[Music] so much to learn about it'll make you want to shout with me [Music] hey it's me and today we get to ride some really cool water slides yeah at not soak city in buena park california yeah but before we can go on the water slides we need to get all geared up let's put on our swimsuit look i'm in my swimsuit there's one thing we're forgetting sunscreen we need to make sure we put on our sunscreen or we do any kind of swimming okay here we go you don't want to get a sunburn whoa get your hands and your legs and i'm going to spray some on my hand on my face now we're all ready to do some swimming and ride some water slides come on [Music] so silly whoa do you see this place there are so many cool things here let's go check it out come on [Music] whoa look at it there are so many things here like a lazy river whoa hello it's so lazy and a giant water slide maybe we could do that or we could do this [Music] what's back there let's see if we can see [Music] do you see it look there's a turtle with some fish maybe we could do that too whoa but do you see this it's a giant lighthouse whoa [Music] it's so big yeah lighthouses are so cool because they have really big and bright lights yeah bright lights and the lights help to tell fishermen and other boats where the shore is so they don't have an accident on the rocks helps to keep all the boats really safe well i think the lighthouse is pretty cool oh what do you see that behind me yeah that's the beach house and the beach house has so many fun things to explore let's go check it out come on [Music] yeah we get to go on the beach house i'm so excited come on [Music] whoa but before we go up to the big slides on the beach house we need to make sure that we're this tall [Music] looks like we are and we need to go barefoot which means i can't wear my water shoes nope we'll take them off [Music] one shoe [Applause] two shoes okay we'll leave them here put them on later [Music] whoa look at it up here there are so many water things and it's really loud look at this when you press this button it puts water in this really cool and then when it fills all the way to the top we can throw it out that's really fun don't get too splashed come on [Music] look at it up here it's so pretty and hey look who it is it's a lifeguard hello i'm blippi what's your name hi blippi i'm ashley hi ashley ashley is a lifeguard yeah lifeguards are really important because they help keep you and i safe when we go swimming or if we're at a really fun water park hey i bet ashley knows how to keep us safe let's ask her hi ashley how can we stay safe when we're here at the water park i want blippi ways to stay safe include always wearing sunscreen when you're out in the sun okay making sure you have a parent's permission before you go anywhere near the water and make sure there's a lifeguard on stand to help keep you safe as well and always make sure you wear a coast guard approved life jacket oh okay whoa those are a lot of things well first we put on our sunscreen yeah you don't get a sunburn and you always want to be with a grown-up and make sure a lifeguard's on duty should also wear a life jacket you're swimming in a pool another really good thing is learning how to swim yeah i love swimming it's so much fun well now that we learned how to be safe i think it's time to go down the really big the beach house come on [Music] look at this place it's so cool there are so many water guns and spouts let's go see what we can find that was really cold whoa what it looks like the door isn't open [Music] look over here you see it look at all the slides there's so many different colors i bet you and i would have a really fun time if we go over there to the colorful slides look there's so many different types like orange and blue let's go [Music] whoa it's so big whoa look at all the slides hey and check this out whoa this is a tube and this is what we're gonna use to ride down some of these slides hello do you know what shape this is yeah this is a really big circle before we get in the tube we need to decide what slide are we going to go down there are so many different kinds look at them all whoa the water's going so fast and they're all different colors what color slide do you see [Music] yeah look i see a slide that's the color green good job do you see any other colors hmm whoa look over here yeah there's a slide that's the color yellow hmm you see any other colors [Music] yeah i see a couple more colors too my favorite color the color blue well this right here looks like a rainbow there are so many different colors blue and green and red and orange whoa they all sound really really fun i wonder what slide we're gonna go down i'm so excited and it's gonna be so much fun okay let's go sliding yeah okay here we go [Music] whoa they did it we went down the slide that was so fun yeah [Music] hello that was a really steep slide that was really fun let's go again [Music] whoa that one was really tall and really fast it was so much fun i can't wait to ride some more yeah almost forgot my two that was so much fun that slide was really really tough that was the most fun and crazy and fast light i've ever been on well it looks like i'm all done with the slides here i guess you and i get to explore some more fun things in the park let's go hey look at this really cool place there's so many fun water