let of the me blessed be the name of the lord oh don't let me pop you to worship so just lift your hands one more time and this time you're gonna thank him [Music] advance for what he's going to do in your life there's a song that says praise him in advance praise him in advance you know see tomorrow but praise him in advance you don't see where some things are coming from but praise them in advance you don't have the money but praise them in advance you may not have the job yet but praise him in advance you have been praying for a family member to be saved and it's not yet done and it has been years that you've been praying praise him in advance still remember all ways are not god with god's ways and our thoughts are not god's thoughts neither are or timing god's timing jesus does all things well and in his own time and you know i saw something this week don't compare yourself to others don't look at where persons are and where you are at if you do that you're gonna go mad but hear what just know that god deals with us in his own time according to how we will he will give unto us severally as he will and he will elevate us in the time when he chooses fit everybody has a season solomon didn't fail to tell us about the seasons know your season and wait your time god will elevate you in due time god will use you in due time god will grant you your blessing in due time and i want to speak that to somebody and speaking it to myself but i want to speak to somebody else who might think that i it should have been my season we can't hold the hand of god and guide god god is more than capable he's more than capable and for the persons who want to hold god's hands and try to point his fingers to write what you're wanting to write it doesn't work like that [Music] god is bigger than that he's bigger than this even this season and so i speak life into you i speak life into your circumstances this morning i speak life into whatever struggle whatever situation with which you're faced because god is indeed able and so we're gonna be reading this morning from jeremiah chapter 30. actually jeremiah 30 1. and then i'm going to read i'm going to read two verses from jeremiah 31 and then i'm going to hop over to 32 chapter 32 where the meat of the matter is where i want so jeremiah 31 verses 33 and 34. and then i'm going to go over to jeremiah 32 and i'm going to read from verse 15 to 27. so jeremiah 31 verse 33 but this shall be the covenant that i will make with the house of israel after those days saith the lord i will put my law in their inward parts and right in their hearts and will be their god and they shall be my people and they shall teach no more every man is neighbor and every man is brother saying know the lord for they shall all know me from the least of them unto the greatest of them saith the lord for i will forgive their iniquity and i will remember their sin no more and i'm going over to jeremiah 32 and i'm reading from verse 15 to 27 and it says for thus saith the lord of hosts the god of israel houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land know when i had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto baruch the son of neriah i prayed unto the lord saying our lord god behold thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm and there is nothing too hard for thee though shoest loving kindness onto thousands and recompenses the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them the great the mighty god the lord of hosts is his name great in counsel and mighty in work for thine eyes are open unto all the ways of the sons of men to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings which hast set signs and wonders in the land of egypt even unto this day and in israel and among other men and has made thee a name at this day and has brought forth thy people israel out of the land of egypt with signs and wonders and with a strong hand and with a stretched out arm and with great terror and i'm skipping over to verse 25 and thou are said unto me o lord by thee by thee the field for money and take witnesses for the city is given into the hand of the chaldeans then came the word of the lord unto jeremiah saying behold behold and when he says behold he said look take note behold i am the lord the god of all flesh not of some persons not of those who you consider in high places the god of all flesh is there anything too hard for me and opposing this question because i said to you earlier god is in charge of everything so leave it all to him we're going to pray this morning but before we do i'm going to just present some requests to you so we're going to pray for a journey macintosh he's sick and is admitted in the hospital we're also going to be praying for four-year-old alia dixon with cancer the doctor said there is nothing they can do the only option available is very risky we know the god that we serve carl reid requesting prayer for our aunt's husband he has cancer as well he's not looking well and he's vomiting and all of these things but we're praying for him we're going to pray for sister crawford's grandson he's admitted in the hospital with a high fever we're praying for nadine scarlett she's seeking her for her marriage and she wants she seems to be headed towards divorce and she just wants god to rekindle that fire with her and her partner we're praying for silla azor asking for prayer for her brother give hertz we're praying for sister ashika we're praying for tracy king so nothing is there for ashika but we're praying that god will touch whatever the situation is so we're praying for trisia king as well this person is watching from ontorio and he's asking for her and we are also praying for lorna morris she cannot walk so cancer cannot walk and high fever and every other sickness and we know that we have a bomb in gilead and we're putting these saucer arrestees in your hands we're putting these requests before the bomb in gilead jeremiah chapter 8 verse 22 asked the question is there not a bomb