom you looking for somebody to give you something or something to fall out the sky and there's wisdom right there screaming in the street God trying to show it to you God trying to show it to you but when you don't have no peace you can't hear it you can't see it you're distracted by the care you're distracted by the issue which is why he wants you to get rid of the care and cast it on him so you can stand still and know that God is God and you can hear him with clarity and you'll know what to do when you don't know what to do it's just time for a start acting like Christians is what I'm saying this stuff happens for people who live the life now for somebody who just wear the t-shirt for people that actually live the life I'm a Christian and this is what we do when we get in trouble this is what we do when we have lack this is what we do when all hell's breaking loose in our relationships this is what we do we go to the word now y'all laughing at didn't think something wrong with us but keep your eye on us and watch that word start a metamorphosis and then you look at me and wonder how can you have joy knowing what you're going through because I know Jesus and I know what His Word says and his word is giving me peace amen look what he says verse seven verse seven he says and the peace of God he says if you'll do that he says the peace of God will pass all your understanding I love that in other words he not gonna just deal with you based on what you understand he's gonna pass your understanding and give you something you don't even understand so when it all happened you goes it's I I don't know how many months paying man and the peace of God the peace of God you'll have peace and your even understand why you got peace you have been in a situation you got peace and you know why you got peace you should be crazy by nine you should have been out of your mind you should do something stupid by now and you got peace you realize that why you got peace that's the Holy Ghost that's the God of peace giving you peace when you don't understand some of you here tonight don't even understand how can I be sitting here tonight in peace missing the Bible study when I got all this stuff I'm doing right now and Here I am sitting that's that's the power of God that's God with you giving you peace that passes your understanding and those ways says he'll give you peace that a passionate understanding he said and it'll keep your heart and it'll keep your mind through Jesus Christ peace gotta keep your man every time time I pieced out to keep you that's why I said my most valuable asset is my peace if it costs me my peace it's too expensive if it cost my peace if I see something going somewhere and it's costing my peace oh I can't afford that some of you your relationship is causing your peace you can't afford that relationship that's too expensive for you some of you trying to get a house and it's costing your peace before you even move a stick of furniture in you better cancel that thing that's too expensive for you so you got the money right now but it's costing you your peace if you take care of your peace your peace will take care of you but if you keep spending your peace on other people's drama you're gonna look up one day and not have no peace and you're gonna be in the middle of the same drummer you just spent your piece on my piece is guarded I don't spend my piece on stuff my piece can't afford to buy it's a transaction I came to fool it no way my most valuable asset you are not taking my piece I go to the North Pole while I sit here and let a person take my piece you taking my piece act as crazes you want to leave whatever I are you ain't taking my piece cuz that's all I got so you gotta understand if you take my piece ain't no good ain't got nothing oh I got is my piece that God gave me and I'm like surely season you didn't give it to me you can't take it away this is Jesus piece that's all that type of Jesus piece is people can betray you and you still have peace people people can dog you out you'll still have peace you're gonna lose everything you got you'll still have peace because when you got it on the inside you can lose everything on the outside you'll get it back because there's a difference between wealthy and rich rich you can lose it and you've probably done for your life but a wealthy man will always be wealthy you can keep taking stuff away from him and he'll always be able to give something back because of what's in him not what's on the outside of him you got to be more than your car you got to be more than your house and you got to be more than your money you got to be the Jesus that's on the inside of you which is greater than all those things that are on the outside of a man church yeah my times up I got about 10 more scriptures to go over but Jesus I don't believe Hong Rick and he's gonna be here this week he might so if the Lord
