watching tonight I think it's called pink lie or something but people go and you can it's a dating show but you can lie about something and tell a few truths and as you're dating that person they reveal to you what was a lie what was the truth or everyone goes on that dating show and they have a big secret they're hiding so some people it's going to be better than others like one girl got exposed for getting ten thousand dollars an allowance from her parents every month and the guy was like shocked I don't know bro I just saw a clip of it don't ask me questions we gotta start watching crazy but there's like this unspoken drama when you watch Korean reality it's all done in silence eye contact unspoken body language and it just feels more real than a western reality show because nobody says that they hate each other outright but the way that they react to them it feels so minute It Feels So Right it feels like they're not trying to show the producers that they hate this person but it's like slowly coming out that's true yes and it's so freaking good now the reality shows are actually structured so that you feel good at the end of them and iron Squad was one of the biggest Korean reality shows at the time it came out in like 2021 it was the biggest thing of the time people were freaking dying over this show iron Squad yeah can you guess what the premise is is that on Netflix I think you could watch out right now iron Squad is that like physical 100 it is even better we should start watching it tonight um that show had us hooked it's like a hundred of Korea's Fitness athletes CrossFit Runners um what was the other one it's a real life squid game competing for money yeah yeah you know so jacked oh my gosh it made me want to work out I didn't I just kept saying oh my God this makes me want to work out iron Squad is very similar to physical 100 but the whole premise is that six types of the most elite special forces squads of South Korean military compete until one of the team wins think about it like this the U.S Navy Seals former U.S Navy Seals form a team and compete against like the Army Special Forces oh my God so good and they have to oh it's like a survival game okay so they get all the former members from the Special Forces UDT which can you guess what UDT stands for this is like the Korea's version of U.S Navy Seals you mm-hmm unite defense and um I Googled it and I was like there's no way of dance for that underwater demolition team underwater Squad so basically Navy Seals then they have the Marines they had the 707 Squad the 707 Squad is inspired by double seven it's the counter-terrorism unit honey counter terrorism 007 always how many he does I'm kidding a bit and then they had the SSU can you guess what the SSU stands for Stephanie Sue unit It's So Random too ship salvage unit like it sounds so cool but it's an acronym but the minute that you know the full it's kind of weird so anyways these six teams have to compete in a few different Arenas like strength endurance teamwork look I would consider myself mildly competitive yeah you're competitive can you imagine competing with these people like I get competitive badminton oh I need to watch this this is like good and then it's like the pride of the oh the unit that they used to serve on oh yeah can you imagine the stamina of these people who are literally trained to out stamina mental Koreans call it mental is so important Mentor so important to withstand some of the most Beyond human levels of discomfort and pain and it's just been fine-tuned over the years as you've been training it is such a freaking intriguing show some of the challenges were they would have all of their contestants Don all of the gear so you're talking full military gear full armor boots weapons ammo food MREs compasses first aid kits can you guess how much that weighs 50 pounds yes so they would have to wear that and with 70 pounds of weight they would have to run through six miles of just straight up thick mud to their calves to their cows cows like to their knees sometimes oh cows so they wear a lot and they're just running for six miles and it's these are all former members that are on the show but the current members it's so intriguing and they're the coolest ones the coolest up until the 90s the government did not let most media Outlets even talk about the unit's existence so like all the mystery all the Intrigue was just exploding out after the iron Squad and there was this man who went on there and was like oh do you guys want to know one of the training activities we do can you just guess how they train like it's insane it's out of this world okay like novco right type of training I don't even know if the Navy Seals do this while everyone is watching the iron Squad and learning more about the secret of 707 squad one of the members of the show sergeant Park AKA paksumin that's his real name he drops out of the show without cause or Reason The Producers come out like literally mid-programmed to say oh he left the program because of a personal issue but that just made things stranger so there were conspiracies online of like did he say something that he wasn't supposed to say that the government didn't like that the 707 forces didn't like like what's going on does he have a Target on his back did maybe he was on a mission and someone recognized him on TV and was like oh my God I'm gonna kill that guy did he do something so a lot of people actually refuted this Theory and said well actually no because sergeant Park has a YouTube channel so it's not like this is his first time in the public eye but it is like the bigger screen compared to YouTube like most of Korea was watching this freaking show whereas his YouTube channel was getting like thousands of views I mean it's a huge number difference so what the hell is going on people were so confused and they it just added to the Intrigue and the Mystery of the 707 Squad it made things even more confusing others said it's not that deep guys it's not that deep okay so when you watch episode one these are what the netizens