your blood will serve as Penance for your sins ladies gentlemen and dark Crusaders of all ages I've seen some very varied opinions on the difficulty of Lords of the fallen so far personally I found the bosses tend to be a bit easier than most souls-like games at least in the early stages of the game but the level progression is absolutely brutal super long runs between vestages incredible enemy density to the point of being surrounded frequently it can definitely have its tough points for sure and so I'm here to share with you something absolutely incredible when it comes to taking down your enemies and Lords of the Fallen a build that feels exhilarating as you whip a gigantic sword through the toughest of foes making them fall apart on hit most often in one hit the idea of this today is that it's an incredibly early game build that you can use from the start of the game as a sort of starter version of it and then explode out into the proper version once you've reached about three or four bosses into the game and collected some Vigor to up your levels all of this is based around the the bloody Glory sword which you may have heard of up to this point this Grand sword requires 32 Radiance and 20 strength to even wield and it has pretty decent scaling with Radiance and just all right secondary strength scaling but the big thing with this weapon is that its base weapon damage for both physical and holy are incredibly high but then on top of that it has a whopping 300 bleed status buildup and the highest other weapon that I've seen in the early game is 80 bleed so that should tell you something about this for sure and it definitely does work in combat I mean let's show that blindingly quick boss kill again which I'll be doing a couple of times because it's just the most spoiler-free thing that I did have around that actually presented a theoretical challenge at the very least but it took only a couple of light attacks to get that bleed proc you see the giant damage Spike there from a second light attack that's a lot more than a light attack normally does and the Damage even outside of that is exceptional because we are digging into what the weapon is good at by also adding in even more holy damage which of course makes you look like the embodiment of the term dark Crusader a giant holy glowing sword wrapped in barbed wire it's a glorious aesthetic and a prettyy strong build concept to with all that said let's dive into what is in the build itself and where you can pick it up as well as well as our sort of progression path from the start of the game to best prepare for this we'll talk about the stats that you need to really start popping off with this as well and then any tips that I have from my time playing with it starting off then you want to use the oran preacher starter class not only does this give you some decent Radiance but strength is the third highest stat on it as well and we need that anyways as well the hammer that you start with is a similar concept to the Grand sword that we end on so it fits the theme the whole way the stats you are aiming for to make this all work well are quite simply 17 strength and 32 Radiance this is what will let you actually wield our weapon of choice my stats are a bit off because I didn't use a starting class but using the Orion preacher lets you hit the stat breakpoint a number of levels before I am here past that you of course want to dump levels into Vitality for more Health get some extra stamina and carry weight if you feel the need or if you want to swap weapons earlier on you can stick a few points into agility bring it up to 12 knowing that you can reset your levels later on in the game and then put those points where they should be later if you do so that weapon is hallowed praise this short sword is acquirable early on in two pilgrims perch as a level and is basically just a small agility focused version of the big sword that we transition to later on you can check this out if you want to but realistically it is only available around 20 to 30 minutes of progress before the Big Boy sword at most this is found simply along the main path of the game once you reach the pilgrims perch level area watch out for this parkour bit with two suspended wooden platforms you have to jump from one to the other and then once more back to the stable wood area and on that stable area is this sword baiting on the ground to be picked up next up we should talk about the mine owner's ring just because it is found really really early on into the game from the vestage of Marco the X which is quite early if you take the progression route forward up the hill there is a body hanging up above a building to your right that has an item on it hit it with anything ranged and it will drop this ring for you what this actually does then is increase your maximum stamina which is fantastic for us while wielding a weapon that's large of course and it also increases your stamina regeneration speed as well which makes it even better once you get to skyrest bridge the actual hub for the game really if you talk to your main preacher friend exactor dunmire he will sell you some goodies including a new holy spell radiant weapon you can use this to apply bonus holy damage to your weapon and it's worth noting that this does stack on top of a weapon having base holy damage too which makes it quite effective in almost all weapon swinging situations for a Radiance user if you are making this build from a different starting class you probably also want to pick up the radiant flare spell and the Catalyst if you don't have one already radiant flare is just your basic ranged holy spell great for situational use but this build is definitely more about getting right up in the face of the enemy as much as possible on which note if you go over and talk