things here and look it's a shipwreck let's go see there's some buried treasure come on look at it you see this it's a treasure chest should i open it up and see what's inside okay let's see what's in this treasure chest it's very treasure there's all kinds of really cool gems and coins gold coins i feel like a pirate okay hey i have an idea why don't we see if this treasure chests sink or floats okay let's see if it sinks or float [Music] whoa look at it this treasure chest it floats that's so cool yeah i didn't think this treasure chest would float i thought it would sink that's kind of heavy and it's filled with all kinds of gems points hey treasure chest treasure hunt and what if you and i went on a scavenger treasure hunt and we found all types of things and see if they sink or float that would be so much fun okay i'll leave the treasure chest here for later and let's go see what else we can discover this is gonna be awesome come this is a really scary shark just kidding this shark is really friendly and cute hello hello shark he's our friend and look on his back he has this whoa i don't know what this is it kind of looks like seaweed whoa yeah and it's the colors green blue and orange let's see if it sinks or floats whoa look at it it sinks all the way to the bottom yeah we finally found something that sinks but we're not done yet [Music] whoa look at this hello he's wearing a hat or a visor so the sun doesn't get in his eyes you mind if i borrow your visor ah thanks let's see if this sinks or floats what do you think do you think this red and white visor will sink or float let's find out [Music] whoa look at it the top part floats but the bottom part is kind of heavy so it sinks it's kind of suspended in the water whoa hey do you see all those animals over there what kind of animals are those [Music] that's right look there are two turtles one turtle two turtles and there are two crabs one crab two crabs let's see if maybe they're hiding something that we can use to sink or float whoa this turtle has an inflatable hammock on its back whoa and this crab has a teeny tiny shark let's see if both of these green and white objects yeah they're both the color green and white let's see if they sing or float first we'll do the hammock here we go hey look it floats yeah and now i shark here we go good luck [Music] [Applause] the sharks swam all the way to the bottom and sunk now let's see what else hello excuse me [Music] look at this hello oh look at this yeah this is a life ring and this helps you in case you need to float in the ocean do you know what shape this life ring is [Music] yeah it's a circle and it's the color orange and white okay let's see if this sinks or floats whoa look it floats hello mr turtle look at this turtle it's so cool its shell is yellow red and really dark green so many colors and it has a little fish on its back hello fish you think this fish will sink or float let's see whoa whoa it sunk [Music] look at what it is it's a giant octopus on top of a yellow submarine yeah submarines are really cool vehicles that go under the water they sink but sometimes the people driving the submarine need to get out so it floats all the way to the top submarines sink but they also float let's see if some other objects are hiding inside the submarine [Music] oh look at it oh this one's kind of stuck [Music] do you know what these are yeah these right here are full noodles and they're my favorite colors orange and blue do you think these pool noodles will sink or float i guess we'll have to test it out okay one two three [Music] they [Music] float whoa do you see what it is it's a little red fish hello hello but it's a ring there's a big circle inside the fish he's so cute i wonder if this fish that's also a ring will sink or float and hey look it has some friends we have one fish two fish three fish [Music] and four fish okay i'm gonna drop them all at the same time to see if they sink their float [Music] whoa look at it we have a yellow and redfish wait a minute look are they gonna sink are they gonna float whoa that was so cool the blue bluefish and the green fish they sunk right away but the yellow and redfish were floating but then they all sunk so silly hey i think we should go inside the yellow submarine and see if we can find anything else [Music] look it's a pail a watering can or a watering pail yeah if you have any plants you want to keep them nice and healthy and strong you just give them a little water do you think this will sink or float okay let's see [Music] whoa yeah it floats but maybe if it fills up with water nope it still floats even if it has some water in it whoa i think i forgot something do you see this over here well let's see if this was sink or float i think this would be really exciting and cool because it's so big okay stay right here i'll be right back it's so big whoa look at this this ball is so big oh that's right it comes from oranges silly meat oranges are so tasty and really good for your body because they give you lots of vitamins and [Applause] [Music] [Music] look at energy there are so many cool colorful fruits oh there's so many different shapes and sizes whoa look at this whoa look at these fruits these are really fuzzy they're soft oh yeah these fruits are kiwi whoa they're the color brown but kiwi you cut them open they're the color green and