saying he was so rude to the Juniors of the show so maybe he got enough backlash and he decided to leave the show now side note during the first episode when everyone was meeting for the first time in Korean culture it's very standard that Juniors will bow like inside to their seniors but in shows like this like in situations like this Koreans have gotten really good at where they don't do that everybody bows to made others bow to him like other members of other squads that were younger than him he made them bow so people are like this guy's an [ __ ] so maybe he was kicked off because nobody freaking likes love is the one that you end with you know and then one day she finds a picture of herself on his phone she was asleep in the picture so like fine I mean I guess that's fine right well the picture is weird it was of her whole body while she was asleep and it just kind of had this undertone and he also wrote some words on a piece of paper and he held it next to her body while he took the picture what's the word it was like a weird ID like a website and an ID a website yeah and then she's like what is that it's it feels almost like a hostage picture of like how a terrorist organization takes like a hostage and forces them to take pictures with that day's newspaper to show proof of life or like um Reddit does that so there's um tell me why there's a subreddit for this there's this already called roast me so it's a subreddit where you post your own picture yeah but people don't want you to post like some girl you hate because imagine someone just posts my picture and everyone's just roasting me in the comments and I'm like I feel like the Photoshop nowadays so good yeah that's kind of uh I don't know yeah I don't know how it's gonna go progressing but as of right now you have to hold a piece of paper that says roast me or something so they know it's like you are specifically requesting to get roasted and not just someone is putting your picture on there to get roasted do is kind of like that it was weird but she Googles the words and her entire life starts just crumbling down okay first let's talk about the red flags though we're gonna get back to the picture so like I said the picture is what unraveled their entire relationship but even before the picture they had some weird things going on Miss I remember two months into their nearly picture-perfect Little Love Story Park sat her down and he looked so nervous so she's like what's wrong is everything okay and he's like I have to tell you something she said for half an hour she had to beg him just tell me what it's not even like he's trying to spin this whole we're in the process of separating story right he's just like it is what it is and break up with her no oh he shamelessly just says but I still want to have a relationship with you truly I love you so she's like um what she felt like it was a slap in the face somehow he convinced her that they should still stay together listen I'm not defending missey here on this one but she says she regrets it a lot at this point she felt like she was in too deep it had been two months and her whole life revolved around this man is what she said it's like this is the only person she could ever see herself with so that is like the next big shift she said once he realized that she loved him so much that she was gonna stay with him even knowing that he was married and he had no plans to leave his wife he knew that he had the upper hand in the relationship he could basically do anything he wanted so he starts acting different she said he started being really rude and he would complain about the most bizarre things like what is your biggest complaint in this relationship I'm gonna kick you under the table let's be careful you always share the best food with me and you're so stupid and then the camera's cut and he's like listen I got a whole list on my phone if you want to see it saving that as my wedding vowel you are the love of my life time goes on he starts just like demanding more and more strange things like he wants her to send him explicit photos like really explicit just straight up portrait shots of downstairs like just like full frontal and she said that she was super stressed out because she's clearly uncomfortable insecure but he just kept pushing her and it's like he's slowly manipulating her into accepting more and more unusual requests he starts demanding that she sleep with another man while he watched okay so this is a thing in Korea that is called the invited man but in the US we just call it holding like it's when a husband watches his wife have sex with another man I don't understand personally yes I don't I mean I don't care what you do yeah you could like literally pee on your partner as long as they're of age you could sit on them I don't care as long as they consent okay but um he wanted an invited man in their room and he wanted to watch which is all fine nothing's wrong with that but he keeps pushing her he keeps saying like I'm gonna invite an attractive man to come into the motel room and do things to you and she's straight up saying I don't want that I'm not in a relationship with some random invited man I don't feel comfortable with it and he's telling her well I have some and I just want to watch you having sex with a random guy so it keeps begging and begging and begging about how this is his only wish in life this is what's gonna make him feel complete okay after he has served valiantly for this country he can't even get an invited man in the motel room really and rista's life or counter terrorism and this is what the ungrateful citizens do I don't think so she finally caves and the two of them they rent this small motel room and she laid down this random strange man walks into the room she's never met him before he starts applying like massage oil all over her body and a couple minutes in she's so uncomfortable she says I I can't do this like I can't do this anymore I'm so sorry I can't do this okay The Stranger leaves and miss a thought this is a clear indication to park like hey