in gilead we know that it's there and so we're gonna pray this morning heavenly father king jesus i put every request before you god you are not a god that you should lie and because you said in psalm 119 verse 89 that forever your word is settled in heaven we believe that indeed it is settled and we set every request that is on the papers that i've received god we know you're able according to ephesians 3 verse 20 to do exceeding abundantly above all that we may ever ask or think and so the impartialities we approach this morning no other than you king jesus we say intervene right now touch every person on the list for those unspoken requests lord jesus you know persons sitting in front of us who are struggling with different things or alien with different aches and things happening to them who are faced with different situations mighty god you know every person and you have not forgotten anyone and so god i put every person those who lord jesus who are in need of salvation salvation lord jesus to be with you and salvation from circumstances we put every case lord jesus you are the lawyer in the courtroom you're the doctor in the sick room you're the doctor in the hospital in their homes wherever the cases are lord jesus you see the struggles that passed on from 2020 to 2021 but we know and the question was asked is there anything too hard for you and because we know there's nothing we rest assured in the promises oh lord jesus that you've given we rest assured in your words that are settled in heaven and so jesus we put everything before you we put the service in its entirety before you the moderator the singers mighty god touch their lips touch their hearts touch their minds i pray that they will be united for you that lord jesus as levites lord god you'll give them oh lord jesus that utter answer oh god that presence that they need i pray that your spirit will continue to linger over them and over every aspect of the service over the altar area over the minister lord jesus and everyone who will take part in whatever way in the service touch the preacher lord jesus and let your will be done in no other name but in the name of jesus christ of nazareth let everybody say in jesus name in jesus name and we're that's the theme for 2021 church of the most high god jesus is my keeper i shall not be moved it means that if better days are ahead it won't move me i'm still focusing on jesus but it also means if more turbulent times are ahead don't forget that jesus is still our keeper and we must not be moved there's a part of and we extracted that from the verse of a song but the rest of the song says jesus is my keeper i shall not be moved and what's the next part just like a tree planted by the waters i shall not be moved you ever watch one of those coconut tree on the beach you know with and and it's right by the not even the river now the sea and when hurricane comic come off the sea you know and it comes on land i just said those big cork and a tree just bent over and as the wind hold up it just come up back it's not breaking it's not going to steer down it go right over it blew it blue and it just rolled down hold but make the breeze hold up you see it come right up back and afterwards it appreciate the fact that you have chosen the house of god this house of god it may not look attractive on the whole side but the presence of god is in this place the head of the house is jesus and place of dwelling at every window at every door at every entrance at every exit jesus i pray that he will saturate her place with your spirit touch your appearance oh god from the very corner of your head let her to the soul of their feet i pray o god that your words will guide them into bringing up this child we pray that he will touch every member of the family every one of god almighty that will have any influence on this child that your spirit will be with them cover under your blood oh god almighty i pray that her feet shall be planted and rooted in your house and that she will grow to do things for you oh god i pray that you continue to provide for real for mel and reynold oh god almighty let it be your god that your words guide them do this oh god as we offer up to you and pray that you will receive her with gladness and allow your will alone to be accomplished in your life as we give you thanks and praise and honor in jesus precious name in jesus name we pray amen praise or four young men in this service we bring another young man but those who were a little younger than him and we are happy this afternoon to have amen minister andrew martin with us in the first service he was on the keyboard but in this service he will be around the main board and we ask that we pray his strength as he ministers the word of the lord to us so at this time without any further delay i invite minister andrew martin to come and minister the word of the living god to us can we receive him church in the name of the lord jesus christ this morning we gave the two youngsters 12 praise god you're worthy to be praised amen this morning amen i was truly blessed when i see young men praise god delivering the word of god it reminds me that his truth endures to all generation amen it also reminds me that none of us are [Music] indispensable amen and therefore amen we have to ensure that we remain because god can move us out any time praise god i must say i i mean god reminded me of this word yesterday yesterday morning i was trying to get somebody else and um i don't even think i'm i mean homolytics tell you that you should not say you're 100 percent prepared or whatever the case i don't even think i am but i serve a god who is able and i know what god has laid on my heart amen and we ask us to turn our bibles to the book of saint john chapter 6 saint john chapter 6. saint john chapter 6 from verse 66 to verse 69 and then we got to go to saint john chapter 21 from verse 13 to 19. amen so saint john chapter 6 from verse 66 to 69 and it reads from that