[Laughter] [Music] so i've never had manwich [Music] just add me so i feel like sloppy joes are an american staple especially growing up like 80s of a 90s baby man wouldn't you rock mom make tonight a man with nights i want a man witch please just brown some ground beef and have a man-witch night whenever i would go to friends houses for like afternoon hangouts pool parties sleepovers i feel like there was always oh my god it's never fun mike's vlog for those of you wondering why i always say mike's vlog when i'm using my stovetop i'll link his channel below go be a mike's vloggian i don't know how i'm going to keep this up that's what she said so there would be sloppy joes at these parties and it really grossed me out loose meat hamburgers sloppy joes whatever i don't know like i understand it's supposed to be a staple as a child i was just like i wanted a hamburger i wanted a hot dog or i wanted the sides i would just walk around eating a giant bowl of chips that was bigger than my giant head and my giant a little glasses that my parents turned this photo into a magnet and then i thought it was a good idea to keep it so i've had my fair share of sloppy joes i'm a fan of them now but somehow someway i've never had a can of manwich dripped all over some ground chuck today that changes i can't believe this is considered cooking i got the highest fat content ground beef they had which i think you have to do when i hear manwich a sandwich is a sandwich but a man which is a meal like i says a sandwich is a sandwich but a man which is a meal yeah especially for us hungry lumberjacks when i hear that i think lots of fat the man which can was introduced in 1969 53 years people been sucking this down i'm going in raw like i'm in my 30s and i've never had this which i think is really random and rare for a midwest kid so you're getting natural reactions when i when i open this can you're getting all of me all right this is definitely thoroughly as the can says cook through so let's drain the grease i've got standards not many for sure i like look at my life look at my career but some i'm hanging onto one standard and that's just draining some of the grease out of this got a bowl in the sink to catch all the oh god to catch all the oh god it's the opposite of asmr just a slow greasy drip dude he's got a slow greasy drip there's just something about the way he spits dude it's like a it's like a slow greasy dress i yo traffic traffic looking for my chapstick feeling kind of carsick there's a ford maverick all right time to open up the can of nightmares i'm gonna get out of glass pyrex bowl just to show you what this looks like because otherwise you wouldn't really see it watch your fingers on the edges all right this is what a manwich can looks like when you pour it into a pyrex bowl [Music] i want to go to my sink and vomit clean it up with calm earth is my plan kind of just looks like tomato sauce tomato puree high fructose corn syrup jesus vinegar more corn syrup just not the high fructose kind salt sugar guar gum all right we're gonna pour this into our meat spatula it out no man which left behind [Music] stir this in and it's gonna start to really look like sloppy joe mead huh it's in these very real moments i think about all the brilliant people i went to college with and what they're doing now and if they're like i'm gonna check up on sean ely and see where he's jesus christ you could have just called me i'm not gonna lie to you this looks pretty damn good and it smells incredible i love tomato puree it's a weird sentence to say out loud all right move that off the heat i got these super soft sesame seed buns i'm gonna use gonna toast them [Music] go down you son of a bit whoa slotted spoon whoa you can see my eyes through that slotted spoon i look like a villain probably dc though because it's like half-assed and as good as marble um anyways patronizing i'm gonna do one just plain and one with cheese i wanna try it as is i'm gonna do cheese on the bottom so this [Music] melts you could do like layers of cheese like what's wrong with that [Music] i can't believe i've gone this long in the video without using the clip of i made them extra sloppy for you i made them extra sloppy [Laughter] so what a scene of my childhood [Music] all right i think that's properly sloppy glamour shots are non-cheese one all right guys my first time ever having a can of manwich on some ground chuck cheers i get it i totally get it here i'm going to pause this frame and write in the comments what you think my assessment of this is ready um free [Music] it's fan [ __ ] tastic and i don't get paid for doing this at my own house but i will do it for you because i know you guys work hard i mean i know i said tomato puree it's so tomatoey like i forgot that sloppy joe's flavor profile is so like creamy tomatoey salty i mean living up to his name properly sloppy but toasting the bun keeps everything together for the most part the sandwich and the bread integrity is still there [Music] oh my god i think we have the seasoning packets for sloppy joe every now and then growing up never the man which cans but this is i mean it was like a dollar they have a bunch of flavors too like bold like bourbon barbecue or something thick and chunky which i get it if you're trying to look a certain way you are what you eat [Music] i have to imagine this is only going to be leveled up this is the cheese one which i know you could have melted the cheese like in with the meat but i kind of wanted to do it separate it didn't melt i got a bunch of layers in here here we go you know what you're getting yourself into when you clicked on this video halftime rinse babe can you get the power washer she's not home you think i'd do this when my fiance's home i'm on cloud [ __ ] nine if this wasn't just a traditional like straight up shawn's first time eating where i wanted all the natural flavors to come through i'd probably do jalapeno slices on this i'd put chips i might even uh sunny side up an egg or an over easy egg and throw that on here and make it a breakfast sloppy j we've got ruffles all right last few bites on camera are these stale no we're not everywhere hellfire detroit's beer habanero scorpion i'm going to spice this baby up a little bit and then i'm going to put ruffles on this too ally's calling me let's admit to her what i've done hey babe how was yoga it was very good i just stopped at target and got gelatin corn syrup and a fine fresh strainer that's amazing we're making marshmallows we're making mallows babe i made two sloppy joe sandwiches how are they man witch um i don't know are you calling off the engagement all right i love you i'll try to air out the apartment