I'm never gonna do this again clearly I hated it clearly I was emotional clearly it's never happening but after a few days he brings it back up and he's like let's try it with other guys and she's so pissed off and she's like what do you mean other guys and even out of frustration she's asking him like where the hell are you even finding these guys huh like are you are you paying them or something no the men are not being paid because they're here for their own pleasure she's like I'm even more confused like how do you even find these men like are they your friends are they also 707 Squad members like what's going on so the fight ends she ends up falling asleep and she wakes up in the middle of the night this like really almost as if someone is watching her feeling she catches Park taking a photo of her while she's sleeping she's like okay that's weird she stores it in her little memory box and later she goes through his phone finds that picture and sees that it's a picture of her sleeping and her whole body and a little piece of paper with the writing this is the picture that we were talking about so she looks it up she goes to the website she goes to that ID it felt like a dark website where you swap Partners basically and you have to post with this piece of paper like that red red that subreddit to prove this is you and this is your wife and this is your husband and if anyone wants to F my wife here's a pic of her and I swear this is my wife but my look guys my wife is asleep yeah my wife doesn't know I took this photo exactly so yeah she's totally into it yeah consenting this exactly I okay I didn't even think of that but correct yeah so clearly she didn't consent but yeah the the people on the website should have known that too but it gets worse it gets worse so she's looking at this picture and there's these men commenting on this picture asking what size clothing she wears there was another comment that was like which means like oh I'm I I can't wait like I'm anticipating yes she clicks on his ID and he has a whole page where he had posted multiple of her explicit photos that he promised he would never share with anybody else and now they're on this website being like hey this is my girlfriend who wants to do her there were other girls on the website too so she realized on his website yes on his ID so she's not the only one not only that these girls their photos were taken in the same freaking hotel that they would always get multiple girls at the same time wow so he really uses his like 707 oh my God because you would imagine see that's the thing yeah he's a catch right yeah especially in Korea like these crazy Special Forces maybe even more so than the US they're crazy yeah it's always like the least expected um because you imagine if they're like protecting our nation yeah yeah it's like imagine a FBI agent is yeah doing this like what yeah right Navy Seals doing it like this it's insane there's other victims and a lot of them were in the same hotel room and she's disgusted so she leaves Park and she threatens to take him to the police and he basically mocks her and says oh yeah what am I gonna get punished for and who's gonna punish me Jesus Christ no way he said who's gonna punish me so it felt like there was nothing that missey could do and she just had to move on and then one day she turns on the TV sees him and he's just so Shameless so she reports him and even reached out to true story which is an NBC like show NBC's like a huge Network think CNN Fox um whatever and it investigates all of these different controversial topics and people of the time so they could be celebrities they could be influencers YouTubers anyone you get it and that is why he left the show he found out that they were going to run an episode on him and he left before the backlash hit okay so did they run the episode oh yeah oh yeah and it was Dad miss a was not the only victim that came forward there were others Miss B said that she had a very similar experience to missay and when they first started dating he was so good so good like just emotionally sucks you in makes you feel safe makes you feel like you're so special and then as the relationship progressed she said it colleagues not 707 Squad but like afterwards or like friend of a friend and they're like that guy's freaking weird how so he's so strange okay so first of all he'd always come up to us and be like oh my God like oh are you dating oh I'm not dating I have a girlfriend do you want to see my girlfriend she's so pretty so we're standing around at a cafe and we're expecting like a cute little couple's photo or something like a cute little selfie of the girlfriend and boom he would hand over the phone and all I see I don't even see the girlfriend's face I just see her cupcake full frontal cupcake that's it I just see a private area that's it I don't even see nothing else I mean I was so shocked I just knew that he wasn't normal right then and there he also talked about how he was really into swapping and he would go into great details about what swapping was he'd be like okay so here's how it works you got this couple and you got this couple and then you go to a motel room and you're just like great detail it was just so you know it's like almost common sense that you wouldn't bring up something like this in the settings that he brought it up like there's a safe space for every topic but this was not it like you're at a McDonald's line sir other acquaintances said that Park would just randomly text or email them naked pictures of women they also interviewed former 707 special forces units and they said that he was weird even in the Army he would show comrades seniors Juniors doesn't matter he would show them videos and photos and his seniors scolded him multiple times to grabs his phone and takes a picture of him he's like what are you doing sir why are you taking a picture of me I'm gonna use your photo to get test workers and I'm going to use your pictures to get you in big trouble so the two start arguing and in the heated discussion both of them