I was in hysterics for the majority of that. Up in the all time classic talk show segments. When Jimmy said at the end "Let me show you my new Nintendo" ... I absolutely lost it.

I reckon Jimmy was high that night. It's the only explanation.
I was trying to work out the dates and ages. Fallon mentions that he might have been on SNL at the time. He was a cast member for six seasons, from September 1998 through May 2004. He was born in September 1974, so he would have been 24 to 29 during that period. He married Nancy Juvonen in December 2007, and I found some news reports saying that they'd only met seven months earlier. Kidman met Keith Urban at some point in 2005 and they married in June 2006. So both of them met and married their current spouses long after he left SNL, which doesn't narrow down that end of the timeline at all.
But Kidman separated from Tom Cruise in early 2001, so that sets a lower limit. She was born in June 1967, making her nearly seven years older than Jimmy, and 33 at the time of her separation. That means there was a roughly three year window from 2001 to 2004 where she was between 33 and 36 years old and he was 26 to 29.
