rising rap artist and YouTube personality,
Danielle Bregoli, who goes by a different
name when performing and we actually have that
name to show you here now. How do you think you
pronounce her name? - B-had, babe.

She's bad because she says cuss words
and she's really sassy. - Bad Baby.

stage name is actually Bhad Bhabie.
- That's how you spell baby? - She's a bad speller.
Has she went to school? - First, she was all like,
catch me outside meme girl and now she's releasing music?
No one really thought she would be a music person. - (FBE) Bhad Bhabie
released her first song in August of last year
and it did so well that she was immediately
signed to a record deal. - Wait, wait, wait.
Last year? I've never heard of it. - (FBE) So, in less than a year,
she has released a string of singles on her YouTube channel
which have over 500 million views.
- Wow, that's actually pretty good. - I bet you most people
are just trying to see what happened to her
as a meme. - (FBE) So, after listening
to some of her songs, what do you think it is
about her that's made her so popular in such
a short amount of time? - The tune?
She has a nice voice and stuff, but the cursing is not--
I'm not a fan. - Maybe teenagers might
like her? And the only thing they really
care about is the beat. - First of all, people like rap.
Second of all, people like cursing.
And third of all, people like sass.
She has all three of those. - Just her "I don't care
about anything" attitude. That's a big thing nowadays,
especially with Lil Tay, Whoa Vicky, now this
Bhad Bhabie girl. - (FBE) So last year,
Bhad Bhabie became the youngest female rapper
to ever appear on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
- Oh God. - (FBE) And that's because
she's only fifteen years old. - To be saying bleeps,
that's a little young. - Dang, she's four years
older than me. - What!?
She's fifteen!? I'm like, okay so
this is okay for 24 year olds, but fifteen year olds? - (FBE) Some people think
that her lyrics are too mature and extreme for her age.
From what you saw and heard, do you think that this is
what fifteen year olds should be rapping about?
- No. She's five years older than me. - She should be hanging out
with her friends more. - If you're talented and successful,
it doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want. - She is allowed to rap,
but not with bleeps. - You should not be
acting like that. You should be nice,
not being mean to a guy who's bringing
you milk. - I don't think people should
really criticize people. I think they should find
the reasons that are good about them.
Why do they criticize kids? They're just kids.
They can't help their reactions. - ♪ (electric guitar) ♪ - (FBE) So, Bhad Bhabie
released her first single when she was just fourteen
years old. - I'm sorry.
- (FBE) What? - Bhad Bhabie just reminds
me how she spelled it. Oh my God.
Girl, why? - (FBE) So, what do you
think your parents would do if you were singing songs
and making videos similar to Bhad Bhabie?
- Honestly, I can't even imagine because I'm not
even on social media. That's how far away from
that I am. - I'm not allowed to really
say bleeps, 'cause I'm only seven.
They'd ground me. - I'd get grounded.
I wouldn't be on the ground. No, they would dig a hole
and put me in the hole and like, "Now you're grounded." - Kick me out of the house,
won't even give me any food or phone.
They would just be like, "Bye, Felicia." - She'd ban me from
both devices and the TV for a whole
entire two years. - My parents would be all
like, "You need to stop this right now or you're
not getting a puppy." And then I'd be all like,
"Boy, I'm never singing again." - (FBE) Finally, in your opinion,
do you think that Bhad Bhabie is an artist that kids should
be listening to? - I don't think she's an artist. - 100 percent no.
I don't even think adults should be listening
to it. - I was about to say,
"Oh bleep no." 'Cause then I would
have said a bleep. - No. - No.
Kids are watching it. They're about the same age,
so they wanna have someone as rich as that
and then they're gonna copy them exactly. - I don't think anybody
under the age of ten should be listening to them. - Anybody underneath the age
of thirteen should not be listening to her. - If you get the approval
from your parents and you like her music
and what she does, then hey, listen to her.