leave the bank and on the way out Park bounced him on the head with a helmet to straight up assault so he was like I didn't even I don't even know who the guy was he just straight up assaulted me that comes out and apparently this violent streak started when he was young the more true story Doug the more people were like oh my God you're finally talking about this guy let me tell you about Park they stated that he was a bully in high school and middle school and he wasn't even like a good bully okay I don't know if that's a good way to say it but he would go around using people as a as a personal punching bag and even though he had this insane temper like he would fall off the handle at random moments but if there was someone two inches taller than him suddenly his temper is controlled suddenly no temper who's got a temper not me you got a temper okay so he's one of those oh my God so clearly he picks on women and people who are physically smaller than him yeah oh my God the worst yeah he's the type of guy that would only pick a fight if he's a thousand percent certain he can beat the [ __ ] out of that guy sometimes they said that he would go over to your house make you get naked and he would just humiliate and curse at you as a bully yeah it was bad now during the production process miss a posted on Instagram asking if there were more victims out there and park realized that she was talking to producers immediately starts texting her about how he wants to talk to her in person she's like are you out of your mind that's the last thing I want to do is like meet you unhinged violent man in person but she ends up with meeting with him unbeknownst him she was um miked up and the production teams were hiding recording the entire thing and park is trying to apologize he's coming up with every excuse in the world blaming everyone in the world but himself he said he was emotionally unhinged because he and his wife had divorced which later comes out to be false they are not divorced also meanwhile he still has a wife yes dude what so he said he was so sorry but he keeps trying to rewrite the narrative he's like but you wanted the invited man to come and she's like no I didn't and he's like yes you did you told me to post it on the website and she's like oh my God no I didn't he's just straight up trying to Gaslight her it was redonkulous so anyway miss a knew that he was just doing whatever it took to get her off this little true story production team apparently the whole time they were dating all he talked about was how he wanted to be famous so freaking badly he would have talk half bragged her about how he just knew that if he had the chance he would be a hit on TV he said that he had the talent the looks the background and the personality not the humility he said he had all of that for TV and misses like okay so park refused to talk to true story during the production and when the episode aired he actually started cryptically posting on Instagram and he said he wanted to stay silent on the situation because they don't deserve him to engage with them and then he posted basically saying like um the crazy dog deserves to be hit there's a Korean saying it doesn't mean you should hit your dog it's not even about dogs but it's not about animal abuse it's like the crazy dog deserves to be hit and it's a saying that's used to basically support violence it's like hey you want to act crazy the only way to straighten you out is for you to get smacked like it's almost like if you act crazy you deserve to get smacked so for someone that is known for his military background to say that it just felt very terrifying to people it's like okay I mean your smack is not my Smack like we don't have the same Smacks so I don't think you should be talking about smacking people you know what I mean more and more people started turning on him and in April of 2021 he posted the worst apology YouTube video known to mankind like two days away yes okay I don't even know if I could call it an apology video Park posted to state that the True Story by NBC is false he is being depicted as human trash and now his life is ruined he said that he's been getting death threats and that he's being treated worse than the nth room case perpetrator imagine being like Oh my God you guys you guys are treating me worse than the Zodiac Killer right now like that's wow wow I'm sorry dude I feel bad it gets worse that's just the intro okay he said he felt unfair about the situation he has to pay for thousands in legal fees to fight the defamatory stories about him he also claimed that missey wasn't actually a victim he said that she was married with a kid too so they're both engaging in an affair he said once they broke up she started blackmailing him for money and eventually she was the one that told the wife about the affair because he wouldn't give her the money and he thought okay well now she has nothing against me or nothing on me so he moved on with his life he went on this TV show and now she wants eighty thousand dollars it's a little story that he comes up with okay she wants eighty thousand dollars he said you know and she's the one that told me to post these pictures online she's 10 years older than me that's what he says and I was just you know this young kid falling in love with her and she was the leading one I she kept she kept suggesting that I bring someone younger and hotter and fitter to just I don't know you know do things with her yeah yeah yeah so he said that he was gonna leave for a while to handle the situation and take a break from YouTube but um here's my bank account number and it's gonna cost a lot to fight these legal fees and I'm not asking for donations because I want money I'm just saying like my life has been ruined you know so yeah he asked for money in that video he asked for money oh yeah he asked for money yeah wow he is so out of a touch like so not here empty evil thoughts and then the rest is Radio silence criminal I don't know what else to call him but the apology did not go well it's not even an apology people