praise the lord church i'm so grateful that you're here gathered together with us for this time of worship this time that we have set apart to hear the word of god to get direction from god i have no doubt that god is going to do what he has done week after week he's going to speak into our lives the holy ghost is going to move the spirit of god is going to set us free to receive everything that god has for us amen i just want to encourage you today that if you do anything this morning let it be done in the name of jesus christ and let it be done under the unction of the holy spirit i believe the spirit of god wants to usher us into this time period to this moment in time that we set apart for the lord it's not just an ordinary time period it's not like going to work it's not like having your morning coffee it's not like doing anything else that you could do it's not like having lunch or dinner it's not like any other holiday or family event amen this is a divine time that we have set apart for a divine encounter with god it is a sacred encounter it is a sacred time amen and the best thing that we could do is just give over this time completely to the will of god whatever god wants to do amen it's all right if he wants to take over this service if he wants to take over our homes if he wants to sweep through our living rooms and any other place that we should be we're going to give him permission we're going to open ourselves up to the power of the holy spirit and god is going to descend from on high why don't you pray with me and join us today join with us today to give this time over to god let's just raise our hands let's raise our voices let's raise our voice to god lord father we come before you jesus this morning we recognize god that this time right now it is different it is sacred it is separated god unto you lord jesus we consecrate ourselves we consecrate our hearts and our minds we consecrate god our lives we consecrate god our families right now god for the move of the holy ghost lord i pray god that you would just come down father and take dominion god we are already yours we have been claimed by your blood we have been claimed by your name we belong to you god and take ownership and claim and dominion father and we will be sure to praise you we will be sure to worship you we will be sure to lift up our voices and exult your name this morning your name that is above every other name well i feel the holy ghost this morning church and i know god is going to move so powerfully let's continue in this vein of the spirit and let's just worship god with everything we have this morning god bless you as the praise team comes one more time let's worship the lord this morning jesus we love you we glorify your name jesus lord we were jesus we need you daily lord what a blessing of the lord it is to be a children of his to be ish he is our shepherd and we are the sheep of his pasture and today he cares about us this morning and as you and there is no healer greater than you and right now we ask right now let your spirit be poured out upon all flesh in these last days we asked that you'll touch stockton california that you'll touch the state and that you'll touch this country that you'll touch our president in jesus name that you'll touch vice president pence in jesus name that you'll touch our governor and our city mayor and councilmans and council women lord let your spirit reign upon all those elected officials that are within our midst let your will be done in this city and in this community jesus we speak to the north we speak to the south we speak to the east and the west that it must give up the souls that belong to you those that once do you and those that have never heard your name we ask right now that you will draw them into you and into your presence jesus we ask that your healing miraculous power be upon every member of our church that has been influenced by some ailment right now in jesus name by your stripes we are healed we speak your healing in jesus name and in faith let that you put your heads of protection around our ministry jesus and around our members jesus you are our shepherd and we are the sheep of your pasture we love you and give you glory and honor and praise let your will be done in our midst jesus [Music] we give you all glory we give you our praise and honor and we put our faith and trust in you and you alone jesus thank you lord it's now time for our sunday morning tithe and offering i want to encourage all of you when you give your tithe and offering not to just go through the motions turning it into a tradition or a ordinance of the church but to take that tithe and offering lay that before the lord and tell the lord exactly what you're doing god i'm taken 10 of all of the substance that you have given me first i want to thank you for what you've given me and second i want to let you know that i'm not holding back on you but i bring this willingly and with joy in my heart that you've provided so much for me when we speak of our offering tell the lord said god i love you so much i know i'm not required to give this offering like i am the tithe but i want you to know that my heart is filled with thanksgiving and this is a love offering to you jesus and when you pray over it you can remind god of his promises to rebuke the devourer to give back to morning christian life center and everyone that is worshiping with us today great spirit of the lord and i feel his presence and today i am going to talk about uh discouragement depression and god's solution to the victory over this and yesterday while i was in study in prayer i was felt like the lord began to lay on my heart this subject to talk to god's people about and discouragement is something that's very very real depression is something that is very much [Music] of effects effective in so many areas of our life and i want to talk to us about that however before we do i want to make mention that as a church we have went almost five and a half months in a few weeks it'll be six months without gathering together we are going to gather back together here shortly we're working on a plan for that um i feel like that as christians we have done our best to [Music] obey and be submitted to the civil authorities governors city county health organizations and even the judges although we do have some very corrupt and wicked and evil judges that hate god hate christianity and are so politically entwined that anything that has to do with the church they're against but even those judges we've done our best to submit to but at a certain point i believe like peter when they said you can't preach in the name of jesus anymore they came to a place they said uh should we obey man rather than god and the rhetorical question was obviously there's just sometimes you've got to obey god and god said forsake not the assembling of yourselves together so much more as you see the day approaching and we have a mandate in the scripture together together we still will use caution we'll have social distancing we'll have some very strict laws rules rather there won't be laws so much but there'll be rules that we expect everyone to abide by until this pandemic or whatever you want to call it is uh you know either normalized or people are just kind of used to it but we are going to open up here shortly i i heard just recently my wife told me that a big great victory for john mcarthur and his church in southern california a judge ruled that they could go back to church but they needed to obey and wear the mask and everything so they were excited about that and then a judge above them has overruled that threatening jail or prison time plus a thousand dollar day fine truly we're coming to a place where the democrats and i will say that because this is a democrat state and if you're a democrat that's your problem but the democrats have radicalized against the church against normality against the red white and blue against everything that's important and they want to keep us out of church mainly it's their rulings it's their statements it's their judges that are after christians christianity i got a word for them there is a god a judge of all mankind who's going to have the last say and they need to get on board with what god wants his people to do or god will remove them and deal with him and i'm not talking through election i really believe we've come to a place where it wouldn't be nothing for god to remove them by removing their life if they continue to withstand or putting some ailment on them that refuses to allow them to do their thing and we don't want that that's not uh when i say we don't want that i i don't think that would be god's plan god's plan would be that they would humble themselves quit politicizing this and let the churches get back doing what they do best and that's gathering to worship and lift up the name of jesus and so it is my intention as the pastor after six months of listening to all this nonsense politics ugliness hatred toward us to say enough is enough and we're going to move forward and so if you're nervous about that as a christian and you don't want to gather in the church you watch online please there is no pressure and we want you to do that uh we want you to hear the word of