they're really sweet inside they're really cool i'm gonna save these for later [Music] look at this fruit this fruit is really big and heavy this is a watermelon whoa the watermelons are really big and tasty yeah they're the color green but kind of like a kiwi if you open them up they're right inside and they have lots of little teeny tiny black seeds that'll grow up to be other watermelon that was so cool we learned about all these different colors and fruits and we learned about orange juice comes from oranges whoa hey but now that we know where orange juice comes from where do oranges come from maybe they grow up really tall in the tree or maybe down in the ground i'm not sure but i know a great place that you and i can go we can find out all we need to know about oranges hey will you go with me yeah come on let's go [Music] i'm so excited come on [Music] it's me flippy and today we're here at showcase of citrus in claremont florida yeah and today we get to learn all about oranges throwing oranges picking oranges juicing oranges yeah i'm super excited and hungry because oranges are really tasty not only that but it's my favorite color this is gonna be so much fun come on [Music] i'm so excited to learn all about oranges but first you and i get to go on a really exciting adventure ride on these big monster trucks yeah hey let's get a closer look come on whoa look at it these wheels and tires are massive they're even taller than me whoa i just love monster trucks whoa and look inside this wheel it's really big it echoes hello whoa i am so excited to get in one of the monster trucks and hey look it's the driver hello what's your name hi my name is amy hi amy i think amy's gonna take us on a monster truck ride this is gonna be great come on and hey look it's amy hi amy hi come on let's go [Music] we're riding on a real-life monster truck yeah let's sit down and get ready to start [Music] all right let's go okay we're gonna go [Applause] that's a really loud engine this is gonna be awesome [Music] so amy i really like oranges will we be able to pick some oranges to eat later we will can we just pick any oranges we want so we only have a certain amount of oranges that are available to pick some of them aren't ready yet but we do have lots of them well how do you tell if an orange is ready or not so how you tell is usually by the color um sometimes though it's usually more of when you feel it make sure at least it's a little bit soft we like oranges that are nice and soft and juicy we don't want to unripe orange no are those normally green oranges they actually are a lot of people don't know that um so actually you know during um fall how the leaves start to change that's the same thing with oranges they start off green and once it gets cool and they start to turn that nice yellow orange color um and that is when you know they're ready to pick whoa that's so cool i didn't know that before but you have leaves and fall that are green and then they turn my favorite color orange yeah and amy's telling me that it's the same thing with oranges they're green and not very good to eat and then they get nice and sweet and tasty as orange oranges my favorite that was so much fun riding the monster truck with you well i'm really excited because amy is going to help us pick some oranges in the orange grove yeah come on let's go pick some tasty oranges all right so to start you're gonna need your bag oh we got our bag you're also gonna need your picker this is to help to get the oranges that are way high on top of the tree okay and next we'll use the picker okay so we need to pick some oranges but do you remember what color we needed to pick the orange at yeah that's right yellowish orange see this one right here yeah this orange is the color green and it's a little firm so it's not quite ripe yet we want to find one hmm i don't see any on this tree let's keep looking for an orange that's the right color come on [Music] there are so many oranges on this one hey amy let's pick this one right here so how do i pick this orange all right so we're going to do is you're going to pull and twist it down we're going to pull and twist there you go twist and pull whoa you got two i picked two oranges yeah and look they're a nice yellowish orange color which means they're gonna be super sweet and tasty yeah okay so i'll put these in our orange bag and pick some more oranges [Music] okay let's get this one up here we're gonna use the picker because it's too high up for me to get we'll grab it with the picker and then kind of twist it whoa hey and we got it and then you just reach into the picker and you got yourself a tasty orange thanks amy welcome hey and look this orange tree has some really pretty white flowers huh what are these white flowers called those are orange blossoms huh well they sure are really pretty what are these uh flowers for just pretty decoration no so actually these are gonna end up turning into this what no way yeah did you hear that those pretty orange blossoms are gonna grow well big and strong and be a tasty fruit yeah i can't wait to eat some for myself hey how about let's pick some more and then we can taste them yeah okay let's keep picking some oranges fix it down here's another one one pick a second one two [Music] let's get another three you can fit one more in there we can fit one more look i'm