Cool listen. Some good shit in there about Thug Luv, Notorious Thugs, the Migos bullshit, and Mariah Carey.

Love Krayzie. He’s the one with the most sense.

Loved this interview, I started listening to bone in 6th grade. Crazy, not knowing any of the stuff that they where rapping about but there flow and melodic, fast rapping sung To my soul. Made respect for bone thugs.

[Music] kill them okay [Music] i don't know [Music] [Music] what a good b hopefully it's what it should be it's your boy n-a-o-n-a-a what up it's dj efn and this drink chance [ __ ] yappy hour man [Applause] hey i get the asteroid lee um and right now when we talk about legends man uh this is one of the brothers one of the very few brothers who got records with biggie smalls tupac big pun and easy holy moly guacamole not to mention mariah carey luke john all types of hits with all other people you know chamillionaires his own hits his old goddamn hits this was every first of the month you're supposed to hear this record so so in fact every 30 years yeah we got to think we came up with the idea that you every first of the month we should be counting it down until it actually hits the first and then the songs just come new year's eve everybody's but in case y'all don't know this is a legend of legend out here monkey foot in the game we heard he got legal lean that's not lean but it's like lean but it's not lean you know but it gets you leaned in case you don't know who the [ __ ] we talking about we talk about crazy [ __ ] ball [Applause] what's up now i i want to get straight to that to that point uh there's not there's not a lot of artists in this world that can say they work with big and pop yeah yeah just just that yeah man then there's not an artist i can say i worked with easy e yeah and big pun holy moly guacamole so let's start obviously i i looked at the documentary looked at you know googled everything did you guys really get on the bus to meet easy e man got on a one-way greyhound bus and i was wondering was it greyhound yeah greyhound okay okay okay y'all had a meeting set up though no bro we had nothing what happened was uh flesh okay phyllis was actually going to school out in county and he was going to different parties and he was like man i'm running into so many celebrities out here this is where y'all need to be like l.a yeah okay okay like so he came back home and you know like we just started hustling we started hustling to get one-way bus tickets and we was like yeah we just go we didn't have nowhere we didn't have nowhere to live we were just like we put a guard here meeting easy eat it was our mission it was it was the whole plan to go get signed to ruthless records wow so you all had that already pre-meditated like this is where we want to be that was the whole thing we were like we going to sign with because because we was friends at nwa and then when they broke up we felt like easy he was the underdog right we're like so easy need the most help let's go help him you know what i'm saying like so it was like let's go sign the easy so he's easy if you know obviously i'll never get a chance to interview him so i want to ask you a little bit more questions you know he's he's in that whole meeting that whole first meeting and when y'all get to yeah yeah because because what did y'all you said you was calling his assistant yeah okay keisha anderson okay i love that you remember her name yeah hey look she she's still a home girl to this day oh wow she's still at home girl so like man we have been when we first of all we got the number four from one of our dudes in cleveland he was a promoter and he called and he gave us the number of ruthless records and we started calling every single day right and she would answer the phone like like damn y'all calling again right so then like we called one day and she was like you know what i'm telling y'all [ __ ] calling every day i'm gonna make sure eric calls y'all back today i promise you and we was like okay cool and then the phone rang and uh busy answered the phone and uh easy was like let me speak to bone and bizzy was like who was this he was like this is easy and then busy like oh [ __ ] busy through the phone to me and was like rap and i just started busting on the phone you remember that rap oh yeah you you can't kick that rap right now oh yeah let's get it let me see let's see a little bit it was uh well it's the [ __ ] the [ __ ] the [ __ ] did once again the [ __ ] they pick up they pinning they tried to get templates they go that they win this dead mac 10 there's blasting picking my gunner you're running out from [ __ ] sassing pop on my clip and you asking who in the [ __ ] was that mask man the [ __ ] that's putting the trigger right just cuz i'm slimmer they figured they bigger but when you consider a killer just pulling your cap down with them [ __ ] they're willing to pack their straps so pack your gap i see you like i've been seeing with the murder servant you're up in the cover you're [ __ ] [ __ ] getting nervous they heard that bug so [Applause] wait how old are you at this when you do man we just like uh 18. wow young because one of the things i'm sorry because one of the things that struck us immediately us from the east coast we had never heard a style like that yeah we had and then when we seen you guys with like the perms and the uh and the braids we actually at first impression west coast group exactly man and especially you guys affiliation with yeah yeah but it's crazy though it's crazy because east coast hip-hop raised us right right so it's like i know everything about every emcee that ever came out because because i was like a student of it like so i followed everybody that came out from the east coast it's just it went in wa and easy came out we related more to them in the lifestyle they was living because that's how we was on the streets in cleveland you know like so we related more to them and we was just attracted to more how they lived on the west coast yeah cause y'all was was was it intentionally um to wear dickies at the time i mean i mean that's that's what we were in cleveland oh okay like we were the flannels and clan was in the in the in the skull caps and you don't sound like we walked around like that so we're just like okay yeah we want to be what he's eating was that style like was it other people doing it in cleveland just y'all bro just us just like but i'm gonna tell you like what what made what would influence the whole style and i got a chance to talk to him and tell him this was big daddy kane whoa that's one of my favorite rappers and i'm saying like one of my favorite rappers i actually think i was a big dad he came back in the day no lie all right you got a flat top yeah okay because now i browse all the way okay i cut the eyebrows yeah so um i was i was locked up in a county jail one time and i was listening to i was watching like i think it was like uh rap city with the mayor on it and he played like a big dirty cane video when kane spent one rhyme he was like dude and he stopped and i was like yo somebody took that and did the the whole entire verse wow that'd be insane so i just like i went in my sale and they had no i didn't have no paper so i wrote the rhyme on the toilet on the toilet piece of toilet paper and i just went like and that's the same wrap i said for easy on the phone the raptor got a sign like no luck wow the toilet paper right now case [ __ ] so you talk to easy then what's what happens after that man he was like uh he was like yo first of all he was in he was in the office but i think um jerry hello was in the office and i think um hutch from my brother-in-law was in there because after i finished rapping he was like man hold on for one second hold on one second he's like where y'all from was like we're from cleveland he was like hold on one second then he walked in another room and put me on speaker and he was like say that rap again and then i said it again and i heard him in the background like damn you know something like you know like like where y'all from so we was like we from cleveland easy was like i got a show in cleveland in two weeks so i'm gonna call y'all back in two hours and we can talk right but but at the time the pre the people we were staying with the the female she leaves the house and she locks the phone in the room like is she going the whole day like so all day we hearing the phone like oh just right here nobody else could be easy we need to kick this door but we like you know we ain't got no way to live out here in their lane like so so we was like you know he said he was going to be in cleveland we went straight to hustleman we got the car in our family like yo we need money to get back to cleveland because the dude that gave us the number he told us he's like if y'all make it back to cleveland i can guarantee y'all to open this spot on the show and it was like oh so y'all in l.a trying to get with him but he's saying they got a spot in cleveland in two weeks yeah and you say guaranteed if you'll get back to cleveland yeah y'all gonna open up for whatever the guard yeah yeah so we met we we managed to get back it was a crazy bus ride back we had no money riding back but on the on on the greyhound it was crazy you know saying let me on this bus starving and [ __ ] so we get back we opened up the show and we go on stage and then easy don't go on stage and then after easing them went off we we we just blended like we was part of the entourage and made it to the back made it made it to the backstage area but didn't make it into the dressing room huh so we outside the door and yellow yellow boy come outside and be like yo man can we rap for you and he like yeah go ahead and so we stopped busting the rabbit on the phone and easy stuck his head out like yo you all the dudes i talked to on the phone and was like hell yeah that's us and he was like meet me at the hotel after this and then after that it was a wrap wow for real that's so funny and that was during the height of of the beef right already oh yeah i was just about to ask you what time is this easy because especially when you watch the movie and you see uh the turmoil uh dre leaving and dre going with sugar this is when dre is which this is aftermath it's like came out of my aftermath this is when death row was forming yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah cause drake um because because the chronic had came out right he was out in that oh great so he's on okay yeah he's on he's on death row yeah and um and easy this was a little while after easy had dropped uh the real competitive g yeah because um we we was on some of those shows with him okay at the time like what are you doing y'all was dissing dre too keep it no no no no no i mean don't get it twisted like we we signed up for it right like we was like yo bro like even even though easy told us he was like i don't want y'all involved with this because this is like people think this is a uh death row ruthless thing this is simply a dr dre easy he misunderstood wow he was like i don't want y'all like really involved with this because i mean they had plans to do other things man like easy like do what they had plans to do other things like dre and i'm easy wow you know what i'm saying like easy really wanted an nwa reunion wow but he really really in the movie that's not playing around when they said oh really he was serious about that like we you know we've seen that in the movie i thought that was just like hollywood antics i didn't know they were really before he he passed away there was nothing because when he got rid of jerry heller he started to realize you know you know like y'all met jerry heller correct yeah okay so keep it from there when he got really trying to help yeah yeah you know he he started feeling a certain kind of weight lot you know like this [ __ ] was robbing me you know what he was like you know what i'm saying so it's like i