FSR 3.0 frame generation mod for the witch of 3 on the Lenovo Legion go let's [Music] go hello everybody Welcome to the channel today let's take a look at the Witcher 3 on my Lenovo Legion go and I've got the FSR 3.0 frame generation mod by Luke FC installed so you can see I'm getting over 100 FPS which is like why you buy the lover go right that 140 4 Herz screen you want like high frame rates so yeah you want to play games like this with over 100 frames per second else you're wasting the the screen right so yeah this mod really helps it because without this mod you can't get above 100 FPS so yeah this game really really holds up so if you take a look at my uh Legion gohost settings the refresh rate is stuck on 60 HZ because um I'm using a capture card that's only supports 60 HZ so if I change it to 144 um and yeah it just doesn't doesn't even if I try it it just automatically goes back to 60 HZ so yeah that's something I can't help so it might not look as good on your YouTube because my capture card but uh trust me in real life like this game is amazing it's so smooth the graphics look at the graphics man this this game came out in 2015 it still really holds up look at the graphics how smooth it is on a gaming handheld so yeah I think definitely the best gaming handheld experience of the Legion go for this game and the mod definitely at it so if you haven't played The Witcher 3 like yeah I envy you I really wish I could play this game for the very first time G that's how good this game is um so if you haven't played it you really should you really should get this game uh the story the combat the game play yeah everything is good about it and it runs so well on a gaming handheld all right let's go travel around I'll show you my in-game settings my in-game settings and I'll show you how to install the mod later in the video so video display I set the resolution to 1,600 by 900 I think this is The Sweet Spot because if you go down to like 1280 by 720 or 1280 by 800 like it does feel like the the resolution is too low so this is the sweet spot for me and then D SS frame generation is on it's because I have the the mod that's why I can enable this if you don't have the mod because the legion go doesn't have a Nvidia display card so this isn't really dlss frame generation because the mod is on okay and then um let me move my camera a bit let me move it to the bottom left okay so I set the graphic preset to steam deck and then um anti- aing I set it to DSS like I said it's not really dsss it's actually FSR 3.0 I'm using the mod and then dsss set to Quality and that's it I think I turned off motion blow yep that's it and yeah that's my settings and I get this result so over 100 FPS let me move my camera maybe I should put it the bottom right yeah good place play the mini map all right let's go go mess around a bit look at the graphics peric I can't wait for the next generation of The Witcher 4 I think they're using Unreal Engine 5 in development it'll probably take take them a few years but yeah can't wait for that but I wasn't really a big fan of cyber Punk 2077 but maybe because uh the first person and the story yeah I'm not really a cyber Punk like gun fighting I'm more like for RPGs I really like these like armor swords stuff like that I really couldn't get into the story for cyber Punk find any uh so yeah this mod is not a free mod apparently it's under the pay War you need to join the Creator Luke FC's patreon in order to like download it uh it's only a few dollars uh it works for a lot of games uh the games need to be supported by Direct X12 and it needs to have built in FSR or dlss um and yeah a lot of games work some games have the UI flickering or the uh like ghosting this game doesn't this game runs perfectly without without any of those issues but I still can't find anything to fight want to find some you know wolves or something like that go check it out I can't believe this game was like it's almost 10 years old like some newer games aren't as good as this but you can't really compare this game got so many awards Game of the Year it's got I think this game's got crazy amount of awards okay that was easy these a pretty low level oh they're level nine Wonder so yeah amazing right so I'll show you how to install this I'll go back to my desktop okay here it is here it is so I've got this game on my goog account okay it's under Gog account so you need to locate your game folder so depending on where you have your game let me turn off the monit okay back okay so for me my game is in uh C drive program files GG Galaxy and then Games The Witcher 3 wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition and then inside here inside the the game folder you go inside bin and then x 64 dx12 this is where we're going to put your uh mod files all right this you've got a Witcher 3 exe here you want to run the game in direct X12 you don't want to run the game in direct X11 because the mod doesn't work for D X11 okay and then I've got my mods here so this the Luke FC mods I think I'm using an older version the latest version as of recording should be 0.10 4 I haven't downloaded that yet um so I'm just using the like the previous one so it's 0.10.5 version of The Mod and the game uses FSR 2.0 so I'm just going to use um the 200 so the 200. zip okay you just drag this extract this over to the game folder EX 64 dx12 make sure it's this one I already have it so just replace the destination file and then you also need the common dotzip so you just need these two files wi mm. do and the win mm. ini I'm going to extract these two as well over then yeah I already have it so I'm just going to replace it and then you need to run the game once like this so just like this run the game once and it will generate a this file FSR 2 FSR 3. config.lua GPU you have to set it to True by default it should be false so set this just make sure this is set to true and then save it okay and then exit and then you run the game again let me run the game yeah you see this is the mod window it's hooking up with the game he the game spoted up and then inside the game go to options go to video display okay make sure you turn on dsss frame generation else like you'll get the flickering the UI flickering ghosting stuff like that and then inside the graphics all right you can test out different settings I put it on theme deck and then anti-aliasing make sure you put it on DSs and set the dlss to Quality and that's it that's how you you set up this mod works perfectly for the lover Legion go so if you have
