hello say kids what time is it that's right it's time to go through a box of DVDs that I haven't seen before because somehow that's a popular video format so this is the second half of the also at 7 o'clock so this is the second half of the love film discs which are DVDs it used to be sent out by a rental company called love film but they went bust they did so I've just got a box full of their old stock and we begin with bumper to bumper to bumper to burn to know what we actually remove these on the side slightly then it'll be easy for me to get them Boardwalk Empire series 2 disc 1 yes there was a lot of Boardwalk Empire in the first one but I think it's all like on one of the streaming service isn't it I'm not entirely sure but I probably won't live long enough to watch it all because good god there's at least 14 million episodes now I'm sure means from 2011 and of course every American TV series has to have at least 18 million episodes released every 14 seconds making impossible to catch up with and Oh Oh next up is something I did not know existed Dallas Season 1 hang on I can't quite make this is this like a modern version of Dallas or is that Larry Hagman there yeah it doesn't look like the old cast so that it could be Larry Hagman as jr. Ewing oh my goodness so this was huge in the 80s remember who shot junior god that was a biggest thing in the world for a couple of weeks wasn't it um well his episodes 5 to 7 this to of Dallas season 1 it's looking like some sort of reboot to me it was all about rich people in Dallas Texas and of their shenanigans and their double crossings and their face punching and all that kind of stuff I would probably rather sleep than watch this but there we are that's not something I'll be coming around - I don't think next up inside inside men what's inside men let's take this large knife and find out I don't know what this is a BBC series it's got what I can barely make this out Warren brown Stephen Macintosh and Ashley Walters in apparently I have no idea what that's about some men on the inside of something the cover makes it look like there's some sort of duplicity or naughtiness going on they're in some way policemen who knows who L could God well now I've got disc three as well all I need is disc one and we can watch the whole season assuming this three disc limit well that was fun oh look yeh disc one now we've got the whole thing to ignore else we've got Family Guy season five disc one with all your favorite jokes that have you've probably seen a hundred times and YouTube clips or whatever Family Guy it's still going in it I believe it gets cancelled like every 14 seconds but it will not die the fight oh I've not seen this Christian Bale and all God's mark walberg isn't it when I look at the bit saying starring starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale there we are there to save me some brain energy drama about boxer Irish Micky Ward's he's actually Swiss unlikely rose the world light welterweight title his rocky like rise was shepherded by half brother Dickie boxer turned trainer who rebounded in life after nearly being ko'd by drugs and crime I've heard this is quite good they won two Academy Awards mother looks it what Oscars did it get a Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress mm-hmm yeah I should go round to watch him that I imagine it's probably quite good and if you like people being punched I imagine it's quite good at that as well West is West isn't this the sequel to East is East could Cardiff forgotten this exists yeah Manchester north of England 1975 there now much diminished but still claustrophobic and dysfunctional countin family continues to struggle for survival Sajid i think that says that it's really worn off the youngest calm the runt of the litter is deep in pubescent crowd stop reading us now that's quite unpleasant I've never seen it east of East was good is this as it's probably the most hilarious comedy of 2011 year 2010 didn't have a weird thing that were all the years were wrong on the previous discs can't remember no no watch that I'm going to start putting these in piles of I will never get around to it or I probably will watch there we are let's do that and let's face it all the TV series I probably can end up in that pile dr. Seuss's thorax - don't did in awake the low rex 3d cgi reproduction of the classic tale from dr. Seuss the low racks an environmentalist tries to save the forest from a greedy clothing manufacturer something weirdly robotic about that probably the way I said it Zac Efron's doing voices as is Danny DeVito Ed Helms and Rob Riggle I don't know Rob Riggle aspire like his name um yeah this was [ __ ] from my head and I heard somebody went to see and they were not impressed by it I have not seen it so I cannot judge but it's not sort of substandard children's animation is not exactly something you ought to be spending my time particularly on really oh ParaNorman oh man this is from oh god the you know makers of Coraline I don't think of the name the studio that's gonna really annoy me that a coupon the two strings and the boxtrolls and various other things they do really nice stop-motion stuff oh ah that's gonna frustrate me I'll remember it later I might even edit the word in now there we are so yeah I've not seen this and apparently as excellent and