god whichever way you can but for many of us uh six months becomes a breaking point on a place of an acceptability and we're going to make some changes there so within the next few weeks we'll have some kind of plan worked out maybe there'll be a judge that is uh looks over this crackpot judge that has ruled overruled the one that ruled that john macarthur could open his church and maybe we'll have more authority and rule against him who knows what's going to happen so but i do know there is a judge that is above all judges and i appealed made an appeal in that court in prayer the other day and i feel like he's ruled in our favor and that's the judge we're going to be listening to so um just wanted to place that there and let you know where i'm stand as a pastor what i'm thinking and these are exciting times people can't have miracles if they're not sick people can't have deliverance if they're not in bondage people can't see the hand of god when there's no need for god to manifest people cannot pray and have answered prayers when there's no request worth god answering and so i think we're living in a time where god is in a place where he wants to do great things and today i want to talk about discouragement and i want to talk about depression i believe that depression and discouragement have two major sources in this world that we live i believe there is a third force that it comes from but there are two that are major one is from the human mind and what we allow to incubate and what we allow to turn over and what we allow to think upon the human mind is a very powerful instrument that god has given us if you have a sound mind if you are not a crackpot your mind is working properly it has the ability to think on good things or negative things it has the ability to put you into depression or to put you into excitement it has the ability to latch onto hope or it latches on to discouragement but it starts between your ears it starts right here in this thing we call a brain a mind that is a spiritual and physical interwoven organ of your body connected to your human spirit and what you allow in that mind is going to have a lot to do with how you feel about life how you look out the window and what you see when you look out the window of life the second is the devil there are spirits now for you that don't believe in demonic forces and don't believe in the devil and think that it's just a representative uh concept of good and evil of of bad and and and things like that and it just means that it's it's it's a it's we we personify uh sorrowful things bad things evil things you got a rude awakening someday there is a literal devil that is not a personification of evil or bad but he is the perpetrator of it the bible says of satan that he is the father of lies he's not the personification of a lie but he is the founder of lies bible law says he is a murderer from the beginning two things in this world that have filled the world with violence and have lied with philosophies and concepts that have filled the minds of the unregenerated man and the unsuspected christian and the liberal that has come to life to embrace the things that are against the principles of the word of god and so we have a literal demon of satan rather that has a horde of demons that work with him now only god is omnipresent only god can be everywhere at one time only god we say god we meet the god of the bible not all these other gods out there that people name gods but we're talking about the living true god and my bible tells me that he can hold a conversation with every human being in this world at one time it can be personal it can be intimate it can be to the point and have his undivided attention and as bill as many billions as there are if every one of them went to god they could have that same conversation simultaneously that's what makes god or one of the things that makes god different than any other satan on the other hand is a spirit that is maybe 7 10 12 feet if you were to measure in the the earthly world's measuring sticks at his normal height he can change forms he can present himself as an angel of light he can present himself as a destroyer he can present himself as all kinds of nasty stuff but he normally is a beautiful chair of angel that has a certain height and that angel called satan rebelled against god was cast out of heaven and took his vindictive spirit against all that god was all that god is and all that god has created in creating creation and humans that are the creatures of creation and so he is a very wicked wicked person and he primarily uses his voice to bring destruction to people and so we got these two sources there is a third source that i said is not a first or a secondary but it is a source that is worth mentioning and that is the events around us the uh the world that we live in and in a way it kind of connects to what happens in the mind but the environment that you live in has a lot to do with how your mind will be triggered to go into bouts of depression so basically you have the human mind you have a devil that is the enemy of your soul and you have an environment around you now the one thing that you have to understand is that you cannot always escape the environment and so the environment cannot have the power to depress you or discourage you although most people allow the environment to make them feel the way they feel act the way they feel and do the things they do based on what's going on around them if discouragement was that powerful and depression was that powerful then god would be weak for my bible tells me the very opposite it says greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world that means that whatever the environment around me is perpetrating toward me if i'm not able to change the environment i am powerful enough to control my mind from being destroyed or being influenced or being controlled by what is happening outside around me praise the lord and i want to preach this morning and teach this morning on depression and discouragement and how it affects every generation it affects the small it affects the great it affects the powerful it affects the weak it affects the child of god it affects the sinner and the child of satan it doesn't matter if you are a human being you are going to face discouragement if you are a human being you are going to face this uh depression from time to time and so there are things in life that cause us to be depressed what happens when someone gets depressed they have mood swings they swing back and forth one minute they're over here and everything is fine and dandy and happy and happy-go-lucky and they're seem to have excitement about everything and they're kind to people and the next move they swing over here and they turn into a raven monster or they recluse in and they lose their ability to function in a normalized way with people and they have this martyred victim spirit that gets all over them and it just kind of emanates like a athlete working out hard and the sweat pouring out of their pores and touching everything that they touch and that kind of a spirit gets out did i talk to anybody just here for a moment depression is real discouragement is real discouragement has the ability to make a person feel like they are worthless that they don't have value it makes them think their life is not important it makes them feel powerless then it moves into a place where it makes them feel that they're not worth anything and so worthlessness becomes part of the tools of depression and discouragement there is that loss of interest people at one time were excited they woke up in the morning or they look forward to doing something now some of that is there's change with time and life at different stages of life obviously when i was a kid and christmas came along i was excited to get up and go and open my presents on christmas day i like that today it's not a big deal because i pretty much have more than i need i live in a country and god's blessed me although i'm grateful there's not that little kid excitement so stages of life when i was a little older having a bicycle and being able to go out and ride and and play with my friends that was exciting but as i got older that's not so exciting the bicycle simply to get the blood flowing in my toes and to make sure that my joints don't lock up on me and and sometimes i want to skip right in the bike but uh but when i was younger it was like man i couldn't wait to get out there when i was younger i hated school i hated school with a passion i can't say that i love it but i hated to read books i unless it was like maybe a hearty boy book or or something like that or maybe even when i got a little older a lewis lemur books that didn't have anything to do kind of extracted you from the real world and put you in a world where the the the good guys won and the bad guys lost which is not always the case in the real world we wish that it was but but that was about them the most of it and uh and i hated doing that i remember even going to bible college and and having a couple of teachers that were so boring and i'm sure you still have a few teachers that are boring like that and i'd sit in the very back of the class and open my books put everything out and get