Link's FAIL Fall

this is the story of this I'm Rhett the one on the left that one didn't fall I'm linked I'm also here if you've seen our show rhett and Link commercial Kings on IFC you've seen these quick shots coming in and out of commercials this was all links idea mind you we had this alleyway he said let's just get one of us just running straight at the camera was a good idea except for the whole fall part we did not discuss beforehand how fast we were gonna run and all I remember thinking was the city who started running well link is really going for it he is running as fast as he possibly can I've got a run I'm gonna act like I'm filming link while he's running the next thing I know link is no longer beside me and my first response as you can see there is laughter just a smile a little snicker not because I'm happy that you fell but because I thought it was funny let's watch that again in slow motion and this time blink why don't you explain what you were thinking I thought it would be in most epic fashion for me to lock eyes with the camera and never look away and that makes complete sense because the shot is so close up that you can totally tell where your eyes are the problem with my plan is they don't see when there's like a pyramid of concrete right in the path where you're running at full sprint let's watch it even slower you have an intense look on your face see I'm realizing stage boy he is running fast and you're just thinking I am running fast I'm awesome watch this right here it's like my left foot hits a pyramid and then boom I took to the air first the first thing that hits is let's see here my left leg doesn't hit the ground first my right foot hits the ground first my left arm then my right knee then my right elbow and then my right shoulder and my head never hits the ground your glasses have bounced off they're bouncing off to the right there it was a good safe it's a good safe right now I have realized what it's happened see I'm like whoa the guy with the camera that's me he was concentrating on acting like I was filming you I mean I did not fall I mean when your legs are waggling in the air like that you know you're in pain you knew I wasn't joking right right here comes our producer Biagio the guy on the right and that was Carl left is just a passerby just a random guy that have to be walking by he offers no help as you can see look he barely looks at me until he until he's gone by then he looks back what a coward you see but Biagio is going for his his phone so he can actually turn a camera on and film this yeah and if you watch it back you'll see that Biagio was reaching for his camera even as he was running out Louis's is a great cameraman because he knew I got a keep rolling and I've got to reef I got to reframe this and then we get links unadulterated in the moment response with audio this time how you feeling like did you just you just bit it for your art I think I broke my elbow do you think it's really broken oh you messed up your side pretty good too right [Laughter] look at my Jean oh my god this knee right here oh nice yeah she gives you some ice and we should probably get you back to the office yeah let's quit for today it looked really bad I can't reduce you couldn't delay no I was looking at the camera Larry thinking wow he's really sprinting look at him go it's like two seconds later [Laughter] [Music] can you brain can I can playback in slow motion later and now let's see how it all comes together because you see link has asked that this particular fall show up in every single episode of rattling commercial Kings and this is how it all comes together here's an example I think he's going for it suplex [Music] no need to maintain eye contact with a camera when running at top speed in a back out don't feel pressure to do that but do feel pressure to watch our television show every Friday this summer Breton Lee commercial Keeks IFC ten nine I did this for you do that for me [Music]