pretty full here we go and four oh yeah four oranges and whoa it looks like i filled up the entire bag with oranges yeah these are gonna be really tasty and juice or just by themselves well thanks so much amy you're welcome let's go eat them come on that was so much fun picking all of those tasty oranges from the orange grove and now we get to enjoy them by making some tasty orange juice yeah we have everything we need right here we have some cups [Music] we have our oranges that'll have all the juice we have our juicer [Music] yeah and this juicer will put the oranges in here and that'll squeeze out all the juice into our cup and last but not least we have our cutting board and we have a knife now the first thing we need to do is take our orange and cut it in half but just remember to never use a knife without a parent's help okay here we go [Music] look at it it's so colorful inside so silly yeah look at the inside there's all these little parts that hold in all that sweet orange juice yeah and look at the outside of it all that little parts that are all white that's called the pit yeah the pit is a really healthy part of the orange so if you ever eat an orange make sure you eat that part too because it has lots of healthy vitamins cool okay so we have our oranges cut in half and now take the juicer and a cup put the orange in the juicer and we're going to squeeze really hard and we'll watch as all the juice comes out of the bottom are you ready here we go one two three whoa look at it [Music] yeah and then you just take the orange out put them right there put in the other half oh look at all that orange juice whoa it's really good that we have this juicer to help us get all the juice out otherwise we'd be really tricky juicing these oranges also if you look at the bottom the orange juicer has all these teeny little slits yeah and those slits help to catch all of the seeds inside of the orange yeah each orange these are kind of hard to pick up as these teeny tiny little seeds and the seeds are gonna one day grow up and be really strong big trees first the seed you plant it in the soil and a little leaf sprouts up and then after you water it and take care of it for a little bit it'll become a seedling which is kind of like a teeny tiny little baby tree and then it grows into a small tree and then into a really big adult tree and it will grow fresh oranges to pick off the tree well we already picked our oranges so i'm gonna get to cutting and juicing so we can taste some yummy orange juice let's go [Music] look at this one this orange is red inside whoa that's really silly yeah that's because this orange is called a red navel it's colored red but it'll still be really tasty so we'll do some of these too [Music] oh yeah we did it whoa that was a lot of oranges to make this yummy cup of orange juice but i think it's all gonna be worth it and now we get to taste the fruits of our liver okay here we go [Music] oh yeah this is really tasty it's super sweet and really healthy too did you know that orange juice has lots of vitamin c in it and it's really good for immunity to help you fight disease and stay nice and strong and healthy yeah i think i'm gonna have another sip so tasty well thanks so much for helping me learn how to make will they sink or float whoa look at it they flew to the top those strawberries are having a fun time floating let's try another fruit what about this freak this is an avocado let's see if it sinks or floats okay here we go on the count of three we're gonna drop it in i wonder what it does three two one whoa what's it gonna do oh look at it it sinks right to the bottom that was really cool okay it's time to try one more fruit hey what about an orange let's try the orange this is gonna be fun okay here we go whoa that was bouncy yeah look the orange floats to the top wait a minute oranges have peels what if we peel it and try it again okay let's try it there's a little one and it doesn't have its peel it looks kind of silly let's see if it sinks or floats whoa did you see it yeah we know something sinks or floats because of density if an orange with a peel is kind of loosely packed together then it's gonna float but like the peeled orange if it's really tightly packed together then it'll sink to the bottom wow that was so much fun doing a science experiment with you of sync or plute whoa all that sweet sweet orange juice has me in the mood for some sweet sweet dance moves yeah let's do the oj twist together and here are the moves do you remember how we picked oranges with amy yeah you grab the orange and then you twist and you pull it up and then you have an orange so that's what we're gonna do grab an orange grab an orange and twist the second step is to have lots of fun and jump around while you're doing it i'm so excited to dance with you let's go [Music] now kong hong kong and some really big wheels and tires i think it would be so cool to be a real-life firefighter yeah whoa look at it it's a real life fire fighter pole hey let's slide down to the bottom job to be a firefighter because to help save people's lives and put out fires with a really big water hose hey look that's another job you could beat you could be a pilot yeah and fly really big airplanes hey you could also be an engineer well what does an engineer do they're really good at math yeah like adding up numbers