[Music] hey everybody hi it's becky from power tools with thread i have a treat for you today i was able to get a tour of the kimber bell whole process from idea to distribution center and kim and her husband ryan are here and keith is with me you know uh we are traveling we are on the road this is a stop that i was so excited to make and i wanted to talk to you a little bit about how kimber bell takes care of every kind of embroiderer i tell you guys this all the time and i really mean it kimber bell is great if you are a beginner embroiderer if you've never used that part of your machine before kimber bell is a great place to start because of the detailed instructions that they give you for everything start to finish and so i wanted to talk to you guys a little bit about about how that came about because you do more than just provide sales you know retail sales in quilt stores right so your quilt stores buy things and then you're still there as part of the process with the instructions that they get and everything then you're not just doing downloads yeah essentially there's like a virtual handholding or if they go to an event they get actual uh on-site instructor what made you take that step where you said you know what why how do we make this so that that the beginner can do how did that whole thing come about yeah well i thank you becky first of all so happy that you and keith are here thank you for visiting us here at kimberville this is our pleasure to have you here so thank you for that as far as you know to answer your question i think that it probably stems back from being a teacher myself i used to be a fourth grade teacher okay many years ago and i realized you know the importance of instruction and really appealing to those people who learn either through pictures or through words or through diagrams and so that was important to me but then when it came down to doing something that you know people pay a lot of money for a machine right the last thing you want is to have someone experience frustration right whether they're at an event or they're in their own sewing room or they're at their dining room table and they're so excited and pumped to put together this project right and then if they're going why did i even do that try this right why it's so um unmotivating to have frustration after frustration with projects that are just maybe assume that you know more than what we're telling you to do right right and so it was important for us to take these these concepts these ideas and help everyone feel successful so that meant starting from this is how you're going to hoop this okay to this is what it's going to look like when you do your first placement stitch right right right and then from there so that they can go oh it's like kim or my friend is sitting right next to me right telling me what to do next and it is real good to have that picture to say you know so the machine does its thing and then you know something will happen and you'll go oh no and it and did that did that work and then you look at the picture and you say oh there that is right okay i'm good to go everything's fine and hopefully i mean that's why i think you and i can connect so well too with this idea that if we can show through pictures through video right in your case you know how step-by-step things can be we're going to feel successful and we're going to be so excited to take this project that we just made never believing we could do it before right i just made this yeah i mean think about how much that means to us when we do that and then we can you know decorate our homes we can give it to other people right and and share the joy and creativity which of course you know it's our tagline here so anyway so ryan you had told me there was a two-hour story of how all that came about can you get that down to about five minutes i think so i mean so a lot of years ago kim was wanting to just have something to do yeah and so she uh started raising a young family she's a young family and so she started making these uh personalized name pillows where if somebody had you know a child at home and they were maybe decorating their room they would contact her and say hey i've got you know this room and it's you know these colors my kid's name is whatever you know keith or right you know whatever um they would write to her and she would then make those pillows and she would put their cut out the letters applicate them onto this a pillow made out of those colors and send them out and that was um she was doing pretty well with that but it was you know i would come home from work because i i was had a different job what were you doing at that time i might well my background was more in corporate marketing i worked for software companies okay i did marketing stuff okay um but i came it was really boring stuff yeah you know banking software yeah empowering so much fun so much fun right yeah anyway so no i uh i remember coming home and she had all these projects that were backed up and she's like i got to get all these pillows done and out and i've got a crying baby in the crib because my only sewing space was like this little desk about this wife everybody has been next to the crib everybody right right nursery and sewing room yeah right and so anyway um i got talking to her and i said wow well what if instead of making all these pillows instead you made the instructions on how to make the pieces and you sold those to people okay and she said well i don't think i don't think people are going to want to buy instructions they're not going to