think when he saw that you know he wanted to pass the [ __ ] with the rest of the fellas man in life and it was all down man you know it just didn't like things just didn't line up at the proper time right like to make it happen but yeah definitely and did you did you get to meet uh cube and dre back then or no yeah yeah yeah yeah no no we we actually met um we actually met uh cube after easy passed away we actually made yeah dre after um no no no we actually met dre one night when we first signed the easy and we was we we performed at the uh princess club the metropolis i think was on here and we performed at that and um dr dre came backstage and he was like yo yeah so i heard y'all supposed to be the [ __ ] and even though he was beefing we was like [ __ ] doctor drake said we're supposed to be talking about his baby let's do it man oh and you gonna stick with the hard brown oh yeah okay cool cause our show is about giving people flowers can you come right past me some some rock watermelon whatever all right watermelon right here back on that thank you what you drinking my moana i'm on one all right don't drink that [ __ ] whatever you do i don't yeah don't recommend it man so our show is about giving people flowers crazy mom and we got to get you flowers bro if you're gonna take a shot gonna do a separate separate one over there okay cause that's your drink yeah you can i gotta take a shot just a little shop yeah yeah okay cool let's go let's go let's go take it down take it down take it down how y'all doing so now we spoke about easy go i want to get more in the depth of easy later but um we spoke about easy it's not only like you guys worked with big and pop but it almost seemed like you guys were the only ones to work with big and pop while they were beefing is that true or am i outside of looking in looking yeah yeah it really i mean it may be like some other rappers out there that may they may be dead you know what i'm saying but as far as i know we the only group they like got a chance to work with them like why they used to like you know why they were both beefing and everything and then we managed to stay clear of the whole yup like and this this was a time where you couldn't send the record y'all had to be in the studio oh yeah oh yeah let's make some noise no email and um sending records man you had to be there you know like puff callers and was like yo big once y'all here was like let's go let's do this with steve labelle at the time yeah okay cool yes indeed so so what happens then y'all fly to new york no no no we actually in la and uh and it was out in l.a and puff car um steve you know yo big big one the fellas on the album can they come through it was like bro say no more we there we jumped that went right over there yeah when the studio big had a set out man big head like hennessy the weed for us we went this [ __ ] session and indoors and pass the [ __ ] out but passed out let's be clear um i think this was the first time a real real east coast rapper like because he kind of m i don't know what's it called emily yeah emulated y'all like he was he was deliberately like y'all fit together perfectly like trying to sound like at first did it sound weird like cause you're like damn this east coast like and he's hitting it hard no bro it didn't sound weird at all because like actually in the um because i told you like we had fell asleep in the studio and like like we woke up no no no no big ass stevie's like them nigga's cool nobody was like yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah they're cool and then like i smoked too much weed or something but then like like as soon as he woke up like we jumped right up and went in the booth and we all went and and laid off versus like bam bam bam and big was in that [ __ ] like yo these [ __ ] just sleep on the couch and then they just went into the still diverse just like that he was like yo so he sat there with the beat he told puff he was like yo i'm gonna take this [ __ ] back to new york with me and then like so he didn't lay his verse that's what i'm saying he okay he took the [ __ ] studied it went back and and we didn't hear the versa after he passed away wow yeah yeah yeah we heard we we heard the album like when it came out and that's when we heard the verse like we didn't hear it until and you know we were sitting there like yo this is crazy like he killed this [ __ ] like i'm like yo this [ __ ] just came all the way in and just killed it for real wow okay now now moving on [Music] there's very few beats in hip hop that when i hear it i get nervous um [Applause] that's crazy yeah what was that y'all b or that was his beat who the [ __ ] was the monster uh dj unique made to be and it's crazy because the beat was for easy eat it was a beat we had actually wrote a song for easy it was called artillery shop um and we had wrote what's easy going to be no no no no no no no no no no it's easy stop yeah yeah we wrote it for him okay but um like when he uh passed and you know like whatever was going on like this he had run in the pocket out in traffic in that lane you know every time we saw him here we had been talking about like doing some doing some music so they finally got in the studio and unique was like yo this was the first bit i played and popped like that's the one let's go he ain't wasting no time yeah you could tell [ __ ] no listen to no other beat he was like that's the one let's go drop this version as it was done and then we came in later and heard him he was like oh [ __ ] put it down but busy was in the studio with popcorn when that song was done okay so yeah i wasn't no okay we were talking before you got here and he was saying about because the name of the track you just said reminded me of uh you guys wearing fatigues and you were saying how like you were surprised they were wearing fatigue before you know what's crazy report before cnn like what's the inspiration we came out in 97. we came out you know doug [ __ ] yeah i was in jail in 94 when i came out so i heard but i didn't get to feel the whole experience yeah so when i'm doing the research on you today i'm just going to go and i'm like damn these [ __ ] did all that [ __ ] before us like i had to give you a box because you know if you don't see it you think you're the first one right but from the army fatigues from you more [ __ ] smoking weeds you [ __ ] getting arrested you [ __ ] do like y'all was really really living that dog life bro really really into it man and like the the whole army fatigue thing came from us just being like we was always on like some millions in mind and [ __ ] like you know you know like going against the police just you know like it's in the hood it's it's the same [ __ ] you know like police harassment you know i'm saying so it was like he was totally against that we was like um man we were just like proactive with any anything uh to move like the struggle of you bro we was like basically like black panthers were but wasn't black panther we used to [ __ ] we used to thug that person yeah you know what i'm saying like we said man yeah i mean we've been doing that man like we we i mean we just we just wanted to wear the army for teas and we was like because we soldiers like we talked about being soldiers hood soldiers and we were like the fatigue is our [ __ ] all day so let me ask you i spoke to a promoter a while ago and this would have been out for 30 years so i asked him what was the hardest group to ever book and his first it's like on doug's army like like they could get three of y'all they'll get four y'all they'll never get old man it's crazy like like yeah man yo yo man it's just crazy man it's just like i tell [ __ ] like like being a being in bones like it's crazy it's upsets downs uh blessings it's curses right you know what i'm saying so it's like it's families real family [ __ ] real family man and that's like that's why we always come back together like no matter if we bicker if we argue i mean brothers and sisters do that you know what i'm saying but it's never nothing that serious to like that's gonna make us but like you know i'm never [ __ ] with you ever again you know what i'm saying right yeah but how hard was that like you know to hear promoters say that like to get all of y'all like oh man [ __ ] i believe them [ __ ] [ __ ] we want no easy [ __ ] to deal with like tonight and you almost play them like a [ __ ] because the thing was like we was the just like you said like we was like we was real [ __ ] like we didn't even realize the fame and like what we had accumulated like we was just [ __ ] on the streets and we was like okay we made it [ __ ] we got money we them same [ __ ] like we wasn't realizing okay y'all can [ __ ] this up if y'all don't like quit being like this you know it took us a while to like to you know because we still had one foot in the game one foot on the street right and we had to learn like everybody else it can't be like that you know what i'm saying like you got to choose one you got to shoot you got to choose a street so you got to choose this business we've been the street route right we get to try to get away from that you know like so it was like man we just like had to make that decision for real [ __ ] even for us we thought we almost had all y'all on drink champs oh yeah year two bro yeah and then something happened that day we were here we were ready to rock yeah yeah yeah i tell people man you get all bomb man [Laughter] for real okay so we got this game that we play on on drink champs it's called quick time with slime you can pick one or the other if that's what you're feeling but if you're feeling both you got to take a shot okay if you're not feeling neither you're going to take a shot okay but it's it's pretty simple it's pretty simple but we're gonna get your shot glass ready though we don't get your shot glass right we drinking we drinking with you we ain't leaving you out there in the dark okay all good we're all the way you're all sleeping on the floor watermelon cool it's fantastic okay by the way this is mama wanna keen don't drink that [ __ ] do not disrespect my homies i know i just played around dominick's finest okay nah i saw jay-z nah okay i don't like this one but on my axe big pawn or dmx shots right there brother don't worry about it damn yeah i could play along okay y'all can get your own shot okay come on i don't know where you're gonna go with this one ice cube or scarf face man come on you got it that's like getting me drunk with you tonight we're going to goddamn this should be easy for you podcaster radio podcast yeah i knew that i don't like this one either guys does he he has to pick the right way you gotta give him some easy ones this is correct that's correct don't lead him into the answer he hasn't easy or dr dre okay all right i've got to this this one keeps repeating rick ross or jadakiss jada kiss okay i don't know what you're gonna go with this one this is very political they setting you up over there they gave some easy ones but did they get you some hard ones okay biggie or yeah i'm pouring more heavy because he won't have it okay [Applause] nwa or wu tang i would say nwa just because you know yeah they raised me yeah okay for real or kanye kanye you like to dodge that album i haven't heard it yet it's a gospel album oh yeah is it it's another one you know i like this yeah let me take a shot for that all right um moving on east coast or west coast it's both both okay god damn hey man don't forget the south hey man salut cheers okay we got the stop coming up l.a or miami miami man i thought that would be though that's all right now this one keeps popping up as well and for oh this is actually good cause i've got a little smoke the lox or the migos deluxe okay and you know we got the axe wide no but i mean because they i mean they just made a lot of hip-hop man like you know that's that's that's that's culture right there that's culture