hey guys it's your boy joe back at it again codingphase.com your boys backing out and did it again one more time listen guys today i have something special for you guys i have a pretty damn cool portfolio from a junior developer who's been actually freelancing since high school okay this is how you do it kids okay so let's just get started right here guys so his name is william we're gonna go to his website and his website is will bursting okay pretty nice pretty nice um i like that transition okay nice svg some animations right will bursting uh this dude he's been doing it since high school okay so now he's a college student still working on his cs degree so he's pretty young but i like the quality of work that he has okay so you can see you scroll some nice animation i'm uh my best spoke web developer uh looking to facilitate the creation of modern and aesthetically pleasing websites okay i like what i'm seeing i like this nice little animation right here it's like it's like a a nice little drip you know i mean it's a nice little drip right there again so shout out to him all right so let's see some projects and this is what he has he has a couple of projects so let's get into it right he has the common hand coming app handbook okay cool is a guide to students to help them express themselves better in common app okay services he did the ui design branded design front end development okay um again some of you guys might say damn joe but he's a designer and this this and that everybody wants to cop it to you and be like yo hey man he knows about design i can't make websites like that it's like bro yes you can okay all right so uh pretty nice little website okay i like the design of it i like how everything flows uh everything is smooth again so it's a simple website right uh but at the same time you know it's something good to have on your portfolio okay he has some testimonials in there etc okay so pretty nice now what i do like about his portfolio is that he's actually explaining what the project is okay and beforehand he's giving the people like a section right of what the website is how it looks like right what he actually did on that website he didn't have to go into the details of like hey man i didn't react on this i i did jquery on this i did this this and that i mean sometimes it's cool to know but at the same time it's like hey man this is pretty self-explanatory like hey you can see what i did here okay and this is the services that i basically worked on okay and at the same time i like that when you click on it hey it tells you hey launch the website one thing that i hate the most is when you go to somebody's portfolio and for whatever reason they think that they need to send you to github bro that's not a project bro nobody has time to look at your code right that's something that we're going to do on a face-to-face situation we're not going through your github account bro okay so if you're watching this and right now you're like well instead of me actually showing them the project that i did i'm going to send them directly to my github freaking repo like bro i'm not going through your projects right and nobody will right most people is going to watch or go through your portfolio right they're going to basically go with the three-second rule which is did i like it did it catch my attention did he stand out from everybody else because remember everybody that's sending an email to a company everybody can code too okay this is what people be forgetting is like yeah there's a lot of people that know how to code exactly uh the same way as you or better than you or even you know worse than you right but at the end of the day what's going to make you stand out this portfolio to me it tells me this kid has a really good potential as a front-end developer okay i haven't seen anything in the backing yet but let's get into it okay so in here he has hair fixing it's a hair fixation uh october 17 2019 uh ui ux front end development he did some back end uh here fixation is a haircut product company dedicated to creating safe and natural products okay i like it uh let's see into the background the modern accessibility provider ui ux mockups using wireframes to ensure final product will fulfill our expectations developing both the front end and back-end infrastructure in order to make it fully custom and seamless okay uh in addition optimizing the seo implementing cms okay cool nice all right i like what i'm seeing here so i'm gonna go in and actually go to hair fixation let's check it out uh okay i like the design i like this little little wave that's going on pretty simple okay nice little animations um i don't know it's a little stutter on the animations there uh definitely gotta fix that but besides that all of this looks good bro this looks good nice animations okay at the same time it's like look at this as we hover removes the the title of it shows the buttons what you want four pack 12 pack right um it reminds me like those on the block would you want a four-pack or a 12-pack my dude listen you got to have fun with this okay uh hair fixation okay different this is this is when we go into google chrome because uh right here we want to check out with wapalizer i don't even know if they have that for firefox but uh i want to see what they use says e-commerce cart functionality using sprite stripe okay cool so uh using some pretty cool things in here i'm just wondering like how he built this i wish i there was a way to know more right if he's using like some third-party company like shopify or is he building this with uh you know a custom cms so let me see view cart okay let me just see check out see there's a cart right there's no