Makeup Using ONLY My Opposite Hand Challenge! *disaster*

hi sisters james charles here and welcome back to my youtube channel if you guys have been around since the beginning of my makeup journey and you're still here today first of all thank you second of all that means you've been here for over five years now which is so beyond insane to think about it's not even funny i feel like i just started yesterday but it's been five really long years of practicing makeup looks and filming youtube videos for you guys and trying to be the best artist that i can be but of course i'm always looking for new products tips techniques and most importantly makeup challenges to push myself and my skills further to really see what i can do as a makeup artist i really feel like at this point after doing so many different makeup challenges i could pretty much do my entire routine with one hand behind my back oh my god and to make this even harder for myself i'm going to use my left hand which is my of course non-dominant hand i use my right hand every single day for makeup for writing for pretty much everything i mean she's definitely a gorgeous little muscle right here whereas this one is just oh what's the reason for that i think we all know the reason for that was mama i'm gonna do my full face of makeup using my left hand i can't do makeup with one hand behind my back no i just realized that like if i'm if i'm using my left hand like you need the other hand like squeeze the foundation okay well should we go ahead and get started lewis what do you got there what do you think you're doing with that no for what i kind of said which one's that the more muscular one behind your back can't be serious behind your back sir oh my god you can't be serious that's a good arm stretch too okay we're ready to get started see this is what i'm talking about i have to use my primer already for step number one and what am i gonna like how am i supposed to put this on my face [Music] with a lot of different makeup challenges i go into it being like oh my god it's gonna be so hard i feel like this one genuinely is is going to be a problem i truly i use my left hand for nothing like nothing it feels limp sometimes okay i'm gonna use a little bit of color corrector that's just access on the brush oh my god oh my god this is ridiculous so need some powder do lots of things okay so now it's oh my god i have to squeeze my foundation right onto my face that is so gross i mean a lot of people do this but i just can't get behind her oh my god it's dripping all over my face okay i've got a beauty blender right here oh my god this is this feels so weird how are some people ambidextrous are you born ambidextrous or do you learn it my left arm is actually getting tired already oh my oh my hair is getting an eye i don't want to film this anymore 12 seconds later and i think i got it on there looks a little patchy huh not it's not like oh it could be worse i think it's really what word so i'm going to use my fenty beauty contour stick now this is in the shade mocha i'm just going to [Music] no it's like a toddler right now like oh my gosh oh my god i'm actually really over this like i am not feeling this at all i don't know i have like one what are you doing nothing did you just release your arm i did it it's definitely still stuck go investigate it's still there it's still there cut that finger away don't make me re-wrap rock his face oh get some in the freaking top why don't you want to do it for me [Music] a little heavy there i don't want to film this anymore he thinks he thinks it's a choice he's not home we'll tie the other hand we don't care oh peter good your right hand looks like a turkey claw [Music] at least you can still sing am i right oh god please let me hear it forgot my driver's license at home then i got pulled over by the cop cause i was speeding i'm gonna grab my setting spray now just to give myself a little spritz okay so i can do i'm getting i am not doing well this is his arms let's take a break you take the broken one i'll take this one i'll just massage the chicken claw look at these little talons oh mediocre i forgot i just always forgot to put on concealer oh or the powder and you already said it i didn't forget it angel the video's over how do i forget concealer i'm literally it's time one arm behind your back makeup challenge not leave one part of your brain somewhere else i think one part of your brain just left while you were saying that sentence tower i feel like i'm going at the a snail pace [Music] this is literally a joke why am i holding a brush like this i'm trying to bake this in place i can't believe i forgot to put on concealer like how did i do that let's see how many words catch you stupid okay i'm gonna put on some blush now that's a good idea yeah i was gonna watch this video and be like what happened to james i'm putting my urine frame sorry about it what's this method what's happening here i'm trying to wipe the stupid powder off my face oh oh it's great i'm gonna try to draw these lines as normal as usual if my right arm ever got caught off i'd be screwed like what even or hello she's like a really arch she's like one of those cartoon characters that's like the biggest problem is how to hold the actual brush like what am i doing i like this technique oh that's an angry stare pudgy can you get it out loud oh my gosh i tell the earring story yeah you don't know why i don't have earrings in right now oh my god so i had to go to the doctors a few days ago for um a ct scan of my brain [Music] and when you do that you have to take your jewelry off or else they can't like scan you and i was having trouble getting my little new key earring out which is on like a little huggy right the little hoop that it's on i know i already knew is um too small for my ear but i've just been rocking it and i was trying to pull the huggy leg off my ear i accidentally rotated the little hoop uh into my ear so like the thick bar was through my ear hole it was and the doctor walked in like oh my god what did you do and like the entire team here was like please help me then like use pliers and then get the earring out like pull it out of my ear i was yelling it was so painful so the doctor gave me some nice uh ointment and said please do not put anything in your ear for the next few days so that's why i'm not wearing any earrings right now oh [Music] [Applause] maybe we should sing the song together [Music] hey okay so there's some nice maroon bright red a little bit of orange yellow and then a pop of blue which i think is really nice give us a red white and blue look you know why this land is your land from california to the new york highlands i used some nice maroon shadow which is the color boutique in my palette and really blended it on there and now i'm just gonna grab a bright red shadow which is called you're kidding also for my palette and i'm going to blend it a little bit more 12 seconds later oh beautiful for space [Music] see [Music] i literally said i want to do a pop of blue in my lower lash line i just put red down there [Music] he just cheated he just sprayed this with his right hand he took this bottle put it on the chair and then he grabbed his right hand we sprayed the freaking brush with it now you have to open your eyes and i have to fan in it for 30 seconds do not play no blinking [Music] get the fingers get the fingers in the game we're playing here i think it's just some fun youtube videos [Music] i want to be in the frame someone said vertical stripes were slimming i disagree [Music] oh my god not making a beautiful cut crease using just my finger oh my god the talent jumped out i forgot it's a talent jump are you kidding me that's gorgeous disgusting i thought the challenge was just to use your non-dominant hand not to only use one hand that's what i said too okay you guys so that is what i finally all complete i will say it does look like not that bad however that took me like literally an hour for an eye look that would normally take me 10 minutes maximum uh hopefully i don't cry this makeup look off and then i'll be right back with you guys uh still with only one hand the other one's locked behind my back all right you guys you're finally back with both eyes done yeah another hour later and i'm still oh oh my god oops i didn't mean to do that i didn't hate to do but now it is time to finish up this challenge because i am miserable so we only have a few steps left thank god i'm just going to go ahead and give my face a quick spritz of some setting spray this i can easily do i'm just going to grab a highlighter a brush and grab a little bit of face for my palette because it's literally the only thing that i have open and i'm just going to put on some highlighter oh there we go oh my god that was perfect famous all right you guys and last but not least i'm going to finish off this look using the ofra liquid lipstick in the shade of venice it's a really bright like ready orange color which i thought would pair really cutely with this whole little shirt design that we have going on this red lip was a mistake like ronald mcdonald vibes i mean if i add a little bit of like orange paint to it you know life is all about making choices and not all the choices we make in our lives are going to be good ones uh i think this was one of those choices that we could have done without i don't know why i'm going to lock this in place because this needs to be wiped off so badly i think that is this makeup look with only one hand all complete which means it is finally time oh my god i can't even get it off oh get it done one there you go oh i should keep your hand like that please be careful [Music] all right well that was definitely the worst makeup challenge i filmed in a very very long time uh this was a waste of time uh took too long and still turned out really really awful so if you made it all the way through