but you know i just i just want to protect you because the people going to say when you say the lox is hip-hop you're also implying that the migos is not but but i'm saying where where the lox is hip-hop that i [ __ ] with [Music] except i was trying to force that into a shot it doesn't work it doesn't work okay this one i know i don't know what you're going to go outcast or ugk man sir come on come on okay all right see you guys okay nikki or cardi b nikki okay queen latifah mc light god they're almost the same people to me i know man damn you know what i'm saying i love both of them yes yes or sour diesel oh gee okay i knew he was gonna go there [Music] boosie or juvenile uh i'm gonna say bootsy one okay mob deep or dog pal mob d okay loyalty or respect uh lord i know where you're going with this one lebron or jordan lebron okay yo yo or the lady of rage lady at rage okay cash money on no limit no limit wayne or drake wayne versus 2 000 hip-hop 90s okay little kimmel foxy brown kim pop daddy versus master p p okay guacamole so what's your favorite part of the game is it making the music or performing the music uh both of those dang everything else we got shot for that day i mean yeah yeah yeah i mean you just [ __ ] everything else yeah i thought we quit but yeah yeah everything else everything else in between those two is shitty man like the business like the [ __ ] you got to deal with you gotta take the shots over the account okay yeah okay all right yeah continue continue i'm sorry yeah yeah yeah the business and you know so i find like the most fun in like creating a song and then getting to go perform for the people you know that's the enjoyment you get out this whole [ __ ] that's how you get the energy back from what you've been exactly you you said something that just touched me just now you said the business and all that i [ __ ] because you know uh tragedy who put me on right and you know me and him are great we're great friends now but you know it was a discrepancy for us when i found out how contracts work when i found out publishing work and to a certain extent you know again we're great now we're great friends but i was a little disappointed when i found out like like not that i don't want to say that he jerked me but he just did the standard industry contract as opposed to you know i'm your homie dude like you know what i'm saying like we're on a block did you ever go through something like that yeah i mean uh i mean not really but like i get what you're saying bro cause that's that's that's one thing like you know i'm tired of hearing like these like like these labels saying they black owned and yeah you know they're doing all this but they treating their artists the same way like the cycle that's not being broken you know saying it's like okay like if you want to be black owned then this cycle has to be broken like the way these artists has been treated like you can't treat your artists the same way you got treated like you posted learning but you know what i'm going to i ain't going to treat mine like that you know like just like you know what my kids have way better life than me so that's how this [ __ ] should be like that's the only way that cycle is going to get broken and these artists gonna start to flourish and turn from artists to bosses to keep putting other people on right i'm saying so it's like that that that part of the game frustrates me because like [ __ ] always want to scream but that's going independent but they ain't really doing nothing for the people they're acting some in certain situations they're acting worse than the labels that exactly exactly and they take an advantage because you know you could you could actually say you're my homie you're my family like when you say you're black owned it's easier it's easier to trick me you know what i'm saying when um exactly yeah but okay so all right moving on we talked about the first of the month not in depth right what the song no we just spoke about it and the wings speak about it you [ __ ] just in the studio what make y'all say it's the first of the month bro first of all we had that we had this song like most of what you heard on our creeping on the come-up album the first ep in that second album eternal we had all that [ __ ] pre-written that's what i was about that you had everything done and we had i mean imagine the verse he spit he he wrote it in chain i know but i'm saying imagine that i imagine they had all these records already done yeah yeah okay but how the first of the month of first month special yeah because bruh bruh me me and busy we were sitting on my mama's front porch and busy was like bro i got a i got an idea for a song about the first of the month when people get their checks i was like that's dope and he started saying like it's the first thing i love so catch the checks and i was like that's dope and then i'll say that then i had to wake up wake up wake up wake up cause i was listening to the marvin gaye song one day wow and i was like yo we need to put that in there like to wake up wake up you know what i'm saying and so we had the verses and the hook before we we even met easy before we even knew easy like all this stuff we had in our head so when we used to go in the studio and they would put up beats we'd go in there like they sitting in who produced that record these are unique okay and you went and i imagined that when platinum about the game bro like crazy like she was crazy hey i broke records oh yeah yeah yeah who can't relate to the first of the month bro people went crazy on that record i was like yo like we we getting like you gotta think about it it was crack dealers anthem or everybody everybody everybody it was people who didn't like newspapers anthony everybody no that's like this is a universal first of the month everyone gets paid on the first of the month they get their welfare checks on the first of the month real talk they get that free genies that's right one in front of the nurse through the money exactly holy moly why come on let's take a shot for the first of the month man and we close to the fourth tomorrow tomorrow [Applause] okay here we go that's it we have got no more yep okay first we're gonna be taking a shot for the first of the month let's do it [ __ ] this yours what you got over there that's yours okay i got a little bit of pocket the bar is coming up over there what was the voice over there baby she's louise papa chi so first of the month comes out successful yeah hugely successful hugely successful are you guys knowing what you guys are into or this is like man we young we didn't really i mean i mean yeah yeah i mean he has success and that's your ceo so i'm sure he had to come to you and say you [ __ ] is out of here yeah oh yeah yeah i mean like in cleveland like cause when we like started blowing up like in cleveland like we was the [ __ ] like so we was like we don't get [ __ ] up nowhere else it's like just no leadership as long as we didn't sit at home like we weren't even tripping like we we weren't even thinking about how the how the rest of the world like perceived us because we were so in our bubble in cleveland just like just enjoying our success and they be like oh [ __ ] y'all signed the easy eat like when we stepped up and started doing shows and we saw the crowd reaction it was like we standing there sometimes like like yo what the [ __ ] is wrong with these people like because girls was like tripping bro like girls just like passing out like this you know in the black community you got good hair you like hot you [ __ ] got good here you got india in his family you think it was too much too fast did you all expect it to happen that quickly hell no we didn't expect that [ __ ] they like that was grinding years before that hell yeah yeah but they were still real young that's what i'm saying it's like it happened kind of quickly in that time period i mean the the grind for us was a long time but then when we got we finally got with easy like somebody that could really take us there the [ __ ] was like bam bam bam right one day we was in the studio the next day he called us like turn the radio on your song was on the radio and it was like and we was in l.a we called them up for us in cleveland like we didn't we on the radio in cleveland they like what were y'all talking about like we on the radio listen turn this [ __ ] up they're like oh [ __ ] why are they playing in cleveland y'all ain't made it yet they're both saying he was only playing in cleveland no no no no in l.a in l.a and you're going to cleveland and tell them right sounding like [Music] when you first heard your record on the radio was that the situation you just described yeah yeah yeah yeah so we was in a hotel he was in a hotel room in california and i'm not snooty i was a little out of control i was hanging out in the snooty fox man i knew i knew i wasn't in the right place man but i was there i was dead i was there with the crazy west coast look at that so what hotel you was that man i forgot man cause we stayed in so many hotels out there but we're in the hotel and easy call us like yo turn on the radio and we turn the red did the the little clock radio we turned that one for going and turning to the channel that [ __ ] was like it's the darkest rugged we like yeah we told that hotel room up something like that like rock stars for real tow it up like yo this is our song on the radio bro we made it like the tv the ironborn oh yeah yeah i love rockstar stories no cocaine involved though right no not a little okay okay so boom you guys just did approach of the month what's the second single off that album the second single of the album was um we did um it's 1999. eternal yeah okay that's in my notes yeah that's right that's how you know because okay again i'm from 97th street 97-30 57th avenue the block that we hung in when i came home from jail was 99th street so when [ __ ] are saying east 99 we claiming y'all like a [ __ ] right here [ __ ] we're like 9th street we just don't know him subscribe to people from new york from uh la that has never been to east 99 tell them what is east 99 i mean east 99 is you know is a spy man with that's pretty much what we did all of our like all our dirt at you know that was that was that was the street light we claimed although i lived all over sinclair like i lived all i've lived on sinclair my whole life but like i was born on i was born um i mean i was raised on 93rd street but then my mom moved to 99th when i was like 16 17. and you know i'm saying i started cooking with them dudes over there and you know it was just like we just started claiming it we we called the street to double glock we we we shot blockers of non-glock yeah i get it yeah we got the double people like yeah we on the double glock you know what i'm saying we we shot we shot the street lights out so the police would never ride down our street they were right they would ride to the end of our street shine the lights down and keep pushing um when they came already when they came we just stood behind trees and poles like you know what i'm saying like when they flashed the lights and they kept pushing they never saw us like so it was it was it was it was a craz and then like we had like a field we called it the bone yard we used to stand there like when it was cold in the wintertime like burn bear was like to stay warm while he was out there hustling you know saying police used to come every time chases put our fires out and said like they leave we come back light the fire right back up do our thing you know what i'm saying like jesus so now hold up but he said you said bonjour so how did the name how did y'all come up with the name bone bone touching harmony yeah uh man at first i mean when we was in when we was in high school junior high school together we formed a group called the band-aid boys i just wanted to show you i want you to show you i'll do my notes my