my lewis lamour out and i just zoned out and you know what i got a good old fat f in that class but boy i had a good time reading those louis lemours through that in school i tried to do the same thing but my teacher was more suspecting or more uh she was more suspicious than my college professor was was sitting at the back of the class and uh and and but then something happened in me and i began to enjoy reading and studying and learning and and there was an excitement so that there was a mood change that went the other way for good versus for bad uh i've met people that used to love to to to take a vacation and to get be at a party and then life changes and they get so so we have things that that change upon us uh i've met people that used to pick joy making money today that's not really the big deal they just want to enjoy some of the the fruit of their labor in life that's not depression that's life that is being a human on the other hand when people have quick swings and people change from things that should be normal for that stage of life and the people that they're surrounded with and they lose interest they lose interest in spending time with their family they lose interest in visiting with their friends they lose interest in in the things that that kind of keep life sparked in life exciting and life worth looking forward to and and something to get you out of bed the next morning that they lose interest in even praying or or going to church or reading their bible this is what depression will do it will demobilize you and destroy what you used to be depression causes your concentration and what i mean by that it causes you not to be able to concentrate on the things that have value you just got a one track mind of the blues and and everything that's wrong and and how bad life is and how what how wrong you've been done or how wrong things are getting and you can't think beyond that it really affects people in fact depression and is considered to be a mental disorder that they give medicine to people that get depressed they get so depressed they often times say they have split personalities and and then they prescribe different types of medicines to that affect the hormones then the in the in the mind so that a person won't go into such deep depression depression causes people to want to commit suicide they give up on life they don't feel that there's any reason to live depression makes your relationships begin to be hurt people that love you and people that you love somehow that depression builds a wedge in there huh that depression causes there to be issues in relationships and so it's a serious thing when we talk about it this uh it causes you to lose the uh the ability and the want to uh to do what you have always wanted to do depression has a way of bringing sadness into your life you can't always know what it's about sometimes you can't put your finger and say i'm depressed because of this or i'm depressed because of this but it's like this gloom and doom and darkness and sadness just kind of settle down like a thick fog and just kind of engulf you and and no matter what you do it just gets thicker and thicker and thicker into pretty soon the way you feel inside you can't shake it you can't run from it you can't throw it away it destroys people sometimes it's because someone's had a prolonged sickness and it doesn't look like god's going to heal them or it doesn't look like the doctors have an answer or it seems to get worse and depression and discouragement sets in sometimes it's because the financial planning didn't go north it went south and what you had worked for was a didn't turn out the way and you got depressed about it sometimes it's a marriage relationship that you've counseled and you've tried to sit down and work things out but instead of getting better it's gotten worse and sometimes it seems that no matter where you go you cannot find an answer to help you and sometimes it's because god says no and you're not big enough to accept god's no you want god to always say yes like a spoiled little child that always wants a yes when they're in the candy store saying mom dad can i have this candy and mom says you haven't eaten your dinner or you haven't eaten your lunch yet no you cannot have that and they throw a tantrum and sometimes spiritually god says no because he knows that there are other things that have to come first and we throw a tantrum called depression or discouragement and we think god doesn't love us and god doesn't care i could go on and on and on but i think i have adequately covered some of the thoughts and some of the reasons and some of what depression and discouragement is it is real if you have never been discouraged and i not can't imagine that someone has not been discouraged i've been discouraged i've been badly discouraged if you've never been depressed it's hard for you to grasp someone that has struggled with depression i have been depressed i have been discouraged i've had everything go wrong i've had life fall apart i've had things that were out of my control but yet they controlled me and i didn't have much say so i felt at times like i was used and abused and taken advantage of we've all have felt that uh i felt like my efforts came to not my prayers they weren't answered or even heard by god and it seemed like the devil had a heyday and life just passed me by yes i know what discouragement is and i know what depression is but i'm not the only child of god that has face that time i want to read to you a couple of verses in the book of exodus chapter 6 today exodus chapter 6 and verse 9. it says and moses spake unto the children of israel but they hearkened not unto moses for agnes agnes of the spirit and for cruel bondage and the word there for agony or agnes is kotsar and the hebrew and it is a word that often times means to be despondent and it means to be discouraged it's the concept of losing hope because of something that prolongs itself and these children of israel they got discouraged because what god had told abraham isaac and jacob and and joseph and their their early fathers that they was going to be delivered the time of the hands of clock had ticked away and finally they were at the bottom of the barrel with whips on their back and blisters and on their hands and calluses on their knees from making bricks and doing what they had to do because they were these bond servants they were the slaves of the egyptian pharaohs and they got discouraged and so when moses came to them and he said look it he said i got a word from god and everything's gonna be all right we are going to get out of here god's promised abraham isaac and jacob though it happened a long time ago god's fixing to make good on that promise now there's something here we need to look at and we need to understand when god sends hope through a word of god in a situation when you're discouraged you must be careful that you do not look at the past and everything leading up to it and allow that to cloud your vision and stay in discouragement or stay despondent or depressed some people when they hear god's word their heart is hard and their soil is stony and no matter what god says they cannot seem to rise up against it because they are bound by what has happened in the past and what conditions they are living in and what they're allowing their mind to dwell on let me read you another in the book of numbers this is a one that i really like numbers chapter 21 and the bible says uh in numbers 21 it says in when uh king arad the canaanite which dwelt in the south heard tell that israel came by the way of the spies then he fought against israel and took some of them prisoner and israel vowed a vow unto the lord and said if thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand then i will utterly destroy their city and the lord hearkened to the voice of israel and delivered up the canaanites and they utterly destroyed them and their cities and he called the name of the place harma and they joined from mount har by the way of the red sea to compass the land of edom and the soul now listen the soul of the people was much not just a little but much discouraged because of the way now these people had just had an incredible move of god they had just had a tremendous victory god had given them god had delivered them god had done something that they prayed that he would do and he hearkened to their prayer gives them the victory over this king and this nation that had tormented them for many many years then when the miracle was through they wanted to go on a straight line which was the quickest path as the crow flies to the promised land and god said no you're not going to do that you're not going through the edomite territory but you're going to go around the long way now there's two things we notice here they were much discouraged why were they discouraged well first is every time there is a great move of god there is a letdown as the anointing and the power of god lifts off of you and you have to be careful after there's a great moving of the holy spirit after there's a great miraculous touch of god that you don't when you when that lifts off of you you are in that vulnerable state where the enemy comes in you don't have that anointing flowing