to mohu in the umbrell realm also in the hub area of course once you have unlocked the ability to get boss equipment you can trade with him using P's remembrance to get her holy duplicate spell blessed Reflections which is very potent for sure and quite fitting to the theme of our build after this you progress to pilgrims perch as a level and right around the area that you find the hallowed praise sword that I talked about earlier are the spiked bucket head enemies that charge at you well you may not expect this but they actually have a random drop chance for a radiant Catalyst and that catalyst is actually better than the orian preacher starting one so you can Farm one of those off of the bucket head enemies if you really want to M Maxis early on then we have the fun part which is this couple pieces of equipment in an area that you don't really want to fight stuff in back in the main Hub in skyrest Bridge you can talk to Captain storman to access his shop and purchase the Pilgrim's perch key for 9500 Vigor yeah it's a lot but the goal here is absolutely worth it as you've seen me cutting through enemies like butter from the vestage of blind Agatha in perch beside you there will be a locked door that is unlocked by the key that you bought this is a higher level area with enemies that are much stronger than you when you first get there so you sort of just want to run through to get what we want for now follow my path and then there's a little ornate looking caged area and if you drop down into here you can pick up the Braun ring and I'd recommend probably running away from the enemy that's in the room this ring increases your strength by three which we can essentially use to just let us put the build together three levels earlier than we could do otherwise which is quite the effective use of a ring for sure after that continue along the pathway until you are outside then you'll loop back inside once more into a room with a flower bed and a ladder I recommend putting down a vested seed here if you have one to spare otherwise head up the ladder and through the tunnel ahead you will see a lower area on the left which contains an optional boss but if you hug the wall on the right and head up a couple more staircases and tunnels you'll reach the top where you can find the bloody Glory sword sitting in a corner I talked about this weapon earlier the base stats are incredible 300 bleed is absolutely nasty and when you stick the holy damage weapon buff on top of that it just hits like an absolute truck it it's just awesome and of course this weapon is the thing that ties this whole Build Together our final piece of equipment then is the Warriors claw pendant this boosts both physical damage and physical defense so it's really the best of both physical Worlds the main reason that we use this is because we are of course using both of its effects but mostly because while our weapon does do physical damage we don't contribute much extra from the strength scaling because it's bad and we don't have a whole lot of strength and that means if we ever come across a wholly resistant boss we could be in a bit of trouble especially if they also have happen to be resistant to bleed at the same time which makes physical damage scaling quite strong to cover our one major weakness while also just providing more damage in lessy scenarios because it of course just adds damage to the swing of your sword to get this one for yourself eventually progressing through Pilgrim's perch you will find the elevator that works as the shortcut up to the vestage of blind Agatha once again from that vestage head down that elevator and at the bottom of it there is a cage with a person in it that you probably should talk to but left of that cage is a door that you can open with that same Pilgrim's Purge key from earlier on and then in this room heavily guarded by enemies you can find the pendant that you seek aside from this you want to wear the heaviest armor that you can find that keeps you under the threshold of heavy rolling because no one wants to be heavy rolling there are of course further ways to upgrade this build concept later on in the game better catalysts things like that but this covers the basics of the game the very early sections to get you up and running as early as possible with something that feels genuinely incredible to just slice through the game with I'm hoping to find some challenge with this later in the game but as of this moment this build is sort of just turned on easy mode as far as how to use this build optimally simply try to to keep your weapon buff on as much as possible it seems to last quite a while and the Mana cost of it isn't crazy so this should be very achievable use blessed Reflections as a safe damage tool against difficult enemies when they're close up use your ranged basic holy spell if there is a ranged enemy giving you issues but otherwise it's just smack your enemies down with the big sword personally I prefer the move set of the weapon when wielded one-handed but the damage gets quite a bit higher if you two-hand it so I generally do stick to that and the move set is still pretty good in that stance regardless light attacks will build bleed status much faster than heavy attacks but heavy attacks will build stagger much faster than light attacks so decide what you are aiming for as a goal and just smack the hell of your opponent in whichever way matches that if that sounds fun to you if this is the type of thing that you are after and this aesthetic is appealing to you because let's be honest it looks freaking awesome then maybe you should consider trying this build out for yourself like if you like the video subscribe to the notification Bell for more and most importantly ladies and gentlemen until next time stay sweet Josh cotton and follow
