Last Epoch Loot Filter for All Classes & Builds

hi everyone it's Rax I just spent six straight hours on my stream with thousands of lovely people watching me helping me and I made a loot filter that works for every player and every class for the entire game from the start of the game all the way to the endgame so I will show you how you can get this and the link will be down below I show you exactly how to get it and I'm going to show you how to set it up because it's going to take a little bit of work from you to get it exactly right but it's really really easy so first of all I'm going to give you a paste bin in order to grab the loot filter it looks like this it looks just like a bunch of garbage click inside of it contrl a to select all contrl C to copy now you have the loot filter go into the game shift F to open the loot filters add a loot filter paste from the clipboard contents boom it'll have the wrong name of it you can name it whatever you want Jim Bob's loot filter I like to color it blue with a blue hoodie icon and there you go and you will be able to make a perfect loot filter here's how you deal with this start at the very bottom of the loot filter and read up anything in caps lock are instructions that I have provided you in order to help you set it up correctly it's very easy I'm going to show you right now step by by step so at the bottom of the loot filter hide all items it doesn't have doesn't have any uh caps lock after it so you don't need to do anything with it it's just going to hide everything at the bottom remember with loot filters everything above an item Su above a rule supersedes the one below it so at the bottom we're going to hide everything the next row is for leveling up I'm going to show you every single item until you get to level 10 when you to level 10 this rule will automatically turn off okay so then from 10 to all the way to 60 which should be the end of the campaign it's only going to show you items that are rare or better okay so these should take you through the campaign very nicely if you want to make more strict rules for leveling in the campaign you can I don't think you need anything more complicated than this I don't use anything more complicated than this when I play then I'm going to have a rule that's going to show you every exalted item until you turn level 75 when you turn level 75 it's going to get a lot more strict that's going to give you a chance to get some basic gear it's going to give you a chance um to get some shattered exalts in there to build up your AIX pool so you can craft if you want it if you want to turn it off at any time just hit the check mark that will turn it off if you want it to go longer you can just change the level right here to make it go longer all right now let's get into the rules I'm going to show you every experimental item that drops experimental items drop from those Mages now the experimental items themselves are usually not very valuable unless they're exalted that's why at the top you will always see every exalted experimental but when you first start getting the experimental items they are valuable to create glyphs of insight if you don't know how this works watch my video on Godly crafting with glyphs of insight it's maybe 10 videos back watch that video and it will explain to you how to create these once you have about 20 of them you shouldn't need any more ever again and then you can just turn off this rule so it says turn this off after you have 20 glyphs of in so I have 20 glyphs so I turn it off no problem let's keep going here Idols are difficult to deal with because uh ehg doesn't have very good rules for Idols for filtering this is something that they need to massively improve going forward so there are two sets of rules there's decent idols and then there's Godly Idols okay so we always want to see The Godly Idols at the top to but the decent Idols will be very good when you first start out so you'll see it says uncheck the rule when you're rich which means when you have a shitload of idols and you don't need any more mediocre Idols you just want the Godly ones just uncheck the rules so I'm pretty far I got some really good Idols I'll just uncheck those rules here are The Godly small Idols no no caps Tex so nothing to do here are The Godly Idols no problem now here are the specific Idols check your build for specific idle affixes so whatever build you're following you would go in here you would say okay uh maybe you really want uh Frost claw Mana efficiency that's a super popular one so you just search for frostclaw and you'd set that and maybe you're also playing a bleed Warlock and you say um I want chance to apply damned so I'll take chance to apply damned and then maybe you go here and you say I'm also playing the detonating arrow uh Marksman build so uh maybe I want something with detonating arrow okay and I look here increased area maybe I want that all you have to do is look at the couple of builds that you're playing and fill in any of the class specific Idols but what I have done for you is I have already picked all of the regular really good idols so anything that's generic like the health and the resistances and the ones that are combined the health with the resistances are going to show up as Godly Idols for you so I will take care of like 90% of it but I need you to go in and put in what specific little things are you looking for and then your loot filter will be Godly by the way I gave this filter to a lot of my viewers and I had them test it for a while and they all said that it was beautiful so we tested this for a while it should be good let's go to the next rule recolor shattering useful affixes uncheck the rule when you're rich same rule here this is going to drop some very very uh Godly affixes that you want to shatter to start to build up your bank of these for example movement speed cool down recovery all of the different Health ones crit multiplier and crit chance stuff like that feel free to jump in here and add any affixes that you're really looking for whenever it drops at four or higher it's going to color it orange and orange means shatter it that way you're never going to run out of hybrid Health affixes if you got 900 of them and you don't need this rule anymore and you're rich uncheck it no problem next we're going to shatter the class affixes and the the caps lock instructions are uncheck unwanted classes so you go in here and you say all right you want to know what I'm making a warlock and a lich I'm going to make a I'm going to make a rune master I'm not making a primalist or a sentinel but I'm definitely making the detonating arrow Marksman but I'm almost certain I'm not going to play these two classes uncheck them no problem if you're going to play all five great