I have a blu-ray somewhere so I'll probably watch the blu-ray of it so technically I will notice at some point in this future just not that one more TV it's the following season one disc one where Kevin Bacon is like a cult leader or something is it that one James Purefoy as well the complete first season well first three episodes anyway I'm guessing he's evil look a war I don't trust you cameraman you are less than six degrees of separation from me and this confuses me now even if the rest of their probably wouldn't extraordinary measures is that Brendan Fraser it bloody is faint and determination push idealistic father John Crowley Brendan Fraser it's joining forces with a reclusive medical researcher dr. Robert Stonehill Harrison Ford together this unlikely pair face impossible odds they battle the entire medical establishment and time itself what the [ __ ] to find a cure before it's too how do you like battle a concept one the earth also starring golden club war on terrorism and also starring Golden Globe winner Keri Russell extraordinary measures is a true story of the power of and faith against impossible odds that sounds quite uplifting and joyful I'll pretty much a horror film instead next up green out gun never got rounds a green lantern oh because I really liked the concept of Green Lantern but yeah this film not well-known for being good it's older Ryan Reynolds in the days before Deadpool great action thrills and spectacle ten out of ten said nobody near this is a family it's a bit of an embarrassment snot like absolutely dreadful but it's really not very good at all so people say but again I cannot judge for I have not seen and if I do ever get around to watching it I will probably borrow it off my friend Matthew who I think has it on blu-ray oh look it's Lee Nelson and he's not dead thank God stand-up comedy from corpses is rubbish Lee Nelson yeah and his best what's his best mates thing um but that's it so yeah it's kind of an odd thing Lee Nelson's like a medical doctor wasn't he who does this sort of strange sort of slightly childish slightly chavvy character I suppose they are used to at least he's gone a bit more serious now I believe and in fact I think the word serious is in the name his latest tour yeah I've never actually seen a stand-up DVD of Leela so maybe have a Lee Nelson show for a long time when I get around to that at some point in my life I probably will so sort of think you watch when you're feeling ill and you were supposed to be doing something else that hours upon something because I'm stand-up or something there we are I can go on that pile for that reason weirdly I can't remember if I ever actually liked is shown I remember seeing it I can't remember if I liked it or not hmm I shall stay very very neutral on the hands of a watch that in that case Freddie Mercury holding back the years all their relevance could have just had the Bohemian Rhapsody film at me old Remy Malick doing a good job Freddie Mercury died too young in 1991 to mark the 20th anniversary this documentary traces the creation of the glam rock super band Queen includes interviews and archive footage documentary tribute I know the problem or anything Queen related including Bohemian Rhapsody is Queen do tend to have the hooks still into it quite a lot and it all tends to be a little bit crossed over shall we say I'm not really that interesting rhod Gilbert live man with a flaming Battenberg tattoo I saw him live recently he was very good this is gonna go on the watched pile just because I've already seen it and I believe I think what girlfriend's actually got DVD of it anyway so there we are for rhod Gilbert is one of her favorites this was a very good show I would recommend you watch it if you have not it's about a man who gets a tattoo of a flaming you probably work that I so I ran a saw this men to be depressing as [ __ ] it starts off with a man kicking his beloved dog to death public I feel like I've talked about this before was this in the other pile as well then I can be two copies of Tyrannosaur in order to really depress me well Eddie Marsan Zinn it's directed by Paddy Considine it's Considine mmm how do you say that how do you pronounce that mmm I don't know but Livia Coleman's in it she's from Norwich we like Olivia Colman she's doing very well at the moments with the favorite and bits and bobs oh god I've just seen Nicolas Cage at the corner of my eye that's always welcome um I know I'm gonna watch this at some point I do like paddy I'm not sure how to pronounce his surname he tends to direct good films that I enjoy what I go back and watch recently dead man shoes that was a hell of a thing right season of the witch there he is hey Nick oh you're doing me oh no he's a Mick got Ron Perelman and Kristen Stewart and I'm sure it's ass as the Black Plague rages across 14th century Europe one brave knights bemmon behmen really is tasked with transporting a girl suspected of being a witch believing she is wrongly accused by one in a group of weary followers fight through a mystical and treacherous landscape to a hallowed place where her innocence can be proved in Europe's curse can be lifted how do these films get made interesting because especially that cast a very odd so I would assume from this that probably she is actually a witch but all she's really good inside