through you you don't have that gift of faith on you and you've had a great move of god and that move of god now is lifted off of you and that is a time when you are at a low and very open second is they had asked god for this victory and he gave it to him but obviously god didn't give him the rest of the prayer the shortest route and so they had a move of god they got discouraged because god said you're going to go the long way and because the journey was long they got discouraged i noticed that the children of israel got discouraged because it was day in and day out they got tired of the long journey and sometimes when you're in the walk with god it's not just a 24-hour mission with him but it's a lifelong journey and there are times where you are going to get discouraged there's times your feet are going to get weary there's times you're going to get thirsty in the desert of life times you're going to want shade and you want to going to rest and you're going to want some help and god's going to say no you're going through this because i don't want you in the edomite territory i want you to go this direction and if we're not careful we will allow the hardships and the longevity of something that we're reaching for to discourage us and cause us to give up on god now when they got discouraged something happened terrible the bible said in verse 5 and thus people spake against god and against moses if you're not careful discouragement will cause your mouth to start running if you're not careful discouragement and depression will cause you to speak against god and speak against the man of god you think that's not a very bad sin or you think that's not a a big issue i'm going to tell you when god tells you to do something and you start complaining and griping against the preacher or the man or the god that spoke through the preacher and you get this little bitter in your heart toward god because he didn't give you what you wanted you're in trouble and discouragement will cloud your mind and clouds your heart where you can't think straight and we'll talk about that but i want to point this out that you have to be careful you have to guard against discouragement i've been discouraged i've been tempted to want to speak against the man of god in my life or ministers or elders in my life i've been tempted to want to speak against god and and and tell god just exactly how i felt uh and i always had enough sense never to speak against god but not always to speak against the man of god or the elders in my life and and god had a way of correcting me which i'm glad for that kind of mercy because it brought tremendous salvation and so that there was a problem here with the longevity of the journey and when you have a long journey and you have to go through some things then it's easier for your mind to begin to wear down and for you to get discouraged let's go to kings first kings and let's talk about elijah and we know the story of elijah elijah has come he has in chapter 18 he has called fire from heaven he has had a move of god and after he has a move of god uh he runs with a great speed and uh uh i mean it's just glorious we love the story of elijah on the mountain challenging the prophets of baal we love the story of the rain coming in answer to his prayer we love the story of him out running ahab's chariot but in verse 1 of chapter 19 it says and ahab told jezebel all that elijah had done and with all he had slain all the prophets with the sword and jezebel sent a messenger unto elijah saying so let the gods do to me and more also if i make not thy life as the life of one of them by the moral by tomorrow about this time and when he saw that he arose and went for his life and came to bear sheba verse 4 but he himself one a day's journey into the wilderness came and he requested himself that he might die and said it is enough now oh lord take away my life for i am not better than my fathers again we see a great move of god we see the supernatural flow and we see what god is doing there's no depression there when you're calling fire from heaven there's no depression there when you're praying and the rain starts coming there's no depression there where you're taking 850 false prophets that have led israel astray and you're able to destroy them with a sword my god that's something to get excited about that's something to have energy that's something to think the lord is with us the lord is on the throne god is great but after he did all of that the anointing lifts off of him he's down to just a regular man he just now it's time to rest we had this great service we we had these great moves of god we had these great prayer meets and and i'm kind of wore out i just need a little and all of a sudden he starts running and what happens the jezebel says i'm gonna do to you what you did to my prophets and he gets discouraged he gets depressed god why didn't you just strike her dead she's the source she's the one behind all this them false prophets were brought here because of her you know i've had a tough one with that sometimes god i've watched you deal with people that got out of line i've watched god as a pastor i've watched god as a person in the business world in the church world and even in relationships that don't have anything to do with business per se or the church but just life and i've watched god deal with them and sometimes the perpetrator the one that's really causing all the hell and stirring things up it's like they walk away scot-free it's like they get away and nothing happens oh you can get bitter at god you can feel that god doesn't love you you can feel that god's failed you you can get your eyes off all that god has done and get that single eye on that one little thing and that's what the devil wants some of you to do is to quit thinking you know what you need to take a trip down memory lane remember elijah how the widow for three and a half years fed you remember elijah how you raised the power of god remember elijah and you need to kind of go down memory lane what god remember how god rolled the red seas back remember how god put manna in the wilderness remember how god put a pillar of fire at night to lead them in a cloud to keep the sun off of them during the day caused their feet their shoes to grow so that they didn't need new shoes and their clothes to grow because they didn't have enough leather in the wilderness to make clothing and so god caused everything to just work and live sometimes we forget all the miracles because we can only see one little pinpoint of a problem that god ain't yet dealt with now in the end of the story god did deal with jezebel in the end of the story god did deal with the you know the do not exist today they've been assimilated their people are gone there's no longer any you can't find them in history you can't even find hardly any archaeology ruins of them other than maybe petra and that's with that that has some some debate on that and there's just not much left of them they're no more and 4 000 years later they're still a jews and now they have a nation with the star david and jezebel was thrown out of a window and the dogs ate her hands and her skull and it licked up her blood but he wasn't there where god was going to judge and take care of that all he could see is i had this great move of god i want to warn you after a move of god it's when you are most vulnerable to the attack of discouragement and depression i know some you think pastor are you sure but i'm positive about this when you have a move of god and you've come off a three-day fast or a seven-day fast you spend hours in prayer you've got a word of god you've preached or you've taught a bible study or you've held on to a promise and seen god do something and then you come off and it's kind of you let off that's when a lot of people fall off the wagon because discouragement and depression gets a hold of him and elijah he was here falling off the wagon so to speak and he got discouraged and he wanted suicide he wanted to die my life isn't worth living anymore that's depression my friend that's discouragement how many times have you felt like just laying down and dying i wish i could die i wish i god just saved me and take me home i don't want to live and face any of this anymore i wish you could just take me out of the world let me go to the church and just have a good one last service and let me repent of all my sins and get everything right and and everything and then after all of that just kill me and take me home i don't want to live and the sinner that doesn't know god they don't pray that kind of prayer they just go in and they take a bottle of pills and they down them and they lay down and die or they stick a gun to their head or they stick a hose in their muffler and they they suffocate themselves with the uh toxins coming out of the engine fumes that kill them or they slit their wrists and they bleed to death or whatever form why because they're depressed and they're saying just let me die and christians we're a little more scared of that because we know that your life belongs to god that's murder and there's a penalty and there's a punishment for killing yourself so we try and get god to do it for us god just take me out of the world just just i