history you have the band-aid look bad [Music] no no it was um in junior high school it was me flesh lazy and another dude named kate chill he was a local artist in cleveland like you know what i'm saying like and so and so we was uh after after junior high school though like you know that all this matter we started hustling you know what i'm saying you know lazy had caught a case he got locked up he went they sent him over to texas to live with his parents you know when he came back he was like yo man i was down there in texas i clipped up with some [ __ ] and we had this little thing called it was called bone enterprise and i was like oh okay and he was like we all have bone names and lazy bone was actually busy bone at first you don't say crazy he was like yeah he was like my name was busy bone dude was doesn't search bone with certain sudden smoke he was like i think this should be our name bone enterprise because we family and we still have a bond name and i was like okay i'm crazy bo and then he was like i'm lazy bone and from that point it was only us two it was only crazy and lazy that's why our name's ryan because like we was the foundation right like we entered titan shows together [ __ ] called us kid and play crisscross because we was light-skinned darts again [ __ ] lay had to hide the high fade i had the short pain pepper though yeah it was just me and lay and like um as we went on you know what i'm saying um when we got to high school we met busy we met busy bone and uh he he used to tag along with us and like uh leigh never wanted to let him in the group they was like because busy always wanted to be in the group and they was like i don't know if we should let that little [ __ ] in the group man let the little [ __ ] in the group man come on you know what i'm saying like and labels like one time we did a talent show and we want we we qualified to the finals and then we let him get in the group and yo after that and after that we was rocking it was us three he was he he was busy bone it was lazy bone busy bone and crazy bro and you know which wishbone is uh flesh and bones and lazy bones cousin okay because flesh and lazy is brothers okay you know saying so he their cousin yeah so um which was just always around like which was a street [ __ ] always was kicking in those and doing all type [ __ ] you know what i'm saying like he was just like real real like street [ __ ] like for real and um so he wasn't really tripping off rapping until he saw how serious we was and when we started leaving the streets alone he was like yo i want to do it too and he was bullshitting for a long time but he finally got serious and then fleshed it flesh joined officially joined bone after he brought us out to la when he told us this world what you know the l.a where is that like so yeah so i uh no not mo though because it seems like bone dogs was the come out group right but old dog was an actual fan then you have an office yeah bro all that bro bro everything like i told you we had all those songs written every our whole [ __ ] we had mapped out we was like when we make it we had a whole camp we said when we make it whoever makes it first in our camp we said whoever makes it first we're going to come back and get the rest of the people we happen to make it first in our camp right so we went back and got everybody we got everybody that that was down with us you know what i'm saying like so we like we had this already planned we already had plan when we get on we're gonna go get them we're gonna put some solo albums out i mean uh do a few group albums and then start doing solo hours we had all this planned already wow everything like for real jesus papa jesus make some noise now i'm bouncing around a little bit [Music] i'm coming oh i'll come back to this one right there but one of the you you have so many universal records so i'm gonna get to one of them and riding dirty [Music] to this day everybody getting their car that's real and they know they got a little something a little something shout out chameleon there you go shout out they put on and look and especially when you like riding legal dirty because you know this is this is a dirty dirty mm-hmm and it's like illegal dirty like you got your gun is registered but you still got illegal marijuana exactly so you got a license but you still pump the record the same way [Music] gun licenses not marijuana right now let me just tell you something tdk tgk tgg and i gotta go there any day before i'll tell you what they do they put the ac up oh yeah yeah it's called the [ __ ] it's like that's how the ac is up it kills the germs it does that's how you know you're in a [ __ ] up jail it's cold that's the science it's cold they don't kill the muslims don't kill them okay so boom [Music] come in is on fire he's doing his thing but he called you and he said i want you to get on this record does he send you the record do you get in the studio together how is this bro he sent me the re like he sent me the record for his project even came out i didn't know who the [ __ ] was like like i i simply did the record on the strength of the producers which is playing skills playing skills yeah like that was my little dudes you know like we they came on tour with us i watched these little dudes hustle and come up from nothing real hustlers you don't sound like so like they i was in um they brought me they actually brought me out to do the song that i did with demon them and dana howard the uh freaks you know so they brought me out there and when i got a record yeah yeah freaks in the morning yeah no no no no no no no no no no no they brought her in and they did like a remake of not a remake of her song but they made a song called freaks and brought her in because she had those oh okay yeah yeah but yeah so so i was down there doing that song and it was like yo this is this dude out here just like really like heating up out here like locally like this dude's like blowing up and he a huge bone fan and he wants you to get on the verse okay so yeah cause you said orlando they're not from orlando they're from texas is dallas yeah they ain't in orlando but they're from i don't know are they from texas though yes dallas okay okay okay okay my bad yeah and so um so they was like yeah dude once you get them so i was like cool yeah let's do it bro i went in here and done the verse on the strength of the love for them i didn't even think the song was gonna come out wow like i know so many like features before the song never come out i'm like okay i just do this and never come out cool so i did i went there and laid my verse like and like at the time it was just a hook on the verse so that's why if if you listen to the verse he's talking about he's not rad and dirty i'm writing dirty in the [ __ ] so that's what it was and then like uh so the song was like like we did the song and like a few months later playing skills call me like yo bro like this um like this dude is really blowing up with his first single he's like yo he getting traction out here like we might be calling you for this video i said bro call me whenever you know i'm down so like few weeks went past and it was like yo bro this is on the radio the song you did we need the video so they they pay for me lazy and wish to come down he'd be in the video we can't got in the video if you want like a month after that they're like yo bro i need you to come do these all these big shows you don't i just do this dude i'm there i did it then he'd come and say bro i didn't come to the grammy awards we nominated i say bro you [ __ ] like you say bro we won i say what he said no we won i was like what we won that's a good shot for that i'm sorry real talk [Music] so in my intro when i introduced you i forgot to say grammy award you absolutely did i did say grammy no no you forgot i forgot yeah so let's just take a shot for grammy award winner i lost every time i went to the grammys just so you know me i heard all right i hate the game at the player yeah [Laughter] so you win a grammy yeah is this your first grammy or no no second one first i went with uh bone for crossroads yeah i was getting into that yeah yeah yeah yeah and then this [ __ ] is a good into interviewer yeah yeah they've been answering my questions before i asked me i like that noise for that okay but i like i like the flaw so your second grammy what's what happens to your second grammy i mean [ __ ] man it like and this was like at the point where people was like oh we're having a bone and then like it came with this song and it's like mariah came on you [ __ ] up my notes no no no no no no no the whole thing that set it off was the whole thing with little john too i gotta hear him saying [ __ ] he's [ __ ] on my nose i'm just saying i'm just saying though little johnny you're too good you're too experienced too experienced okay okay [ __ ] it let's go with little john i don't give a [ __ ] that record is crazy yo yo bro that [ __ ] still make listen i'm gonna be honest i'm gonna [ __ ] how old you get mm-hmm you're going to the county that night right you gonna push i was living in miami at the time like when i did this record and i was [ __ ] we was debating did you still live in miami oh yeah yeah yeah yeah i'm [ __ ] with my [ __ ] disco rick that's a legendary all right right there that's my homie that's my dude right there you know what i'm saying so i'm messing with this school rick so when i come so rick told me i'm at the house rick called me like yo come to the studio john wants you on the song i'll say he he said mr golden mystical just lay the verse killed it whoo so i go in there i go in the studio and i lay the verse john likes we this is a singer i mean okay yeah she just called me for the video whenever like like a month so later he called me down in atlanta to shoot the video bro and that [ __ ] like was like yeah out of here and it was at a time the bone was on solid mode so people was like oh you know what i'm saying so then like mariah come calling for like a remix this is not before your solo on loud is it uh no no you had already done your stuff right yeah yeah yeah yeah because that that was also hold on can we get into mariah too okay make sure we get back to hawaii but that was also a question i wanted to ask your relationship with steve griffith and i guess he just alluded to that that was just yes because everything else was on ruthless yeah but your solo was on loud well my first solo record was on um flag mentality was on relativity records relativity okay yeah but loud they they didn't fall out took over yeah mlp everybody went over there and who was the ceo of relativity at the time was it alan graham black and cliff catrell okay okay he he hired us today i haven't been around for a minute that's the only way yeah yeah yeah definitely yeah man but yeah yeah um yeah for sure and then how did you migrate into uh steve rickman and live because uh they took over the company yeah they folded into it actually uh you know um [Music] it was like it's kind of it's kind of like where it was steve rivkin like when i see him like he cool you know saying but it was a lot of stuff that didn't go right with that project that should have happened that really like let's talk about it loud oh yeah okay so here like i i really don't feel that like steve ripken really understood the dynamics of bone yeah and and i tested like i tested them one time because i'm like you know what's your favorite song and of course if you say crosswalk was your favorite song you just on top of the surface bone thing you're not really right you're not really like you don't seem like a bone fan you just know what what what our best records are really i mean what our most successful records are so like you know like so i i knew they didn't really understand the dynamics of bone thugs and harmony and what we and who we were and you know it was just like it made bruh it it just pissed