there was a couple experiences I had attending Katherine Coleman's meetings they were amazing the first one was at the Full Gospel businessman's fellowship in Washington DC you know my whole life has been my dad's journey and my dad was so hungry for the Lord that he would take me to all these meetings while we went to the Katherine's service there was over 4,000 people there and it was probably at that time was the height of the Jesus people room it there was hundreds and hundreds of young people outside so Catherine comes on the stage and she just pops out there and she sees these young people waiting to come in she says uh sure's open the door let them in they need to hear this Genesis 26 18 tells us Isaac dug again the wells of Abraham in every generation there have been revivals massive moves of the Spirit that changed the course of history in every revival there were believers like you who chose to answer the call to become the one their generation discover your call to be the one generation we're about to take you face to face with history to me the greatest story of kevin was not the miracles it was the second chance so she was always grateful too she adored Jesus Christ with all of her heart and had the true most tremendous honor and respect for the holy spirit who Jesus sent that when she talked about the Holy Spirit you could not gesture or make fun of him in any fashion from she corrects you her disposition and honor for him was one of the things that when she walk out on that stage whoever it was and she looked up there was no other way but for the Lord himself and the Holy Spirit to come to meet miss Cullen's honor and faith in him and by that relationship it exploded into the crowd with miracles that's one way to say it God gave her on an anointing and a gift that she protected with her life she never allowed it to be merchandised she did not allow it to be miss you know she was theatrical she was very eccentric in some ways which I think went with the whole package but in her heart that was a lot was like that and she never left her calling the very presence publish but is very marvelous in this place and I still believe it and I believe with every alibi being that was so near the end of this dispensation I've been livid that we're now seeing everything that happened in the early days of Pentecost everything it was a perfect Church these same things are now being restored there's one word about very outmoded and that word is revival when a preacher stands in his pulpit and is still talking about a revive he's missed the whole thing we're not living in an hour of greater revival we're living in a day of great restoration glorious restoration we're living now in the closing moments of the day of Pentecost and the day of Pentecost comes to an end with all these spirit leaves and before we have the great catching up before we have the last day of Pentecost the last hour of Pentecost I believe with every album of my being that I shall live to see a miracle service when every wheelchair is emptied and every person in that place will be healed of the power all the ghosts I believe that there were services in the early church who read the word when the Word of God says and they were all so guys Kathryn Kuhlman you know and when it doesn't matter how many videos you see she's still captivating I know I keep saying that but there's one phrase like this is this book I believe in miracles you always whenever I see this book I no matter what version or Edition it's I believe I can hear her saying I believe in miracles and she said that because I believe in God but there's something special about this book you brought Joe it's actually got her signature in here and it says God bless you kathryn kuhlman so I'm taking that mercy I receive the blessing yes we also have this videos what is this if that's actually pastors panel asking questions you would like to ask kathryn kuhlman at metal deal and with ralph whoo-hoo that's good that's good I like to hear that one so but what about Joe when you think about Kathryn Kuhlman what is it that stands out well she was my she was my pastor you know I grew up a teenager and I was going to assume as a god Church and you know and every night nine o'clock ww-will in West Virginia you know I would turn at nine o'clock and she would come on there hello and have you been waiting for me I knew you'd be there no matter what your problem no what you work here God is still on the throne this is going to be one of the most practical heart-to-heart talks that you and I have ever had what I say will come from the deep recesses of my heart and I pray that in u.s. would be what I have to say well she was my pastor I mean every Monday through Friday I would go into my bedroom and turn her on because she had a life to her I grew up in assume he's a guy we had some life but she had life she had there's no different something different that I was never exposed to yeah Greg did you have any you know them recently I do I remember so Dino at the piano now it's Dino at the piano [Music] and meld allele and in Southern California hosted the presence of God for a whole generation well my parents were charter members founding members and it was called Anaheim right and before the change served melody land Christian Center and so I mean we kind of the choir practiced in our living room and we kind of it was just what happened you know you just went into service you had a normal service the air conditioning was normal and then you'd have Kathryn Kuhlman come in and all of a sudden you said wow what sound it's a different time it was a time of women we mean different sound it sounded different yeah I mean you'd have to all of a sudden she'd go from talking to you'd have to like listen over the sound of this hum or something in the building because you'll be the tie and I and earlier in the program I think Roberts talked about that the sound did you hear the sound when the presents came when she recognized that presence came well the presence when it dropped it was I've never that was my first experience of being in a service and then it's like a blanket just drops over everyone you don't move