and subtracting numbers and they plan all types of things so that other people can build them that's so silly hey what do you want to be when you grow up [Music] that sounds really cool i want to be that too hey i have a really cool idea how about you and i go to this place where we can pretend to do all kinds of different jobs that would be so exciting and fun and then you can pick your favorite job okay will you go with me today come on let's go [Music] i'll see you there hey we made it to great explorations children's museum in st petersburg florida yeah and i am so excited to learn all about jobs let's go [Music] this is one of my favorite places this is a pizza oven inside of a pizza restaurant one job that you can have when you grow up is to be a chef chefs are so cool yeah chefs are in charge of cooking all of the food at a restaurant and i really like cooking pizza oh it's so tasty hey i have an idea how about you and i make a pizza together okay here we go first we need one of these pizza paddles to put the pizza in the really hot oven because we don't want to touch it with our hands okay get that and we'll get a metal plate so first things first we need to start with the pizza dough yeah we'll get the pizza dough right here sometimes when you get the pizza dough it's crumpled up into a little ball so yeah stretch it and sometimes spin it whoa like this and that helps to make it look like a circle yeah look it's a circle good job okay put the pizza dough down and now we get to put on some yummy toppings hey do you have a favorite pizza topping uh i like that one too okay let's get started okay we'll put on some tomato sauce oh my favorite cheese [Music] i love pizza with lots of cheese okay we'll put the cheese there and now we can put all the toppings we have some spinach so tasty and we have black olives whoa and they're all sliced up yeah put those there we have whoa [Music] do you know what these are yeah these are mushrooms we'll put these on too put on some onions ooh and then once you get your pizza made then put it into the oven and you'll wait and it looks like our pizza is delicious and all done yeah and now we get to go put it in a box come on [Music] yeah cool you did a really good job making a pizza with me and now it's my favorite part we get to eat the pizza [Music] this pizza is really tasty and that's because you helped me make it thanks so much wow that was so cool learning about being a chef and making a lot of yummy pizza oh look over here wow there are so many different types of animals i love animals hey do you have a favorite kind of animal yeah i like that animal too whoa look we have some kitty cats and we have this looks like a really big puppy dog hello puppy dog [Music] we have a really colorful parrot and a bunny rabbit yeah let's go get a closer look come on [Music] look at this place this place is a veterinarian's office yeah a veterinarian or a vet and that's a person that takes care of hurt or sick animals yeah whoa look we have some really cute animals here hello ah this is such a cute puppy but we want to make sure that this puppy is okay so the first thing you can do is take it to get an mri yeah an mri it's basically a scanner that uses magnets to take pictures of this puppy but not pictures on the outside where it's smiling pictures of all the stuff inside like it's bones to make sure they're not broken and this puppy is doing really okay let's see okay puppy whoa look at it the mri is showing the inside of this puppy's leg whoa that's pretty cool well this puppy seems to be pretty okay but it looks like it hurt its lip so we're gonna take care of it yeah okay here we go the first thing we want to do is put a bandage on its leg so i use some dots [Applause] oh we did it we bandaged up this puppy he's gonna be all better real soon and the next thing we want to do is give this puppy some medicine here you go puppy [Music] he's happy feeling better already yeah and the last thing we want to do is we want to put this cone around its head because sometimes puppies get really playful and they take off their bandages we don't want to take it off until he's all better he is so cute yeah i love being a veterinarian being a vet with you was really fun because we've got to learn about animals and take care of them if they get sick or hurt whoa this was awesome [Music] at what it is it's a fire truck yeah whoa fire trucks are so cool and look at this it has really big wheels and tires whoa and really bright headlights and a metal bumper i bet it would be really fun to ride in one of these come on it is so much fun riding in a fire truck and look up here yeah this right here is the fire fighters siren and it goes like this yeah when a firefighter has to go and help people from a fire they turn this on and they honk their horns and that lets everyone know in the area that there's an emergency and they should move off the street yeah so they can get there nice and quick and safely [Music] and look at this this is a very important part of a fire truck this is the fire ladder and it's really helpful for helping firefighters get up to really high buildings to save people and to use their hose to put out the fires oh look and these are the valves where you hook up the hose but this is a really big fire hose it's not like a regular hose you might have in your yard it's