time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him then said jesus unto the twelve he also go away then simon peter answered him lord to whom shall we go though has the words of eternal life and we believe and we are sure that thou art the christ the son of the living god saint john chapter 21 from verse 13 to 19 and it reads like this jesus says jesus then cometh and take a bread and give it lamb and fish likewise this is now the third time that jesus showed himself to his disciples after that he was risen from the dead so when they had dined jesus said to simon peter simon peter or peter simon son of jonas love is thou me more than these he said unto him yea lord don't know it's that i love thee you say it unto him feed my lambs you say to him again the second time simon son of jonah slowest though me you say it unto him yeah lord don't know is that i love thee he said unto him feed my sheep he said unto him the third time simon son of jonas loves thou me peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time love is now me and he satan lord no noise all things no noise that i love thee jesus said unto him feed my sheep fairly rarely i see until the window was young the curtis thy self and walkers without with us but window are chubby old those are straightforward thy hand and another shall girdly and carry the whichever would has not this speak is signifying by what word from the book of life it comes time again to send for something from heaven through the conduit of your servant that stand before this desk i pray mighty god that you will use him in a very special way have him to speak this afternoon as the oracle of the living god take full control of his being and use him as an instrument to deliver your word nothing more nothing less but an instrument mighty god because what is important to all of us today is not the person that stands around the desk it is the world that will come fire this instrument for using mightily anoint his mouth anoint his lips so that the words will flow smoothly seamlessly through his being into the hearts of your people prepare every heart right now open every ears open every understanding so that as the word go forth it will find a place and lodge and etch itself in the hearts and the minds of the people that need that word right now so let your name be glorified let your perfect will be done as we sit and cease together on the words of the living god have your own way have your own way and let your will be accomplished right now we give you thanks you alone in jesus in jesus name in jesus name amen and amen hallelujah praise god hallelujah praise god amen you may be seated praise god jesus saith unto the twelve will he also go away recently i was watching amen some of our youtube videos i i god has blessed me amen that he has allowed me to be somewhat to be in charge of the media department here so what i do every now and then i would when i'm at work i would actually sit and i would watch the services you might you know for various reasons they might pick up something that you missed it might is something that you would want to pass on to persons or it might just be for encouragement amen we have been blessed to think that we have the ability in this time to capture back or to capture the services and sometimes when you are down and we can all attest to that we would go back and we would try to somewhat recreate the moment uh it recreated us mentally and we're reminded somewhat of the great services the power of god the power of praise and worship and the changing world that comes in these sessions so recently i was sitting at my desk and i was had on my headphone listening to the service watching every now and then i work with more multiple screens so i put one here and i'm watching and everyone did i look on praise god and it was while watching the service that the holy spirit impressed on me to not just watch the service like you normally would and i he said stop and i know when god speaks to me god have a way of talking to us if we know one day and god spoke to me says stop don't just watch the service look at the faces hallelujah so being at work that time my mind drifted from just the clapping and skipping a matter of fact i zoned out all of that and i started to focus on the faces as the camera passes each individual i looked and i saw people on the choir i looked and i saw people on the ban i looked and i saw people in the congregation people on the balcony and i see people worshiping and it was looks good so having looked i'm like wondering okay the next question that came to my heart was what do you notice okay so i stopped and i looked again and i realized there that many of the faces that i was looking at had vanished and some of them we probably don't remember them unless somebody would bring them up in a conversation amen the last question that came to my heart was will you also go i don't think i have any jump up message but i think i have a word from god for somebody i pondered the question deeply and i'm saying i know this question this is not the first time i'm hearing this and i and i and i was in my mind trying to remember at what point did i hear this after a while i remember the scripture in saint john chapter 6 and it is here where john captured one of the saddest moments in the ministry of jesus christ you know we often hear many times about the 12 disciples amen and bible records them clearly the 12 disciples of jesus christ but can i tell you that before there was 12 there was 17 and there were cases where there was a great multitude of times that would follow jesus help the holy ghost so at different times and different occasions we would find that through the gospels matthew mark luke and john many people would gather to him then god said not only that read all of saint john chapter six now saint john chapter 6 to me is one of a very powerful chapter it has 70 verses and within that 70 verses it gives a full blueprint amen of the two type of people that come to church every day amen