you're not fidgeting I mean I wasn't even that old and you're just like looking at it and it's just like you want to hear what's going to happen next cuz you know something is happening and it was just like I never experienced anything like that before in the 1970s there was the era of leisure suits and plaid pants and bright jackets and people from all walks of life came just to see what was gonna happen I mean right here we have a wonderful picture you know of you know this was at the Syria mosque Pittsburgh people from everywhere every color every denomination came anytime it you know and they were looking for the presence and then the presence would drop and things happen and it went on for hours and he didn't move one inch I mean there was 7,000 seats at the Shrine Auditorium but I mean it was just like it just went you know in all during the 60s that's when she came back into California and she was hustling between Pittsburgh California right and it was just like life-changing it was just like one continuous little baby revival after another 7,000 people in one place experiencing that kind of pain wonderful miracles oh yeah Oh notable miracles no no I became a new creature in Christ Jesus I have a great High Priest the very throne of God in the person of Jesus Christ His only begotten Son and everything that you and I received today must come through Jesus adored himself they begin acquire [Music] the great over time [Music] [Music] in the revelation sand and I I heard the voices the reading of all day [Music] he's the one who forgives you the one who gives you security he's the only one who can give peace of mind the great hi [Music] [Music] [Applause] we bow was a very life to be so care to give you all the praise and all the other and all the glory for everything that the history does in this place of worship today that's one thing you will not share with any human being you will not share the glory you'll not share the praise and before the visible and the invisible we vow to give you the glory for the marvelous manifestation the supernatural manifestation of our God not one person I pray shall leave this place wish this Saturday afternoon the same person they were when they entered it's a simple prayer granted I pray oh Jesus she had beautiful services some people have powerful services revelatory meetings she had beautiful the beauty of God was there I've never seen anyone have that again Vicky Jameson was a little close to her possibly could have tapped into that right but that's a different story but miss Coleman knew how to be the center but be behind the stage does that make sense and you know I miss her I miss her at all that isn't it amazing even now when you pull up an old video I've told people on this program it's like when you're you still pulled out those up and you're like but what's gonna happen you're just we would say mesmerized by by her and what's she going to do next and what's going to happen I mean that whole thing that is was resin it's still there on the videos you know it says she teaches when I go tell all the general story I keep her from the last one because when I tell it that anointing or I caught the fame comes in yeah and people start crying in China all of the world when I tell her story oh it comes in the room and it is the uniqueness of her story I don't know why or you know I have ideas but I don't have Forrester reason but that anointing plus Kathryn Kuhlman died people don't believe because she was so theatrical how can you say you died with all that drama right but she knew better than anybody else that she had nothing to do with it yeah and she knew very very much that she I have nothing they asked me why don't you write a teaching book she goes I don't know I don't have to talk about that I mean I'll say so that he'll do something different next we can't follow you know formula and she's fixing that right there is light years I've had of so many that we've seen that they'll try to come up to try to come up with this is the way it's going to work into this day we see ministries and churches pastors try to oh well that's the way it worked last Sunday that's the way we'll do it this Sunday and that's just not the case well the people the day they don't know the Lord they know the mechanics of ministry and that's the biggest disgusting problem today so how do you know the Lord and not know the ministry we what does he want to do you have to spend time with him in prayer in his word and not following the latest trend the ladies I mean all these guys we talked about another common thing is there wasn't a formula if the formula was they knew him they've cherished what ever known God gave them and they followed the cloud for that moment they're early churches being restored this isn't a revival this is restoration go on in that there's the wine of the spirit look look there she is if you go out of here and they'd swear she was drunk go on go on just like in the early church that that's right who's wheelchair is it that's your wheelchair here's the donor come here come here I forgot whether you had relatives or not come on up here Oh your daughter would she be pleased she's your will come on up here come on [Applause] sorry but the people in this auditorium today will never been here before they'll think we're all nuts and your reporters in arena here if you don't get it straight don't say anything he's an interesting and I saw you see this with of course with Catherine hey Alan Aurel anytime there was a move of God the presence of God was tangible like you were describing it tore down every denominational wall every social or society's wall or in racism and you know with a hey Alan and those guys it tore that down because everybody wanted to get in to see what was happening even to today you know we have people you have a miracle service you're gonna have you're not gonna have just your word of faith as well in our church you're not gonna see just where to faith through and see Baptist and genius is unity of doctrine it's the unity of the faith the faith in Jesus Christ and we live behind our doctrinal walls and people like the people you discussed guess but mister mister