living in a luxury hotel train *caledonian sleeper* for 24 hours | clickfortaz

i'm just gonna stay quiet toilet [Music] i have this series on my channel that i used to do back when we could travel i would try and live in different cool places so like i did the motorhome the tiny house i did the capsule hotel does anyone remember that that was a lot of experience i'll leave all the links to those videos if i can remember in the description definitely check them out but very exciting times because i was doing a bit of googling and i think i found my next adventure i came across luxury hotel trains and the train journey takes you from one country to another so it's like a whole hotel travel experience and it's in the uk i didn't even know the uk did stuff like that the uk one is called caledonian sleeper which allows you to travel from london to scotland i had booked a trip to edinburgh there are four types of rooms to choose from caledonian double is the most luxury option but sadly it was sold out so i went for the next best thing which was the club room which was 255 pounds one way caledonian sleeper describes a club room as a hotel experience it comes with breakfast ensuite toilet and shower room service this is unheard of when you think of the typical british train experience listen i've been cooped up in this flat for way too long so yes this very much excites me and soon as i found out this was a thing i was like i need to get on this train i really want to know if this is worth it let's see what a luxury hotel train is like let's go that's us platform 15 to edinburgh baby this is a caledonian sleeper i think we're going to be in one of these cabins we just got to our cabin area and look how tiny it's the space of my luggage i actually can't look back at this point wow look how small the rooms are this kind of gives me dystopian vibes like we're in a prison we're in yeah oh my god it's timing it's so surprising you know what this reminds me of like an airplane toilet i i don't think there's enough room to put this in bro i'm not even kidding look how small it is whoa this is all of it stop this is all of it whoa this is all of it this is what 255 pound gets you sephie is six foot yeah i'm like just under six foot oh my god sharing is gonna be one experience i'll be honest i wasn't expecting it to be this one step one is getting the luggage inside oh that is like tetris how noble is actually not gonna go in we can't move it oh my god we actually can't put the suit maybe in the bathroom on sweet light oh what is this what is this [Music] oh it's actually bigger than that wait the toilet look it says raise bench for toilet this is some like futuristic dystopian level stuff this is such a weird experience that's a shower no no we shower close in the door oh my god this is too scary i don't wanna oh so he's very compact i must say yeah it's very compact if you need a number two though you're kind of screwed okay in rule number one we are not doing number twos ah this is gonna be so much better you know what personal space we don't know her we're really gonna bond on this trip oh we are really gonna bond sepia take edinburgh caledonian sleeper star baby the same height i basically have to be on a ladder all the time just so i can see yeah be on the same height this is how you make eye contact i've actually never made eye contact with stephie ever that's so true i just look up give me a whiplash this is going to be a very interesting seven hours okay i have come to the top this is actually sepi's bunk and um as you can see i don't know how safy does it i guess she just doesn't sit up when she's at the top it's actually quite nice being at the top it's kind of roomy you know when you're lying down it's great the train is moving so there's a lot of motion but it's actually quite calming and soothing going down looks kind of freaky this is sepi's view it looks a lot bigger on this wide angle i'm not gonna lie this is the ultimate test i really hope you can i think i will okay so let's see let's put my foot is on the wall just above i fit [Music] and then you lock it i guess if you hold it here i don't really get how the shower situation works someone's coming i think someone's coming i'm just going to stay quiet in the toilet okay sorry no worries what just happened i thought i was like so people can just come in okay number one rule of this place we lock a cabin there's the shower cap i'm currently sitting on the bench so like the lining is really off like i feel like i have to sit on the bench to have a shower i really don't know how the shower situation is gonna work i feel like it should have been here where i put the camera because there's lots of space but it's not it's like right above the toilet so i'm not sure what's going on there i don't know how the shower situation is gonna work i guess we will find out here we have this mysterious bag so in here we have toilet paper always handy and we got towels that's good and that's basically a tall denim very humble it's humble it's cute kind of very claustrophobic kind of gives me prison cell vibes but other than that cute cute when you're in a little sardine container like this you gotta make the most of every little space i need to now wash my face which i'm gonna use the simple and all my stuff is in here so lord knows how i'm gonna get it out oh my god sepi's peeing and the train is shaking that's my fear anyway i have to quickly open this before she comes out of the loop there's not even enough room to open the suitcase oh my god i feel like there's a toilet it feels like a plain toilet it freaks me out the flush is so like how would you rate that toilet experience i'm scared i think like three oh no i don't like the loud sounds like the loud sounds of the flossies just reminds me of airplanes and that's one thing i did not miss about flying i mean if you're scared i'm screwed [Music] the train is moving a lot right now but i'm gonna try and wash my face why does she turn into a 2013 beauty youtuber every time she films herself doing her skincare routine she's not even good at it it just doesn't work [Music] now to get into the bed i'm not the bottom bunk they've actually given a bunch of stuff they've given earplugs and eye masks