there are two groups of people and from the two groups of people only one of the group is going to make it to the end and the question i'm going to ask you this morning which group are you a part of if you read the chapter carefully chapter begins with jesus gathering at the sea of galilee which is also the sea of tiberias and the bible said that jesus took his disciples aside he took them to a particular place and the crowd because the fact that jesus was doing miracles jesus was healing the sick the crowd gathered to him because of the healing that he was doing and the bible said jesus lifted up his eyes and when he looked he saw the big crowd the book of mark also records it and they tell you that he was actually teaching them for the whole day and when he had finished teaching and he looked the crowd was about five thousand men normally when the bible gives a number it's in reference to the men which means that there was about 10 000 people there 10 to 15 000 people how i know 5 000 men alongside women and children amen and the bible said that when jesus looked on them he realized that there were two things they were hungry and they were tired he said to philip we're going to feed them philip said even if i take my eight months worth of pee it still wouldn't be able to feed all these people and there was a guy andrew simon peter's brother who went to the crowd as a matter of fact in mark's gospel the bible is saying that some of the disciples were saying send them away because it would seem impossible to feed all of these people and the bible said andrew simon peter's brother he went into them and he found a little lad that prati had five loaves and two fishes and he brought it to jesus it's interesting that john used the greek word ospara for the word fishes which means that they were practically like sardines two little tiny fish and the loaves were not loaves that we would have if you're going to give your child food to go to school you would not give him five heart or bread so when the bible talked about the loaves he was talking about five dinner rolls and he brought it to god jesus took it jesus blessed it and the bible said everybody was fed what a mighty god they were full they were fully satisfied and not only that there was so much food from five loaves and two fishes that 12 baskets were left back and jesus said gather them let nothing be waste water god in that first story many people get up to him and they were fed by bread there's a lot you can pull from that firstly it doesn't matter how small the thing is when you give it to god god can multiply [Applause] amen it also can prove for me that our god is able to provide all our needs he is jehovah jiren the god who provides and therefore we don't need to worry but the bible said that after he did this miracle god discerned in his heart that they were going to take him secretly and set him up as king and what did jesus did jesus just escape and go quietly and up in the mountain away the other question is why are you jesus making jesus your king some of us say that he's the king of kings and the lord of lords but why jesus knew their hearts are going to go there so jesus stepped away not that he's not king he is the king of the universe but he stepped away and he went by himself that very night the bible said the disciples of jesus took a boat jesus was not on the boat and the people saw when the disciples took the boat and he went over so kapranam halfway about three and a half miles along the journey that night jesus walked on the water to them the bible said they were afraid because they see this man come and she said don't be afraid it is i what a god he's in control of the elements he can walk on water and the bible said that when the next day the same crowd that gathered to jesus and he fed them with bread they were looking for jesus because they knew when the boat left jesus was not in the boat so what they did they decided the bible said some boats came in from tiberias and they jumped on that boat to went across the other side when they went across the other side they saw jesus with his disciples a matter of fact they were searching for him and they phoned him and the bible said they said to jesus how do you get here because they already knew that jesus was left back in galilee and he saw the disciples go on the boat and go across and jesus said why do you search for me it's because of the bread i've always heard it said in church that you have two sets of people people that come to church for the bread and fish and people that serve god because they love him jesus hid himself from the crowd because they only gathered to him because of the bread and the fish what group are you a part of help me holy ghost you see some of the people the disciples originally followed him because they sought a new political party if you know anything about the pharisees the pharisees had different different groups they were all pharisees but you have different groups for example the whole issue of marriage there was a debate between the shamai and hillel two different group of pharisee groups so at different point in time jesus being a great teacher himself they wanted to just to see that he would form probably a new group so some followed him for that reason others follows him because they saw him leading a revolt against the romans remember they were under roman power at the time someone was simply fascinated by his theological discussions but can i tell you that none of these things that they followed him for were sufficient to keep them all the way hakubo sahaya so jesus moved from the physical bread to the spiritual bread jesus made a statement to them they said look here our father moses gave us mother in the wilderness because he said why do you see me was it for the bread and the fish somebody said okay moses gave his followers bread he said look your moses didn't really give them bread from heaven but the bread from heaven that you seek is here and the bible said they were