really and she saves her in the end or something and everyone learns an important lesson about watching Nicolas Cage films you know the worst thing is I'm probably gonna watch it at some point in my life it's got Nicolas Cage it can't not be entertaining on some level surely surely something you can watch the water men in the road of this adrift in the Middle Atlantic when an electrical fire aboard a million-dollar yacht shorts the engine and communication equipment and group of rich young friends find ourselves marooned in the middle of a deep Atlantic that'll teach them for probably being smug because that's how they always are in these films when they drift into the realm of the mysterious water men an ancient and brutal clan of Mariners fantastic who despise Outsiders so they become locked in a deadly fight for survival trapped in the middle of the ocean the given rest of you run down remember it's like a slasher film on a boat yep sold and was up for a bit of low-budget horror I always get something out of those even if it's just my god they did that really badly I must remember not to do that myself if I make a similar film in the future Ted I have seen this film it was all right it's Seth MacFarlane and Mark Wahlberg's got a lot at Teddy or something and the Teddy's alive and it was vaguely it was alright was decent enough comedy wasn't gonna change your life probably wouldn't watch it again so it's gonna go in that pile there was a sequel can never really got the energy to go and watch that first one was all rights but didn't feel like I needed to see more The Raven oh man I meant to can see there's a cinema I didn't eight years ago a fictionalized account on the last days of Edgar Allen Poe's life which apart in a pursuit of a serial killer whose murders mirror those and the writer stories just pretty [ __ ] fictional isn't it I feel like I've talked about this one before as well alright think mmm I already have a copy before I probably will get around to that at some point something about the idea intrigues me although I hear the execution isn't amazing Sasha Baron Cohen not being Freddie Mercury The Dictator this is like one of those so off the bat back off the bat of Borak off the back of Borat where it was all very you know sort of improv situations and what setup situations and ad-libbed around this is kind of half that half scripted I believe I don't know as this there's that kind of awkward humor - it just doesn't resonate with me so I probably won't get around to that to be perfectly honest with you the amazing spider-man I saw this in the cinema and kind of wished I didn't [Music] [Applause] [Music] much better than the sequel though which I somehow went see the sequel as well I think just cuz I really like spider-man but this is not very good and the sequels [ __ ] dreadful number Fox and electron oh god that was a disappointment yeah this was a funny time but it's a very short very quick reboot really of the Tobey Maguire films with Andrew Garfield doing a good job well if you wanted a good job it's just like really long and meandering and not actually very interesting or exciting Garfield's Peter Parker isn't really existent it's really odd like Peter Parker's not very Peter Parker eenz you don't get the dichotomy between him and spider-man but spider-man is sort of realized better than he was than Tobey Maguire films so I would say better spider-man worse Peter Parker does that make any sense anyway they got Tom Holland doing it now and he's doing much better so you can go on that poll project x3 High School Studios why on earth did I say studios three high school studios yes definitely seniors throw a birthday party to make a name for themselves the night progresses things spiral out of controls word of the party spread I want to see the systemics I remember there being some I don't say controversies that implies like people who play me when I was something I don't think that was it was there was some weird sort of story about this which came out at the time that's probably get round to it to see well that's all about oh my god alien origin this smells a bit like something from the asylum the makers of incredibly boring Mach busters fast paced sci-fi movie was deemed Sonja's fan so I was caught up in a riddle so 2012 so around the time Prometheus came out which was supposed to be the origin of the alien from the Alien films yeah head you see what's happened here but it does star Philip [ __ ] so that's got to be quite good Sherlock Holmes a Game of Shadows Oh so I really like this sir first well I don't know flight so I really yeah I really enjoyed the first Sherlock Holmes film with Robert Downey jr. and old Jude Law there in it was a good laugh and somehow I never saw the sequel I feel like I've said this before as well are we getting a lot of repeats because I cannot remember we heard last time so I will definitely get round to watch this some points but probably not because that's definitely like on Netflix or something I saw it listed the other day storage 24 this is the no Clarke film isn't it yeah kiddo hoods no Clarke wrote and stars the sofa horace storage 24 accost rehovot chakra about a group of friends who find themselves trapped in london storage facility with a mysterious predator just Piers Morgan with false teeth a creature that has ominous