Imagine being a waiter and your table is fucking Kobe and MJ.
I love the stories of two great players who one-upped Jordan in a public setting.
Only the true greats could do that to MJ and get away with it lmao.
It was then Mike committed his life to acquiring enough wealth to fund the development of a time travel machine, go back in time to 1991, kidnap himself, then travel forward in time to that night just to prove Kobe wrong.
Mike didnβt strike me as a salad guy
I just find it awesome they had such a great relationship they could talk trash to each other like this.
He then rolled his whiteboard through the restaurant and gave Michael a 45 minute lecture in theoretically physics to explain exactly why that's not going to happen.
My big brother still picks up the cheque and I'm 27. I guess it's true haha.
Man, I miss Kobe π
Thing about MJ- regardless of the stats/winning/accolades /comps- the mans game was and still is the most beautiful I have ever witnessed. A level of athleticism and grace and violence that only Vince has ever come close to (without the accomplishment). Kobeβs game was beautiful but not close to Mike. Bronβs game will always feel brutish and plodding to me comparatively. Mike was not only a supreme alpha killer, but it came with Baryshnikov level aesthetics. Thatβs why for me he will always be the GOAT of my lifetime. On technical level of impact on the game Bron probably is tied with him. But Iβd rather watch Mike any day