wondering himself if you eat my flesh and drink my blood you see those people when they eat moses bread they died but when you eat of me you shall never die and the bible said from that moment many stopped working with him you see brethren many of them walked away not because they did not enjoy the bread that was given but one of the fundamental doctrine of scripture was that they chose to walk away can i tell you something about god god always gives us choices i know there's a doctrine that says that god don't give people choice and you're predestined and you're here and you but god give us choices take it from me over and over to the bible we have seen where god says i have placed before you this road and that road choose this road so choices are very important but apart from the fact that choices are very important because we can argue that many of the faces that i saw on that screen as i looked across they made a choice to choose god we can argue that many did choose jesus when they started this race they made a conscious choice to go with him all the way but nobody comes into this thing i said boy i'm going to come into backslide tomorrow i don't think so but wild choices is the first step it is not the only step and it will choices will not last if the flame of your choices will soon burn out if he is constantly being challenged by the coolness of the world the only fuel praise god that will keep the flames of your choices alive is the fuel of love that is why jesus when he met up with peter he asked him do you love me more than this help me holy ghost those who follow jesus in hopes are feeling good all the time you come to church and you jump on your skin and it is good i love it i love pentecost but if that's all you are here for you're going to be disappointed sooner or later but only people who truly love him will be able to weather the difficulties of living in this cruel world god search my heart because there is a relationship between love and choices jesus knew that in every one of our lives every person here there's going to come a point in time when you're going to have to choose and what you choose is going to be dependent on what you love the most this is why when jesus met up peter he said look here loves know me more than these know what he didn't say love me like this god knows that it's impossible to serve two masters jesus said if you have two mercy will love the one and hear the other god will never accept second place in our lives that's why he said if you love mother and father more than me you're not worthy of me and he that loved son and daughter more than me he's not worthy of me love it stole me more than these ha cabo santa more than this come from the greek word plio it means greater equality do you love god greater in quality it means greater in quantity it means superior it means more excellent how do you love god the only way we are going to be able to continue in this christian work in 2021 you see i i i i look back to history even in the first century into the second when the men were brought before arenas where lions were thrown and they were placed there and why god does not force people because the true expression of love is choices and choices has love love has choices choices have love recently i was on a particular show and they posed to me an old age question they asked a question if god is all-powerful and god is all good then why does eve exist and can i tell you this this has shoveled the mind of many many great minds people like albert einstein who came to the conclusion based on the law of relativity that there had to be a god he looked at the science and he said look at a god must exist but he could not accept the christian god because of the same old question question of evil they said it's either god is not all good not all omnipotent not omnipotent i should say all good omnibellevant sorry but it's all powerful which means that he does not want evil to stop or he is not all-powerful but he is all good which means that he cannot allow evil to stop but i borrowed the words of famous theologian it says the supreme ethic of god that has given to us is the ethic of love but you cannot truly love without intrinsically weaving in the freedom of the will in other words true love can only exist when there is a choice if we were robots a program just love then it would not be true love but god wants us to love him because we choose to love him and when we choose to love him more than anything else when jesus asked the question will thou also go you will answer like peter where can i go you ask the question why does god allow some of them to go scripture is telling some time they go because they were not of us but the truth is god allows them to go because god loves them i always say it all the time forced love is rape this morning i want to ask a simple question and i asked god to search my heart i i don't think i have no big jump up nothing but i think i have a word from god and i'm saying in order for you to make it going forward you're going to have to love god more than these there's going to be a point in your life where god is going to bring you to the crossroad are you going to have to make that choice many people that have sat in this congregation made a choice you are still here probably because you have not reached that point yet but because you are still enjoying the fish and bread but god is going to move you from the plain of the physical to the plain of the spiritual and when you reach that plane sometimes it's going to be hard sometimes it's going to be trying sometimes it's going to feel like nothing is working sometimes you're going to feel like god where are you but what is going to keep you what is going to keep you going forward brethren is how much you love him he is the champion of love and he expect love to be reciprocated to him that is why we sit here that is why sometimes evil still exists because god is giving people a choice to choose between this and this by the