Was this a rebuilt bike? - Yeah. - Because I don't see any VIN numbers on it, man. - I mean, I don't know for sure. But some of them are behind the handlebar. - Yeah, I know. That's what I'm looking for. And it looks like this one's been scraped over right here. - It's a Chinese bike. It's called a Zongshen. - Zongshen? - Zongshen. That's the name of it. - Did you not check for a VIN or anything when you bought it to make sure you're not buying a stolen bike? - So I don't want to spend a lot of money, because dirt bikes are expensive. Now that I think about it, he did sell it for cheap. But I was just seeing a good deal on a Facebook market. - That was your first question right there. What did you just say? - He sold it for cheap. - You saw a good deal on Facebook, right? - Yeah. - If there's not a VIN, in my experience, most likely, the motorcycle could be stolen. I'll give you the option. Good news or bad news? - Let's go with the bad news. - Bad news-- motorcycle's being towed. - That is extremely bad. - Good news-- you're not going to jail for driving under suspension. - Well, you have the phone number of that guy, right? That text message? - Yeah. - I would get a hold of him. Say, hey, man, my bike got towed. I need the title. And if this is a legitimate deal and a legitimate transaction, he should have a title. All right, I'm going to go back here to my car. So I need you to take off that way, partner. Be careful. Don't get ate by that poodle or something. So what'll happen, the bike will be towed. The rider back there will have to contact his mysterious buyer or seller on his text and see if they have a title for this motorcycle for him to be able to prove that this is his bike. And then he'll be able to get it out of the impound. Moral of the story is, if the deal's too good to be true, it probably is.