felt like he was trying to spin the whole story and like the most insane way possible and the fact that he was begging or demanding for money after being exposed for being a heinous person and like fine okay let's say miss a was married and she was the one that wanted the invited man we don't believe it but let's say what about the other victims what about the school bullying victims what about showing the pictures to all the other colleagues like what about that everyone turned on him but miss a was not the ultimate victim either at least in the eyes of the netizens and I'm very curious to see what you guys think about this situation but miss a went on social media after this episode aired and she said that the wife already knew about the affair and she still did not break up with the husband and they wear it together and it just felt very it felt very weird Okay and she even said that she gave his wife enough chances to DM her what and the wording that she used is very strange she said something along the lines of in the translation again is if you're Mrs Park DM me I've already given you enough chances wait why I'm so confused exactly that's what netizens were like what are you talking about right they commented back like to like that's something you say to someone that you're mad at not to someone that you've hurt because the wife is victim and you're like I've already given you enough chances like it sounds really crass it's really odd yeah so people commented and they're like aren't the biggest victims in this case Park's wife and his kids because you at one point already knew that he was married you're the same person that had an affair and people were victim blaming a lot and they were saying like Miss A if you had broken up with him after you found out that he was married none of this would have happened to you I think those are completely unrelated right he's still the [ __ ] up right but they're saying how are you giving the wife a chance normally giving someone a chance is when someone has wronged you I just can't understand why you didn't just break up with him when he confessed that he was married yeah so miss a common and she is basically try to blame the wife yeah she said that I have the chat logs to prove that the wife already knew what he did to me but she stopped responding to me and so did Mr Park she knew that there were leaked videos of victims and she did nothing bro she said I think it's also his wife's fault for hiding her husband's sins even though she already knew about it but it's my fault so I'm sorry a lot of people had problems with this because dragging the wife and the kids into the mix I mean already messed up but also why are you also blaming the wife now like you don't know what the wife is going through behind the scenes like her whole world is probably crumbling down on her yeah and suddenly you the mistress want her to like put her arm around your shoulder and like join forces with you yeah not saying that she is condoning what her husband did I don't know what happened behind the scenes but it's just like a really weird weird approach it's a very weird thought process to go through like it's it's giving I don't want to support girls but you should support me when I need it a woman should support a woman when I need it but I don't want to support you when I don't want to it's weird it's so weird so a lot of netizens were saying you can be anonymous you can go back to living your life because you're just miss a nobody knows who follow them wherever they go and in reality they are the biggest victims so I mean I don't know you're making it sound like his wife is an accomplice to his crimes but there could be a million reasons as to why she doesn't want to talk to you like you said he's so great at manipulation and it was terrifying maybe he's manipulating her right now it's not a stretch of the imagination to think about like what he could have done to his wife and also even if she doesn't agree with what he did I don't think that she's gonna have the most compassion for you they wrote to her she could easily resent you you are the same person that committed the affair and now you're suddenly the victim and you're shattering her whole world and her family and you want her to be on your side now so why are you putting that kind of burden on her yeah like leave her out of it so odd it's so odd and they said it's just about Mr Park and his crime so just keep him the responsible party like you don't have to bring his wife into it and be like she knew though she got really complicated online yeah there was a ton of online discourse but there are still other victims I'm not sure why everyone was fixated on missay maybe because she was the most public but yeah either way I feel like more people came from missay than they came from Mr Park I don't know what's going on with Park yeah because I guess she was very vocal and I think people don't know how to categorize a complicated person I think people know how to categorize a victim a perpetrator but they don't know how to categorize someone who is also a perpetrator and also a victim so they're really confused about her and then I think it really got bad when she started bringing the wife into it that's when I think she drew a lot of attention on herself and it started discourse that people found to be fascinating and wanted to partake in but what are your thoughts we don't know if there's a criminal case that's still active according to Park's attorneys they're making it seem like there's no investigation going on about this park has not been arrested he has been denying all the accusations still to this very day so that's it that's it he's claiming that all the girls wanted their pictures and videos up there and they wanted an invited man and you know how the police are they don't like to really solve these types of crimes what some insanely horrible things just so terrifying just like I would think it's a nightmare to find a picture of yourself sleeping with that idea I feel like it's like you're being sold here I would
