in this video i will show you how to implement this dramatic zoom effect in obs and let you viewers trigger it with twitch channel points welcome everybody i'm happy to have you here again i'm cons your diy stream truth creator and i'm constantly working on making my stream more interactive for my viewers and to implement this dramatic zoom effect you need the obs move transitions plugin and trigger fire if you haven't worked with any of those please check out both of those videos i made earlier where i show you how to install them and set them up so in order to give your viewers the ability to actually trigger something we have to add a new channel point reward for that head into your twitch dashboard go to view rewards channel points manage channel points and add a new channel point redemption i call mine dramatic zoom and i also add some fun emotes so people see what it is actually about so to implement the dramatic zoom effect at obs we first have to create a new scene which contains our camera feed so we go to the scenes tab and we go to the plus icon and enter camera scene and in here we're going to add a new video capture device which is our camera and right click transform fit to screen and we are also going to add the dramatic sound effect over here we click on the plus icon media source and we call it dramatic sound effect and we choose a local file or dramatic sound effect click on ok and we're going to hide that sound effect as this is later on toggled on and off by trigger fire now that we have created this scene we can right click on the scene go to filters and add a new effect filter we're going the plus icon and we use a move source filter we call it dramatic zoom click on ok and then we actually have to drag our camera image bigger to determine the end point of the zoom effect so we go back into the sources tab down here and drag our camera image a lot bigger such that we have a very massive dramatic zoom effect and then in our effects dialog we have to set several things first now that we have determined the endpoint we have to click on get transformation and then we're going to scroll down and on next move we're going to use reverse now we close it right click on our camera source go to transform and go fit to screen so that it is reset to a normal value and then when we go back into our filters view right click filters and we enable the dramatic zoom effect we see that it actually works but the timing isn't right yet so we want that the dramatic zoom effect is much faster so we're going to reduce the custom duration to 50 milliseconds and while the sound is playing we also want that it stays zoomed in so we're going to delay the end by 4000 milliseconds as our sound is 4 seconds long and when we now enable the dramatic zoom effect it will be staying on much longer and after 4 seconds it will go back and the zoom is also much faster as we can see here now we are finished with setting up the dramatic zoom effect now we have to nest the camera scene into another seam such that it can be used with trigger fire so we're going to add another scene here we call it camera scene filters click on ok and in here we're going into the sources view as well click on the plus icon and add a scene and we're going to choose the camera scene and we can see ourselves again now we go to the game scene and here we have to add the camera filters as well so we go to scenes camera scene filters which will add us back into the game scene and we can drag it a little bit smaller and now that triggerfire actually works in our game scene we have to add the trigger fire browser overlay which you can find out how to do in my other video now we want to try out the dramatic zoom effect in our game scene for that we're going to select the camera scene again right click and go to filters and we drag the dialog a little bit to the side and select our game scene again and then when we enable the filter we can see that we have the dramatic zoom effect also in our game scene and now to the last part where we set up the trigger fire triggers when you successfully connected trigger fire to obs go to the obs tab in trigger fire and make sure that it is actually connected then we have to create two trigger in here first one for the video zoom and then one for the audio so we click on the plus icon here and give it a command name which is video zoom then we go to manage action and we want to apply a filter we go to filter then we select the camera scene filters camera scene and here the dramatic zoom and we set it to set instead of toggle and we make sure that the whole duration is longer than the effect for me the effect is 4000 milliseconds so i'm going to set the whole duration to 10 seconds and we click on save and then we want to make sure not everyone can trigger this command because it's later on combined into a group so we set the command to broadcaster and click on save the second one we want to create is the audio so we make another trigger which is called audio zoom go to manage actions go to source select the camera scene and in here we're going to select the dramatic sound effect and the whole duration is set to 10 seconds as well we save that and we also set this to user level broadcaster and save that after those two triggers have been created we go to groups and add a new group so we click on the little plus icon down here we give this group the command dramatic zoom and we set the reward which will then be connected to the twitch report we just created so we entered it rich reward name which is dramatic zoom and save and we don't want to allow the command click on save then we go to manage group and it should be a multi-group which means it should trigger multiple actions and we click on create and the first one is audio zoom and we add a second one which is video zoom and we save that and with that we have created a trigger fire group which will be triggered when someone redeems the dramatic zoom effect through twitch channel points and now your viewers can redeem the dramatic zoom effect through channel points so click on your channel points use the dramatic zoom effect and click on redeem and there we have it the dramatic zoom effect and now i hope you viewers are going to redeem the hell out of this dramatic zoom effect and you're all