me off one time they they ran an ad one time for my album for my thug on the line album and under it was a bunch of scribble scrabble like literally scribbled wasn't even words but it was a bunch of alphabets like didn't say when that album i'm like yo son what is this i'm like it was crazy like so and then and then when when i got word that loud was going to fold before like i got word from my attorney like yo i'm getting word the loud is going under and you're in the middle of your project so i go to steve rivkin and i asked him i said yo bro like is this true he said what no not at all no no no no two weeks later they folded i'm like and i'm like you know i'm saying i'm like bro i did just keep it real with me like all the i'm not a soft ass [ __ ] just tell me what the truth is right i can handle it for real like no lie and it was just like that you know what i'm saying like so every time i see him every now and then he said you know i owe you we gotta holla but i ain't tripping it's got deep right now oh yeah it did you don't think it it was ever because they inherited too many artists from the relatives oh yeah that was probably they were just over they didn't yeah they didn't that was probably they were wrong but but but i feel like they had the opportunity to let the ones go it wasn't that you know what i'm saying like i think they just kept me just for the building right because crazy bone bone throws in harmony that's going to sell some records because i worked the streets for a lot at that time we worked your record he was on the streets he was a young kid he got the vinyl right there and and i know that i'll just find him [ __ ] come here you got it right there sean we real friends over here yeah we was we had we was working the record so but i remember it was too much my home girl was just right here what what what veronica go she was there like the whole time like she used to work for loud like at the same time i was remember buddha that was working yeah yeah that was the the street holy [ __ ] y'all real hip-hop right now i like this [ __ ] i mean that's the industry side of this working the marketing [ __ ] holy [ __ ] so so basically you [ __ ] with steve but you felt like there was things that could have been done better yeah absolutely yeah okay definitely for sure you know yeah for sure but i mean for one you know i had a i had a single on that album with shot a man that's crazy has never no it doesn't know what a rapper ever ever how did you get that and she cleared this song not only did she clear the song she gave me she she she um gave me the footage to her song to put her silhouettes in my video so she was actually in the video and like she don't she has never done it before and she never has since then like no lie i'm not gonna lie you went pause no but wait wait wait no no no no no no no no no no no no no we learned something on drink champs and i don't know if it applies to you someone was telling us that after a certain amount of years all the rights of your of your music and revert back to you cameron told you about that that's not what he said he's no no no no but i'm just wondering if that's not doesn't happen in this church [Music] original record yeah she gave me a she gave me original footage from her video yeah this isn't what that this is no that's yeah that's crazy she gave me no no no i'm sorry i'm sorry it was that mama been laid off yeah ain't working papa bended off that song right there that's it right right there right hard time hustling yo and i found out the reason that she really cleared it is because at the time her husband was a huge bone fan and when they went to it he was like yo clear this record trust me clear it and she cleared it and gave me footage of her in the video and it was like yo there was like we did not think we was going like and and this was steve rivkin and they were like we did not think we was going to get this record clear at all and it was like this is amazing for real so we running with it so so do you own the stuff now oh yeah i want the masters to to to those records to my first solo album and my segment okay on the master though so that is true they all revert after cinematic oh yeah oh yeah after after 30 years oh yeah so and this is something and this is and this is something artists need to know like read your contract because the artists read these contracts and they think like when they need them labels it's a wrap you can just leave your stuff over there no like there's clauses in there they legally they can only hold your masters for only so long but you have to be on you have to be on point because if you missed that date to where they revert back to you then they got a chance you got it right you got to do it yeah and that's what we doing right because you see deal our soul got their masters back there exactly exactly all these artists can do that forever so is that something that bone is doing it collectively collectively yeah wow that's beautiful for sure that's beautiful because it was ruthless relativity ruthless regular relativity sony colombia all of them crazy [Music] for real yeah yeah y'all was that was what y'all have a lot of labels kidding me yeah man i mean we haven't really been on every like we've been on universal interscope sony columbia like we've been like like around you know what i'm saying so it's like we know the game and it it popped everybody up exactly try to bring the terminology finger popping back you know what i'm saying like just the terminology not the actual finger popping you know what i mean but the terminology like you know you hit second base [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] got real yeah [ __ ] soccer [Music] i hate soccer man i hate soccer i don't know i don't like um like i don't like i don't like you like soccer you don't like soccer keep it real clean y'all [ __ ] like baseball no no no i mean no i don't know you don't [ __ ] with suck crazy one don't tell me i be trying to watch it man but they say be frustrated like [ __ ] get way down and don't kick the ball i'm like god damn [ __ ] it'd be a three-hour game for two points then the ball goes way back down what's wrong with these [ __ ] my [ __ ] yeah look look come on you don't focus there's no disrespect but i just can't watch this [ __ ] hockey either that [ __ ] take too long i just watched this [ __ ] on holiday like a [ __ ] you shouldn't sit on hockey on netflix um it's called the untold story of hockey mafia [ __ ] and hockey [ __ ] mafia she is oh [ __ ] it's hard that's why they fighting in that moment yeah they fighting that's that's what they did dave was the dudes that invented that as soon as you you brought a whistle he just take his gloves off and just start there's no hopkins there's no sportsmanship involved where are we going with this i'm just saying i watch it on netflix i just want y'all to know like i stay home you know what i'm saying you know what i mean the points record the panther joint oh yeah man yeah y'all were all in the studio that that video was bro that was the craziest [ __ ] ever bro cause it's like this was the first time like yo this was the first time we went to that was d d studios this is so crazy bro because it's like that like what year was they did did that come out 95. bro what's so crazy what's so crazy is this is when eze had brought us to new york like this one easy like like this one that um in the movie i feel when he saw ice cubes ice cube that's what i that's when all that happened around the same time right okay i went too far remember that that story where cube saw easy in the club that was in the tunnel bro bro bro bro it was a historical night from i remember that night like this yesterday because it was historical for me because for one we would easy eat in new york never been in new york ever before wow we walk in the streets and do first of all [ __ ] buy us all leather jackets we're in this [ __ ] like like nwa for real like gangsta he don't say we like nick we need new york walking the streets with easy he's like we're going to the club tonight we go to the [ __ ] tunnel we pull up to the tunnel the [ __ ] heavy d at the front door like he the bouncer like this nigga's like what's up e i'm like this [ __ ] everybody i'm sitting here like [ __ ] this is heavy d right here [ __ ] what the [ __ ] is going on [ __ ] like yo i heard them i heard y'all [ __ ] y'all [ __ ] do your thing i'm like [ __ ] this is crazy so we go in the spot go in the tunnel we walk into the [ __ ] crowd i walk into the crowd i feel somebody like pulling my hood i turn around says [ __ ] ll cool j say [ __ ] what yo this [ __ ] ll yo yo this [ __ ] say yo big up son i'm watching y'all i say [ __ ] this [ __ ] ll cool jay just said he watching this [ __ ] so we going to go ahead and pull your shot for you go ahead pull your shirt so we walk in and uh we walk in like behind eat and like ice cubes in the club and this is when they was having beef right right right so so we thought right right we we in the club yo we like oh this would go down and just be like yo that's cuban e his body go down yo these [ __ ] saw each other boy was like these [ __ ] ain't seen each other in years like long-lost brothers like oh [ __ ] what's happening hugging like kicking it and like i'm like so that part in the movie to me was a little bit you know like i didn't really see the standoff like the security got all the tests and like that was the [ __ ] saw each other and they was like brothers bro they was like yo what's happening they sat at the table we sat at another booth while him and q sat there though almost the whole night he was there chopping it up they did show that part in the movie but that was with dre no no no it was so cute cute yeah no i'll tell mom when they chilled the whole night oh that but oh [ __ ] holy moly i might be bugging okay oh man i drink a little bit and cube says the story and he says it like you're saying it that they just chopped it up and it was all love yeah that was in the tunnel i didn't know that part but in the movie i thought it was in the cali no bro that was the tunnel no i knew it was in new york that was in new york like he was like because i remember my first time going there little bill was telling me yo just the tunnel son i'm like yo yeah that tunnel's a foul place all right you know yo they cut girls too yo fat joe hello yo we was in there they were fighting girls too i was like what the [ __ ] is going on in here this is crazy i know about it brother turn up with fat joe one night my [ __ ] like yo terror squad them [ __ ] yo talk about it yo they shut that [ __ ] damn hey joey joe and terra squad them [ __ ] shut that [ __ ] down like some [ __ ] had a beef with this terror squad mm-hmm that's a good idea the squad of them just came over they did they say boom y'all [ __ ] stand right over here stay right here don't move they tow that [ __ ] up [Music] but like you know like uh like joe and like like joe and like pun then was the first like rappers like when we got in the game like there was the first dudes like really took us in like the [ __ ] took us in took us to the bronx we had joe coming to cleveland he was in our videos like so we just condemn and um naughty by nature like to this day family people church my [ __ ] that's my [ __ ] for real and one of the illest rappers is one of my favorite yeah one of my favorite lyrics is no lie he wouldn't come back he's i think he doesn't get the props he doesn't he don't that boy is a beast yeah and he [ __ ] a lot of [ __ ] too when he was up bro hey keep it real yeah yeah you know me [ __ ] bone got this let's finish this story the point is is it in dnd studios or not i don't know bro i forgot where it was but like it was new york yeah i feel like in my mind because but the [ __ ] was like bam bam bam it was the cut and paste [ __ ] before it was cut in pace it was like [ __ ] okay punch