drinking in shiloh now eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the lord and she was in bitterness of soul and prayed to the lord and wept in anguish then she made a vow and said oh lord of hosts if you will indeed look on the affliction of your maidservant remember me and not forget your maidservant but will give your maidservant a male child then i will give him to the lord all the days of his life and no razor shall come upon his head and it happened as she continued praying before the lord somebody say and it happened that eli watched her mouth now hannah spoke in her heart only her lips moved but her voice was not heard therefore eli thought she was drunk so eli said to her how long will you be drunk put your wine away from you but hannah answered and said no my lord i am a woman of sorrowful spirit i have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink but have poured out my soul before the lord do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief i have spoken until now then eli answered and said go in peace and the god of israel grant your petition which you have asked of him and she said let your maidservant find favor in your sight so the woman went her way and ate and her face was no longer sad may god bless the reading of his word and may it be accomplished in your life for a brief moment i dynamics that are happening here listen to me there are two dynamics that are are happening here god amazes me and what he does and sometimes we don't understand why we desire certain things why we desire the things that we desire some things are deadly destructions we do know some things come as deadly distractions they were created some things were created to take us off course they were created to take us off course but some time sometimes god will give us uh some things and some desires for a greater purpose some desires uh that god would give us is for a greater purpose for what he is trying to accomplish with us um it is what god is trying to uh accomplish in us but also to use us for a greater purpose in the kingdom of god and so uh two stories here uh that are going to tie in together there are two stories the story of hannah is one and then we're going to tie it in with eli and his two sons uh somebody said there is a shift there's a shift that's going to take place there's a shift that must take place watch this inhale personal life but there's also a shift that is needed in the kingdom of god we uh when we begin to seek his face when we really begin to seek god when you begin listen when you begin to seek god's faith he will make a shift in your personal lives because there's a greater need for kingdom purpose when we speak of a ship we speak of a move of god a move a move a move that moves us from one place to another from one level to another level from one dimension to another dimension somebody shout it's time for ship some things got to move out of the way they ask god because god is shifting something else into the way hallelujah it's time got said for advancement it becomes time for elevation somebody shout shift and i believe that god is about to advance some people in the kingdom of god it's time for uh god is moving some people in and he's advancing them in the kingdom of god according to the text every year hannah and her family would go to worship and make sacrifice at shiloh they would go and they would go to a place called shalom but shiloh means rest a place of wrath can you imagine going to a place year by year year by year by year year after year looking for rest and can't find rest you can't find rest anywhere i got some people on the line tonight they're saying pastor simmons you're talking to me hallelujah i keep going looking for rest in the places that i supposed to find the rest but i can't find rest the rice the rest the rest that i'm looking for by this time but this time when she goes but this time is different i came to talk to some people i need you to know that this time in your life in this season in this year of your life it's going to be different why is this time different from any other time she refuses watch this she refuses uh to settle for being barren i'm talking to some people here she decided that she wanted this disgrace to be removed from her it was a disgrace of her not being able to give birth to children and she wanted this disgrace to be moved from her i'm talking to somebody right now because masterson is just like yo i need this disgrace whatever your disgrace may be whatever you think your disgrace is you're saying pastor i need this disgrace to move from off of my life she wanted what she was created for she wanted what she was anointed for she wanted to give birth hallelujah and some of you are saying pastor i want what i've been created to do i want what i've been anointed for i must give birth in the kingdom of god her husband you got to understand akunai was her husband and he had two wives one named banana who had sons and daughters and she would give to them but he would give to them yes but because hannah didn't have any children he would give her a worthy portion and some of us would say that's good that he looked out for her they said good that he gave her a worthy portion but how many know some of us some of us i'm talking to a worthy portion is not good enough a worthy person is not good enough for me in this season of my life i cannot settle yeah yeah a worthy portion means that it will help me to survive uh it will help me get through time after time but it does not satisfy me in god i need something greater and i need something greater than stuff this year who am i talking to i need something greater high in my life i'm more than stuff more than stuff she is not satisfied who is not satisfied and you're asking god i need more god of you i need more of you i need you to download some more wisdom and knowledge and understanding in me god i need more i need more of who you are i need more of your presence i need more i need more i need to see your glory and i'm not stopping god until i see it i dare you to shout and tell you to type it and say i need more i thought i had children she could not handle the love oh my god there's some people that can see god's anointing on you and they cannot handle what god's about to do in your life she play an adversary in hannah's life just to prompt us to provoke her you got some people that god will place in your life that's going to aggravate you just to provoke you where they've been aggravating some situations some circumstances god said i put it there to aggravate you i put it there to promote you yes thought some things will play as aggravation in your life to move you spiritually god said this year i want to move you spiritually the bible declared she provoked her soul provoked her to cause her to desire change the provoking is going to cause change for you to desire change in your life provoked her until it pushed her into another place in god you got to be honest tonight saying if it what if that thing didn't happen to you it wouldn't have pushed you on your knees you wouldn't have been in a place where you stopped the force the face of god it pushed you to another level she was provoked into her destiny i came to talk to you tonight to let