uncheck the ones that you're Almost sure you're not going to play and then again when it drops as an orange color it's not going to be an exalted item but it will have an AIX three or higher of one of these very very rare class specific affixes just shatter it if you find you're getting these orange things all the time and it's annoying just increase this number it can be three four five if you make it a four it's going to be more strict five is the most strict and then if you think you've got everything you can uncheck it I don't know if I would ever uncheck it but you could if you're really rich it's better just to increase this number by the way if I didn't mention this before feel free to pause the video put it on your other monitor copy the loot filter and follow along with me just fill it in as we go then you'll be done all right now here comes the Cutie Patootie part the tier six exalts remember you're going to see every exalted item until you're 75 then these more strict rules are going to come in so tier six exalts are nice but really what you want are tier seven so what I did is I went through here and I picked really really Godly stats for tier six that you might really want so uh I picked all the different classes once again uncheck any classes that you aren't playing but if you get a tier six of a specific skill for any class you probably want to take a look at it in case you're going to play that class but we're getting things like the attributes we're getting things like uh lightning pen shouldn't be in here lightning pen is what I was adding to my own thing getting things like crit multi crit strike chance damage over time all of the healths now the resistances and armor we discuss this at at length cold resist is very strong right now because frostbite shackles enable Ward for so many builds so T6 cold res is actually pretty good La res necrotic res is pretty good for several classes all res endurance and physical res these are pretty good you can Tinker with this a little bit for what T6 rules you would like to see you might have such Godly you might have such Godly um exalts in your bank that that you don't even care about T6 anymore it is completely possible just to uncheck this rule entirely and only go for t7s if you've got everything but in general what you should do is go in here and just add the damage pen or the damage the penetration and any class specific stuff that you're looking for so for example if you go in here and you type in uh like let's say you're playing the detonating arrow Marksman well you need a lot of lightning things so I would turn on Lightning pen lightning damage I really want uh I even want melee light flat melee lightning on a weapon is very very good I might want that and you go through and maybe you really want endurance and stuff like that go in for your different builds just have an idea of any of the T6 stuff that you would like to see okay then we get to t7 and T s is like the best items in the game so I pretty much picked almost everything in the whole game you should be looking at the t7 stuff that drops I did go through however and I unchecked a few things that at least myself and Chad agreed upon at the time are just completely useless in the game as a t7 AIX so for example increase area for melee area skills you might think well Rex I play war path Warpath path usually gets the increased area in other places not off of this role and when you're doing something like when you're looking for like a t7 ax on a weapon for example you go for flat melee crit almost every time there's not really a good area where you should go for this so there are other examples like stun chance and again increased area not really very used not many of the block affixes are used except for Block chance potions we took none of those Dodge is not very good board per second is a pretty good stat but usually you never take it as your t7 stat usually you roll at T5 because you get so much W per second from the uniques draining from your current health that usually you don't take t7 Ward per second as your stat anyway we went through all of them tried to pick the ones you would really be look looking for but feel free to take a look through it make sure that I didn't filter out anything that you really really want but in general this should work very well for 97% of people then again like we mentioned several times before if you're not playing any of these classes if you're never playing primalist and Sentinel uncheck them that way you don't have to bother with their affixes okay all right this rule is if you highly need an AIX like right now so you might find a chess piece let's say with shatter strike on it and you need to either level it up or chaos it off or something and you actually don't have a single shatter strike AIX just go in here and then say I want shatter strike it's just a nice little rule that on the Fly you can add something in here to find it at any level that way when it drops you can removal it off of the chest piece and get to crafting right away this rule is to add something to ascend so you might say oh I'm playing the new detonating Arrow Marksman build but I need these two daggers and I don't have them how do I get them well Rune of ascendants works on Many Many Items as long as they're not locked to a specific boss or a specific dungeon or something so you just go in here and you say okay well my item type I want it to be a dagger I want a dagger like that I don't know why the search didn't work and then you're going to pick up all of the daggers and they're all they're going to be very obvious they're going to be nice bright green color and then you can go to your crafting thing you can use your Rune of ascendants and then the moment you get your daggers you go in back in here you say okay well I got my daggers I'm good for now I don't need to use any rule to ascend right now but you might make a mage later and then you might want to ascend a wand for example you get the idea use these rules as you need them if you don't need them don't use them not a big deal every double exalt will show up again just uncheck I I selected every AIX here because you never know what's going to happen with a double exalt uncheck any classes you're not playing you're sure you're not going to play for the cycle show every unique item we want to see everything we don't have very good filtering for like legendary potential and stuff if they make the loot filter better I will come in and I will redo this uh I will redo this and I'll make it better if I ever do do this in the future I will probably make a new video showing how I made it better but I will also go back and update this link or maybe I'll just delete the video one way or another if this video stays up if