want to make these themselves right and i was like oh they might and so and here you are so she did that but it's like she said the next time she made a pillow she thought through with her uh teacher background and thought okay i'm going to take pictures of every single little thing yes yes detail write out the instructions and put them together and um we started selling those and they did really well and and that's when we realized that yeah people really want to have that success experience right yeah putting something together that's an empowering thing for them absolutely yeah and when they completed it and they said wow they set back and said man i made that it's just such an amazing feeling and then they want more and so then they started coming back and say i want to make more things and more things right and it started to grow and we sold a lot of things like that so was this uh was this a like a home business out of your garage or out of a spare room out of the babies out of the baby's nursery right and then and then so about so i read on your website like 2010 2011 right yeah and then when did it when did you finally say uh we we need to take there's a leap that happens so keith and i did that we we took the leap where we said okay we're going to retire from our day jobs and i was going to retire and i was just going to do youtube full-time this was going to be my full-time gig and i and i want to have that as my gig right and then keith sold the ranch and said okay and now he's an integral part of power tools with thread as well what was it when you guys i mean you were gonna have to say i gotta quit i'm gonna quit my job yeah and yeah yeah what it ended up happening is so the company i was working for um it was actually a big banking company here in utah they had sever they were starting technology companies as investments okay and that's who i was working for and they would start one and we'd build it up and then they'd sell it okay and so they finally did the last one and sold it and they said well we're not doing this anymore so now all of you people you don't work here oh but because i've been with them long enough they gave me a pretty good severance package okay and at that point well if that's not god telling you you need to yes hello hello yes that's for a reason we talked and we said this we could really make something this is like a perfect opportunity we've got a runway with a little bit of money from the severance package and let's just go for it yeah let's jump in with both feet and that is a fabulous story yeah what ended up happening so i don't i'm not very good at working from home i get too distracted and so we said let's get an office we've got a little office in town that we could go to to work okay we were both in the same room both in the summer in this little room and we hired her sister to come and work for us as well and um and that's chris from my sister's my girlfriend my girlfriend's quote shop yeah okay okay yeah but but what ended up happening is we were in this office in the space below us because there's a lot of different commercial spaces in this building we're in the space below it opened up the people who were in there left and her sister said i think he's gonna make a great call she says i think i want to open up a quilt shop down there yeah and we said yeah go for it and so she and her husband he quits his job now when he goes down there and they start a quilt shop right below us right experience as a shop owner we realized wow there's there's this need to bring people into a physical location right you know um i was just trying to figure out a way to help her get her business started okay um and so we you know there was this time when she was like how do i get you know part of the marketing side of having a new business is how do i get people into the store right how do i get them into the store more than once and so this idea came to like do a mystery quilt and so i said well let's do this mystery quilt and i will teach people how to do some new part of that quilt every week that they come into the store okay and they'll learn a new part of this quilt well the mystery truly was that it was a mystery to me too i didn't know what it was going to look like but i was like oh yeah and she's like what is it going to be i said it's a mystery but i'll figure it out and so that's really what launched i would say kimber bell into quilt shops is because we realized the power of bringing people back into the store week after week learning something new right something they never thought they could do before we had people that signed up for this mystery that had never sown a stitch in their life wow but they knew that there would be good instruction and and they would learn you know a new hobby right anything and so it was a fun social thing to do there were people that were like i don't know how to sew i've never sewn a stitch in my life but i heard from my hairdresser that this was fun so i'm here to sign up for this mystery for fun that's amazing and that actually was this is kind of interesting becky that you'll like hearing because um it has a little something to do with candy corn quilt shop here so this is back in 2011 when she opened her store and we started this first mystery quilt it was called home is where the haunt is right okay right well now fast forward we're now in 2021 10 years 10 years later and we've now come full circle if you will to a new quilt called the candy corn quilt shop well there's a row of three witches on that quilt that are all holding a