really really really powerful to push out the fires and make everyone safe yeah come on [Music] whoa look at this this is the fire pole whoa the fire pole is really helpful because in a firehouse the firefighters they live up on the second floor and the fire truck is on the first floor so the pole helps them not have to take the stairs yeah oh did you see this yeah this is a firefighter's uniform it is so cool because it's fireproof yeah if you or i were in a fire that would be really dangerous because our clothes are flammable they can catch on fire but not a firefighter they can go and save you because they're fireproof whoa did you see the helmet yeah look at this this firefighter has a really cool yellow helmet and that protects their head from anything that might fall on it do you see this yeah this is a really powerful fire hose whoa this is so cool there are so many different adjustment valves and look it's really really big so that it can have a very powerful spray put out all the fires wow maybe one day you and i can meet firefighters too we can help save people but to be a firefighter you have to be really really brave yeah rave hey do you know what being brave means yeah when you're brave that means you might be scared or something but you do it anyway because you're gonna help help people and keep them safe well i really want to do a job that will help people too yeah that would be awesome [Music] look where we are yeah a job that you can do when you grow up is being a nurse yeah being a nurse is a really great job because you help take care of others and make sure they get better when they might be sick let's go see everything that a nurse does yeah [Music] [Applause] [Music] whoa look at this did you see it this right here is a skeleton whoa there are so many bones yeah bones do you know what a bone is yeah these are different types of bones and a bone is what helps make you up yeah helps you stand nice and tall it's right under your skin bones are really important and it's important to take care of your bones well it's really good to learn about bones because if you ever break a bone you can go to a nurse and they can help you come on look at this box it's really bright this will help us look at different kinds of x-rays yeah whoa this right here this is an x-ray and it kind of just looks like a dark sheet but it actually is a picture of the inside of your hand so when you put it up here you can read the x-ray yeah you can see all the different bones inside your hand whoa and this is really helpful to take a picture and x-ray of your hand because if you break a bone the nurse can say you broke this bone and now we can fix it okay wow x-rays and nurses are pretty amazing whoa and look at this over here another thing you do when you go see a nurse just see how tall you are whoa look i'm 5 feet and 11 inches tall that's pretty tall hey do you know how tall you are whoa that's pretty tall too and i bet when you grow up you'll be even taller maybe five foot eleven or six foot or six foot one inch or seven feet tall whoa that's really tall being a nurse is an amazing job maybe one day i'll be a nurse when i grow up and i can help make people feel better yeah well this was really exciting hey i'll see you in just one second hey whoa that was so much fun learning about all those different types of jobs there were a lot of them whoa hey which one was your favorite job [Music] yeah i like that one a lot too it was really fun doing that with you whoa look at this over here come on you see what it says curiosity corner that means it's time for the curiosity corner where you and i get to learn all types of things but i wonder what we're gonna learn today i guess you and i are just gonna have to find out i'm so excited let's go [Music] hey welcome to the curiosity corner where we get to paint a really beautiful picture together and it looks like we have everything we need we have our paints look we have three different colors blue yellow and red these colors are really important because they're primary colors and primary colors are used to mix get mixed up and make every other color in the rainbow so we're gonna use these to paint a beautiful picture well we're gonna need our palette with paints and a paint brush okay so let's wet our brush first then we get the paint okay so first we want to make a really cool orange because it's my favorite fruit and favorite color so we'll start with some yellow whoa it's so fun to mix up the paints we gotta make a circle [Music] whoa look we made a yellow circle but it's not quite the right color so now we're gonna add another primary color red just a little bit of red a little bit of water and then you can mix it up to make an orange whoa look at how pretty that color is it has little bits of red and little bits of yellow and a lot a bit of orange whoa that was so much fun learning about colors with you and painting a really pretty picture it's time for me to go wash out my brush looks like we got some traffic here [Music] whoa that was so much fun learning about all those different kinds of jobs with you there were so many different kinds well even if you didn't pick your favorite today that's okay you have all the time in the world just keep on exploring and being curious and i'm sure you'll find what you will want to do when you grow up well i'm having a