in do your verses they shouldn't have gone in this room bro we did our verse in this room and bro bro if you go back and listen to the song the four lines i use is the lines i told i i said to y'all like right here yeah yeah yeah oh yeah it sounded familiar i used the first four balls in that rack because they was rushing i was like come on come on [ __ ] it come on [Music] i've used the bathroom before efn yeah i got it it's the first time did y'all feel it like you felt it was epic in the moment yeah hell yeah bro like we was in there like yo all these [ __ ] like we rock with like i just remember standing outside like this is my most like this thing i most remember the most they're standing outside watching red man shoot his part inside that gate the little fence behind i remember standing there watching that [ __ ] like yo this [ __ ] killing that [ __ ] like god like like maybe it's red man like going in you know what i'm saying i've been watching that [ __ ] they're like this song gonna be crazy and then when i heard it i was like nick we gonna check with some legendary [ __ ] biggie's part on it like he was there when he was doing it yes everybody was like in and out like it had to be d d guys you can't check if it was d i feel like it was d d studios and that's easy mode b produce that who produced that record do you know uh i ain't sure who produced that oh yeah it was easy moby yeah and i feel like that's one of the first posse cuz of like i mean besides obviously like like uh self-destruction and drugs like that yeah that's like one of the first like that yeah hell yeah it is it is that's why i was so down with it because i was a big fan of the other ones like all in the same game and self-destruction i was like yo did y'all feel like y'all were different because everybody's i think from new york in that record yeah yeah i mean he was like outsiders in it julio cool but we did feel like we was like we was honored though we were like yo like see they know this is enough to have us on his [ __ ] like it's cool you know what i'm saying we was like yeah yeah definitely that's crazy man so this is one of the things i've been wondering so when y'all came out and you said you had the plan to go back and bring everybody on and put everybody on to the record label this is prior to even when wu-tang thought of doing their separate deals did you did you think the plan that you had held together like what went wrong with the plan at one point to a certain extent yeah yeah it did i mean the plan of them having all like like their business structure to go back and put on all the other groups yeah to a certain dogs yeah to a certain extent we did you know what i'm saying but what went wrong i think like what did you learn from that from that whole lesson you know it's like dealing with oh doing the mother thing i learned that we uh that we needed to hire professional people that knew about the business you know because like when we first started this business but like easy had died we was only what what people don't know is we were only with eze for one year and everything we accumulated from that one year we had to like put to use from us from him picking us up in his beans and driving us to the studios and we emulated all that [ __ ] with our artists picking them up like that's all we knew like what easy did for us that's what he did for us so we say this is what we're going to do for our artists that's fine but it wasn't enough because we didn't have the actual knowledge of the music business we we knew what we saw but that wasn't enough to take us where the [ __ ] we needed to be we needed to sit down and like okay paul's dead we shouldn't be trying to put an artist out right now we need to make sure our careers are steady and then come back foundation need to be safe right and then come back i feel like we done everything like premature because it was moving so fast we didn't have a chance to learn what was what who was who don't do this don't do that and i think us losing easy i feel like he would have told us that he would have showed us that the mentor right so like we didn't have no after he passed away we didn't have no mentors it was just us we was mentoring each other and you have seen crossroads after that right yeah yeah definitely was that what the inspiration was i mean yeah the inspiration was like i mean the first crossroads we made if people don't know like we did a crossroads original one that was on our album and that was for one of our homies that passed away in the hood he was actually damn near a part of our group you know brown skin dude no no no no you know you know how you have a dude that's like he's not in the group yeah but he helps you do everything to further the group that was that dude i think he's in the documentary that y'all made and um yeah yeah yeah yeah you might be bro there you go and he like you don't seem like he was always like like supportive gave us right he made sure we made all our shows like [ __ ] y'all know y'all got to make it come on he was that [ __ ] so he got killed trying to break up a fight you know i'm saying he got killed and um so we did the song for him but after we got after easy signed us like we had to start losing like a lot of our people like wishbone uncle charles got robbed and killed you know what i'm saying uh i mentioned him on the record lazy bone lost his child god bless you um my cousin my cousin was murdered one of our closest friends was murder and this is my brother in the cleveland area yeah my brother-in-law was murdered and every last one of them shot in the head every last one of them except for lazy's unborn child every last one i'm shot in the head nobody never found for the murder so he was like yo he's like yo bro we we get on and we doing all this positive stuff but all this negative [ __ ] is happening to us like we like the [ __ ] is going on so we like we got to pay homage let's remix this song and pay them homage like we didn't we didn't do the song trying to win grammys or we just like we doing this song for the people that passed away right and for us to heal and their families and actually just this was like what does crossroads actually mean what does that word actually mean i mean crossroads like it's kind of funny because like you know like when we did this song it's like like it's the summer crossbow is actually like you're going to see the person again and some crossroads or something like a road you're going to cross together but had i had i had the knowledge i have now i probably never would have made the song really because i don't i don't you know what i'm saying i don't like subscribe to that yeah yeah yeah i have a because you really need a lot more knowledge right now you understand what does illuminati have to do with that that's that's what i would wikipedia you they say you you you like illuminati or you you think [ __ ] don't like them you dig [ __ ] and rappers in illuminati oh no what no i have nothing to wikipedia the illuminati wrote that [ __ ] nobody wrote i think the illuminati is the most i think it's [ __ ] and propaganda bro like because like how come how come when [ __ ] make money they got to be some party they got to work i'm like why can't [ __ ] just make money and just making money because of what they do i can't be smart why are they going to be part of something i just killed somebody yeah i'm saying that conspiracy is the conspiracy yeah like like and that's conspiracy like i ain't even like on my podcast like i went down the road a lot of times but when i started doing the research i was like my [ __ ] i'm not about to go off speculation i'm only going off facts y'all [ __ ] speculating all day i'm like show me the facts and we were talking about i feel like we gotta take another shot for that i'm just doing i'm just throwing it out there real quick i feel like you just want to take a shot oh no no okay so they watch my podcast okay the wikipedia is watching this is what this is this is what i believe i said on my podcast what i do with my dude out there from cali i say it like because uh they asked me if i think like rappers are part of the illuminati i was like yo that's not my place to place them there but i'm saying if people are if you are purposely throwing up signs talking [ __ ] there's affiliate that you know that is is affiliated with this organization then like i mean come on i'm like what the [ __ ] if you're purposely doing it what the [ __ ] is everybody supposed to think because i kind of know a blood sign in the [ __ ] sign i don't know illuminati sign what's illuminati bro bro i've heard that it's all bro honestly look i so apparently so apparently like it's all this type of [ __ ] that i never knew that we were indulged in bro this is what's crazy the pale hole i haven't heard the lemonade was supposed to be the good guys out there because if you look at our album covers and [ __ ] if you look at our album covers they're always some mystic [ __ ] always some crazy [ __ ] talk about bone though yeah i never knew what this [ __ ] was that you was putting out eat no no our first album we get deep and then the thunder's coming illuminati we gotta watch out tonight i'm we didn't really understand like all those like signs and symbols you know you got a ticket for it man you don't have to take it man bro what are you talking about maybe from east 99 together come on he got to work after this too yeah yeah oh yeah we is too we we going to dj's [ __ ] you know come on we didn't really understand like what all the signs were if you look at my [ __ ] uh thug mentality album bro they had a [ __ ] and this was none of my idea that was like yo this [ __ ] looks [ __ ] good for the bone who's saying this to you guys this looks good the regular label they're like yo this [ __ ] is dope like come on so i'm doing this [ __ ] not even knowing like what these horns mean none of this [ __ ] i'm like yo this [ __ ] look dope as [ __ ] it look like the bone like devil [ __ ] looks like bone honestly satanic crazy [ __ ] yeah yeah yeah i'm actually like it looks like bone sounds i'm like oh god damn it it's [ __ ] up it's [ __ ] up but i'm like it actually looks like bone sound so i'm down with it let's go let's go my [ __ ] so like years later i'm on my podcast doing a [ __ ] show about the illuminati and i'm looking up the images i'm like wait a minute it's like your album god damn it wait a minute these [ __ ] done i've been bamboozled they don't make your own illuminati what the [ __ ] is going on like yo i'm like son like what the [ __ ] is going on like all this [ __ ] matches with this i mean my [ __ ] was talking like yo okay i was tricked y'all you got it i'll keep it 100. i didn't know what it was leading me but you think people are purposely putting symbols in your [ __ ] purposely you think something yeah yeah because i think people got it twisted like i'm going to cater to this let's go i believe you're the caterer we we rap about bro ain't nothing we we don't like we can't we can't rap about [ __ ] we don't know about it it's impossible for us to go in the booth and rap about something we don't i don't even have a passion to write about [ __ ] i don't know right right so it's like i only write about [ __ ] i live i see i experienced why no [ __ ] just went through it right so like when we did this song the ouija the ouija board let's go you've done the ouija board before hold on hold on i just want to ask um you guys named the song called the ouija board yeah he did the wii u and then i know continue and what happens after this so look we had a song called we [ __ ] popping right now man yeah i watched america american horror stories it's my favorite story are we about to have it right [ __ ] man so we did a song called ouiji like we played with the ouija board at one point like in the video no no no no this this you guys just hanging out and made it like we played with