can't you pick the Kazi welcome back to the Kazi world tour somewhere here in Ireland Northern Ireland for the Donegal rally which is about two hours away from here but we're here my buddy and his farm and on his farm he has some very nice farms and in this particular barn that we're about to walk into yes some very nice group B cars so this is for me a goopy heavens we're gonna go in check out these cars and maybe even a talk Enda into taking us for a little Drive so let's go check those out hey good to see you thank you so I met ended years ago because ender goes to Goodwood and WS pain and fun events like that and actually drives these cars when was the last time you drove these cars and the last time they still worries 200 was the last time you were here it's not everybody quite likes annoy you suppose can always be a little bit of a problem but you mean your neighbors well neighbors and the authorities yeah so this is a car that was actually built in 1889 for four to spean and I did you can actually still drive these cars and that after 80 sex even though group he was bound you could driven them and respondents gravel Township actually quite a few group B cars so most of the larger intakes that I know of were built for a rallycross though right yes buffer alley because obviously temperature and speed was too low where the inter could race so what hence why they there's another car and spins it filters net it has these groups as well so they're actually only really for those two Spanish cars and it's sort of a tribute of motorsports part well if something was me Eddie lien Ron really after Group B like I said it was 1989 when they were when they were me and so so the groupie era is a very special time of rally where the cars were all specially built I think the homologation was only 200 units that's correct yeah yeah it was actually ended because they got too fast it was basically the Formula one cars of rally so for all of us people that are really into rally and it really is one of the most unique and kind of the golden era of rally so these cars are just so special because there's so few of them they actually ended up being banned and it was just a time and era of cars that was very special because everything was changing so fast yeah but the other thing that you could have done what these cars are out of the 200 then you had 20 evolutions so these are the evolution models so you see with IOD and these rs200 there were 20 special evolutions with different drivetrain different engines so they're even rarer again of the 200 if you can imagine so the rs200 was actually made in 1986 they were raced for a very short time and then there was actually ended in 86 several drivers and spectators died and so they basically said this spec is too fast to race and they banned the spec and it went on to the gup-e a and so you know not not only was the air special because the number of cars that were built it was very limited number of cars the speed and the spec was very unique and very rare and then it ended on a very traumatic notes so although tragic it also made the cars even more sort of special because of that yeah but the other thing you've got to think about is the type of route car the people were driving at the time so if you can imagine that compared to what these things were and you know and the drama and the wings and the scoop and the noise and the whole theater that went with them these types of things that came out was just an unbelievable difference you know I was there quite security cars so to see any of these cars especially three of them in one place is very unique and that's why we're here to visit Enda yeah it has a fancy box in it because originally this car had the ax track which is the same as what's in the other car the ax track doesn't really work on the rallies because of the distance and the gearbox was heating up and then it became difficult to change gear but it is the extract but show you in this one and then you had a the double gear sticks as well where you have you can change it from four-wheel drive to wheel drive you can actually do it on the move as far as having a variety try so what and then in the back end you've got a 2.1 liter engine this was just over here under the horse part but I know Martin shanky went even rallycross I think it was two point four and but he used to say what he called the car used to drive him not him driving the car so this car was running 800 horsepower on rallies when the route car is 600 horsepower yeah just a stored in the evolution record alright but usually there's restrictors when you go to rally know what sort of things championship yep it was running either unravel stages yeah crazy and then we have this car where that was a tops Ford's Ronnie Coast car notes the Charlie Stig Blomqvist roof and redid four events in 1989 well with Stig driving it so that was supposedly the quickest car that afforded me at the time it's got the ax tracks just a minute yes so it's a rallycross car but it has a statement of yeah yeah see them who said and this is the one that has the dual yeah originally what he called this well I've got upstairs this and quite a large tank and you've got the double wiper blades that they had on this car for rallycross yeah and real quick if I can ask and that you're saying that this actually has I want to call it transfer case am I saying that right of the road cars there's a separate knob here and yeah so you can shift it from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive and they get and before we drive you've a choice off either 50/50 or 60/40 when you usually drive it most people usually drive at the 6040 so what's comfortable 5050 it just keeps what it doesn't actually turn it keeps want to go straight on all the time but in rallycross they they were a drove it in 50/50 I like this car cuz I'm fitting it better than my car hold this view might be me against the column that is the original graphics from the original race team for Ford but the rs200 and that's what my graphics are based off of we just did a variation of that with the flat black in the gloss black only 73 of Pino them don't exist you know so between those four three of them here though so obviously you have a lot of group B cars you have a lot of other nice boys to like this one this one's got a very particular history like the last car that Colin McRae drove and he drove it in the RAC and Andy drove it in Australia he was like he was lying third and he was going to be getting in the second position if he kept up CMPs they had a routine clutch service that didn't really go as well in the screwed house on the end of not actually connect to finish the loop so it'd be specific there was the last WRC race that Colin every because he raised some other races after the way it was the last service of the rally right I mean I decided for whatever reason to do a cluster change okay but those obviously some sort of complications and it didn't get it finished in time yeah and all the other T's all came around to watch yeah and then at the end when they didn't get it done they were all son around stopping at the end and score to put into it yeah but there's a good deal of respect from every team for what kind of Nicky had achieved but what a disappointing way to lose SCOTUS hopes for a best ever finish it sleek ashell sleek ashell Saul Berg Subaru a Lancia deltas or this just keeps on going this place is incredible this is not a big building you've got a lot of amazing cars in there three pipes yes so one coming out the turbo yeah and this is the supercharger yeah that's a super turn yeah what's this one about the engine thank you all right well now you have to tell us about your third rs200 new collection because this is one of the most unique this is the MC car yeah but there's only one instacart dounia's one yes very unique car before we drive system evolution as well you can put this up to about nine on a large part so that means you drove it it went static Jeff came over in 2015 on drove the car up the hill oh wow I could just raced one season no 89 an N in a 1991 this is quite clean yeah it's car this car this car really doesn't but it looks beautiful and it's got some dramatic changes from the rs200 time you still looking at - well the thing is one of the main issues they had because a norris to hold up the hold back sections are all bolted together yeah so the setup was nearly impossible because it always keep flexing yeah because the whole car if you look at the florists on the draw honeycomb yeah so there's no strength and I was one of the issues they find very rallying that's why when I went to rallycross they welded everything up mm-my this one the whole roll cage and old assemblies old solid night yeah so you can actually do some proper setup in the car well things that just moved moved on yeah I smell furriest they didn't need it the twin chocolate yeah there's a lot of subtle changes to like they changed the holes here and made a most circular but it's the same pattern in the same place yeah yeah so it's subtle changes but they still kept kind of the original look yep and then there's this flare in the front end of this thing - you see there the players a little more pronounced from the front and by the way I love the turbo fame of this one so thanks for the tour of your barn I love coming here but we have a dinner date right yes so can we get some can we take some of these because last time we have to drive the rs200 can we do that again we count some dinner with Andrew Nesbitt and the family yep all right let's go man you see there Kenner this camera that's a very powerful thing do other drive a couple Rs 200 to dinner [Applause] [Music] so for some reason every time Ken tries to drive an rs200 it's in the rain but I guess didn't you how this is your favorite rally cars an island so hip ain't so hot that's why the grass is so green hey well thank you again for having us hornier barn and letting me drive this wonderful machine again it was very nice to actually fit in it yeah I like my car yeah wonderful all the
