now here's the number one box office guy in the country right now first time on this show you understand Gelman got him first before anybody got him he beat Rocky this weekend he's the hottest guy in show business and let's take a look at a clip from home alone and show you Macaulay Culkin oh that was a joke Pesci one of the gangsters trying to break into this kid's house and this is the sleep a movie of the year and here he is Macaulay Culkin nice to meet you I mean this is hit pal you are a bona fide star as a right now the number one box office movie of the weekend nice to have you on the show okay you're noting him from Uncle Buck Lee Uncle Buck I never saw the movie all these dynamite a match so how you doing good you're happy about this success yeah yeah yeah it's all in a day's work is it they tell me that you try to gain a little weight huh yeah what do you talk that you look real good I'm very skinny I weigh about 62 pounds like when kids my class worried about 97 so they outlive me by about like 30 pounds take you to write doing bulk you up you me and Cindy together before you're from New York City yes how do they find you for all of these are nice I have an agent tell her since you were a little baby ro2 jo6 since you were six did you want to go into the business or did your mom and dad think it would be a good thing for you two how'd it happen uh well just kind of popped up like my friend well she was the stage manager so like um at a Broadway show though right doctor by Broadway yeah and um um well they needed a six-year-old kid while six then so um I went over auditioned and got that play so um people saw me like like directors and stuff like that saw me so I auditioned and I got lets movies and stuff like unbelievable who's your agent cuz we could use him I'll tell you that right would you come from what seven kids Mack yeah the UM third oldest anybody else in show business in your in your family well my younger brother he put fuller in the movie oh and my older brother Shane he played it while he was in a Broadway show and you live right here in New York City yes that's how old are you ten ten years old you go to school yes and what are your favorite subjects math science and Jim hell kidding you know what it says on our cards Jim and lunch you cleaned it up for the show real clean right tell me about this movie it's a wonderful concept here's this little guy left home alone yeah yet he's so self-sufficient that he thwarts everybody from getting into the house and handles himself beautifully right Joe Pesci is a friend of mine and that must've been a lot of fun I can't wait to see this movie to see you and him go at it you you take good care of him yeah yeah real good kid good care so we take a look at another clip from home alone now you're setting up some booby traps and you got a snake a couple of burglars right yeah all right fine let's take a look at Macaulay Culkin home alone I think it must be every child's fancy food to get back at the whole adult world you know when I was a kid I used to have things on a string all around the house you know wrap around the corner just like that lot not paint cans like you just little bags and stuff so what's your next project I'm working on only the lonely only the lonely sounds like a big movie well I don't know yeah there's no started yet I started like lunching oh oh they're telling me that's with John Candy again yep and you got to go to Chicago and do that here's Uncle Buck you drove him crazy and Uncle Buck it's wonderful well alright we want to wish you the very best but calling for coming in at good lucky collie pulpit the biggest the giant be cropping up actin up
