lanterns it's a tradition what's a tradition it's a special thing you do every year on the same day every year on the winter solstice when fall becomes winter when the sun sets early and the moon falls asleep we hang lanterns so the snow angels can find their way on the longest night of the year this snow angels the snow angels of winter [Music] the night is always new grandmother loves winter and I do too the night is cold the snow is new grandfather loves winter and I do too it's beautiful grandfather bear are the snow angels going to come now oh they'll be around shortly well now can we worried about the snowstorm it was no problem hi granny welcome we had to get you warmed up it's turning into a real blizzard out there [Music] let's get you some hot sassafras tea and a little honey that should take the chill out of your bones yes tutu [Music] why thank you sassafras tea thank you Emily [Music] here's to Old Friends new friends the best of friends and our first blizzard together and our first blizzard together [Music] I feel warmer already I think I'll just stand here by the fire until I'm toasted well make sure you keep turning around so you toast all your sides evenly ah you're right ah thank you [Music] thank you Emily you're welcome granny now I'm going to need an assistant to help out with dessert who knows anything about dessert I do I know how to eat dessert perfect will you be my assistant Little Bear sure what do I have to do okay now we take a bowl an ordinary empty bowl fill it full of snow add a few Magic ingredients a little cream and some honey and repeat after me whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot we'll weather the weather whatever the weather whether we like it or not letting the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot we'll weather the weather whatever the weather whether we like it or not it's just like ice cream it's snow cream um blizzard flavor mmm that is good delicious [Music] well thank you for a wonderful dinner granny I wish we didn't have to leave looks like your wishes come true little bear what do you mean we're snowbound hooray we're Snowman bound mean it means we can't get out my wish came true [Music] hey we're all staying the night I'll make you a nice bed by the fire what about pajamas I already thought of that there warm and cozy little bear how do we look oh my where did you get those clothes granny I once was a guest of the Czar who was like the king of Russia when out of nowhere a terrible blizzard hit and we were trapped for days in the Royal Palace what did you do well for one thing I learned how to dance hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey [Music] I know a joke knock knock who's there [Music] ah why is everybody crying foreign what flowers grow between your nose