way when the bible says god created evil you're not talking about evil as an evil talking about calamity that's the hebrew word there just to clear that up so god did not create evil god create calamity that was there a situation that comes in your life that god will allow to happen to you so you can bring it to a place where he wants you to be you get it we are mad with people so we want to ensure that we write a divine word of truth eh but at the end of the day what is important every brother and sister is this you have to make this conscious choice in your mind going forward from today think about the many big preachers that have passed through faith chapel think about the many singers that have passed you faith chapel think about the many musicians that have passed through faith chapel think about the fact that you are still here ask your question why am i still here because jesus asked him will you also go the choice is really yours and the choice you make will only be dependent on how much you truly love him as i sat this morning and i was thinking about this i was searching myself i was saying god is there anything that i love more than you i said god try my heart god search me search me search me you are the god who tries the heart and knows the reigns hurts me turn the searchlight in is there anything there that if it should come upon me i'm going to choose it over you search me god i want to love you more than bees i want to love you more than the fish and the bread search me i want to know that god when the high time i'm in the boat and in the blue time i'm in the boat search me i want god to react at a point in my life that irrespective whatever comes if i have friends if i don't have friends i want to love you if i have enemies who are underway to attack me god i want to love you if it means that my neck is on the block and i have to give up my life for you i want to love you and i want to love you more than this search me search me search me so because too many of us are happy for coming to church with us jumping and skipping but god if that's it i don't just want the fish and bread i want you search me try me know my hearts i pray see if there be [Music] haha [Music] but if i love me more than you search me some of us love ourselves more than we love god some of us love entertainment more than we love god if the disciples had come to the point and this is why jesus had to cement it with peter who was about to lead the church notice he didn't ask him one time simon peter loves told me more than these theologians debate what these are but whatever these are these could be it could be anything could be the fish and bread that were eating again could be the fact that he was the one the other disciples that were there do you love me more than the rest of the side there are many speculations about what these are but the truth is you know what your these are you know the stuff that will pull you out you know the stuff that has kept you away from god the things that make may god be jealous for you with a holy jealousy i remember years ago i think it was past it was who spoke about the scaffolding yes venus fooling i might have been young but i don't forget them i said god i don't want to be asked fooling the scaffolding is used to build the building but when the building is done you remove the scaffolding god i don't want to be a scaffolding god i want to be with you i want to love you more than anything else i want to ensure that if god if you're going to do what you have to do in my life and trust me god is working in my life god is working in my life do what you have to do to bring me to a place where i am fully broken a broken and a contrite heart he will not despise the true test of the christian is not when they are in the good times you know the true test of the crystal is not when you're singing the happy songs and jumping and skipping and dancing that's not a taste the true test of your love is not when things are you have the money in the bank the true test of your love is not when you have food at your table hi the true test of your love is now when things are going smooth you will only know if you truly love him when he has sent you out on the sea and he remains on the shore [Music] i wonder if you could just close the eyes right now honestly think about yourself think about think about your heart ask god to cleanse me and to wash me because i want to remain in your house you probably don't realize it but a lot of things are coming your way and they're coming fast year just start and there's a lot of confusion in this world now is not the time to play a church and hate brethren and hear people and malice people and no no no we don't have time for that right now what we have time for is god to love you the bible said the whole law is hanged on two things to love god and to love god and to love your brethren ultimately the ultimate ethic that me and the major the most important ethic of god is love right now it's time for us to really get it together but if you decide to walk god is not going to say god is going to want you to come back but he's not going to holy and pull you back it reminds me of the church of laodicea it was a church the bible said god stand at the door and knock god was standing outside of the church that was his church and he was outside the church and he was knocking and notice he didn't even address the church anymore he said if any man would hear my voice and open the door i would come in and sup with him in other words the choice is always yours and your choice is going to be dependent on what you love he wants confession and repentance praise god so i would like to ask us to before we rush after think about that struggle that we have to think about that thing that is a very very large challenge for us to overcome this moment we are struggling to get past this and it is keeping us from the lord and we know it right and we know it i want to ask us to just think about it and and reach out to god