want to go i'm tired of the fight i'm tired of all the problems in other words when you get so discouraged and you get so depressed you open yourself up to where you don't want to live any longer that is the depths of dark depression and i'm preaching to some people you have come to that place at times maybe not today but in the past but some today and some tomorrow where you don't want to live any longer because what's happening in the world and what's happening in your personal world has become so bad that you just want to give up and die i'm telling you i got a message to preach to you today he just wanted to run think about it the children of israel what they wanted to do they wanted to complain they wanted to blame they wanted to strike out and so they struck out at the man of god they struck hatted god they blamed god god you didn't do it our way you failed as yes there's great miracles you've done for us but this you didn't do and we're angry with you god and so we speak against your man moses we speak against the pastor we speak against the preacher we speak against the spiritual leadership in our life we're angry with you god because you didn't do what we said you should have done and so they want to attack with their mouth hey elijah wasn't that stupid he just got so depressed that he wanted to run away and the bible says he ran and went another day's journey and then went out in the wilderness and he just kept going what was he doing he just was running from a problem you buddy you can't run from elijah uh a jezebel she's still in the palace you've still got a facer you still got to deal with her you can't keep running and running and running and running from jezebel god's got a plan for her but he has also a plan for you until he's through with you jezebel's words don't mean a thing run from it run from it run from it but it just keeps going over my mind just keeps tormenting me what she said finally i just don't want to live god i'm depressed i'm discouraged i'm despondent just kill me and take me home i've done some great things for you and they'll think of me of all the wonderful things i've done not just take me home i don't want to live any longer how many of you have felt just like elijah where you've wanted just to lay down and die you wanted to leave this world but you didn't have the guts to commit suicide because you know it's wrong and you know you'll go to hell for it but you prayed god let me die i don't want to live and then that begins to snowball in your mind and your emotions and pretty soon you get even more discouraged and i want to tell you dying is not the answer to dealing with depression dying is not the answer with dealing with despondency dying is not the answer with dealing with discouragement there's only one answer we're going to get to that in a moment but i'm telling you people that you and i look up as heroes people that had the name of god who were in covenant with god they were not immune to depression they were not immune to discouragement what about john the baptist let's go to the book of matthew john the baptist he was the greatest prophet that ever lived according to jesus under the law he was used of god to declare the coming of the lord on his first arrival to this earth he was quite a man he was a man that was special he was a man that was powerful he was a man that did what god called him to do he had crowds that rivaled the crowds of kings he had crowds that rivaled the crowds of the pharisees they got on horses and they walked by foot and they packed lunches and they walked out to where he didn't have to go to church and the people show up they went out to find him in the wilderness there was something about john he was at the height of his heyday preach and repent the kingdom of heaven is at hand why couldn't you be excited when god's using you and the crowds are huge and the roman soldiers are saying what do we need to do and the pharisees are secretly converting and the common people are saying this is a prophet from god everybody's speaking these things about you and all of a sudden here comes jesus down the pathway and you say the lord moves on you and you prophesy behold the lamb of god that taketh away the sins of the world and he comes into the water and the sky opens up in a dove and a manifestation of the spirit settles down and then you hear a divine voice say this is my son whom i'm well pleased in and then you with your own hands touch the word the living word of god and baptize him in the jordan river how much how much more does god have to do to keep you from being discouraged pardon me here i got to get a little water in my voice and no it ain't covered it's just called preaching hard and getting all the phlegm and everything in there so you know for most of us if we saw a vision with our eyes and it manifests naturally and we heard with god and then we could reach out and touch jesus with our physical hand and have a conversation lord i want you to be no no i need to be baptized to you you sure yes okay i'm going to baptize you you think that that would keep you from ever being discouraged you think that would keep you from ever being despondent you think that would ever keep you from getting depressed hey i've noticed a little pattern here every time there's a great moves of god supernatural moves and you come off of the mountain then the discouragement comes in then the devil strikes then the enemy comes again then your mind begins to wonder and the bible says and it came to pass when jesus had made an end to commanding his 12 disciples he departed thence to teach and preach in the cities now when john had heard in the prison the works of christ he sent two of his disciples and he said unto him art thou he that should come or do we look for another now john just six months ago the dove came down just six months ago the voice of the father spoke to you just six months ago your physical hands touched just six months ago you gave a prophecy about the lamb that taketh away the sins of the world and now you're questioning so we got another point here discouragement despondency depression makes you talk makes you accuse god say things against god that you should never say speak against the man of god blame somebody i won't take responsibility i won't deal with what's going on i've got to find someone to point a finger and it's going to be a spiritual leader in my life or maybe you got the elijah centrum and you just want to run put on your tennis shoes and just run and get away and and never have to face it again i don't ever want to see israel again i don't ever want to see ahab i don't want to ever see jezebel i don't want to see nobody i'm depressed i just want to run and run and run run away from it how many people have i heard say i just want to run i just want to get away from it that's depression that's discouragement teach talking through you now is it all right sometimes sorry yeah we all want to get away from things there's a there's a level of naturality there where we don't always want to uh uh face everything and but then there's a place where it's no longer just that natural uh inkling of a human being that says man i wish i could i wish i didn't have to go through this i wish i didn't but it gets discouragement to where you literally start running and there's no stopping and god talks to you like you did elijah elijah hold hey and you just keep running and running and running running and to finally you run so far and you get so discouraged and you get so down you just want to die so one you want to blame someone else speak against spiritual authority speak against the man of god the other is you just want to run and get away and run and get away and run and get away and then you want to just die and get it over with so you don't have to live and face anymore you can't bear to look at life and then you got john and now you start questioning i was absolute when i said this is the lamb of god i was absolute when i baptized him i was absolute that this was the messiah i was absolute that the kingdom of heaven was at hand but now i don't even believe what i preached i'm not even sure that the man i said was the lamb of god really is the lamb of god and discouragement will make you start questioning what god has put in you and what you know to be true that the spirit has revealed to you and you'll start questioning the word you'll start questioning what's god said you'll start questioning everything that has any value or purpose and life to you they didn't change the clock up here it says it's 48 i hope i'm not preaching that long but i am preaching a word of god to somebody today that you've got to hear what nathaniel haney's preaching to you because i'm helping some of you cause the devil has tried to get you down and tried to destroy you hear me now you've got to get to a place i said you have got to get to a place where discouragement does not control you what about naomi in the book of ruth in fact let's read a little bit of it let's go to ruth chapter one i could take any one of these people and i could literally preach a whole message just on them but i'm just using some peoples today that are in different places that i think will help you and will help you find um help