little mini quilt that is a replica of a kimber bell quilt and one of those witches is holding the home is where the haunt is so that is fun little story but then soon after that it was my first quilt market i said let's go to quilt yeah let's give it a shot and see what happens right never thinking that i would want to you know get into physical product actually have a warehouse i've all been like oh that seems overwhelming well yeah so now i know why but and now we're you know almost at 100 employees here at wow and we have um you know amazing teams right that make kimber about what it is today it's not because of who i am it's because of all of their you know their work and their creative efforts and uh their dedication to to doing what they love and doing it for people you know out there experiencing it and you can really really tell that it doesn't matter what it is when you go into a quilt shop and you see kimber bell you just look and it's like oh fun oh glitter sparkle oh yeah yeah um and just just yeah oh it's just you're right it's still and it's still fun 10 years later it's still fun it is it is still so much fun and we're just i feel like we're just getting started too we have so many ideas that's a great future you guys hear that lots of ideas more fun to come so many fun plans they are coming on their way for sure yeah i can't wait it's going to be a lot of fun and i am really looking forward to candy corn quilt shop i saw that on your website and i said yeah yeah and becky's doing a so long i will put links to everything when the time comes and when you guys are ready to ship out hey let me ask you have you had any kind of backup with covid a lot of companies have said that it's been yeah it's been rough on your website i think i saw that candy corn was going to ship sometime in august are you still on track for that yes i believe it's shipping next week okay i believe great yes that's awesome so the fabrics the patterns yes and all the embellishment kits will be out next week we're going out next week okay i think they're shipping important to that that when because you're going to make mistakes yes and when it happens and then and you're going along and then you need to burst yeah here we go don't freak out don't die over it it's fine yeah we can fix this but i think that's why people love following your tutorials is because you're real and you connect with you know your your followers and so i think that's awesome well hopefully we make a great team right all right that's the beauty of a handmade project it doesn't have to be perfect yeah that's right what do you call it you personalized or customized yes customized that's one of a kind yeah so you all know that keith makes all of the seam ripper and stiletto combos that we sell on our store site right now the store is closed because we are on vacation but as soon as we get back in a couple of weeks it'll be back open and he made a whole bunch before we left so i can't wait to try it did you yeah okay so happy you're here i am here with kim christopherson current one this is uh some blocks from home sweet home and then we actually took a little miniature quilt of uh this sprinkle sunshine and hung it from the trees so cute it looks like the outdoor quilt show at sisters that's adorable and so you're gonna see throughout the building a lot of different types of kimber bell projects scattered throughout because we might as well decorate the building with our projects absolutely right yeah that's right yeah okay so lead the way and go over here um these pictures that we have in the entryway are some of the the most recent uh kimber bell releases uh that there are you guys recognize this right you guys remember making this red white and blue yes okay and then this is brand new becky do you have this one yet this is curated home for the holidays i do not i would love to make that with my viewers that would be fun okay come on in this is uh oh my goodness we'll show you the wall of pictures right really fun spots we love being able to think back over the years these are employees and all employees how nice we've had a whole lot of fun over the years we really need to update this wall it's grown tremendously yeah you could and stuff so a lot of those awesome videos that you're seeing out there we owe it to that guy that's awesome yeah great all right so over in this area is our marketing group so hi everyone okay hey or if it's you know in magazines or wherever you see marketing materials from kimber bell um including bella box and all kinds of other really great stuff coming out that is from these uh people right here amazing talent yeah yeah a lot of times oh events too kimber bell events right we're going to be talking about a little bit later okay great all right within this group perfect and um so and then who's this back here this guy these two guys back here we've got two kimber kimber fellas right that's right kimber fellas yeah so of course you probably know keith right to your viewers yes remember keith he's the one who makes my seam rippers the same rippers and stilettos yeah and then this is my husband ryan uh we call him the original kimberfella but he is a whole lot more than just that here he's the ceo of our company and uh really is quite the leader here we made it we're super excited to have becky and keith here and all of you who are watching i figured that you were probably inundated with estrogen and i needed to bring another guy [Laughter] the same way it's just everything is girl girl girl all the time all the start putting