ties the recently crashed military cargo plane again mr. Swan the cinema heard it was that great probably still growing up watching it low budget horror limited location you see that's the sort of thing maybe making it some date so mmm more you see the better I feel the Kite Runner they've got a kite they like to run there the kite runners based on the international bestseller by Keller tasini I never go around to this run a lot of awards probably very good indeed here let's face it that's gonna be seen at some point man on a Ledge I recorded this off the television on like some sort of PVR box I never actually used which then died and asked everything that's a story for you so this is kind of a heist film one of the few heist films I didn't get around to watching before writing actions and the Polybius heist hmm not too late though is it I'm sure this is on the streaming thing I think I saw the other day bugger it I shall be careful and hold on to that probably a good laugh there's always a bit of joy to be had in the heist Dexter never garden to wit and know how it ends don't really care about it imagine only a quarter of the episodes good like frequently happens and these things I don't know but Michael C Hall he's good and he was he from that I liked six feet under that was a hell of a series wasn't it oh good Downton Abbey posh people being miserable in weird lives oh no a throne on that pile Wall Street money Never oh yeah the weird massively belated sequel to Wall Street that kind of yeah well Shia LaBeouf innit I don't yeah this doesn't exactly scream out to be to be watched to be perfectly honest and I don't feel that something that I need particularly in my life after seeing the first one many moons ago Dark Horse don't throw anything about this film but I remember that poster I think all that rings I've seen something similar somewhere examining the irretrievable 'ti of youth in the hilariously dark and idiosyncratic comedy well lacerating humor unexpected tenderness blah blah blah looks like Christopher Walken the bottom round corner as well yeah that's gonna be washed at some point isn't it can't get around that The Green Hornet I never saw this sort of reboot of the Green Hornet with Seth Rogen heard it wasn't very good at all nobody seemed to like it in fact but um yeah it's the sort of thing that happened at some point isn't it well that's definitely going on the right-hand-side poem because I got a blu-ray copy of it in Poundland once it was a pound Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides which is now the name of the book that is loosely based on and sort of Monkey Island was baby loosely based on as well I don't know this can [ __ ] off a frankly ahem I never saw these first two parts of Caribbean films really like the first one second one bored my [ __ ] legs off and apparently they got worse and then there's like a slight blip in quality and then they dropped again or something I don't know that this is like the fourth the fifth one the 912 One Nights I don't give a toss any more see this is what happens when you have a really good supporting character like Jack Sparrow then make everything about the supporting character it turns out they don't work as the main character oh look it's Hansel and Gretel witch hunters I saw this at the cinema it wasn't very good the only thing I remember laughing at its how bizarrely they attempt to deal with Hansel's diabetes which he's apparently Goffman his way out of a bloody gingerbread house or it was even fattened up to me I can't even remember 15 years after their traumatic gingerbread house incident the only thing I remember actually liking in it was they had quite a lot of practical effects and puppets and things yeah certainly let me see that again Peter Kay live back in nights now sign up says is available now sign up says is available yeah i world record-breaking comedy great no never a massive fan of Peter gay I feel like I've seen enough Peter gay in my life I should be putting that over there so what I'd like to see sequel to Phoenix Nights the sitcom he wrote with Dave smokey and the guy whose name I can't remember that's gonna drive me mad as well yeah that was a fantastic series but they will fill out because I think it was always marked as being Peter Kay's Phoenix nights when actually was the work of three people and they got a bit pissed off with that is my understanding allegedly and all that kind of stuff next up on the mrs. Brown's boys where Brendan O'Carroll puts on a week and capers about I this is one of those things that people are very snobby about whereas other people kind of love it it did nothing for me whatsoever but it just wasn't my kind of - oh don't you just hate it when they put too rude for TV I mean too [ __ ] low-quality the TV as well you mean you're fooling nobody but yeah this did I watched like an episode did nothing for me whatsoever but if it's your kind of thing you could have gone to see it on tour and then you'd have seen it oh look it's sir creepy creepy Ricky Gervais and the seemly very nice Stephen Merchant and a very very weird karl Pilkington um all your favorites together there crikey um yeah it's thing about cult films and goes abroad and he acts weird and you start to wonder if there's something horribly wrong then I don't know let's get rid of that