the ouija board one time busy and lazy came to my house these guys yo these things came out say yo i just want to we got to talk to you i say talk to me about what we got to talk to the ouija board no no no no no no they gotta take them to do the win lazy and busy came to my house one day and said yo we need to talk i say okay talk about what they're like yo come upstairs and my my room was in the attic my room was in the attic at my mama's house so we go upstairs and these [ __ ] put out a ouija board me i was raised as a jehovah's witness so i'm already annoyed at the top [ __ ] what is that what did you do with a wheelchair didn't witness that yeah he didn't you know what i was saying i was not trying to win yeah so but being young at 16 i'm like okay come on let's play it everybody told me not to do it i want to know what they said don't do it as a kid you know what i'm saying right i wouldn't know why i said don't do it so these are people who get hooked on cocaine stories does the same exact way different thing but most people don't get killed and then they do it okay all right imagine uncle came i mean he didn't make a story about that cocaine that's true yeah so so they came to the house and they're like yo we gotta show you something i'll say okay so i'll go upstairs this is crazy right now this [ __ ] is watching the range so they like trying not to pay attention so they like um to the atmosphere and so they started doing like the this is about this is why the song starts off ouija are you ouija are you with me because we was like ouija are you with me then it was like i feel like we should have a ouija board right now listen they sitting here like they sitting here like and i'm looking like [ __ ] who the [ __ ] y'all talking to me i knew the board i knew of the boy but i'm like wait a minute okay now who the [ __ ] y'all talking to like is there somebody in here with us let me know so they like talking and they're like yo they asking the questions and like jamal and your hand was on it your fingers no no no no no no no no no i'll say so you can feel it no i don't touch it i'm looking at them to see if if they moving i'm like do you think it's trying to trick me i'm like but you know saying like it was just crazy bro like so we talk about everything we've experienced like we have some experiences with that ouija board i only ain't going to talk about it because well say you talk about everything but the ouija board yeah i'm not yeah yeah because i don't like i'm totally against all that i'm not like we done that as young kids as young stupid young and dumb kids me as a man now would never you know said i would never indulge in anything like that because i know what it brings to your life right you know what i'm saying but like at that time we was like you know like let's do it and so we experienced with it so we made the experience and people started talking about we was devil worshipers i'm like my dude like i'm like so when you talk about what you experience like you you automatically label yeah i like like the marlin mansions of hip-hop the original hardcore yeah right i'm like bro like we did it's like you know like like this week i mean we we [ __ ] with it but it was like okay this ain't for us we figured out where to come from we cool and it was just like a like like i said it was just a time in our past like something we went through you know what i'm saying like just a phase we went through and we was like okay we're done with that and we never even looked back to that [ __ ] nobody was like let's go worship the devil like ever but then they put it in your graphics oh yeah they put no no they did though because they heard our lyrics and it was like yo this is yo and this is what i feel like i feel like bone was black bald in the game because i felt like i feel like they were going to use us they were going to use us for something but when we didn't when we didn't like fall in line when they found out that we couldn't be trained or tamed oh them [ __ ] dysfunctional we can't work with them they they own drugs right who own drugs [ __ ] like well huh like what like yeah like [ __ ] use alcohol what drugs you talking about like [ __ ] ain't never used no drugs not even my [ __ ] busy and he admitted to his alcoholism he's good now but he tried to make it seem like we was just like out here just like oh these [ __ ] out of hand [ __ ] no we ain't you're not going to control us you're not going to tell us how we need to sound or how we need to move it's not going to happen it's not going to happen man it's got good segway for shout out to organic food kings yes yeah i just want to take a shower crazy right now i'm gonna be honest let's do it baby i just want to take a shot man he's gonna finish that bottle we want you listen let's just take a pee-pees after this shot hey man we we know your style bro you went before me this is the first time it's the first time i'm drinking beer man it goes right through me yo listen crazy bone just our show is about giving people they flowers you are not only a legend you're a super legend you know how they say this it's food and there's superfood like wheatgrass and superfood we like the wheatgrass rappers [Music] ah you know i got notes you [ __ ] up my notes you [ __ ] up my notes it's red cafe make sure my bread cafe out there red cafe okay you know what i want to talk about what's that economics okay we're lazy bone is that is that i'm going too far now no no that's the beginning right oh this thing says home economics wow yeah i did i ain't doing this research i like this [ __ ] oh yeah i dug deep i dug deep i cooked home economics wow yeah that's like your first song right yes no that's that's why that's why i first met lazy was in home economics class oh my bad that's what i meant yo yo yo yo yo yo no no no no bro bro that was a song no no no no no bro bro bro yeah you know bro but i'm here with you i've done my research literally home economics class seventh grade is where i met this [ __ ] like we was like are you not gonna make noise from me come on come on come on i'm a busy [ __ ] i don't know what it is that's for real like what the [ __ ] is homeback about homemaking's the class that they teach you how to cook and [ __ ] like yeah exactly yeah yeah okay yeah you don't seem like so you know what i was into i was in the science and global studies for real yeah seriously i wasn't it ain't supposed to be that's why i wasn't my favorite subject was uh pe that's it but uh yeah that's like jim yeah yeah jim [ __ ] that's it that's it and they get in play for the [ __ ] [ __ ] everything else they shoot god is coming for you [ __ ] [Music] for real come on let's let's take another shot gotcha this is a good shot i'm with it i'm gonna take a little shot you're crazy man we love you crazy thank you that's all i love baby you can't you remember you came to the uh my homie studio right there oh right but came to the studio god damn bro remember that come on come on without me bro okay we wait for you wait for me dawg oh [ __ ] that's all good i'll do another one i'm going home holy moly after this oh this rain is crazy let me just all right i know i'm changing the subject a little bit what was the subject before we don't even know let's go but bone thugs got to be the most legendary group that reached every category like y'all's top 40 top rhythmic top every [ __ ] thing right mm-hmm yeah i met janet jackson before uh no i actually i saw janet jackson perform at an awards show and i was sitting they're like yo that's michael jackson's sister son and i actually done a remix of one of her songs but this [ __ ] never came up and i don't know i mean the special remix that she had you on no no no no no uh that the producer of the song did right and i've never heard the [ __ ] again so i'm like and they was hyping but they're like yo this [ __ ] about to be crazy and i never heard nothing else about it yeah how about mj michael jackson yeah yo bro like honestly like that's the only artist that's the only artist i say that i'm i want to i wanted to work with like because that's what inspired me to get into the to do music period michael jackson was my inspiration about the zipper any other thing among any of the artists hip-hop pop r b michael jackson was the dude that like i was like generationally did that he did that yeah i like people yeah but here's the main uh question do you have the zipper jacket your jacket with the zippers i couldn't afford it i couldn't afford it but if i would a glove i made my own [ __ ] my own [ __ ] for real made my own [ __ ] [Music] when i tell you i used to dance like the [ __ ] pop [ __ ] i used to dance i used to dance like i get around i was [ __ ] [ __ ] i did [ __ ] [ __ ] i said mc hammer [ __ ] my [ __ ] keep it 100 keep 100 [ __ ] i was into the whole hip hop [ __ ] the dancing the rapping everything i just needed to picture what you're saying did you have the pants hell night you have one pair yeah you have one foot hey listen listen you went from hammer to michael i mean so i my parents wasn't having that [ __ ] like what me you can go to get school clothes [ __ ] you better be happy with that for real what about prince oh gee man bro bro we met him though huh we've had some legendary princess like you ain't smoking this whole time we're gonna get we gonna leave you guys [Applause] [Music] tell us your prince story please okay please i mean it ain't really like nothing extravagant like you know i was um flying into the burbank airport that's california yeah this was like years ago like you know yo so i um came in i'm outside waiting for my car to pull up and like people is in the frenzy like yo that's pretty that's prince and i looked out i said yo that's nick yo yo yo this [ __ ] this [ __ ] was like short in the mud for me so he's like i'm like easy yeah [Music] he had on heels and he was still short come on man it can't be platforms we'll call him heels i let my [ __ ] like like and then like like people like um i walked in i was like what's up bro like crazy going from bone to the homie he was like i heard about you okay that's all you that's all you heard okay cool that's it that's cool that's all you get that's cool that's all you get hey you know [ __ ] you heard about me i'm cool with that that's all i need to know you heard about me for real you know so i mean it was cool hell yeah i'm sorry i got to get a shot for that i'm sorry come on all right he didn't hear about us [ __ ] me he heard about the prison [ __ ] with us and he had asked the chaps out right let's just be clear what you saying ashley chaps you know what is that ass list chats that's how twin prince used to brawl come on man you're wilding right now [Applause] to the tattoos [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah crazy ball your last album you bought last album involved yeah and that wanted to listen to man okay wait and i wanted to listen to and you wanted to listen to or download it you don't [Music] i [ __ ] with the baby tough i think that [ __ ] he going through his [ __ ] right keep it 100 keep it 100. uh a little dirt you know i'm saying um i [ __ ] with lil wayne like t.i [ __ ] i mess with like a lot of dudes bro you know saying like like i just like i like real hip i don't i don't like dudes just sound like other people so what happened with y'all amigos because at some point it was like a bone thugs i i don't i don't i don't know my [ __ ] like to keep it 100 i'm a journalist that's the show a little bit that's that that's the question you would have to ask lazy bone because honestly i'm gonna keep it 100 like i i don't have i have no problem with nobody in the industry because i mean like i but it wasn't a problem no no no it's a discrepancy yeah it was a discrepancy and i feel like which i which i expressed a lazy bone like it's like bro because what was it they said i told you this group of all time the