Kuhlman in particular had the ability to go beyond those walls to break those walls down I remember one of the things that was the most impactful in my life in 1974 her last appearance at Oral Roberts University and she's speaking in the maybe center she's introduced by Oral Roberts and so you look at that now we look at it we said there's two of the Great's right there I created the fact that you made possible this great I filled that to within the will of God I want you to know how much I appreciate your use and use of service and I'd like to feel that we're in it together and it's just like she talked this time about her father yeah her father Jess she talked about telling these students what it costs her and really she's teaching them Jean be the one it was her yeah her dad I believe that her relationship with her earthly father is what's so tied her in a relationship with her heaven well she says that she get hurt she would go up to her dad she would put her head on his shoulder and all the problems would just go away mm-hm and so like when she found out in 1935 she there was an ice storm that hit everything her dad was out he slipped on ice a car slid out of control and hit him and he was immediately you know headed towards heaven and so two days later he's dead she tries to she hustles into her car as fast as she can she's in Colorado in Colorado she had to go through Kansas and it was a mess ice storms of the century so she misses he dies she doesn't have a chance to say goodbye she's looking at this casket she's looking at her father she's been spitting fury I didn't get to see him I didn't get to say goodbye to him and she looks down at this casket and she had described herself as a really happy person I mean her story may be some challenges but she was like a happy camper then she gets to this moment with the casket and it's her moment of gethsemane where she's just like there's no hope only God know how I love my papa up until that time it was the first sorrow I had never known the only sorrow that had ever come into my life and so she basically looks down at him and she's saying God and and the Lord brings back how you know here's his shoulder and all the problems on her way and he met her at that moment in the casket that's what you saw in her meetings it was almost as if she would lay her shoulder like the Apostle John did laid her shoulder on Jesus in the meetings and there was just this you knew that this lady knew the Lord she tells him that same thing about her inheritance the one dollar bill the one dollar her father used to be the richest man in town richest man in the county and he lost it oh and the only thing that she got was that one dollar bill and she treasured that one dollar bill because it was from her dad and it gave her a massive compassion before that she said she'd look at somebody and and they're there they were yay problem bummer but when she had that moment with the casket when she had that moment of connection with God with the Lord as her as her father her loving father it transformed everything after that anybody that came up to her she looked at them was able to put herself in their shoes even if she hadn't had that disease or that experience and that compassion it shows up oh yeah it's your wheelchair for how many years do Jesus every traces arthritis goals every trace of it goes in they fall I mean we both go down I worship You Jesus you'll never hold her Donny you'll never hold her [Applause] never dared Jesus does bless her she suffered enough Oh God love you come on let's say we'll do on the next try come on she's so he's so shocked oh you didn't expect all this did you all right it's still whenever you see those videos you do see that you know the not just the miracles but the heart behind Kathryn Kuhlman she was we can't cover it all in one program in by any means but you can see the books God can surely do it again that book by Kathryn and so much more that you can see about Kathryn Kuhlman you know it's important to see not just that Kathryn was surely became the one she talked about many times and we've already covered in this program how she said she wasn't the first one that God called but she answered the call right and boy that just always resonates when I hear that clip about how she answered the call I don't want to be the one that passed right I don't want to be the one that missed it and somebody else had to take what I was supposed to do so it's your turn to be the one pick up that call that God's given you do it an unlikely candidate for a healing ministry and revivalist Kathryn Kuhlman was like no other and we can take from here that not only was can we celebrate the life of Kathryn Kuhlman and all this you did forgot but what we can take on from here is her willingness to be open obedient and pick it up and do what God called her to do no matter what the cost and she talked a lot about you don't know what this cost cost her everything cost her everything everything thank you for joining me today guys last thoughts we got a couple of minutes left for me she was a kid 16 years old she stepped up and she just said all she knew was the plan of salvation when she started it wasn't until years later that she began preaching about the Holy Spirit and she was this little fragile person I mean she looked like a whiff of wind could just knock her over she was so no matter where we start no matter what we have no matter what our ages she had this right and that made this right yeah oh yeah amen that's good work let's pray father I thank you Lord we thank you for your serving Kathryn Kuhlman yes or not that sweet day if I her she was certainly just a a human like the rest of us but father we think of what you did through her life and Lord as those are watching today and they say boy I want that I want to be used what I ask for encouragement encouragement the flood every person watching this program right now that they are able to see that you've called each one of us to a glorious calling that you will fulfill it he who called us will fulfill it father thank you for those watching that they do pick up this mantle and become the one in their generation in