I edit the filter in the future and make it a lot better if the video stays up I will F I will update the link for you show all experimental exalts we talked about this before when you have an experimental AIC and it's an exalt of any kind then you can do some Godly things with crafting on it and slamming that uh experimental onto your items so as long as got an experimental and the item is exalted you're going to want to take a look at it okay now here's the final part and this final part is might look daunting but it isn't you want to go through for your different builds and take the time to fill in what you think are the best things that you're actually looking for in some cases you might want to copy something maybe there's multiple different weapons that you're looking for but for example let me just give you an example say I'm playing detonating Arrow Marksman and I'm going to play a frost claw Rune Master go to best weapon and it just says add the weapon base in the t7 affixes this is easy so my best weapon is a dagger and the affixes for that dagger are Critical Strike you're going to notice I tried to pick some of the best generic aexes for all the slots like Critical Strike multiplier hybrid Health stuff like that if that ever drops whenever you see something drops that's red it means it's Godly something drops you it's like oh it's time to either put this on or it's time to go craft is what that means you can change the colors if you don't you don't like the colors that I made change them not not a big deal so I have a dagger and the best slams for me are crit multi that's already on there and it's melee lightning damage so I would just add that and the way the way that I would figure this out is from my guide if you don't have a guide and you don't know what you're looking for well then you don't have to fill this out yet until you figure it out not a big deal but if you know ahead of time I need melee lightning on my dagger and then I also need um let's say chance to shred armor so let's tell shred armor ailments chance to shred armor boom and that's it now whenever I'm playing and a red dagger drops a red dagger drops I know that this is a t7 of one of the absolute God stats that I need remember I'm also playing a frostclaw rune Master Copy the rule for another weapon this time my Rune Master might not want a dagger he wants a wand dagger out wand in and then I look at the affixes and I go through the same process I pick all the best things that I want want and now I've got a best weapon for my um Rogue and for my Rune Master you go through the same thing for all of these things for your helmets you might say all right so you don't need to copy this rule because the base doesn't matter on the slam so you can just keep it like this just add all the affixes for your run master and for your uh Marksman so the Marksman needs the dagger increased dagger so I'd go increase Critical Strike per dagger just like that and then my Frost claw might need hybrid health and I already have hybrid Health selected should already have it if I scroll up here hybrid Health hybrid Health doesn't roll on a helmet but one of these health things health is the best rule oh it's already there if you think of another aex that you really want you would throw it on there it's literally just as easy as that and once you have filled it in for all of the different item slots for all of your characters it's done this is your Universal filter from one to 100 for all of your classes for all time if you ever want to make a change you just open it up just say oh you want to know what I'm not playing my rogue anymore so uh I can get rid of this rule um I can just delete it um I don't uh I don't need the dagger anymore at all oh but I'm still playing my Rune Master I'll keep this one you can pop in here and say oh you know that AIX that I wanted with the daggers I don't need that one anymore okay and remove it da d da you get the idea it's like a living breathing loot filter and this should work very very well for you I want to show you one more trick so if you have the loot filter on let's say I'm running around with all of these Idols with all of these Idols checked and I'm playing the game and I get I get so many different Idols all the time right I got so many idols I got this one I got that one I got this one I got that one okay and I got pages and pages and pages of idols and then I say you know want to know what I got too many pages of Idols this is overwhelming I need a way to clean up my stash I got to clean up these five tabs and consolidate them so first thing drop all your idols on the ground okay and first of all you can already eyeball it you can see that any anything capitalized is very very good and anything that's not isn't they're just kind of mediocre what you can do is go to your loot filter and remove these rules that take away the decent idols and there you go look I'm filtering my stash very very easily these are going to be the best Idols for me to keep grab some more give me all these da d d da drop them on the ground and anything in caps will be very very good for you and anything left on the ground is very mediocre you can use these rules later on to actually filter your entire stash tabs then you could consolidate five of them down to one when you're very very rich on the aexis but in the beginning I would just start with everything on and then start to peel away some of them once you become rich clean it all up anyway that's it guys this is uh my complete Universal loot filter again start from the bottom read up anything in caps lock gives you the instructions on how to deal with it uncheck after 20 glyphs of insight uncheck it when you're rich I'm rich add my build specific stuff okay my stuff for my Marksman stuff for my run Master uncheck it when you're rich uncheck The Unwanted classes I play all the classes no big deal and you go up you add your best and Slot stuff and it should work beautifully post any questions down below I'll be looking at the comments for this one I will help you it's on paste bin one more time control a to for select all contrl c new filter paste and it will paste it in for you give this a try let me know how it goes try it at level one try it at level 50 try it at level 100 remember these rules dynamically follow you as you level up and they will turn off at certain levels that should be about right to make it more and more strict at any point in time you can make your loot filter real strict take stuff out of your stash drop it on the ground and watch it kind of filter you can hold X to make sure that it didn't actually drop something you really want and you should be blasting on last Epoch made this guide because a lot of people were asking me I really hope that this