greatest the great and i'm like my [ __ ] like and i'm like this is what i'm saying like what rapper do you know it doesn't seem to the greatest group of all time in history that's the point first of all hip-hop is a is a very arrogant form of music anyway right hip-hop has been the uh very arrogant form of music from the jump like even with sick of your game i'm the best there's no rapper better than me like that's that's that's that's the gist of like hip-hop songs like you always talking about can't nobody [ __ ] with you i'm the best that's probably can't nobody see me that's part of hip-hop yeah so like i feel like it's it's kind of hypocritical when we sit up and say is that all you're going to talk about it's money and jury when the [ __ ] before all you all talked about was i'm the best right i'm the best can't nobody see me this and that didn't then the other you know what i'm saying so it's like um it's just like yo bro like we just have to respect the culture bro cause it's like hip-hop is with hip-hop ain't never been like any other genre in music it's not like that so you can't compare us to any other genre the only thing i would say about hip-hop is i wish we would respect our legends and our pioneers and more that's what we do and look out for them that's what we do way more than we do because that's the only way architects are originally just going to continue if we don't look out for the [ __ ] that started this [ __ ] like what do you think's gonna happen to you like that's what i'm saying what's gonna happen to you if you don't take care of the ones before you bro like to me like the word hip-hop shouldn't even be spoke of without knowing cool dj uh hurt her as the flash it shouldn't even be it shouldn't even be spoken though you thinking hip-hop them [ __ ] pictures should be blam blam these are [ __ ] right here right like if you need anything like if you know history of america real quick because um how did how did it feel when it felt like for one week it was amigos against bone dogs thing that week that week not not in general i look honestly i'm gonna tell you like this competition i love it cause i don't think nobody can see bone i'm gonna keep 100. and that's on just skill alone that's that's some that's that's on just skill alone bro like because we study this we students of the what people don't realize is we students of this i understand i understand hip-hop i talk to krs-1 i understand hip-hop i understand it to the fullest bro right i was a student i knew these dudes before people in cleveland even knew who these dudes were right like so i know who these dudes are and i understand what hip-hop is and i understand go ahead go ahead go ahead with me without like you know it's my friend what happened was basically i think migos said it was the greatest group of all time yes indeed busy was it busy lazy lazy good what did happen relax yeah and then and then there's this back and forth yeah it's back and forth and where where was you at your mind praying like you you you not the group just you right my mind friend was like [ __ ] that dumb [ __ ] my mind was like [ __ ] who gives a [ __ ] with them [ __ ] say that [ __ ] what i just told you [ __ ] is supposed to think they're the best what what emcee ever gotten to the bend is that you heard rap and say oh it's such and such and i think i'm the best i'm almost the best i may be the best no [ __ ] like [ __ ] i'm happy ain't cait nobody [ __ ] with me period right it's like hip-hop has always been arrogant you have to know it goes both ways you have to say the same thing we the best exactly that's the part of that's part of the question right that's what lay said he said no no [ __ ] we're not but i'm like my thing is like we own such a legendary status why even talk um why even why even speak that's true why even speak with me for it what's understood don't need to be explained right ever and that saying is so real that's why i was sitting back like okay okay say that then but if you step in the ring with me unless it's a main event you step in the ring with me that's going through that's the main thing it's going to be a different outcome let me let me let me just ask that question let me just be straight up now i'm a different [ __ ] i'm a journalist right now i'm going to axe [Music] [Music] and i think it i mean i think it'll be epic i don't think it'll be negative i think it'd be positive i mean it would be but but this is my thing i'm gonna keep on hunting come on would it be about actual skill and tell it won't be no no no no no no i'm listening because there's so many way we would accept it if it's about you guys it's going to be the strongest ruggers because i know like if it's actually about skill and talent because i know a lot of [ __ ] have got a lot of money for rapping right but is that actual talent my [ __ ] i'm keeping it 100. like i don't like i'm i i'm not trying to offend nobody but what i'm saying it's bound to i can't help that but that would be for versus to decide in a sense the audience to decide yeah yeah definitely but i'm like like but i think y'all should that would be dope if y'all did it because it would be like we coming in this as hip-hop to generate two different generations and we just gonna let the audience decide what they look well that's why that's why we could never battle because we come from a different generation our morals and standards are different so we need to be so we don't we don't give [ __ ] about money because you have all the money in the world i'm still going to [ __ ] you up it's not my money that's what i'm why this is gonna be you up as an emc but i don't care for how much money you put on the table if you ain't got skill i'm gonna [ __ ] you up as an mc bottom line bottom line that that that's that's why i think it would be a dope versus i think it'd be dope definitely real time i'd be educational versus i'm in [Music] i'm [Applause] and it was a beautiful day right before we walk in this [ __ ] that's a beautiful day right now holy moly guacamole i'm going to take another shot for you come on man let's go it's [ __ ] not backing down i'm you know i know that's something where you gonna say relax come on we do that okay okay oh [ __ ] look at look at my look at my side oh oh wait wait wait wait wait wait wait let me mess let me oh let me mess you baby guys enjoy yourselves ah yeah we cannot do that cheers brother [Music] dance right now yo listen i love how he you know that's puns favorite beer you know what's funny because what is the chord is like chords like and they really and they step to and at first i was like i don't know and then i told them that i told coors light i was like you know what it makes it is there is synergy here so now let's let's hear your punch story bro bro look [ __ ] my [ __ ] we knew this [ __ ] punt my [ __ ] we knew this [ __ ] pun when this [ __ ] yeah when this [ __ ] was just like like just like the humblest [ __ ] like like following like like i said we first clicked with joe because of steve lobel shout out a little busy month he involved everything everybody hey that's my [ __ ] for real like we yo yo when the movie come out people are going to know how much steel lobel had in bone thugs history for real bill smith real smile like he's he's real deal right now he is that's my dude bro a real brother like we me and him been through so much like good and bad to where we like can't nothing [ __ ] with our relationship right now like real talk that's my dude and i do for real you know what i'm saying so it's like um yeah man again what big part okay you're a big pun so so like like i told y'all earlier like fat joke like chair chair squad was the first [ __ ] to put us in so like we was with them everywhere like we knew big pun when he was like [Music] when he was just like trying to get on he was like yo bro when i get on i swear to god i'm y'all [ __ ] that did it that's why he on flesh and bones album that's why he owned my [ __ ] because that [ __ ] yo bro and like [ __ ] didn't pay [ __ ] nothing but [ __ ] [ __ ] like [ __ ] don't pay me nothing we [ __ ] with y'all like period and like that that's why we [ __ ] with them like that [ __ ] that [ __ ] fat joe that that [ __ ] fat joe my [ __ ] that [ __ ] is as as real as they say he is as what i know from him he always been a stand-up [ __ ] for bone he always has he always been there for [ __ ] my [ __ ] like for real like he always been like no y'all ain't like even when we had this little beef with like wu-tang and that [ __ ] jumped off that [ __ ] was like he he he was the only thing standing in between us and them clashing he said it's not gonna happen it's not going to happen these bone [ __ ] my [ __ ] y'all my [ __ ] it's not gonna happen and joe is a real [ __ ] for that for real that's my [ __ ] for real [Music] let me just tell you something crazy that lighter money all right sorry yeah the most one of the most legendary groups of all time when i researched you guys i couldn't realize i didn't realize how much [Music] this is dramatic the [ __ ] is a part of american heart no it's perfect it's perfect it's perfect for you right now that's my favorite [ __ ] right now i watch the mirror you don't watch that [ __ ] that [ __ ] is off the chain i love that i love that [ __ ] i'm in season six right now oh you're just watching it now no i i've rewinded oh i went back to the essence tell me is it good yeah i [ __ ] with it all right cause i'm about to start i'm about to start no yeah not every season is good but let me just tell you something let me let me just be clear with you we'll be clear right take it account okay i got you so i was just in turks and caicos ah you were thinking come on then so as i was in turks and caicos right i got this little bathroom i'm in the master bedroom this little bathroom the bathroom it's a heated toilet seat i don't really appreciate it i feel like the devil because i could see i could [ __ ] regularly [Music] i've been in rich [ __ ] houses [ __ ] want to have any toilet seats [ __ ] these [ __ ] but i'm gonna eat it every morning i'm waking up there's a little white girl on a swing what are you talking oh another movie you didn't see what you see on my insta story you saw her for real in real life she's a real little white girl she's just swinging nah i swear to god and emily sonny b is just swinging she's just a little white girl so she looks like he's scared bro she's just sweating and he's still scared crazy boy we got you gotta pay attention she's swinging [Music] i'm looking like this is a this is exactly how american horror story starts exactly it's a little white girl by herself no parents so that's what i thought was gonna happen i was wrong what what's wrong what was going to happen you never seen a little white girl with no bro what was going to happen after you never watched american hearthstone yes was the heated toilet going to burn you what was going to happen yes that's exactly what it is let's make some noise from red cafe in the [ __ ] building oh yeah now they judge me everybody you want another shot i just feel like it just i just feel like it's appropriate it's appropriate one for the part that's appropriate so then how was it mariah carey called you bro did you think he was going to take her down oh he slid it in huh okay so look he's illuminati all right what you can't [Applause] man so mariah called you so yeah so like this was some different [ __ ] but we like yo yo my [ __ ] and when i tell you we were so much into our explain it but it's like [ __ ] you can't do you can do that's what music symbolizes to me right music is that place to where they say you can't do it but you really can right that's how i look at music you know what i'm saying i don't like but but like it's the toughest rugged bone yeah darkest [ __ ] bone dog [ __ ] heck come on that one dog is [ __ ] mom bro come over that was the weirdest