and there's another one there's the one with good old Warwick in iaeger Warwick yeah he just for some reason Borak went along with Billington don't quite get it watched a bit of the show and Pilton did something with Warwick that I'm not going to talk about because I Karam the exact details but it creeped me the [ __ ] out I mean it was really [ __ ] weird and that was enough of that frankly space above and beyond holy [ __ ] on a stick that was a thing that existed wasn't it never saw a single second of it I think running time 946 minutes per episode so it's from 2005 or Thor's older than that please just disc one featuring the pile episode there's a bit of a sort of mid budgets TV sci-fi I believe Tom know if it's any good or not never seen it and never spoke to anybody who has I don't think I remember it being a thing yeah I mean Tony forgot about that too I saw that next up its Lords that's in France Jessica housed a third feature tells the story of pilgrimage to Lourdes among the pilgrims are sufferers of various illnesses as well as others in good health then to take the journey and hope of finding spiritual comfort all bodily cure Sylvie testitude takes the essential role of Christine and multiple sclerosis suffer and religious skeptic who travels more for companionship than in hope of a miracle but as the trip develops her lack of faith is tested with the hope of a new life with rounder affectation chosen on Raja ridges officials and and this was far too long as a sign ops Assante official I was usually interesting yeah yeah that's gonna happen at some points I've been reading from that I think when those things I'm gonna get to the end of a think didn't enjoy that but hey I don't actually know because I haven't seen it yet and rated you as well this is rated X for x-men the milk of sorrow so if it's rated X that would be a documentary following Peru's war on terrorism Faust as relatives believe she suffers from the milk of sorrow a condition note this does not sound like a hero documentary at all and condition transmitted by a mother who is violated and mistreated during the country Oh God this sound says miserable as heck doesn't it um but also called yeah yeah yeah definitely oh now Widow yeah the pirates in an adventure with scientists called something different in America because they didn't think Americans would buy a film of the word scientist in the title hmm fantastic children's from this absolutely brilliant I have the blu-ray that I go in Poundland but if you have not seen it please do it very very good again I feel like I've spoken about this one before as my I suppose it's gonna be a bit of duplication isn't there over that I've just got deja [ __ ] you know well Fred from the sublime to the ridiculous it's the appalling top cat the movie I've only seen a few bits of this because somebody said you won't believe how bad it was I did believe how bad it was my belief in how bad it was continues to this day and I shall now pass it on to you it's bloody awful yes like some obviously attempts to make a modern film that top cat with old ladder bull and all your favorites and all the Phil Silvers impersonating but basically the bilko show cats as there was the thing what's called the bilko show it's called the Phil Silvers show wasn't it to put sergeant bilko was the character of man that's confusing so no this was really bad like made for a budget 47 pence buy like a Brazilian studio or something and it was not good at all and you know what I'm actually gonna keep a copy just so I can show people if it comes up in conversation but you don't get to sit with the others because you won't really be watched madagascar 3 europe's most wanted you know it's actually most wanted in europe british children pronouncing it Madagascar instead of Madagascar which is what happened when this film came in then had 40 sequels Ben Stiller's in it Chris Rock Jada pinkett-smith Sacha Baron Cohen imagine the session behind Karen I can't give any other sashes I can't you remember I've seen the first one I think I didn't it did nothing for me so I'm saying I'm watching the third one am i more South Park yeah it's definitely South Park isn't it yep company central miscellaneous unmarked South Park disc whoo spooky don't really care and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 I remember seeing the first one isn't quite enjoyed it's quite nice circuits animation that's a doctor maniac scientist type who makes the weather produce giant foods and things like that from the look of this one you've got a strawberry with eyes and like a banana that's also a dolphin so now the food is like half animal or something that's pretty strange that's how it quickly I'm impressed with everyone's going trait that I'm just a human Brett no synopsis is too long got truncated pointless yeah I can't cross that at some point although imagine it's something on the streaming services well there we are that is another exciting box of films we were not expecting because I had looked in the box before but I said I wasn't expecting only Boardwalk Empire was on the top because it was on the top and that's the end of all the jolly love film overflow ah but the important thing is we've got an awful lot of these very useful discs mailing things that I can use when sending things out in the future [Music]
