Kedar talks computer code on Steve Harvey TV for Little Big Shots Week

my next guest is just 7 years old but has already invented a game that teaches computer coding called story byte please welcome little cold ninja Kedar you look really nice today you too thank you ok let me ask you a question what exactly is coding well like we speak English and that's how we can talk together while coding is the same it's how you talk to the computer really yes how did you learn how to code well when I was 5 I love to play video games mm-hmm and my mom said that we broke and so I was really mad and she said this is not the end you can make your own video games using code and you can play them and that's when I started learning to code how did you even know what coding was though I use YouTube videos to teach me how to code and when I got stuck my mom helped me really yes okay show us what you invented this is story bot I invented it it's a 3d board game to teach code and basically you know the story of Goldilocks right Goldilocks and the three bears yes well and story bought we're taking stories like Goldilocks and using code to animate it this is the code when I start the program I'm going to make Goldilocks move up three steps over here and then I'm gonna move left two steps and move up three steps again and I got to the bunny who I want to tag so I'm I have it if then or there's a question and the character will perform an act based on the answer for the question and so my question is am i touching a bunny and yes I am touching a bunny so I'm going to say tag you're it I'm gonna end the if-then and then stop the code I guess I'm the only one that's stuck on stupid right now oh I feel real at inadequate at this point I'm pretty sure all the kids know exactly what you're talking about but the adult man with this suit on is having trouble do you all understand what's happening here you do my head hurts so come here let me tell you something you know what I like about you you're just a really really nice kid you're very very memorable which means you have some great parents and you're super smart so when you get older and do you are you planning on making a lot of money yes very good oh I want you to just call me uncle Steve and let uncle Steve invest in you invest means I put some money behind you and then you invent something and then we make a lot of money on it and you give me the money that I gave you back plus something how much you think you should give me back if I gave you ten thousand dollars how much should you give me a hundred thousand yeah you Jesus this is it folks this is actually a lot of you are going to be surprised at this but this is actually a relative of mine and we're going to make a lot of money together thank you so much very good man great parents thank you very much folks we'll be right back you
