That’s boarderline unwatchable. They just talk over one another in a 5 min clip trying to get sound bites of “gotcha!”
With that said, kavanaugh seems to not understand how elections work.
So.... defund education for decades... and now that it's becoming a problem, say that the "uneducated" constituents shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Is it some kind of family trait that people with the last name Kavanaugh always end up being some horrific people? The valley has had its fair share of them all over holding various public offices most of my life and I seem to remember most of them having some level of horrible policy or proposal.
So tyranny of the elites, got it.
Republicans were proud of Arizona's voting systems for the last 15 years, including mail-in voting, but changed their minds because they think mail-in is no longer to their advantage. When Kavanaugh says "sending everyone a ballot increases fraud," he is fear-mongering. If that is true, then we would have seen more fraud in 2020 since some states automatically sent ballots to and some did not. In 2020, states that automatically sent ballots included Vermont, Oregon, Nevada, DC, Utah, Washington, and several others. When you compare fraud in those states to other states, there is no difference. In fact, it is the opposite of what Kavanaugh argues. When more registered voters are sent ballots by mail, there is a dramatic increase in voter participation, which Kavanaugh even admits (he says more people voted in 2020 than ever before).
Kavanaugh wants a limited number of registered voters deciding where your tax dollars go. He is leveraging your own freedoms as a bargaining chip. He is saying "Do you want your sovereignty? Well, you have to work for it. Come and get it!" That line of thinking reeks of superiority. To combat authoritarians like Kavanaugh, not only should mail-in voting stay as is, I argue that Arizona should move to universal mail-in completely.