in some of your requests for us we'll see what we can make happen as it says welcome to 18 yeah okay great wayne can i turn on the light in here wayne we speak the same language i'm a cyber security analyst oh my goodness so why don't you tell her viewers what you do besides cause trouble i cause lots of trouble because that makes job security yes exactly trying to figure out you know next stage of the website maybe an app lots of stuff so so you're like you're the web guy the end user support guy the network guy the server guy my printer's broken right you're that guy oh yeah and and thanks for talking to talk you too it's nice to meet you you get each other's language i do it's poof for me yeah upstairs is the product development room and that's really a lot of fun so you're going to love that it's not like top secret stuff oh no well maybe maybe i don't know did they hide things we'll see okay of course there's jamie there hi jamie's our uh creative um marketing director creative director she's amazing yeah amazing so sweet yes met her earlier okay yes wow which one of your viewers would not love a room like this today is just incredible wow i thought my room was big this is amazing we this is an amazing team they put out so much product but what i love about this team in particular is they are so meticulous about making sure everything is step by step by step yes that's something that we talked about earlier right how important that is right and they make it happen and so they're testing on every brand a machine there is we've got all the brands here we want to make sure it's going to work on your machine when you stitch it out and that's awesome because i do have a lot of my viewers will write me and say oh i saw you use that on a brother will it work on my husband right yes it will yes and that's great that's the wonderful thing about kimber bell designs is that you guys really get into the nitty gritty and make sure that it's going to stitch out on every machine in every size yeah yeah nothing leaves this and goes out to the market without it having been tested on every brand sure and in every site sure i love shores okay they're awesome and then they're taking the step-by-step pictures they're writing the directions it's just i love the directions that you guys do yeah it's amazing tanya can we visit for a minute hi this is ty she is our product uh development manager okay i'm becky thompson from power tools with dread nice to meet you i'm tanya tell them a little bit about this is so becky's viewers out there on youtube you know what what's a typical day like here at kimber bell in the product development room so a typical day will include um everybody will get together for stand-up meetings so every team gets up we talk about what we worked on yesterday what we're working on today what hold ups we might have and product owners are there to approve things check designs make sure that they're going exactly right and then they plan what they're going to work on for the rest of the day and so we're checking in daily making sure everything's trying to hit our deadlines making sure we're having accuracy mistakes are our favorite thing up here we want to find them all yes that's our goal that's a great slogan mistakes are our favorite i love that yeah yeah the mistakes we don't want you don't want the end user finding them right you want to find them first we want them to have a good experience absolutely and we really think of you know the end user that's in their 60s and 70s as well as the 10 year old user right you want someone to be able to pick up our instructions and have a successful experience that is so evident too in your in your projects because i have never not had something from kimber bell stitch out great never i mean and and usually if it doesn't stitch out great it's not kimber bell's fault it's my fault or [Laughter] yeah and because you know or you get a bird's nest and those things happen and but yeah but it's never been the designs and you you can tell that you guys work really hard on that and i love importance yes for sure yeah everyone have a good experience like you said whether you're a beginner and have never touched a machine before or you've been doing this for years right right that's why i love the instructions so step-by-step page instructions where you can put your screen your fabric pieces right on them and you know i'm going to do this and then you need to change your thread color right here and you need to i like that i love becky that you recognize that yes i love that you guys don't take it for granted that people ought to know to do this we don't assume anything yeah you can't yeah make it as user friendly as possible very intuitive and why on my channel i've told people i think you need to start with kimberbell kimberbell is a great place to start because you're going to get the instructions that you need if you don't have a class and then you're going to be able to do them exactly like you need to and you're going to have a successful outcome because if a user doesn't have a successful outcome on their first time they're going to put it down about it they don't want it's too much trouble i don't like doing that so i always tell my users that kimber bell is a great place to start for beginners i hope our whole team was so hard well and it is it definitely shows days ago she's learning all the ropes oh good yeah on testing and such and uh you know we've got great teachers and educators to to help everyone get up to speed testing yeah this is and what a fun lucy and