you find yourself where god wants you to be because if we don't get to this place we're going to find ourselves being destroyed so ruth's husband has died ruth's son has died and then ruth's second son has died and she's walking with two of her daughter-in-laws chapter 1 verse chapter 1 we start with verse 13 through 19 20 21 somewhere in there it tells a story and she says you can all go and she makes the statement she said i am in bitterness of soul i am discouraged now look at naomi when famine came to israel you did something stupid you left the promised land that god promised to the k to abraham you're the covenant and you left it and bad things happened and now you're upset and you think that god didn't do you right how many times have people not lived for god not followed god not god done what god wanted get themselves in a mess and get discouraged based on what you have done not the devil i see some of you there you're saying oh that don't don't go there pastor haney oh i'm going there today you drank yourself to sickness you drugged yourself to your veins or claps you've had that flirtation at the job until your marriage is in trouble you foolishly gambled your money to your broke you've made investments without the ability to know what an investment was you told your boys that what the preacher preached wasn't that important and now they don't want to live for god and flirting with homosexuality and wanted to have fool of the world and you sit there and all bitter at the preacher and all bitter at the church and too much pride to come in and repent because you left the promised land and you put that into their heart and you drank it home and said ah that pastor doesn't know what he's talking about and you sit at the dinner table and roasted my messages and picked them apart like it was your job to say what i what i preached was right and what i preached was wrong and explain to your kids why it was wrong and now they don't want nothing to do with god they're not even respecting you anymore and now you're all bitter god why'd you do this to me i'm preaching to some people that left this church for a job just this week i was talking about two people that were good families in this church i grew up with them i knew them they were my friends but they had to get away for a better job because they weren't making enough money and the depression or whatever you want to call it the recession was on and so they packed up to move to other states where it looked like a promised land they're divorced and their kids aren't in church today you tell me what's more important the mighty dollar your family's sitting in the house of god sitting in the living room worshiping god and then they're all bitter and bent out of shape god why'd you allow that i'll tell you why god allowed it because you wouldn't commit and wouldn't hold on to the promises of god and you ran off when you should have stayed home yeah naomi her family they left went four of them went out and only one made it back and she came back broke and destitute it was gonna have to be like a beggar the rest of her life but you know what she found out how to rise above put the bitterness aside put the anger aside you know what she did she helped a young woman that was a daughter-in-law one said i'm going home she told them both to go one didn't go one stayed with her and she said ruth i'll tell you what to do to make your life better and in helping someone else she began to help herself until ruth became in the lineage of the jesus of the new testament because of naomi helping a woman that wasn't even blood relationship to her and she helped that woman to know the god of israel and the ways of israel and so she put her bitterness aside and said i got one chance to teach someone about my god that i walked away from my husband walked away from my kids walked away from to get them back where i was when i was a young woman and god honored that and it blessed her life and it caused a young woman to have a new life hey you can blame god all you want or you can throw it aside and say i'm not going to let discouragement control me despondency control me i'm gonna help someone know jesus more than they've ever known him before oh hallelujah let me give you one more today then i'm gonna close it down what about david i won't go there david has his mighty men warriors the amalekites have come and taken his children taking his goods taking his wife's his men's wives and they come back and there's nothing and the people were so discouraged you know when you lose every material thing in life that matters to you when people you love are taken out of your life it's not uncommon to want to get mad and bitter and anger and point of finger and be discouraged and feel like all hell is broke loose they were just being humans and they said we got to find someone to blame let's stone david now these were the guys that walked with him these are guys that came to him said we want you to be our leader we believe in you we're helping you but now they're turning on him and they're picking up stones and talking about it we ought to just kill david let's get some stones and let's wipe david out hey wait a minute don't you think david's a little bit discouraged too don't you think he's facing some of the same emotions that you're facing you think he's some superman that doesn't know how to cry when he looks and his children have been stolen and kidnapped with a possibility of never getting him back don't you think it hurts him when he realizes that his wife might be abused by another man and he's not even there to protect her don't you think it bothered him to think that everything he had worked for and earned it was stripped from him and he was going to have to start from the ground up you see discouragement makes you selfish discouragement and depression makes you think only about how bad your life is no one else is going through no one else has a problem like mine no one else is facing anything like this and all you can see is what you're going through but they had a leader that had more on his shoulders than all 300 of those men had he was responsible for the condition and he didn't know what to do and he was hurting like hell and the pain in his heart and he was discouraged he felt depressed he was despondent but david was a little bit different than some of the others and why they were mumbling about when they were going to stone him how they were going to stone him and what they were going to do to him he just kind of mandered off by himself and the bible said that he sat down and started encouraging himself in the lord david how'd you encourage yourself today david how how how did you get through that how did you get past the stoning how did you get past those people you thought loved you they rejected you they're talking of killing you the people that you've lived with every day they want to destroy you because they're discouraged how did you get past it well i remember what god told joshua and i figure if it worked for joshua it worked for me hallelujah and so i i did what joshua did why don't you turn with me in closing joshua chapter one hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah verse 6 says be strong in and of good courage now courage is the opposite of discouraged for unto the people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land which i swear unto their fathers to give them only be strong and very courageous that thou mayest observed to do according to all the law which moses my servant commanded thee turn not from it to the right hand or to the left that thou mayest prosper wheresoever thou goes now notice verse 8 this book of the law that's your bible lift your bible up today in your house if you don't have your bible have your wife lift hers up and then you ask it you lift hers up and give it around pass it around the living room and lift that up and say this is god's word this is the law of god come on lift it up i'm taking a few minutes here i'm i'm definitely closing but i want you to lift that book up this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth let's stop there he'd been talking about courage which is the opposite of discourage strong which is what courage brings weakness is what brings and he says it don't depart out of your mouth do you realize what you speak affects what you think turn to someone next to you and tell them that what you say affects those around you and affects you what you say has an effect on the way you think and then he said but thou shalt meditate therein day and night meditate means to muse it means to ponder it means to think it means to imagine it means to talk to yourself people meditate on things all the time they don't even realize they're meditating they get a problem in their mind or they're going on vacation or they're getting ready to buy a new boat or they're getting ready to buy a new car they're going to buy a new house or they're going to buy a new dress or they've been saving money for this and what do they do they think on it they muse on it they see themselves doing it they they and then pretty soon they talk to themselves maybe not verbally out loud but inside they're holding the conversation with themselves that's the basis of