sappy do you snore luckily no because they've given us earplugs i just realized something see the sink here there's a desk under it wow wow you know i do like how compact everything is so they give this little bag i set up my overnight bag they do actually look really cute this my friends is a pillow spray lord knows where a pillow spray is i've never come across a pill spray before oh it smells nice but i feel like this would be too strong of a scent that i wouldn't be able to go to sleep um around that kind of smell and embody wash conditioning shampoo two-in-one baby how this tile oh that's a strong strong manly scent that one oh this is nice i'm gonna keep this i'm gonna take it home with me a little souvenir oh i don't know about this one the body wash is quite strong i wonder what this is oh this is a room key we're just just double checking if after the hassle i had today with my keys we're going to make sure this works oh my god there's like no room out here hello should i do it without the key now zebra wigs yeah go on oh it's still open how does that work bro it's just open what the heck uh how do we know how to lock the door she did that and then she yeah so that has now blocked it so here we have the infamous caledonian sleeper home of the transport from london to scotland and it is tiny you can do all your stretching things but we are on the hunt for the infamous shoe cleaner or shoe bush oh i'm so sorry what's this first oh i don't know what that is is this push to open do you want to do it i'm skinny [Music] the room was small but after settling in and some adjusting we figured out how to make it work and it was actually fine it's snack time look how much stuff we got so this is little moons this was like a huge trend a few months ago this is a raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake mochi and it's soft and smooshy and it's really cute oh you're one hassle that's what i was saying it's more soft and textured please oh this is a weird texture it's like yoghurt inside it's very yogurty i think the texture is cooler than the taste i don't want to say the first thing i'm thinking why they're gonna vomit oh i like the texture no no i don't like it when things are super like like like baby food sloth the outside of it how would you describe me as a travel buddy based on the whole of today okay and it's been a long day and today was one of the hottest days of the year but now it's tipping down with rain outside and it's currently like one in the morning yeah and waiting my armpits have been through all the different weather today i'm just cueing my break down any second now you know what's gonna happen next the shower you know was so sad i was so looking forward to the shower experience and now i don't want to do it imagine we're in the shower naked and afraid oh no i'm going to drink something oh the body parts but this is like crazy small but like you said company yeah i feel like the company it does help get a good travel buddy and you're sorted who's gonna go for the shower face oh my god it's so scary i don't wanna do it so scary now i have the fun task of figuring out how to use this shower situation i am not looking forward to this oh i'm so scared why am i so scared i think i'm just gonna hold it because um there's not a lot of space i just got out i didn't wash my hair stephie's in it now bless her she's so tall and the shower situation is just not very accommodating that was one of the most difficult shower experiences ever there's just not any space and it's just so awkward so lord knows how she's doing in there yeah i don't know how people are shouting in there to be honest with you it was a real struggle i'm not gonna lie and the water is like i think she's struggling oh bless i feel kind of bad but i think she's just reached the part where she's yeah basically the water isn't exactly i don't know i wouldn't even call it warm i think it's just below warm it's not freezing i think she's struggling with it but but it's not so bad okay i think she's struggling with more with it than i am i honestly couldn't figure out how to work the temperature thing also it was one of those push buttons so like you push it and it lasts for like 10 seconds and then the water goes and you gotta do it again [Music] this is actually surprisingly really really cozy and we love [Music] i had a lovely seat for the whole two hours we're gonna get breakfast now oh yeah i love how we get so excited like holy cousy as if we didn't pay 250 feet i got the granola and yogurt breakfast oranges the sleep was for me personally i thought the bed is a really comfy bed i don't know what they've done here or whatever they've done they've done it right one of the worst things about traveling usually is getting to and from the destinations um and so you end up arriving at the location feeling so tired and groggy because you haven't really rested even though i've got like two three hours of sleep i do feel rested and i feel like those three hours are so important now when we arrive i mean i might be tired throughout the day but i do feel like you know what i'm actually ready to go on with the day and because it's overnight it means i haven't wasted any hours like i got on this train at midnight i arrive in edinburgh at seven and we're just gonna like get out get off this train and get on with the day and like explore i'm so dumb i thought we were gonna wake up to views like this like the mountain and stuff but instead we got this we have just arrived and this is the state of the arena literally not even five minutes to like brush my teeth get ready [Applause] oh people are going to watch me brush my teeth we love that okay so i have locked myself out i meant to go to edinburgh tonight it's fine [Music] i'm in edinburgh and it's raining oh oh it's actually locked my weak punio okay five quid what a bargain i feel like um you know when you shrek when they go too far far away this is a battered mars for our people this is like a big deal here [Music] i accidentally pressed the host call ah that was by accident you okay yeah it was by accident i actually pressed the button sorry okay okay just thank you thanks on the journey back i just went straight to sleep and we just like slept the whole