i am a product assurance specialist so um i'm learning how to take pictures step-by-step pictures of everything and how to run the machines because i have a different one at home and you've got a great teacher here and katie kitty tell them about what you do hi i'm katie um i do a little bit of everything i do some training with our new employees and i do a little bit of testing editing the instructions she's also what i might refer to as the machine whisperer you know because if there's a problem with the machine usually katie can figure it out okay i'm jensen and i'm a product assurance specialist like delia and katie um i work on the machines i test out all your projects make sure they work out perfectly and help with the instructions i help them save out files so they go on your machines correctly and it's a lot that we do probably fundamental variety what's fun about these ladies harry i've got to give you a little insider here so we've got the candy corn quilt shop coming out really soon which i know you're going to do right yes so excited about that but we have some images of three witches and those pictures are so cute and that would be jensen and jesse where did she go jessie and katie and they were the three that actually worked on that project that was one of their projects and so we said why not make them now witches and so we dressed them up in full witch gear and the makeup and the costumes and everything so those are the gals that are in jensen all right we've got michelle here hi michelle tell us what you do i am a product assurance specialist yeah you know the last thing you've been seeing on the camera [Laughter] so what are you working on now right now we are working on the next box oh yes indeed and that's going to come out probably no i don't know if i dare say fall and it's it's a fun one it's it's going to be a fun christmas socks awesome can't wait until we're coming your way becky i can't wait to see you all right it's your time carrie so a product insurance specialist on the box events team working on bella box and some dealer excuse exclusive programs so that is wonderful are you doing some uh editing right now it looks like absolutely regular exclusive editing i recognize the orange with the white dots yes very kimber bell and carrie has out actually done some of our videos too online as well so some tutorials so yeah we we love carrie okay let's head on over here hey shira hi this is my friend becky from power tools hi red tell her viewers what you do here who you are i am kind of a little bit of everything i am over sample makers so when a quilt needs to be made up to go out to distributors or whatever i have a group of ladies that are kind of the secret society nobody really sees them here but i sent make the kits up send it out to them and then they make them and bring it back and i make sure that it's done nicely and ready that's my main thing and then i kind of get to do a little bit of testing here and there to help kind of what we would call a floater right going whatever team needs some help in charge of inventory so i order thread and fabric and stabilizer i'll make sure everybody keeps their stations these are our kimber blanks and they have an open side seam because you know how fast it is to hoop onesies baby five kimber bell on it look at this oh oh you just wait yeah oh i know that is adorable okay okay grandmas [Laughter] grandmas to be and you know what the timber blanks so this is adorable yes you can just lay this flat yes you can hear the machine you can flip it or you could float it yeah well so what i normally do with a regular onesie is i take them apart on the now you don't have to that is and it's already searched right we have them in uh great colors so they're already searched so this is give you a real professional look yeah it's just soft they are soft oh my gosh and pl oh this is this is so soft against baby's skin very high quality i like it okay you guys so now what you do we'll see you at home with somebody you have to pin this together and make sure the seams match and stitch it down and how simple is that yeah smart yeah i love this we have a whole series of these open side seam concept blanks yes and this is just one of them i think that's fabulous yeah i'll say i need another grandbaby well don't we all right tell me what it is you do so i um i'm actually over the fill in the blank line now if you've heard of that i have a program and so it's my job to um create the product that we release to shops every month for their fill in the blank okay yeah so i get to start from the design and then we put it on a blank sometimes it's an existing blank sometimes we create a new blank for it okay and then from there we um test it and create exactly what we want to market to the shops from like up here right product development and then i get to help with the packaging and i get to help with um getting all the information on the website i get to and a whole lot of timelines a lot of time yeah well you do a great job because anything that hits the stores it's like seamless it just it's great yeah though right yeah but i just got to change it but they work their magic yeah yeah she's humble she's she's running the ship she's the captain start with like the conception of an idea all the way to save it that's wonderful and i think the show that's what is so uh fun for you right as a product manager is to see it go from a to z and see the the fruits of your labor so you come up with ideas and say what if we did this and then you get to see that be become the