meditation in fact the hebrew word for meditation carries that low even a verbal noise such as a lion that not roars but has that low guttural growl that you kind of just hear really ooh something is around or that little dove that quietly cools and and that's the word used for that and so meditation is a little sound coming out and under your breath you're talking to yourself uh uh those that put their trust in the lord shall not be ashamed i will rebuke that devourer and and i will cause your fields to have a hundred uh return uh by his stripes i will heal you if you'll ask and you start kind of mumbling and talking to yourself talking to your spirit talking to your mind and you begin so you don't let it get out of your mouth and and and the bible said day and night so it's not like for 30 minutes a day okay i i took a pill and and it'll keep working no no you just kind of walk through the day kind of oblivious to what's going on well pastor i got to look at the news and i got to hold this conversation my friend when you're fighting discouragement you don't have to do anything except get a one-track mind on thus saith the lord and then what happens faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of god your faith starts rising when your face starts rising it's impossible to please god without faith so now you're pleasing god with faith and now your prayers begin to become effective and you begin to see change and the discouragement that wanted to destroy you no longer has the power because you've got a force called the law of god or the word of god work and david got alone he started talking about ah god anointed me i the prophet said i was gonna be the king and i ain't set on the throne yet uh i i i ain't done my greatest work for god yet yeah i've killed a lion i killed a bear i've avoided a catastrophe with saul i i killed a giant and uh and i've got some people that are following me but i ain't become the king yet uh and i'm holding on to the word of god and and my god's my salvation and my god's my deliverance my god's my help and and and he began to talk like that and all of a sudden he stood up and he said come on priest come over here tell me should i get up and go after him or should i sit here and and let these people just mill around and the word of the lord said now you're thinking david get up and go after him recover all and then men they dropped their discouragement because the leader had faith and they stood up and said we're with you david and they took off and went to battle and recovered all the spoil i want to tell you discouragement the devil bible said in second corinthians chapter 10 it said casting down every evil imagination imagination of thoughts and way of thinking and the process by which you process situations in life casting down every evil imagination that exalt itself exalt means to lift up and to magnify exalt itself against what the knowledge of god what's the knowledge of god to you and i the word of god the experiences of god the miracles of god and you may be sitting there feel like man this is the end of the road i'm planning my funeral i'm planning what to do i'm making out my will maybe not literally but in that kind of mentality i want to tell you you need to cast down those evil imaginations of discouragement that satan has put in your mind and in your heart and you need to let the lord encourage you with his word and you may say i am not in a place on the mountaintop right now in fact i'm in the valley and and i can't see because the darkness is all around me but i remember what god did for my father's eye and i remember what god did for me huh and i remember what god said he was going to do in the future and i'm not going to let this moment in time define who and what i'm going to be but i am going to have victory i refuse to be discouraged if you want to be discouraged you want to be depressed you want to be despondent you have a right to be and you're a human and it's normal but when it goes past just the fleeting rolling heels of life and becomes the mountains and the valleys and the canyons to where it literally begins a destructive force in your life that's not of god and that's not normal and that's not acceptable that's of the devil that's of your mind that you're not controlling said pastor i read the news i read it too sometimes sometimes i have to quit reading the news because it's so negative or there's things on it that i can't do anything about except pray and i'm not going to pray all day long about politics when i need to be praying for god to reach souls and god to do miracles and god to do all kinds i am going to pray about what's going on in my nation yes but i can't live in a place where i'm so depressed about these things my finances my health oh i know about having some health problems and praying and it just seems like the foot like the children of israel walking and they couldn't just go through the short path to the promised land but they had to walk all the way through the desert and then back up and it took them years and it was just hard i know what that's like but if i acted like some that i'm preaching to i wouldn't be preaching in this pulpit today i'd be at home with a pillow over my head and the covers pulled over my body trying to hide and get away and i know what that's like too and i'm not saying a little depression a little bit of just letting your unwind is is evil and bad in itself but when it begins to destroy when it begins to control when it begins to hurt others when it begins to steal faith when it begins to wreck homes when it begins to wreck the church it's not of god and right now i want to talk to a preacher that's listening to me i feel this in the holy ghost you have been discouraged and your church is starting to be affected because of the discouragement that you have been going through you need to get rid of that discouragement today and you need to step in your pulpit and you need to preach faith the rest of the year whether you feel it or not and during the day you need to get your nose in the book and you need to tell god no matter how you feel god i believe your word and i rebuke that spirit of hell that's trying to get on you and destroyed entire congregation i rebuke it in the name of jesus and command it to come off of you this is god's business not yours and you're not responsible for it you do what god told you to do he'll do what you can't do pastor who do you have in mind i have no one in mind but i get these little pulses in my spirit and i'm talking to a preacher today this is a day to have faith this is a day to be encouraged and to be strong in the lord and in the power of his might and put on the armor of god and look the devil in the face and look life in the face and say i am victorious because i've been made to sit in heavenly places with christ jesus you never you just take it all back i said you take it all back i said you take it all back in the name of jesus i plead the blood of jesus over the listeners over this church over all the saints across this nation that are hearing the word of the lord this morning i plead the blood of jesus and i want to tell you that god has made you an overcomer through christ jesus and the devil is telling you lies and your mind is embracing things that are not true get rid of the lies and accept the truth of the word of god i told you i was quitting i am but what do you think it would have been like if paul and silas sitting in prison with their backs beat would have got discouraged would have got depressed would have been despondent god let me get beat god let me go to prison god let me be done wrong god didn't stand up for me might have been about the end of the story of paul's ministry in the bible but instead of giving into depression he started clapping and singing i don't know what kind of songs they sing i guess they sing the psalms i know a few of the new testament psalms the the psalms of scripture we love to quote god was manifest in the flesh scene of angel justified that's actually a song they used to sing i mean they sing some great powerful songs none of this i this and me this and selfish this kind of singing that we hear so much about but they sing a lot about god and what he's going to do and and what he did and who he was you read the psalms they were always bragging on what god did we we sing a lot of bad songs today we sing a lot of songs that the christian world don't even know the god that we serve much less the god they claim to serve and they write all kinds of junk and we're so stupid we sing it and we think we're singing some song that pleases god and god shuts it off like a radio uh in a car that he doesn't want to hear what you're saying and then when i come up here or preacher comes up here he turns that on for a little bit if that preacher's preaching negativism he turns that off says i didn't go to church today angels they're also negative nasty and self-centered i don't want nothing to do with them oh that don't hurt they don't feel good to some people but i'm telling you that's the way it is you go to hundreds and thousands of churches united pentecostal churches oneness churches apostolic churches people that are supposed to have the truth and we're singing songs of