captivating about him okay so first of all when we first um invited jordan i wasn't super familiar with him i just saw kind of the phenomenon around him yeah and he is a doctor he's a psychologist of some renown and um i was like well you know i seen him on other shows and i thought uh and then someone was like hey you should have this guy on and i was like okay you know i was inviting everyone on at the time and so he was on and we didn't talk about politics or anything we talked about like psychology and [ __ ] like that so i found it really interesting just you know um i thought the conversation was great it was a really interesting conversation i didn't know anything about his politics on like he's obviously transphobic you know and um yeah he has all kinds of well we've covered like for example recently on the podcast you know i know i know i know your current position on him i'm just saying like no i thought he was very interesting from a clinical standpoint he's really articulate he's he sounds good um he's really he can grapple with complex like ideas that we talked about and it was a really great captivating conversation everybody loved it you know i got a show do you look at the discord is that a real photo that's a real photo oh so he is a roger rabbit that's that's from um that's like old jordan peterson like i feel like he's always been kind of like he's an that kind of stuff and you know that's not really my jam but i could see why people found him interesting he's very articulate and everything i remember it was about an hour and a half in though when he started he he mentioned cultural marxism for the first time and that was like the moment where i raised an eyebrow i was like what i still don't know what that means cultural marxism is literally the exact same modernized propaganda version of what nazis say about cultural bolshevistmas which is i've been like ever since you said that word i was like i've been trying to be like what is that it's literally the republican modern day conservative equivalent to frankfurt school jews control the media and and academia and uh you know that he's not i'll say in his defense he is not anti-semitic i've heard him no no i don't think so either yeah i think he's just a regular conservative and there's a lot of people who are regular conservatives who are repeating um who who are repeating basically watered down like fascist talking points that doesn't mean that they themselves are like ideologically uh fascists or anything like they're not [ __ ] reading like culture of critique and being like yeah this is real it's more so that they're repeating talking points because it makes sense to them and it's instead of like jews the cultural marxism is just marxists like whoever is in academia socialism marxists that are like you know um that are that are leading to the degeneracy of the west the western civilization that is supreme it's now falling apart because of feminism women in the workplace uh gay uh gay people and trans people being able to like co-exist openly in society uh immigration all of this stuff is is a product of cultural marxism is what nazis used to say they would say it's cultural bolshevism now regular conservatives just say cultural minds i still don't know what cultural marxism means like you know what i mean like i understand what aren't that much it's a fancy buzzword that no not saying that wikipedia is the most reputable source but i was actually surprised to see that their article about it is literally part of their series on anti-semitism because it is it is a modern modern rendition but it's just like this okay now republicans don't say america was founded on christian values they say judeo-christian values they just interesting about that hobby which i actually think is cool is that he's like if you go on ebay you can find buy all this like original soviet art for like next to nothing yeah i love soviet beautiful