birth of the baby you get to see that right a little bit okay fabric yeah yes love it so we love the rainbow here yes a fabrics cute this way we got all of our scrap fabrics over here i'll just take that yeah exactly oh and your and your uh background quilting yes so these are test test outs yeah adorable fun stuff yes oh my goodness you gotta see this awesome yeah okay you're gonna love meeting these folks over here hi guys hi i love working here so my name is morgan and i do the formatting for the instructions and a little bit of editing as well good job yeah well done yeah you know one thing that becky mentioned earlier and i so i want you guys to hear this too from from her is just how much she appreciates the step-by-step directions and all of the editing the layout the digitizing everything goes so well go ahead and share with that with them one of the things that i think is really important especially for machine embroiders is a successful outcome from the beginning because there are so many who don't understand even when you say well you need to use this kind of stabilizer and they're like well what is that and for you guys to come up with the stabilizers and then to say in this picture there's this image of this little blue teardrop looking thing that's water soluble and it tells it's so specific and it gives the the the um the creative in front of her machine that she's terrified of the um the she's got faith that it's going to come out and it gives her confidence and they'll sit down and just start going through it step by baby step and next thing you know they've made it and i cannot tell you the number of comments on my videos emails i receive that tell me i could not have done this if you hadn't have walked me through it and shown me and given me the exact instructions and i tell people when i start to do a video tutorial i'll say okay you guys here's the instructions pull this up here's what page we're on we're going step by step so the work you do is so incredibly important that to the success of kimber bell and to the success of my viewers that are sitting on the back end of the machine yeah so it's it's huge it's awesome isn't that awesome you guys yeah thank you becky that i think that means a lot we don't you know you don't always hear i think they always hear the end consumer side of things right and what a difference it's made but becky does a lot of different types of projects and stuff and you know that i do different projects with different companies all the time and i always tell my viewers start with kimber bell because kimber bell is going to be the one that gives you those basic step-by-step instructions you guys don't assume they know anything and that is so incredibly important that that you do that it is so incredibly important and and it makes them all feel good when they and you i mean they'll throw a picture up on the facebook group i've got about almost 10 000 members in my facebook group and they'll throw a picture up and go i did it and and i'm like really oh it's wonderful yeah it's wonderful you should see all the red white and blooms that are all over my channel they pop up everywhere tell us who you are and what you do and how many days you've been with us i am also on the layout team and i have been here i think this is my eighth day okay so far yeah good he's picked up on things fast do you know how to embroider i do now ah okay he he went through a boot camp right yeah you would be surprised i will talk to so many people in the industry and the first thing i'll ask like i was talking to somebody from a fabric company and i said are you a quilter and she was like well not really and i thought okay yeah so yeah i totally get that where yeah but it's a great world isn't it it is yeah all right becky so i'm becky also and i am an editor here at kimberbell and i added the instructions yeah that's great good job yeah good job yeah good job i love it i'm doing digitizing here and i love it here at gibraltar been here for a couple years yeah so what is digitizing what do you do we take kim's great artwork and then we completed the stitches test tests out there refinements and changes sometimes things don't translate real well from a drawing to stitches really have to pay attention i hope you weren't offended then when i was doing red white and bloom and i did those three pinwheels at one time and i color sorted to get it all to do at one time i got done trimming that out and i said oh my god you guys that was miserable i would not want to do that again oh boy but they turned out yes they turned out adorable we have a phrase here who cares how long cute takes that's oh that's great you need that right up on the wall right up there who cares who cares how long and that's one of the things my viewers do like about my channel is i'll tell them straight up yo that's not fun okay that wasn't fun i don't want to do that again but then there are people who just eat it up and they love it yeah yeah i don't know who they are yeah that was awful that was awesome all right i'm i've been here a really long time yeah she's responsible for a whole lot here okay um including teaching new digitizers how to do it but all of like our um sewing books and embroidery books okay and that kind of thing that is jeanette's baby as well awesome yeah awesome that's great and she's really good and all of our digitizers have become really good at this of creating a you know conceptual idea of how something could work in the hoop right and then making it happen yeah perfect awesome that's awesome yeah we