people that don't even know who jesus is what's wrong with us in the head people that hadn't been through nothing and it's all about self self self self self self a self centered world but if you're going to get through your problems you're going to have to focus on jesus instead of you you're going to have to quit looking in the mirror and start looking in the word you're going to have to start talking about the god of heaven instead of how big your problems are and what you've been through and how bad life's been to you and what kind of hell you face and you've got to start talking about jesus and when you sing songs pick some songs that tell about the goodness of the lord pick some songs that lift him up and praise him and worship and magnify him pick some songs that have stories to it about how great thou art and thank god we're seared in some good singing here at christian life center but i'm telling you there's a whole lot of that nasty going on and paul and silas weren't part of that nasty self-centered me and i generation they were part of a generation that said i see nothing except jesus he's all that i live for he's all that i want i counted all loss i counted all loss what do you count laws i count my education some people are so stupid they think their education makes them worth something we got a college here i got a few professors and the more degrees they get the more arrogant they get and they can't even see it they're so blind they think they're something they're nothing without jesus and i see professors i've been to universities and i've been to colleges and i've been to seminaries and i've had a little class here and there i've seen the good the bad and the ugly about them it's a choice people make i've seen people that are talented i've met people that are rich some that are millionaires some that are multi-millionaires and they're all different you don't have to be like anybody except jesus if you don't want to and if you want to be like jesus you can be like jesus there ain't nobody that can make you be like the old self or like some other nem can put out there so pastor you're laying it on thick i'm laying it on thick i hope it's so thick it'll take you a week to wash off i want you to hear what i'm saying it's time that we realize we don't have to live in the moldy grubs we don't have to be discouraged we don't have to be destroyed we don't have to let the world around us dictate to what's happening inside of us i don't care if there's a hurricane if you've got a house built by god the rains and the storm ain't going to do anything to destroy it but be careful what you build your house on build it on the solid rock christ build it on the words that he speaks oh hallelujah i better quit i promise i could i i could just preach an entire another message with some of this woven in it maybe another i could probably go for three more hours i feel it's so strong and you think god we're not overseas because i'll tell you when i get over in some of them countries i go for three four five hours preaching i don't stop so you always get the short version no matter how long it may seem to you but i'm telling you something i'm telling you something you need to listen to me the devil's a liar your flesh is lying to you and god's word is true and right now more than anything in the world god doesn't need a depressed discouraged despondent church or preacher to face the world that's having a pandemic or a meltdown they need to see people of faith walk with their shoulders back the sword of the lord in their hand the armor of god on their body and the helmet of salvation and the shield of faith and says everything's going to be all right how can you say that because i know him who holds tomorrow created yesterday into sustaining the day and i can say that everything's going to be all right because jesus arose out of the grave and he's alive and well live it in my heart you've been discouraged you've been carnal you've been worldly that's a good way to get discouraged just get the world in you and then it'll work death in you so that's what i want to do right now i want everybody listening to me to bow your head if you're driving down the road i want you to pull over on the side of the road if you're running or walking i want you to stop what you're doing i want you to concentrate if you're in your house watching on a computer or you're in a room on a tablet or you're on a phone or whatever it may be i want you to hear what i'm saying stop what you're doing unless it's just absolutely impossible to stop and i want you to bow your head and we're going to repent we're going to pray some prayers today but first we're going to repent and i want you to ask god to forgive you for filling your heart and your mind and your life with satan and the world and the things around you and i want you when you repent you make commitments i want you to commit to god that's going to change starting this day now that doesn't mean you can't laugh and you can't have family time and you can't do things that are not super spiritual what it means that that's not going to be your everyday food that's going to be the dessert and if it's evil it's not going to be in your it's not going to be in your diet at all do you understand that we're talking about change in the way we do some things now let's pray lord jesus today i am asking you to forgive me as a pastor for feeding on the world for thinking about the world meditating on the things of the world allowing discouragement allowing the world come on somebody pray in your home don't just listen to me pray you pray your prayer too come on pray that prayer at home and meet it from the depth of your heart god forgiven me for being negative forgive me god for listening to negative things god forgive me for filling up on the junk and the sickness of the world that's trying to pollute my soul and destroy my spirit and crap my mind i'm sorry that i have ever allowed that into me and i repent today before god and everyone else god save me from myself the wretched man the wretched woman that i am and change me today i plead for forgiveness and ask for the mercies of god help me lord to be pure and to be holy wash me in your blood cleanse me with your spirit come on i want you to pray and repent we need a good repentance right now there's no better way to get rid of this discouragement than to start feeling god then to start feeling the things that are heavy rolling off of you to start feeling what's been tormenting your soul and your mind come on i want you to start feeling god i want you to start praying right now in your home some of you need to make a commitment you're not going to listen to the news you're not going to listen to the radio you're going to stop conversations that go too far you're going to tell people you love before you get there i love you but we're not going to talk about these things for a few weeks till i get some balance of spirituality and the things of god in my life come on we've got to make some changes because god needs christian life center god needs the people nathaniel haney preaches to no matter what city you're in what nation you're in you are a light and god needs you to shine as bright as you've ever shined and have as much faith as you've ever had before god forgive us for letting the world dictate to us forgive us for letting the world affect us forgive us for letting our lives get out of control now tell the lord you love him i love you going to rebuke spirit of hell off of some of you some of you been battling with all kinds of nonsense all kinds of attacks i'm gonna go to war for you and i'm in a position to do it because i'm a man of god and i'm prayed up and i've been in the word of god and i have the authority to speak to those demons and when i do i want you to just speak to them yourself and two or three agree together in my name god's gonna do it and you're gonna feel liberty come to your brain your mind your thinking and it's gonna change upon the authority of the word of god and by the power of the name of jesus christ's name above all names i command you satan and the hosts and hordes of hell to loose the minds of the children of god i silence your old filthy discouraging voices from speaking and i plead the blood of jesus over the children of god then the sound of my voice right now and i release you into the word of god i release you into the spirit of god i release you into the power of the holy ghost this morning loose them and let them go satan god give your angels to replace what the demons were doing to surround them for the angels of the lord these are people that fear you and love you and respect you send the angels to surround them and go to their homes god and i plead the blood of jesus over your church well i feel something happening i feel darkness beginning to go back i feel light beginning to shine hush i rebuke you satan in the name of jesus i i rebuke you satan in the name of the lord i rebuke you in jesus name i come against you in the name of jesus right now all hell the against you upon the authority of this word you cannot defy what thus saith the lord you don't have the power the strength to cause this word to return void but it shall prosper where god has sent it