products in here yet let's add a product clicking here add to the product okay goes to the cart pretty nice click on checkout now by looking at this like it tells me like he's pretty prepared right if he did this himself he did the front end he did the back and he already has everything in here from you know user authentication right uh being able to have a cart system um you know if you build all of this man this is legit man you know shout out to him you know because this is the type of projects that get you higher because it shows that you're ready to hit the ground running like we could throw you on the deep end you know tell you hey man help us out with this page or help us out with this bug that we have on the cart system or hey can you go into this javascript that was built you know in jquery in 2011 or something like that and then somebody could go in there and fix it up right so it's pretty nice i like it again it's a real website something that a business can look at and say okay we could use this guy and the next project is code today so code today is a student made daily schedule uh website for the kingsford oxford school it shows the blog schedule for every day of the year as well as an additional information to help guide students okay nice clicking here okay no school nice no school no school no school all right so let's see select a date see if we could go to a previous date around maybe i guess you gotta sign in um but from what i'm seeing seems pretty nice it seems something that could be useful uh for a school this could be like a blackboard if you guys have ever been to college i don't know if you guys remember about blackboard right it was like this its own cms slash uh class scheduler slash you know teachers give you homework online type website um basically all the schools used to use it but this is pretty nice man i like it now of course i i'm not able to see everything okay but i can imagine right on how things work if i had a school or i had the time to go in there and sign up and stuff like that but i think this is a cool project it's nice ui ux branding design front end development back-end development so he did all of this so it says start it out in the lamp stack but then evolve within an environment of react node.js and express okay nice so he started with the lamp right probably you know uh php my sequel and then from there he just upgraded to node.js and express okay so nice so by the way shout out to him location connecticut hey connecticut boys right i used to live in connecticut now i'm in florida you already know life florida okay you dig you gotta go real dominican when you're going to florida kid all right um hi my name is will currently studying hamilton college pursuing a ba in computer science over the past 10 years uh coding has developed into a passion of mine specifically in the realm of web development i've dedicated my time to gaining proficiency you know interesting intricacies of web development in order to better myself okay nice so he has a nice little bio uh let's see what he knows he knows java php c sharp c c plus plus my sequel postgres node.js express nginx linux rest soap out apache okay he knows everything html5 css3 sas less javascript jsx react json xml webpack unity god damn it god damn it will making us look bad out here uh organization collaboration leadership design and marketing illustrator photoshop adobe xd premiere after effects final cut get uh jenkins agile trello okay so nice pretty good pretty damn good okay shout out to him man so what we're getting here is that he used g sap okay most likely probably use something like react i mean i'm not going into the code uh but i'm guessing uh at the same time i know all of this animations is coming from gsat now like i said you know you don't have to have a lot of animations on your portfolio but if it's a skill that you have and you can literally execute it the best way and show it to people and be like hey man this is what i can do for you guys it's gonna help out for real okay but as you guys can see there's no rotations in here there's no x y axis doing crazy flips and css rotate like this is like real animations guys this is done with javascript okay gsap okay by the way if you want to learn how to create nice animations like this website right here from will you got to go check out codingface.com that's what we do in there okay and there's a course in there called javascript animations again and you could go in there and learn gsap you could learn a whole bunch of other things that's going to help you out to make animations and make your website look as nice and beautiful as this okay so if you want to learn again go to codingface.com okay i'm gonna leave a link in the description below just in case you want to go check it out what more can i say i like his portfolio it's nice now of course uh i feel like i would like to see more projects right uh but just from what i'm seeing i could i could literally tell like he knows what he's doing right his website is legit everything is smooth um nothing is messed up on it okay so he really put in the time he made sure that uh you know the website actually looks good and and there's like no errors no nothing like it's legit like he did his thing shout out to him now guys if you like this anything that i will say that's negative about this portfolio it's nice and clean right um the only thing that i saw was just at one point i think on this website uh the animation here was a little bit choppy i don't know if you guys could see that but besides that that now we're just nick picking you guys were saying like shout out to will man you know shout out to you man for sending your