call her a genius so you're working with split designs and all that kind of stuff too to make all that happen yeah great yep all of these okay and i'm sharon i've been here a little over a year and i have been riding the fill in the blank sewing versions and i am transitioning to digitizing learning that so great to meet you all it's such a pleasure i'm a big fan bye these are all just you know past quills yes timberbell quilts and stuff gotta use them to decorate a little bit all right here here is one of our warehouses the other one's across the road here oh my word a lot going on down here oh my goodness hi guys hi they are kidding it looks like a halloween thing are you guys kidding candy corn quilt shop we are kidding candy corn quilt shop right now the embellishment kit so that is wonderful awesome let's go ahead i am so excited to do that quilt and you guys are qui kidding candycorn quilt shop i'm doing a sew along on that on my channel yeah can't wait yeah so one of these go ahead and take a look let's pee oh my gosh oh wow look at that so this is the embellishment kit yes so this goes around this is a measuring tape of course ribbon and it goes around the waist of the the widgets which is so cute and then we've got these little plastic bolts that you wrap fabric around for uh little bolts of fabric but you guys i don't want to mess this up you guys have it just perfect so one of the things that i think makes this quilt so unique and fun is that we have the row of three witches that are all holding a kimber bell quilt and so we have actually miniaturized this this was the very first kimber bell quilt that ever came out it's called home is where the haunt is and then many of your viewers will probably recognize this one this is the twilight boulevard bench pillow and then this is some of our machine embroider by number projects that we did and so each of the witches on the quilt is holding that up it's so cute and then do you have the little button set these are little hands of the witch and that is what is holding on to those mini quilts okay so those are their hands and then we've got the candy corn flowers and then each of these like ghosts and the small candy corn flower and the bats are little tops to the pin cushion so that's on there and then you may recognize this design this is from bench buddies and it says welcome my pretties and this little button sits on the couch it's a tufted couch how cute becky it's to die for you and a little black cat sits on the couch too so those come exclusively in the embellishment kit yeah these guys are responsible for kidding all of our event kits i love that you're doing this in the u.s yeah yeah i love that and that means a lot to my viewers that that when they buy kimber bell they're supporting a us-based business yeah you know even if some products are made over products sure yes but you're employing people in the united states in utah yeah to put it all together it's not being put together overseas and then being shipped here i think that's amazing thank you so about how many of these kits would you do what do you what did you what did you uh how many did you do a lot because they're going to quilt stores all over the united states yeah right that's great uk it's pretty exciting that is exciting yeah yeah let's go ahead and we'll go back into the the lobby area okay well actually i'll show you let's look over here at the um let me find a thanks girls appreciate it bye um i want to show you the event kits right here hello how are you good good okay so we have event kits um that are already pre-packaged and when a shop who's certified wants to host one of these and it sounds like you've been i have been to some at all brands yeah and rosemary castillo is a great instructor so a kimber bell event and you guys need to look and see if a quilt shop near you is having one what they do or if or you might ask definitely you can do them virtually right because of covaz so that's great that you have done that for everybody so what a what an event is is you order the kit that you want to make for the event they'll send it to you in the mail or you'll get it as part of your kit when you get to where you're going you know to the shop and then it's a step-by-step instruction and they tell you and this is everything before the theme to make all the projects so this is our newest one it was packed so full becky that we actually have another yellow insert that we had to attach with ribbon because it would not fit in there we want to give them everything they need to leave with completed projects so you're going to get all the pre-cut fabrics right the embellishments if there's zippers if there's a pillow form then we're going to include that and a roll of tape paper tape yes and i love the tape dispenser oh yeah yeah you and i both for sure so anyway this is our newest one because you can see here each of these wow our different events and the kits that go with them so a two day event is going to come on in an orange bag whereas a one-day event is going to come okay a little bit smaller yes and i i've done these and so in these you get uh you get your buttons your pins you get your lanyards a lot of people like to collect those i've got several and everything that you need the ribbon all the little embellishments is there yeah and then we've got shipping over here okay and they're shipping out to quilt stores right yep wow all right shipping and receiving yeah without without the uh the nitty-gritty of this none of this happens right yeah it's true hi guys hey hi joanna
